Naruto was walking to his compound when he met up with Hinat and Sakura. He told them that he had keyed them into the seals on the gate, and that if Sakura wanted to, she could move in. Hinata had told him that her father was free to meet him today. Sakura said that she had to go to the hospital and bid them goodbye as she ran off to the hospital.

When Naruto had entered the Hyūga compound with Hinata and saw that all eyes were on him. Apparently, word had gotten around the compound that Naruto had asked Hinata to help rebuild his clan. Hinata had led him to a room and opened the door, revealing Hiashi and the Hyūga elders sitting Indian style and two open seats for them. They sat down, closing the door behind them.

"Hello Namikaze-Uzumaki-san," said a Hyūga elder. Naruto nodded his head to the Hyūga elder.

"So, Naruto-san," Naruto interrupted Hiashi.

"Just Naruto Hiashi-san," said Naruto with a smile, "You were a great friend to my father, a read his journal and he considered as a friend, not a clan head."

"Alright Naruto, so you practically asked my daughter to marry you before coming us, what do you have to say for yourself," said Hiashi.

"Hiashi-san, I technically just asked her to date me, nothing else," Naruto said with a smile.

"You insolent little brat, you asked her to rebuild your clan, you basically asked her to marry you!" yelled one of the Hyūga elders.

"We aren't at the marriage part yet," Naruto said as he held Hinata's hand, "If I do plan on asking her, I will gladly come to you Hiashi-san and ask you for her hand."

"What's with this bird Hinata has on her shoulder, is it from you?" questioned a Hyūga elder.

"Nagisa is a gift from me to Hinata, she reminded me some much of Hinata during my travels," said Naruto.

"And your fox?" asked the elder.

"He was my personal summon until the Kitsune summoning clan forced me to have around me twenty-four/seven," Naruto said as he patted Kai's head, "As I am the only person now who can give their children chakra blessings which will allow them to survive, it's what all summoners must do for this clan, actually, there is a new litter of kits coming soon, I can take you and Sakura with me Hinata, if you want to come?" asked Naruto.

"Uh," Hinata looked at her father who gave a nod and she nodded to Naruto, "Sure."

"That's great," Naruto said, "If you are going to keep on questioning me like this then I will just leave, I have to get ready for the test for my genin, thank you Hiashi-san for inviting me, see you later Hinata-chan," Naruto kissed her on the lips and left the Hyūga Compound, leaving a blushing Hinata.

"Hinata, I thought you had that boy under control, if he continues-" the elder was cut off by Hiashi.

"That man is the head of his clan and a such you must respect him," Hiashi snapped, "Come Hinata." Then he got up with Hinata and left.

Naruto and Kai were walking to his compound when Shikamaru stopped him.

"Hey, Naruto, do you know a vet?" asked Shikamaru as he was panting.

"Why? Your right next door to the Inuzuka compound, isn't Hana-san there?" asked Naruto.

"No, she on a mission right now," said Shikamaru.

"Could you tell me the reason why you need a vet?" asked Naruto.

"One of our deer started to act very violent, it started to kick everyone that came near it," said Shikamaru.

"Well, I'm a vet, I got my certification in Dōbutsu no Kuni (Land of Animals), so I should be able to help," said Naruto, then he and Shikamaru ran to the Nara Compound.

While Naruto was running through the Nara Compound with Shikamaru and Kai, he saw members of the clan holding ice packs to different parts of their bodies. They all had hoof prints everywhere. When he reached the area with the deer, he saw it trying to kick Shikaku, who he pulled away before he was kicked in the face by the deer.

"Shikaku-san, that's not very smart, he seems very angry, you should tell your clan members not to come near them," said Naruto.

"Naruto-san what are you doing here?" asked Shikaku.

"Well, Shikamaru said that you needed a vet, Hana-san isn't here so I came, don't go near him, he seems aggravated," said Naruto.

"Naruto what can you tell?" asked Shikamaru.

"His eyes, they look as if something is controlling him," said Naruto, "He might have smelt or eaten something before causing him to go crazy."

Naruto opened a scroll and unsealed a box that had a couple different plants of a colors, Naruto took out a green fern looking plant before sealing it all away. Naruto went up to the deer, grabbed it by the horns and pulled it to the ground, surprising all their present clan members that he got this close. He shoved the plant into the deer's mouth, and it slipped into unconscious. Naruto could smell an oder that smelt like a cross between strawberries and pickles, making his nose crinkle up in disgust, not from the smell, but from a plant that he recognized as it causes animals or anything that eats it in general to attack anything it see.

"What did you feed it Naruto?" asked Shikamaru.

"A plant Ochitsukuberry, it's a plant that calms down any animal and makes it go to sleep," said Naruto, "Someone did this deliberately."

"What Naruto-san?" questioned Shikaku.

"I smelt something coming from the animal, it's plant called Sårechufu, it makes animals go crazy if they consume it" explained Naruto, "Someone deliberately made your deer attack you using a plant, you should take this to Hokage-sama, I have to go and prepare for my genins little test."

"Are you doing the Team 7 traditional test?" asked Shikaku.

"What's that?" asked Shikamaru.

"The test is for each genin to take one of the two bells from there to-be teacher within a set time limit in order to pass, normally until noon. Since there are three students, it would seem that one of them will be sent back to the Academy no matter what," explained Naruto, "This is actually a ruse to test if they can use teammate work, if they ignore the fact that only two bells are available and be willing to work together, they might have enough skills to take the bells, and be allowed to pass. Because the jonin is usually too strong for the genin to beat in any way, shape, or form, the true test is the genin's ability to work as a team and as such, the jonin has to give them just enough allowance so they can't obtain the bell without teamwork."

"That's smart, but to troublesome," said Shikamaru.

"Anyways, thank you Naruto-san, and we will notify Hokage-sama about this as you seem to say that someone deliberately decided to do this," said Shikaku, then Naruto waved goodbye the two Nara and walked back to the Namikaze-Uzumaki Compound.
