Meanwhile, due to Piccolo's condition and not becoming an ally, Kami has finally successfully used the mafuba on him. Anyhow, the dragon team was mourning the loss of Yamcha, Tien, and especially Chaotzu since they couldn't bring him back to life because he got killed twice. At the hospital, Chichi scolds Goku for "making Goten fight against those brutes." Goten who is covered in band aids, spoke up and said that this whole thing was his idea. Chichi was horrified and then sobbed, thinking that her baby was becoming a delinquent. Just like in canon, the crew has learned about Namek and their dragon balls as Koirin told them about it.
Speaking of which, the rest of the story would play the same. Unfortunately, Goten ended up needing to stay in the hospital for 4 months, just like his father. This means that he couldn't join the Namek trip… yet.
Once Yajirobe arrived with the sensu beans, Goku and Goten's health was restored. The plot would remain the same except that Goten was sneaking up with his father. As Goku did give him new clothes that represent his orange gi. On the spaceship, Goku and Goten would do sparing just without the gravity increase for the boy's level. However, if Goku trains alone, he would use it. Anyhow, the plot would remain the same, again. Until the part with Daboria targeting Dende. Whereas the Namekian boy was killed because there was no Goten or especially Gohan with his rage boosts. So, Krillin wasn't caught by Dodoria.
Of course, the story would go like normal. Except that Bulma never got to meet Dende. They also didn't even learn about the Namekians' origins. Along with the four-star ball didn't end up getting stolen, so far. Krillin was the one to fight Recoome since he was the only fighter who had energy left. Unfortunately, he ended up with the same fate as Gohan. Luckily, Goku and Goten finally arrived at the planet as Krillin had gotten a sensu bean from them. The story goes the same, except when Goku asks Goten and Krillin to search for the dragon balls while he and Ginyu fight. Whereas Goten wanted to join but Goku says it's too dangerous for him. The boy was very stubborn about it, but then he remembered his paralysis and accepted it. While the two were flying, Goten noticed that Krillin's ki had gotten stronger. So, Krillin explained to him about how Guru unlocked his potential. The young child was genuinely interested in it and wondered if he could get it too.
Anyway, when Goten and Krillin face to face with Ginyu (In Goku's body) and Jeice. Goten was confused about this and wondered why his father would join their side. Then he realizes that he's probably not him and tells Krillin about it. Like in canon, Krillin has gotten punched by Ginyu in the face. This time, however, Goten fights back to Ginyu knocks him unconscious. When Goku (In Ginyu's body) arrived at the scene, he was horrified to see his son injured again. Especially after all of that training. Anyhow, the fight would remain the same.
After Ginyu and the frog swapped bodies, Krillin gave Goten a senzu bean. Then they and Vegeta send Goku to the medical machine. Just like in the original, Krillin and Goten have gotten their Saiyan armors. However, the two head off together towards Guru's house. Meanwhile, Frieza was brutally beating up Nail for not giving him the passcode. Anyway, Goten and Krillin have arrived and noticed Nail being critically injured. In a weak voice, the Namekian told the two about the secret message. He also mentions that the dragon can only grant wishes by the namekian language. After that, Goten and Krillin came in to see Guru. Whereas Goten finally got his potential unlocked, and he's even stronger than Gohan was in this scenario. The two flew towards Frieza's ship while carrying Nail. As they placed him into the medicine machine.
While they are waiting patiently, they notice a strong Ki close to them. They found out that Frieza had already gathered the dragon balls. Krillin panicked and believed it was too late but then Goten explained to him that there was nothing need to worry about because he probably didn't know the passcode. Plus, the dragon cannot be summoned by speaking Japanese. This is true as Frieza threw into a fit of rage and believed that he came to that planet for nothing. He also wanted to destroy Namek as a form of revenge. This woke up Vegeta and flew towards the scene. When he got there, he was horrified to see Frieza with the dragon balls. Then he noticed Goten and Krillin watching in fear. The Saiyan has gotten irritated and demands the two to do something about it. Since Goku is still in the medicine machine, they agreed.
However, Frieza has finally seen the three and the part with him transforming into his second form and assaulting Krillin with his horn would be the same as the original. Until when Goten was about to attack Frieza. Since he doesn't have Gohan's rage powers, he was brutally punched into the ground leading to paralysis. Then Frieza crushes him to death. Goku noticed the disappearance of his son's ki. Without thinking, he burst out of the medicine machine. When he saw Goten's dead body and Frieza's sinister face, his body tensed up as his hair turned blonde while screaming in rage. Krillin, Vegeta, and especially Frieza are in absolute shock. Anyhow, Goku punches the tyrant right into the gut and blood comes out of his mouth, and instantly dies. After a while, Goku starts to calm down and reverts to his normal form. He, Krillin, Vegeta, and Bulma all made it back home to Earth safely and Namek wasn't even destroyed.
