Shanghai
The Chinese mayor spoke in front of a large audience about his new plans. "On women's empowerment, by providing women more opportunities to start their own businesses and expanding the range of child welfare. We can provide solutions to sexual and authority harassment." The mayor soon realized his security detail was missing and that he was alone on the stage. Mon-El emerged from the shadows.
"I'm going to be abducting you today," Mon smiled.
"Oh, God!" the mayor realized as they teleported away.
Mon and the mayor were now under a bridge in the same city near a park. "What is this?" the mayor asked fearfully.
"Nothing complicated, just keeping you as a hostage...and bait," Mon explained.
The mayor then jumped out of the way as a heat vision beam sliced between them. Mon turned to see Kong in his red Superman suit. "I was able to sense you teleporting someone with my super-hearing," Kong said proudly. "I'm going to teach you a lesson."
"What a funny thing to say to an Insane man. You can try," Mon said unimpressed.
Kong zipped around Mon in circles and then went for a heat vision attack. In the smoke, Kong fired more heat vision beams only for Mon to appear behind him and place him in a headlock. Desperate, Kong fired heat vision at the ground directly underneath them to create an inferno. Mon released Kong and escaped the blaze. With his falcon vision, Kong looked for Mon only to see nothing in the flames and smoke. Mon suddenly kicked Kong across the concrete floor where he bounced a bit until he reached the cowering mayor.
Kong got to his feet quickly only for Mon to already be on him. Mon punched Kong hard in the gut, dropping him. "Thanks for entertaining me," Mon mocked.
Meanwhile, hundreds of Mon clones appeared around Shanghai. They fired on the buildings causing the entire downtown area to fall killing hundreds of thousands of people instantly. All the buildings surrounding the Oriental Tower collapsed. Mon teleported Kong to the Oriental Tower so he could see the damage.
"Holy shit," Kong realized.
"What a splendid sight. I destroyed all that but don't feel a bit of remorse. Sacrifices must be made for the sake of world domination. The secret behind my positivity is I never gave a fuck about how humans feel. I've lived my life up till now exactly as I wanted. Everything will work out as long as I count on myself. I've decided to take over China my way even if it's by myself. The world is already in my hands," Mon said to Kong.
"I see great potential within you, but you need to obtain unimpassioned audacious positivity. Then, you can be more like me," Mon said to him.
"I could never be like you," Kong spat.
Mon backhanded Kong to the ground below. He shattered a building on impact. Mon teleported to Kong's position. "You sure you won't change your mind if I hurt you a bit more?"
"I won't let anyone take away my ability to have a fun life!" Kong shouted at him.
"Wow, what the fuck? Guess you might not be a good fit after all," Mon said disappointed. "In that case," he said as he raised his index finger to Kong's head for a kill-shot.
A sudden shield hit Mon in the head drawing blood. "Someone...actually hit me?" he wondered.
"We will repay you for what you've done," Wonder Woman said to him. Bat-man, and Dragonson also arrived on the scene. Dragonson was a Chinese man with Aquaman powers.
"You, humans, have gained artificial powers through science. Instead of mice, you're now rats. All the same, I'll fry you all," Mon said to them.
"Don't act so tough. We know you're panicking," Wonder Woman told him off.
Mon teleported away so that he was surrounded by them. "With so many opponents, you'll reach your limit," Kong said confidently. "I'll be getting my revenge."
Wonder Woman slashed at Mon with her whip. Mon took hold of the whip, pulled Wonder Woman to him, and then tore through the broken building with her. Dragonson fired a beam from his trident at them both. Mon teleported out of the way so that only Wonder Woman was hit. Mon then teleported behind Dragonson and kicked him down the street.
"Not happening," Kong said as he fired heat vision on Mon and then engaged him. Mon evaded Kong and Wonder Woman's whip as Dragonson reentered the fight. Mon took hold of a traffic sign, ripped it out of the ground, and slammed Dragonson with it sending him down the street. Mon and Kong fought one-on-one as Bat-man looked for a shot with his pistol inside the broken building's second floor. Mon cast Kong aside, teleported to Bat-man's position, disarmed him, punched him to the face, and then kicked him off the ledge.
Water sprung up from the ground to create a water bubble. Mon teleported out of the water bubble easily and fired on concrete debris thrown at him by Kong. Bat-man swung down on Mon with his sword only to be humiliated when Mon stood on top of him. "The result won't change no matter how many of you there are," Mon mocked.
Dragonson and Kong fired beams at Mon at the same time from different directions. Mon teleported out of the way before they could hit him. "Attack more. We can figure out where he'll teleport to and finish him!" Kong said to the others from the air. Mon's clones around the city evaporated as Mon took the battle slightly more seriously.
Kong, Wonder Woman, Dragonson engaged Mon all at once with no impact. He took their blows and tossed them away with ease. Wonder Woman wrapped her lasso around a tanker, threw it at Mon, and then sliced the tank open creating a massive gas explosion. Within the explosion, Mon dropped Dragonson to the ground. Bat-man fired bullets at Mon which merely bounced off except for one that sliced his cheek.
"The attacks he doesn't expect actually do damage," Kong surmised. "You're the one cornered here," he said to Mon.
"Oh, really?" Mon doubted. He teleported next to Kong and slammed his face into a car window, teleported again, slammed Kong's face into a wall, teleported again, dropped Kong from a great height, and then kicked him hard midair into a skyscraper. Kong tumbled a bit inside the skyscraper busting up desks and other debris. Mon teleported inside the building and uppercut Kong through the ceiling and out the skyscraper roof.
Mon then teleported behind Kong and fired a beam. The beam went around Kong and completely destroyed the skyscraper. In the air, Mon beat the shit out of Kong with rapid punches and kicks. "I believe it's time to end things," Mon said as he continued his attacks.
Kong suddenly cupped Mon's fist keeping him in place. Mon teleported out of Kong's grip only for Kong to kick at him. "You may be able to read our moves but that makes your moves predictable...because we're predictable," Kong said impressed with his own wit.
"Damn, he's right," Mon realized.
"You're just an ordinary Insane man. Even I could beat you," Kong said confidently.
Kong gave Mon an uppercut and slammed him down toward the ground. In midair, Wonder Woman punched him several times in quick succession to his back. In the air, Dragonson rained down fire from his trident. As Mon hit the ground, Wonder Woman put her lasso around his midsection and slammed him into several buildings before releasing him. Bat-man rocketed into position, loaded up his fist, and punched Mon in the face sending him to the ground.
Mon went Super Insane and dropped all four of them instantly. "Nothing you can do will ever work on me," Mon said to them. "Your injuries, weaknesses, the ones you're not even aware of, and the fact that you can't even see my moves. I can see everything now. It's too late to have any regrets now. You're all fucked."
"Fight me, man-to-man," Kong challenged as he charged. Mon took hold of Kong and teleported them both to the top of the Oriental Tower.
"Don't make me laugh." Mon fired a shockwave blast that slammed Kong up against the wall. Kon fired heat vision on Mon. When that didn't seem to work, he blasted him with frost breath.
"These techniques are mere child's play," Mon mocked as he blasted the ice off him.
Kong powered up and unleashed a solar flare on Mon creating an explosion around them. "Hell, yeah. Justice prevails!" Kong said victoriously. Mon emerged unphased by the discharge. "Fuck, that was three months of saved-up energy."
"Let's stop fighting and take over the world together," Mon offered. "The reason I went around this world was to see if world domination was actually realistic. But, ultimately, I couldn't find a single human stronger than me in this world. I have the ultimate power."
"And that gives you the right to conquer the world?" Kong doubted.
"Yeah," Mon said nonchalantly.
"That's fucked up. You're fucked up," Kong accused.
"I was impressed by your last attack. You remind me of me. You say you were saving up for three months? I have the same ability. I guess it wouldn't hurt to show you," Mon smirked and then powered up his Super Insane aura. "This is the ultimate power."
"That's not true. People making up for others' deficiencies is the ultimate power," Kong countered.
"You're boring. You bore me," Mon said dismissively. "Even among Earth's superheroes, my powers far surpass them all. When I came to this realization, it appeared this world was in the palm of my hand. You live a boring life just as the powerless."
"You're wrong. There are far more unique people in this world than you think and just as many mindsets. No one should put a price on someone else's mindset," Kong said.
"You trying to take the moral high ground? Cuz, I'll gladly give it to you. I don't even want it," Mon mocked. "I have no need to rely on anyone to make up for my so-called deficiencies because I have the ability to steal, to use, and to rule. I don't even need the Japanese. My goal in life is to become stronger and to kill a certain bitch. I thought you might give me a decent warm-up, but it appears you're just a failure."
Kong fired a white beam to paralyze Mon in place. "Are you mad, bro? You're like a child," Mon mocked.
"Shut the fuck up," Kong said as he gave everything he had to keep Mon from moving.
"This is amusing. Show me everything you got," Mon challenged and then easily broke free of Kong's grip. In quick succession, Mon beat the shit out of Kong. "You have some nerve lecturing me while in such a sorry shape. You can't be serious."
Bat-man then pointed his pistol at Mon. "Release him or I'll shoot," he said seriously.
"You can't threaten me with that," Mon said dismissively. "I don't sense any power from you. Stay out of this if you want to live."
"Power level isn't the only thing that makes humans special. I can think of four contingency plans to defeat you," Bat-man said confidently.
"Oh, tell me," Mon said skeptically.
"The first...is brute strength!" Bat-man said and then punched Mon in the torso with no impact.
"How ridiculous. You put me in a foul mood," Mon said as he backed Bat-man toward a window of the observatory tower. He raised his hand and fired to incinerate him. As the smoke cleared, Wonder Woman was then with her shield.
Mon then noticed Kong get back up ready for action. "Those that don't understand other people's feelings...suck," Kong said lamely. "Sometimes, you need to be hurt to understand."
"I've been hurt more than you can imagine and I still...feel nothing," Mon told him off.
"Wonder Woman, take Bat-man away from here. Shit is about to get real," Kong said seriously.
"Like I'll allow that," Mon said as he fired again with an even more powerful blast. Kong got in between the beam and the two creating an explosion off the tower. Bat-man extended his glider while Wonder Woman landed gracefully on the ground.
"Disappear, disappear, disappear," Mon said as he fired randomly into the city.
Kong took hold of Mon and tore through the top floor of the tower. Mon elbow-slammed Kong back down to the previous level. Their fight collapsed the tower forcing them both into the air. Mon cast an energy bubble around Kong to keep him in place. Using all of his strength, Kong tore through the energy bubble freeing himself.
"This could get interesting," Mon smirked.
Mon fired continuous shots at Kong. The ones Kong managed to avoid fell on the city creating mass casualties. Kong was eventually hit. Mon kept it up with multiple hits. "Enjoying it, yet?" Mon asked amused. "As righteous as you sound, you're the same as me."
Mon kicked Kong hard to the ground. "Release the shackles. Fight without restraints," Mon said to him and then punched him across the city where he hit multiple buildings.
Kong rose back in the air to meet Mon. "I can't blame you for the mindset you have. You were just unlucky to be born Insane," he said condescendingly.
"The fuck you on about? You're all just a bunch of extras. I'll show you real power," Mon said as he went full-power Super Insane.
"You live without bonds. You live in solitude, the only one of your kind," Kong said of Mon.
"Are you...actually crying?" Mon asked incredulously.
"Yes, for you. I don't really want to hurt you," Kong said.
"Well, I can't say the same," Mon said and then whipped Kong around a few times before slamming him into the ground. Mon then powered up an energy bomb the size of a city district and threw it down upon Kong creating a nuclear-sized blast in the middle of Shanghai.
Mon then dropped to where Kong's unconscious body lay. "Wake up. I'm not done beating the shit out of you."
"No," Kong muttered.
"The fuck you just say to me?" Mon wondered.
"I admit it. I'm not as strong as you. I don't have the power to show you the path of peace and love," Kong said condescendingly.
"What is this shit?" Mon asked irritably. He fired several discs at Kong to slice him up. Kong tried to defend himself only to get blasted down to the ground. A large handprint the size of a city district appeared in the ground. Mon fired on Kong again blasting him to the subway level. Mon powered up to Super Insane 2, teleported to the subway level and continued the battle.
Kong attempted to defend himself, but every block twisted and broke his limbs on impact. Mon powered up his aura for a thermonuclear-sized attack. "Everyone, run!" Kong said as he realized what was happening. Kong then approached Mon and went through his aura to clutch him tightly.
"Fuck you doing?" Mon asked confused.
"To do my best to contain the explosion," Kong said sacrificially.
"You sure that's the best way to handle this?" Mon mocked.
"Whatever happens, I'm the protagonist of my own life. That's why I choose to be here. Maybe, I can even destroy you in your own blast," Kong said to him.
"Yes!" Mon said approvingly.
Shanghai was suddenly hit with a thermonuclear-sized explosion that killed millions of Chinese instantly. Wonder Woman, Dragonson, and Bat-man were incinerated in the blast. Mon emerged from the smoke and dust a little ruffled with ash that was one Kong on his suit. "Destroyed in my own blast? That's a good one," Mon rolled his eyes and walked out of the crater.
Japanese military eventually arrived on the scene and walked up to a powered-down Mon. "Your orders, my Lord?" they asked.
"Rape and kill everyone in the city...in that order this time," Mon ordered. The Japanese troops proceeded to do just that with all the survivors of the city. "I need a shower," Mon said as he was covered in ash.
In an interrogation facility, Dr. Omen was questioned and tortured for information. Mon eventually arrived on the scene in a clean Insane uniform. "I need you to create more meta-humans for me to play with."
"I'll never help you," Dr. Omen spat.
Mon eyed her carefully. "I believe you." He sighed and then lit her on fire where she screamed and squirmed for a good while. He then turned to the Japanese. "You better find me other people I can entertain myself with."
"We will, my Lord," they promised.
