Chapter 13: "Back to The Start"
~VA BTTS VA~
There were two weeks left of the tour and you could feel it in the atmosphere. Everyone was tired and couldn't wait to be at home again. We'd literally done a sort of horseshoe around the US, so we were already heading in the direction of home. While we were excited to be almost done, there were also some issues left to sort once we did get back.
Both Eddie and Christian would have to find work. The tour was too long for their employers to hold their positions, although Eddie might be in luck. He'd been keeping a close eye on the youth centre he'd worked at and they had a job posting on their website that still hadn't been filled. So, he was going to contact them to see if they would consider taking him on again.
Christian was thinking about waiting to look for work until he'd moved in with Lissa, officially. But it might be tough for him to find a head chef position. He definitely didn't want to start at the bottom of the ladder again, not with his qualifications. But most restaurants in town didn't even open without a head chef at the helm. Unless you count 'chain restaurants' like 'Applebee's'. That was not something Christian wanted. He was used to cooking for a five-star establishment.
It had been such a long night and I was exhausted. Dimitri was still at the venue with the guys, loading their gear back onto the bus, but Lissa and I were too tired to wait and caught a cab back to the hotel.
Dimitri had given me permission to use his laptop because mine had died and it was currently charging. It was so dead, that I didn't want to wait for it to be slightly charged before I could use it. Sitting on the bed, I crossed my legs after kicking off my shoes. Opening a web browser, I went to the site and logged in to review my email. I was surprised to see a message from my dad.
Reluctantly, I clicked it. Skimming the text, I got the message. Abe was pretty upset with how Janine had treated me when we had dinner at the hotel. They argued quite a bit about it until finally, Abe filed for divorce.
I didn't see that coming, but for some reason, I wondered how they stayed married so long. My mother has always been a hard woman to get close to. He went on to apologize for not standing up for me more against my mother.
When I was a teenager, it's all I wanted. To be close to my mom, like I'd seen Lissa with her mom, Rhea. But if I was honest, Rhea was more of a mother to me than my own was.
But Janine was selfish and was so concerned with how something made her look. I was constantly taunted for having a large chest, an ass and an appetite. I couldn't be myself around her.
Now, there was a question of whether I was going to reply or not when an alert appeared at the top right of the screen. Dimitri had an incoming mail message, and I realized he never powered off his laptop, just closed the lid, putting it in sleep mode.
I didn't want to snoop but the alert clearly showed 'Ivan' and the subject line. It made me incredibly curious but I closed out of the app so I couldn't invade his privacy or get any new alerts.
There was no rush to reply, I could do it another time. But I also knew if I didn't, I would likely never reply.
"What the fuck do I say to that?" I murmured to the empty room.
Finally, I just typed a quick. 'Sorry to hear that. Hope you're doing well.', signed my name, 'Rose', and logged out of my account before closing the lid and placing the laptop on the bedside table.
Moving off the bed, I washed up in the bathroom, before pulling on one of my cropped t-shirts and a pair of boy-short styled underwear then crawled into bed. The pillow next to me still smelled like Dimitri from the night before and I cuddled it close to me, breathing in his scent. I was asleep soon after, waking when there was a dip in the bed. I realized it was just Dimitri and went back to sleep.
I don't think I'd slept much more but currently, I was cuddled up with Dimitri, his head on my chest, as my gaze was drawn to the window in our hotel room, admiring the sunrise. I was running my hand through his hair, appreciating the silky softness of it. Dimitri was completely out, especially after the second show last night. We'd be leaving just after lunch today as we agreed to have a late start. We didn't have to check out until noon anyway.
The guys all tended to be more exhausted after a second show because they'd have to reload their gear onto the bus afterwards, meaning they sometimes didn't get to bed until three or four AM.
Last night was one of those later nights but Lissa and I couldn't keep our eyes open anymore and had returned to the hotel before them, too tired to hang around. I felt Dimitri crawl into bed with me just before 4AM and snuggle up, wrapping me in his arms. It was barely an hour and a half later and I was wide awake.
After forgetting to charge my laptop, he'd let me use his to check my email. Unbeknownst to me, his mail app was open but sitting in the dock on his MacBook, so while I was scrolling through my messages in a web browser, he'd gotten a new e-mail alert.
There was no intention on my part to snoop or read the email, but I did notice it was from Ivan and the subject read, 'Restaurant Space'. I don't think it was anything bad, but I was curious, more than anything.
My mind was still focused on my question for him. I needed to talk to Dimitri about that e-mail alert but I wasn't sure how to bring it up. Being that I was restless and couldn't sleep anymore, I decided to get up.
It took some finessing to wriggle my way out of Dimitri's grasp. Heading to the bathroom, I jumped in the shower and was happy because my arm seemed to be healing well. There wasn't as much of an ache after washing my hair and I was even able to blow dry it now. But being so early, 5:37AM to be exact, I left it down to dry on its own, knowing the sound of the hair dryer would wake him. Slipping on one of Dimitri's Henley's, I padded back into the main room to find he was still sound asleep.
After ordering some coffee and cereal from room service, I pulled out my 'lyrical journal' and continued working on a new song. Fifteen minutes later there was a quiet rapping on the door, and I jogged over to open it.
Rolling the small cart into the room, I poured some cereal and milk into a bowl and put the rest of the milk in the mini-fridge in our room so Dimitri could have some later as well.
Three hours had passed and it was going on 9AM when Dimitri started stirring. Setting down my journal, I walked over to the bed and crawled in beside him.
"Hmmmm…Roza?" He murmured sleepily.
"Morning, Comrade." I smiled, as he tugged me into his arms.
"Where were you?" He asked, leaning over to kiss my neck.
"I couldn't sleep, I was up with the sun." I relayed, running my hand through his hair as he nuzzled his face into my neck.
"Any particular reason why?" He posed, resting his head on his hand, his elbow next to his pillow. His eyes were still half closed as he tried to focus on me.
"You look sleepy." I smiled.
"I'm wide awake." He grinned. "So, any reason to be up so early?" He reiterated.
"Sort of." I started, brushing a hand through his hair again. "Last night, you let me use your laptop." I shared and he nodded.
"Yes." He murmured, waiting for me to continue. "Did you get some upsetting news or something?" He pressed.
"Well, news, but, ugh." I harrumphed. "My dad emailed me. He's divorcing Janine." I shared, taking me off track of what I wanted to ask him.
"How do you feel about that?" He asked, cautiously.
"Surprised he hasn't done it sooner." I admitted. "My mother is a difficult woman to like." I shared.
"Can't say I think much of her." He comforted.
"I don't blame you, Comrade. But that wasn't what I wanted to talk to you about." I stated. "While I was checking my e-mail, you got a message alert." I shared. "I wasn't snooping, but I saw it was from Ivan and it made me curious." I finished, biting at my lip.
"I don't mind if you see my e-mail, there's nothing to hide, milaya." He replied, slipping his hand under the Henley of his I was wearing and skimming his fingers over my stomach. "What did you see?" He added.
"Just the subject line." I stated, biting at my lip.
"Restaurant Space?" He asked and I nodded. He'd clearly read the e-mail. "Yeah, Ivan and I are planning on expanding 'The Academy' to a 'sister' restaurant, more upscale than the bar." He shared. "I was waiting to tell you until we'd secured the space." He clarified.
"Really?" I asked in surprise. He laughed quietly at that.
"Really." He smiled.
"What kind of food?" I asked, turning on my side and wiggling closer to him.
Dimitri shared that he'd love to have some similar dishes to the bar, but a little fancier and some of his favourite Russian dishes from home as well.
"That's exciting." I giggled. "So, the e-mail from Ivan is about a space for the restaurant?" I asked for clarification.
"Yes, he did a final walk through for me and was finalizing the purchase. He will be my 'silent partner' to the restaurant." He explained. "Just like I'm the 'silent partner' for the bar. There are some other details to go over and I will share those a bit later, but first." He paused. "I need a shower, and some food and fuck, coffee!" He exclaimed. "I can already smell it." He shared, kissing me before climbing from the bed. I giggled when I noticed he'd come to bed naked.
I explained I'd ordered a carafe of coffee early this morning and had cereal delivered so he could have some as well.
"You need to shave a little too, Comrade." I relayed as he ran his hand over the short goatee, he was sporting.
"You think?" He smiled. "You don't like it?" He flirted, crawling back on the bed towards me and rubbing his face against my cheek, making me giggle.
"I like a little stubble, especially…" I trailed off as he peppered kisses along my legs.
"Especially?" He prodded, pulling back to look at me.
"Especially between my legs." I shared, trying not to laugh.
"Roza!" He stated, a huge grin on his face. "So scandalous." He chuckled as he hovered over me as I lay on my back. "Don't worry, milaya, I'll trim it back quite a bit." He shared, kissing me soundly one more time. "But not too much." He smirked, before traipsing to the bathroom.
While Dimitri shaved and showered, I lay out his clothes for him so I could repack the suitcases for our checkout later.
We checked out quite early and Dimitri and I were the first to arrive at the bus. Even Stan was MIA.
"How much time do we have?" I asked as he opened the bus door and let me climb on first.
"Like two hours." He replied.
Looking towards the bunks, then back at Dimitri, I wiggled my eyebrows. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Comrade?" I teased, tugging his hand and leading him towards his bunk. "We need to christen your bunk." I smiled.
"Roza. There isn't enough room." He reasoned.
"Of course, there is, I can lay on my side, you fuck me from behind, or, my preference," I paused as he raised one eyebrow and crossed his arms and fuck if he didn't look so hot doing that. "You lay on your back, pull your cock out, and I sit on it." I grinned. My head might graze the bunk above, but I can work with that." I coaxed. "Please." I pouted, sticking out my lip.
"You're trouble, milaya." He smirked, bending down to kiss my pout. "Where do you want me?" He asked, kicking off his shoes.
"On your back, big boy." I smiled.
Dimitri was tall and his arms long enough that he could still pick me up by my waist and lift me up into the bunk. "Thanks." I giggled after leaving my pants and underwear on the floor. I straddled his thighs and worked on undoing his pants. The cocky bastard, lay back with his arms behind his head, watching me.
"Why don't you pull the privacy curtain closed, you know, just in case." I instructed when I finally had his zipper down. Reaching inside, I pulled his cock free and pumped him a few times, but it really didn't take much. He was always ready to go.
"Fuck, I love it when you stroke me." He murmured, biting his lip.
Inching forward, I was on my knees but my torso was perpendicular to Dimitri's body as I guided myself down over him.
"Yes." I called, when he was fully sheathed inside of me.
Leaning forward I pressed my lips to his as his arms wound around me, holding me flush against him as his hips met mine, thrust for thrust. We went at it for almost ten minutes before I finally let myself go. The orgasm flooded through me as I continued to bounce over him.
"Fuck, Roza, don't stop." He called, his hands on my hips, guiding me to his own release. "Shit, I'm coming." He growled out, as his hands held my hips still as he thrust from below once, then paused, releasing inside me, before thrusting a few more times.
"That was so worth the chance at getting caught, Comrade." I giggled, climbing off of him. "We don't have time though, Lissa is coming." I shared, pointing out the window after I'd opened the privacy curtain.
We rushed to redress quickly and Dimitri slipped his boots back on before sitting at the table while I acted like I was looking for some water in the small fridge. Grabbing a bottle, Lissa bounded onto the bus.
"Hey." Lissa smiled.
"Hey Liss, late checkout?" I asked.
"We took advantage and slept in." She shared as Christian boarded the bus a few moments later. Followed by a sluggish looking Eddie and Mason.
"Bed, for us, two, both of us." Mason mumbled as they trudged past, their luggage with them before pulling the privacy curtain to the sleep area.
I laughed at their hungover faces while Lissa explained. "They got in late, partied a little too hard." She chuckled, taking a seat as well before Christian sat down next to her. "They're going to sleep until dinner." She added.
"I was up with the sunrise actually, but I fell asleep while Dimitri was getting ready." I shared, letting out a yawn as I took a seat at the table and scooted over to make room for him
He sat down a few minutes later with his laptop after storing our bags and letting Stan know he could head out.
"That's actually good that they're sleeping, I wanted to talk with you guys about something." Dimitri interjected.
Dimitri laid out his plans for the restaurant before turning to Christian. "How would you feel about being my head chef?" He asked, a sly smile on his face.
"Are you serious?" He asked in surprise.
"Of course." He nodded. "That is if you can work on your knowledge of Russian cuisine." He smirked. "Like how to make it." He laughed. "I'd like to have some dishes on there, favourites from home." He shared.
"Of course." He smiled. "Thanks man, that means a lot." He nodded.
"On top of that, Roza," He started, turning to face me. "I would like it if you'd co-own it with me." He stated.
"I thought Ivan was already?" I asked in confusion.
"Well, he only wants 10%. Leaving 90% for us to split 45% each." He grinned. "I don't want you putting any of that settlement money in on it, just to be clear." He stated. "But I want your input on style, design, what should be on the menu." He clarified. "Hiring staff." He added.
"You really want me to co-own this place with you? Are you nuts?" I asked in all seriousness. I knew nothing about owning a business.
Dimitri looked at me and laughed softly while he nodded. "I'm serious, Roza." He paused. "Besides, it would be more fitting if the name reflected the ownership." He grinned.
"Oh, what is the name going to be?" Lissa interjected.
"Well, at first, I was going to go with 'Roza's'." He paused, and I wanted to roll my eyes at how cheesy that was. Even if it was a sweet gesture. "Do you know how many restaurants already exist with a name like that or something similar?" He asked rhetorically, shaking his head. "So, I settled on something inherently more suitable."
"What?" I asked impatiently.
"'Romitri's'."
"Oh, I love that." Lissa grinned.
"You're naming it after, well, us?" I asked in surprise.
"Yes, Roza." He smiled.
"I love it." I admitted. "And I'd love to co-own it with you, but, Comrade." I paused. "I don't know shit about running a restaurant." I relayed.
"That's okay, milaya. You can learn." He affirmed. "Now, lastly," He took a moment and looked at Lissa. "How would you feel about managing it?" He asked.
I giggled at the look on Lissa's face. "What about the band?" She mumbled.
"You'd still be our manager, but for the most part, we stick with our Friday and Saturday night gigs, maybe one night instead of two at times." He explained. "There won't be a lot to do in terms of shows, other than advertising on our social media." He explained.
"And probably having to respond to labels calling for record deals." Christian interjected.
"I don't know much on the business side of things." She admitted.
"Well, I did think of that. You could take a college course for it, and I'd pay for it." Dimitri suggested. "Business management, and they have a night course and an online one, depending on what you'd prefer." He explained. "It's four months long." He finalized.
"You should do it." Christian encouraged.
Lissa smiled. "I'm in." She grinned as she reached her hand out. "Shake on it." She instructed. Dimitri complied and then did the same with Christian before sealing the deal with me by pressing his lips to mine.
"Ivan finalized the purchase of the space for me so I want your input, Christian," He paused, pulling up something on his laptop. ", on the design of the kitchen." He shared. "We're starting with nothing and building up, so we have free reign on how things will work."
"That's fucking awesome." He murmured as Dimitri turned his lap top around to show us the space Ivan had purchased.
"Comrade, this is going to be awesome. Can I make one suggestion?" I asked meekly.
"Of course, milaya. I want to know whatever you're thinking." He stated.
"Can it NOT be super modern in terms of style. Think more retro like the 1940's, you know. We can have a stage for musical acts that are more mellow." I shared. "Like a lounge singer in a speakeasy." I smiled.
"I love it, Roza. I was thinking something similar." He confirmed. "In fact, I'd love to get art and posters reflecting that era, actors and actresses from that time."
"You mean like John Wayne, cowboy?" I giggled.
"Maybe." He smirked, leaning over and kissing my cheek.
"I love that actually, pin up style hair for the servers, red lip." Lissa stated. "That is if they're okay with that." She added. "That would also mean a uniform of a longer skirt or pant, too." She grinned. "Oh, the fashion possibilities!" She added with excitement.
"When we finally are ready to hire staff, we can add that in the listing that it's a preference." I interjected.
"When we do get home, and finish the shows, the next week we'll go look at the space and figure out where things are going to go. I want to have an idea of what we want before I get the contractors involved." Dimitri relayed.
"This is so exciting." I giggled, wiggling in my seat. "What about the gym though? You were working full time." I prodded.
"I've e-mailed Alberta about it, and when I return, I will still take shifts at the gym, but part-time. At least while getting the restaurant up and running. Then when I'm ready, I'll bump up my shifts."
"You're going to work two jobs, when you don't have to?" Christian interjected.
"I love the gym, man. I literally get paid to work out." He chuckled. "Alberta knows about your wrist too, Roza, so she's not going to expect you back to full time right away. It might be a good idea for both of us to keep to part-time schedules until we get things going with the restaurant." He explained.
"Maybe I should take that business management course too." I suggested.
"That would be great Rose. We can study together." Lissa replied excitedly.
"It's a great idea." Dimitri complimented, leaning over to kiss my temple.
"Man, we've only got three shows left of this tour!" Christian shared with enthusiasm. "Friday night, then the home shows!" He added. "And when we get home, I need to start cooking more Russian food!" He chuckled.
"We should do a dinner with Rose and Dimitri and you can make a few dishes." Lissa suggested. "After you've worked on them of course."
"We'll do a lot of tastings for the menu." Christian replied. "We can come up with a list based on your ideas, D, then edit it down or add where needed." He explained. "Then my part will be finding the best recipe for the dish with tastings, where you'll all be my guinea pigs." He smiled evilly, rubbing his hands together.
"You're a dork, Sparky." I giggled. "But I won't say no to free food." I grinned with a wink.
"Now, this damn tour just needs to end." Lissa relayed.
"Where is the last show of the tour?" I interjected, cuddling into Dimitri's side as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders after closing his lap top.
"You seriously don't know where the last shows are?" Lissa asked, incredulously.
"Stop looking at me like that, I've had other things to worry about." I replied, waving my arm at her jokingly. "Among other things."
"Fair enough." Christian smiled.
"The final shows are at 'The Academy', milaya." Dimitri shared.
"Oh," I smiled shyly, tucking my face into his chest. "I knew that." I nodded as everyone laughed at my expense.
~VA BTTS VA~
That Friday, they did their final show and the last stop would be home. The excitement on the bus was infectious as Stan started hooting the horn and spoke to us through the intercom system.
"We are ten minutes away from home!" He called.
We all started giggling and laughing as we gathered our things and packed what we could back into our luggage. Stan pulled into the back lot of the bar and we couldn't get off that bus fast enough.
"Roza?" Dimitri called, as I was heading to the back door.
"Hmmmm…" I murmured, turning to face him.
"Would you walk up to the apartment, get my SUV and bring it back? I need to help unload the equipment and we can't carry everything else home." He requested.
"On one condition." I smirked.
"What?" He smiled, wrapping his arms around my waist and tugging me against him.
"Kiss me, of course." I grinned as he leaned down, pressing his lips to mine. This was no soft kiss, he went all out, stroking his tongue along mine possessively as his arms encircled my body, holding me tightly against him.
"I love you." He murmured, when he finally pulled away, leaving me breathless.
"I love you." I smiled, taking the keys from him.
Returning about ten minutes later, I found Lissa and Mia helping to unload our luggage from the bus and opened the trunk to start putting our stuff in.
"Hey Mia!" I smiled, jogging over to give her a hug.
"Hey! I'm glad you guys are finally home. It's been boring around here." She giggled. "Well, except for me and Ivan of course." She added.
"Things are good with him?" I prodded as Lissa and I carried one of our suitcases to the SUV.
"Amazing." She smiled.
We continued to lug our stuff off the bus and made sure to leave a clear path for the guys as they continued to unload their equipment.
"Once we empty the bus of all our belongings, we need to clean the inside." Lissa relayed as Ivan headed our way.
"Garbage bags." He offered for the bits and crap left on the bus.
"Thanks, Ivan. It's good to see you." I replied, hugging him as well.
Ivan offered Stan some lunch and led him inside as we continued the task at hand. I needed help to lift the other suitcase into Dimitri's car, but we soon had all our stuff loaded. Ivan had driven Lissa's car and parked it in his back lot, making it easier than having to get a cab home.
Mia helped Lissa to put her and Christian's bags in the trunk while Eddie and Mason were getting a ride home later from Ivan, so their bags were loaded into Ivan's truck bed. Their new amplifiers, that Dimitri had gifted them for Christmas were waiting in the bar and Mia was sure they would have some kind of jam session to try them out.
We put the bunk sheets in one garbage bag, with plans to wash them, before collecting garbage, wrappers and cans and bottles from drinks. When the bus was clear of all garbage and debris, we wiped down each surface with disinfectant wipes before Ivan brough out a cordless vacuum cleaner for us to use on the carpeted bits.
"Thanks, you guys, that saves me a lot of hassle." Stan stated, as he emerged from the back door of the bar after lunch.
"We made the mess, Stan, it's only right that we should clean it." Lissa replied.
"Well, don't worry about washing the floor, I'll do that when I do the final clean up." He added.
"Have you heard anything about that Kirova woman?" Lissa asked, tying off a bag of garbage.
"The lawyer told me she's making a deal, will have to serve like four years for attempted arson." He shared. "But it would probably have been less if it were not for the fact that I was on the bus, then they wouldn't have gotten her with attempted murder too." He added.
"I can't believe that." Mia interjected. "How people can sink so low when they don't get what they want." She clarified. We all nodded in agreement. A silent understanding seemed to palpitate in the air as I'm sure others were thinking about Tasha as well and her actions.
Before a final parting 'goodbye' with Stan, we got the guys back outside to get a final photo of all of us in front of the bus, including Stan. Even though he tried to decline.
Lissa made a few quick edits in terms of lighting and shared it on the bands official Instagram with the tag, '#Home'.
We stood waving as Stan drove off, for the last time.
"The guys are going to try out their new amps." Dimitri grinned, turning to me.
"I'm going home, I'll take the car." I replied. "You have fun with the boys." I encouraged, leaning up to kiss him.
"I love you, Roza." He smirked, cupping my cheek, and kissing me sweetly.
"I love you, too, Comrade." I giggled, as he cupped my ass, and leaned down to peck my lips one more time.
"Rose, have lunch with us first." Mia requested. "I have gossip." She grinned.
"Fine, but not too long, I'm so tired." I shared.
Sitting at a table, Mia brought out those amazing salads with grilled chicken before taking a seat and digging in as well.
"So, what's the gossip?" Lissa pressed after we'd eaten quietly for almost ten minutes.
"Adrian is dating someone." She giggled.
"No, really?" I asked in surprise. "Who?"
"Well, he thinks he's keeping it, you know, on the DL, but I saw them out back, making out against his car when I took out the garbage." She smirked.
"Who is it?" I pressed again.
"Sydney." She smiled.
"Sydney from the café we love, that Sydney?" I asked in surprise.
"That's right." Mia grinned. "She'd come in one night after you guys mentioned this place to her." Mia explained. "I talked with her a bit and she told me about the café, that's how she knew you." She added.
"Are they good together?" Lissa interjected.
"They seem to be. She seems to balance his flirtiness. She's a lot more calm and he's so so…" Mia couldn't find the word.
"Irritating?" I supplied, earning a small laugh from the two of them.
"You know what I mean. He's always been a flirt, but she's good with him, I swear." Mia replied. "But he won't admit it yet." She added sadly.
"Shit, I hope he doesn't fuck it up before it can go anywhere." I stated. "Why won't he admit it?" I asked, diving back into my roast chicken and salad.
"I don't know for sure, but I suspect it's more of, if he admits it, it's 'real'. You know how some guys are about commitment." She finished.
"Then maybe we have to out it for them." I snickered. "Is she coming to the show on Friday?" I asked, sipping from my water.
"Yes, I suggested she come as that's the guys return show, and Adrian will let her in the door, for sure."
"Good. We'll help him." I grinned.
~VA BTTS VA~
Friday night had finally arrived and it was the guys' coming home show. Dimitri had been teasing a new song they were going to perform. I knew it was the one he was working on late that night we were home for the trial. Lissa and I still were not allowed to hear it until they did it live, but the excitement in their faces was adorable.
During the few days leading up to tonight's show, they'd been rehearsing in the studio. While they were busy with that, I went with Lissa to see Dr. Olendski.
After another x-ray, she was thrilled with the progress of how my arm was healing and agreed to remove the cast but I would have to wear a supportive brace. But at least I would have a lot more mobility. Plus, I could wear the brace in the shower without having to worry about covering it up. The next best thing was I could wear long sleeved shirts again, and put the brace over it.
Currently, we were getting ready to head to the bar, but Dimitri and the guys were already there for soundcheck. We were planning on meeting them for dinner beforehand.
I was in the middle of a shower when an idea came to me. When I emerged, Lissa was doing her make-up in the mirror on my dresser.
"Hey, Liss." I called.
"Hmmmm…" She mumbled while applying her lipstick.
"I wanna do something for tonight." I smirked. "The set-up is similar to the night we met. Meeting them for dinner, right?" I smirked when she seemingly clued in.
"You're going to wear the same pleather skirt and maroon V-neck top, aren't you?" She grinned. I nodded in confirmation.
After helping me to get ready, we walked down to the bar. Instead of going in the back door, we rounded the building to the front, similar to the night of our first meeting, where Adrian stood in position at the door.
He smiled flirtatiously. "Hey, little hottie." He grinned.
"Hi Adrian." I simpered. "How's your girlfriend? Sydney?" I pressed. He shut up immediately but smiled to himself. He liked the sound of that. Now that he realized it, I hoped he didn't keep her a secret from everyone else anyore.
"We're on the list." Lissa interjected.
"Alright," He murmured, letting us pass.
We checked our coats and as we turned around, Lissa spotted Christian. She waved as we headed over.
"I need food. I'm starving." I grumbled, sliding into the same horseshoe shaped booth.
It literally felt like I was reliving that first night meeting Dimitri, as Mason and Eddie were in their same spots in the booth, along with Lissa and Christian.
"Dimitri's signing some papers for the restaurant." Christian relayed as Eddie pushed a menu towards me.
"Thank you." I smiled as I looked over my choices. I felt the seat shift next to me when Dimitri finally slid in.
"Hey Russian Sex God!" I greeted loudly, causing everyone to laugh and my Comrade to blush.
"Did you have to yell it like that?" He chuckled as his eyes raked over my body and ensemble.
"See something you like?" I teased.
"This looks familiar." He smiled knowingly, fingering my top and peaking at the top of my breasts. I grabbed his hand and slipped it between my thighs.
"Thought we could re-live some of those moments from our first meeting, Comrade." I grinned as he slid his hand up further, his fingers skimming along my panties.
"Green room? Later?" He murmured, nuzzling my neck.
"Of course. Only this time, I won't be just sucking your cock." I whispered as his lips sucked on the underside of my ear, leaving his indelible mark. He finally pulled away, a smirk on his face, as Mia approached, setting down our typical pitcher of beer, glasses and Lissa's choice white wine.
Ordering that delicious burger and the half pound wings for us to share, Dimitri did the same, another thing that was identical from our first night. The only unexpected moment was how I still managed to have a bit of grease drip from my burger, down my chin and make a threatening trail down to my cleavage.
Dimitri chuckled when he noticed, and instead of grabbing a napkin, he leaned forward and licked the trail from the apex of my bust up my neck before finally using a napkin to dab at my lips.
"Thanks, Comrade." I giggled, taking the last bite.
"More?" He asked, lifting the pitcher of beer. I nodded while chewing and he poured.
"You want my pickle?" I offered, picking it up and waving it at him. Leaning forward, he took the whole thing into his mouth and chewed, sending another wink my way. The action made me snicker, just imagining what we could do in the green room later.
"Jesus." Eddie interjected. "Watching you two eat is like fucking foreplay." He joked, but he wasn't entirely wrong. We knew exactly what we were doing to one another as I giggled, looking at Dimitri. He smiled, knowingly.
Mason and Eddie had been excited with their new amps and were going to check their equipment. There was still an hour and a half until their show. Christian and Lissa seemed to disappear as well.
"I need to use the restroom." I smiled coyly. "I'll meet you in the green room?" I simpered.
"I'll lock the door leading to the stage." He grinned, helping me unstick my pleather skirt from the leather of the booth so I could stand.
"Make a note, no leather in the restaurant. Velvet." I grinned.
"Noted, Roza." He smiled, kissing my hand as he strutted down the hallway.

I really did have to use the washroom. Drinking beer will do that to you. But it gave me the opportunity to adjust the 'girls' and remove my panties completely. While I wanted to re-live some of those infamous moments from the night we met, I also wanted to change them up a bit. I stuffed my lace panties into my small purse and headed to the green room.
Dimitri was reclined on the couch, eyes closed and I saw the smirk appear on his face. "No ear pods this time, Comrade." I murmured quietly to myself as I grinned, closing the door. The lock clicked into place with a loud 'clink'. Toeing off my shoes, and setting my purse down, I sauntered over and straddled him.
"Hey, Comrade." I greeted; his hands moved to my backside immediately.
"Roza." He smiled. "What would you like to do first, milaya?" He teased, slipping his hand under my skirt. I laughed when he realized I'd already removed my panties.
"I came prepared." I giggled. That laughing ceased the moment his fingers entered me and his thumb rubbed over my clit. "Fuck." I murmured, thrusting against his hand.
"Come for me, Roza." He coaxed as my hands gripped his arm. The lack of a cast allowed me to do that now.
Tilting my head back, I rocked over his hand as he started thrusting faster while curling his fingers just right. "I'm coming." I cried, leaning forward and pressing my forehead to his. Dimitri's eyes watched me as I came down from the high while he slipped his fingers between his lips, tasting me.
"Your turn." I giggled, grabbing the same pillow and tossing it on the floor between his spread legs.
Dimitri pulled off his shirt and tossed it beside him as I unbuckled his pants and slid the zipper down while palming his cock.
"Roza," He growled as he lifted his hips, allowing me to tug his pants and boxer briefs down to his ankles.
Wasting no time, I took him into my mouth, deep throating him. His hips jutted off the couch as I felt him hit the back of my throat. He groaned loudly as his hand trailed through my hair.
"Fuck, Roza." He growled, biting his lip as I watched him, watching me.
My hand stroked him slowly, as I sucked harder at the head. "Come 'ere." He purred, helping me to stand. "We didn't get to do this last time." He smiled, lifting my shirt over my head.
"Wait, I have to take off my brace to take off my shirt." I explained as I snickered.
Once the brace was back in place, Dimitri leaned forward and sucked a nipple between his lips. "That feels good." I moaned as he moved to the other nipple, his hand palming my other breast sensually.
Reaching between us, I gripped his cock and started stroking him slowly. "Baby, I want to be inside you." He murmured, lifting me up as I guided his cock between my folds and slowly lowering myself over him.
"Dimitri, oh! You feel so good." I moaned, rocking my hips over him slowly.
"Put your hands on my shoulders." He instructed as his settled on my hips. "Hold on." He smirked.
The next thing I knew he was pounding into me from below and I couldn't stop the sounds of pleasure from erupting as I gasped, moaned, and cried out in ecstasy. "Fuck, Dimitri." I panted, thrusting down as he thrust up.
"Come for me, Roza." He urged as I leaned forward, pressing my lips to his.
No matter how many times we screw, fuck or make love, he always kisses me with such reverence and tenderness. His lips were moving with mine in a slow dance but his hips were moving so fast and I could feel the orgasm approaching.
"I'm going to come." I cried, breaking from his lips.
Moving one hand, Dimitri rubbed at my clit and seconds later my hips stilled as the rush of pleasure flooded through me. Dimitri didn't stop moving and grunted as he came moments later, releasing himself inside of me.
"Fuck, Roza." He panted as I leaned forward and cuddled against him. We sat in silence for a few moments, trying to catch our breath when I started giggling.
"What is so funny?" He asked as I sat up slightly to look at him, a smirk on his lips.
"We definitely didn't do that the first time we met." I smiled, slowly and reluctantly climbing from his lap.
"Ahhh, memories." He joked, tugging his boxer briefs and jeans back up. "You know what else we didn't do the night we met?" He posed.
"What?"
"I didn't tell you; I love you, my Roza. Always." He relayed; all laughter gone, as he pulled me into his embrace.
"I love you, my Comrade." I smiled, reaching up on my tip toes to kiss him sweetly.
After straightening up the couch, and the rest of the cushions. I headed to the bathroom to clean myself up. Once I was redressed and had secured my shirt and brace back on my wrist, we unlocked the door that led to the stage and left through the other door. My purse strapped across me and Dimitri's hand firmly in mine as he led me down the hall.
They had a half hour until show time and everyone gathered at the side of the stage before heading to the green room for a final pre-show pep talk. A server followed with a tray of Vodka shots. A usual pre-show ritual for the guys but Lissa and I didn't usually join in, leaving it for the guys. But we would partake tonight.
"While we may not have wanted to do this tour, we have a lot of fond memories from the road." Dimitri started as his arm slid around my waist. "It was made even more special with my Roza, and Lissa along for the ride." He smiled warmly. "So, here's to no more tours! As we are finally, finally back to the start." He called, lifting his shot from the tray. We all did the same before shouting a 'Hurrah!' and downing the liquid.
"Shit, that's your gasoline, isn't it?" Mason interjected, wiping at his mouth.
"Of course." Dimitri smiled. "All that crap Vodka I've been having on tour doesn't compare to the real stuff." He shared as I pulled him down to press my lips to his.
"Good luck, Comrade." I grinned, smacking his ass. He just smiled and cupped my cheek, kissing me back, sweetly.
Heading to the stage, we waited at the side as Ivan got the crowed excited and amped up for the guys return to the stage. It was nice to see them all smiling and really excited for tonight.
Lissa and I stayed where we were as they took their places. "Give it up, for 'Stakes of Fire'!" Ivan introduced before jogging off the stage after setting the microphone in the stand for Dimitri.
"How you guys doing tonight?" He called, getting them riled up. "We've been a little busy the past three months." He smiled. "But, we're finally home, and we've saved the best for last." He finished, as Christian counted them in.
Lissa and I danced along, like always, making sure to take lots of photos and Lissa even went live on Instagram a few times. When they were just about to start the next song, I looked passed the dance floor and saw someone I did not expect, waving erratically at me.
"I'll be back." I said to Lissa, moving towards the stairs.
"Rose? Where are you going?" She asked.
"My mother is here." I shared, pointing behind the dance area.
"Shit." She murmured and I laughed as I wiggled my way through the crowd.
"Janine." I stated. "What are you doing here?" I asked, arms crossed. The brace allowed me to do that too, now.
"I wanted to see what kind of life you've made for yourself." She stated snottily.
"Better than yours." I retorted.
"Excuse me?" She asked, all offended.
"Let's go outside, it's too loud in here." I suggested as she walked ahead of me.
Looking towards the stage, I caught Dimitri's eye and pointed to my mother. He nodded, but looked concerned, like he always does. But I wouldn't expect anything less from him. He would always worry about me. Just as I would him.
"So?" I prodded, once outside.
"What are you doing, Rosemarie?" She stated in irritation and clear disappointment.
"What do you mean, exactly?" I replied. "What are you doing?" I echoed.
"You're a groupie to a rock band. A common slut." She insulted.
"At least I'm not headed for divorce." I spat back. Her mouth gaped open and closed for a few moments like a fish. I don't think she expected me to know.
"That's none of your business." She shouted, pointing her finger in my face.
"And my life, is none of your business." I exclaimed. "You practically ran me down with a truck in that restaurant at the hotel, but you didn't back up over me. You earn a little credit for that." I stated sarcastically.
"Rosemarie," She interjected. "Don't be so over dramatic." She huffed.
"Me, over dramatic? Never." I stated sarcastically. "But, just so I'm clear, should I put that truck in gear so you can reverse over me, killing any relationship between us for good?" I shouted.
"You're ruining your life!" She screamed.
Turning around, I walked back into the bar and let Adrian know to ban her from being allowed entry. She tried to follow and thankfully, he stood in her way, denying her access.
I rejoined Lissa at the side of the stage, wiping a few tears off my cheeks. Dimitri noticed, I know he did, but I put on a smile and clapped along with the song.
There will never be a day when I will understand why my mother can't be human. Show me any sort of love, respect or understanding. So why would I show her any?
"You, okay?" Lissa prodded. I nodded. "How'd it go?" She added.
"Just the usual. You're a slut, you're ruining your life. Same 'ol, same 'ol." I shared.
When they were just about at the end of the show, I turned to Lissa.
"I thought they had a new song for tonight?" I posed.
"The encore maybe?" She suggested and I nodded in agreement.
"Thank you, everyone you're always our favourite crowd." Dimitri complimented as he took a moment to drink a bottle of water in like five seconds while the fans continued screaming for them. "Tonight's final number is the debut of a new song, and we felt it was fitting for our fans from home to hear it first." He smiled. "You were our first." He added.
The guitar started first before Dimitri's voice rang out and I felt the goosebumps at the sound of his voice.
Baby if you could would you go back to the start?
Take any fresh steps or watch it all fall apart again?
I danced along to the beat and couldn't take my eyes off of him.
Play another song here, then you can leave
With your delicate wings, I used to weave
Maybe there's an undertow here
Or maybe this is stuck up in the air
I know how it looks but all that glitters ain't gold
Christian was wailing on his drums and Lissa smiled and clapped excitedly as Dimitri winked my way. All thoughts of my mother and our encounter at the back of my mind.
You gave me magical; I gave you wonderful
Cut that invisible cord or I'll starve you of
What's understandable
Let's make immeasurable moves to the left
Or the right but not central
Dimitri moved a lot around the stage, moving in close to Eddie and singing his heart out before doing the same with Mason while they sang back up vocals.
'Cause you gave me magical; I gave you wonderful
Cut that invisible cord or I'll starve you of
What's understandable
Let's make immeasurable moves to the left
Or the right but not central
'Cause you gave me magical
I gave you wonderful
Let's make this biblical
And hang from our invisible cords
Baby if you could would you go back to the start?
Take any fresh steps or watch it all fall apart, again?
It could have been a wonderful year
Instead we might not make it to the end
Everybody cares, but nobody knows
Dimitri's eyes met mine as I swayed along, a teary smile on my face at how amazing he was. The excitement he showed when performing was so sexy and I couldn't wait to get him alone.
You gave me magical; I gave you wonderful
Cut that invisible cord or I'll starve you of
What's understandable
Let's make immeasurable moves to the left
Or the right but not central
'Cause you gave me magical; I gave you wonderful
Cut that invisible cord or I'll starve you of
What's understandable
Let's make immeasurable moves to the left
Or the right but not central
During the rest of his performance, Dimitri kept looking at me, winking and smiling. He even grabbed a water bottle, emptied it over himself and the front row before tossing it and jumping around and writhing on the floor at Eddie's feet as the guys sang back up, once more.
'Cause you gave me magical
I gave you wonderful
Let's make this biblical
And hang from our invisible cords
You gave me magical
I gave you wonderful
Let's make this biblical
And hang from our invisible cords
Leaning into to Eddie, they shared Dimitri's microphone in the final moments of the song.
Baby how can you walk away?
Baby how can you walk away?
Baby how can you walk away?
Baby how can you walk away?
Baby how can you walk away?
Baby how can you walk away?
Baby how can you walk away?
Baby how can you walk away?
Baby if you could would you go back to the start?
Take any fresh steps or watch it all fall apart, again?
The crowd went wild when they finished. Christian stood from his drum kit and joined Dimitri, along with Mason and Eddie as they took a final bow together before heading our way.
"Roza." He called, before I could follow the others back to the green room.
"That was amazing, Comrade." I grinned as he wrapped his arms around me.
"You know what else is amazing?" He teased. "One day, I'm going to marry you." He confessed, leaning down to kiss me before leading us off stage.
I was a little dumbstruck. "Comrade, that wasn't the proposal, right?"
"No, Roza. Trust me, when I propose, you'll know it, milaya." He grinned, tugging me against his side.
Once we were away from the screaming crowd, Dimitri pulled me into a corner. "Are you okay?" He asked with concern, cupping my cheeks. "What did she say to you?" He pressed.
I summarized my sort of conversation with my mother and it clearly bothered him, more than me. But Dimitri was used to knowing nothing but love and adoration from his mother, so the fact that mine was the polar opposite of that, seemed to enrage him.
"She's not worth your anger, Comrade." I tried to calm him.
"I know. I know, milaya." He replied, hugging me close. "But I hate how much she hurts you." He admitted. "And she knows damn well she is."
"I'm okay, though. You know why?" I teased, thinking back to another memory shared here at the bar.
"Why?" He smiled, running his fingers across my cheek and down through my hair.
"Because, I get to love you." I giggled. He threw his head back and laughed, knowing I was referring to their going away on tour party.
"I get to love you too, Roza." He smirked. "It's the best thing that I'll ever do." He added, quoting the lyrics.

My physio therapy would start next week, but it was really nice to be able to use my hand more. I think Dimitri actually missed having showers together so much as I didn't need him to wash my hair as often. But sometimes, I would feign tiredness just so I could ask him. The happy smile that covered his face was infections and I would giggle as he chased me into the bathroom.
For now, we were cuddled up on the couch, and I watched from beside him as he worked on a sort of 'mock menu' on his MacBook with possible food ideas for the restaurant.
"You're going to have steak, right?" I interrupted.
Dimitri laughed. "Yes, Roza. I know what you love." He grinned
"You know what the bar doesn't have that could be nice is various pasta dishes." I added.
"I thought of that, but I don't want the stereotypical spaghetti or lasagne." He admitted.
"So do something different, like a creamy pesto sauce with shrimp and mushrooms or some fancy shit." I giggled. "Sorry, I don't know what goes with what, I just eat it." I shared.
"I love you, milaya." He smiled. "But yes, that's a good idea, a pesto, a cream sauce, maybe a rosé sauce." He winked, shrugging his eyebrows suggestively.
"Is that a joke about my name." I argued, jokingly as he set his lap top down on the coffee table.
"Well, it's not like there are any food dishes that are called 'Dimitri'." He laughed.
"You know, we should have a 'Romitri' special." I suggested.
"Yeah, what would that consist of?" He asked, resting his head on the couch behind him as I looked into his eyes.
"Well, something romantic, that means something to us. Right?" I suggested.
"That would be fitting." He agreed, as I slipped my hand into his, lacing our fingers together.
"So, two grilled burgers with everything, and a half pound of wings." I smiled, laughing at the shocked look on his face.
"Served with a pitcher of pilsner and two glasses." He added, a cute smile on his lips.
"Of course. Or a few shots of real Vodka." I amended, cuddling into his side.
"That's kind of our thing though, isn't it?" He smirked. "The burgers, and wings."
"Yeah, one without a pickle though. Gotta make it accurate." I snickered.
"You're so fucking adorable, I love you." He smiled, leaning over and nipping at my neck. But his lips were more so tickling me, than kissing me.
"Comrade?" I murmured, when he finally pulled away. "Dimitri," I paused. "Take me to bed." I seduced.
"What do I get out of it?" He teased, making me slap his arm as I stood from the couch while trying to pull him up as well, with no luck.
"You'll get some words of wisdom, and this hot body." I shared, gesturing to my boobs and ass.
"What words would those be?" He smirked, finally standing.
"Sweet, sassy, molassy?" I grinned, running down the hall to our bedroom.
He was close behind and a trail of our clothes littered the hallway.
~VA BTTS VA~
When we first met that night at 'The Academy', I never knew what would happen. What would become of that first night or how much I would love this man and how much he would love me.
The tour seemed like a wrench in everything and in some ways, it was, because of Christian and Eddie essentially losing their jobs, but it was amazing in so many other ways. Although, we'd never admit that to Tasha.
A lot of people involved, got hurt or arrested due to choices they made, but the common denominator in all of it was me and Dimitri. Their choices were because of us in some way, but it wasn't like we asked for it and that didn't sit well with me.
When Christian told us about Tasha hurting herself, it actually made me feel sorry for her. As much as we despised her actions and waned retribution, we never sought something like that. I really hoped she could recover. But mentally, it was hard to say if she could ever come back from that.
But here we are now and life is better. It seems that everything that was a major problem has been settled. At least I hoped so. In the back of my mind, I would always worry that there was something hiding, lurking in the darkness. Waiting to strike.
Isn't that the way it is though? You feel safe for only so long before another threat makes itself known?
Finally, being home, here with Dimitri as I lay in his arms after making love, again, I was thankful for everything. The new friends I'd made and new relationships formed. There were still unresolved things, like my relationship with my parents. I don't know how to even start trying to mend that.
I also was worried because, I don't know that I wanted to mend things. How can you fix a relationship with someone like Janine Hathaway-Mazur, when that relationship was never anything but hateful and full of jealousy on her part?
Turning over in bed, I cuddled closer to Dimitri as my mind continued its foray into the past six months or so. His arm instinctually wrapped around me, holding me closer as I rested my head in the crook of his neck. But no matter how hard I tried, my mind still went back to the past.
I smiled to myself when I thought about how we'd sort of come full circle. Being home, here with Dimitri was the first, fresh step needed and now we could go back to the start.

The End?
Song: "Biblical" by Biffy Clyro
Performed by Danila Kozlovsky in his 2016 film, "Friday" (aka 'Pyatnitsa', 'Пятница')
Author's Note:
The ENTIRE fan fiction that is this story was inspired simply, by Danila Kozlovsky performing that song, "Biblical", in his film, "Friday", which I got to see because in US and Canada, it is streaming for free on TUBI.
The chapter titles were taken from the song lyrics as well and I couldn't wait to finally reveal the song inspiration for this story. It's why Dimitri was a musician, just so I could feature this song.
There is a video clip of Danila performing this in the film, on YouTube. I WILL BE SHARING IT on my social media so you can see it in full. We all know links are not ffdotnet friendly, it's why I have SM accounts.
There will NOT be an epilogue for this as I'm planning to write a sequel. There is a lot more in the next phase of their life. This first part was about the tour and the hinderances that came with it.
Part 2, the sequel will delve into the restaurant's creation, planning, Rose's birthday, their trip to the cabin Dimitri gifted Rose at Christmas, not to mention whether or not things between Rose and her parents will ever really be mended and will Tasha ever get better, mentally, or is it a lost cause.
And finally, I also have that other little story, 'The Commute', to work on. Not to mention too many plot bunnies to not work on others as well.
Thank you to everyone who favourited, followed, commented/reviewed, I appreciate the support and your words mean a lot to me!
Please, please, please, leave me some thoughts on this final chapter and what you hope to see in the sequel that maybe wasn't covered here.
Much Love!
MAMB
