{Episode 7: What Are Little Girls Made Of?}
It was a beautifully tranquil day on Planet Earth as we see our faithful heroes seizing the day by hanging out by a small cove located just a few miles away from Bellwood since it was Ben's idea to take a break from all of the alien business and just be normal teenagers for once…well as normal as they can be anyway and we see Vanessa sighing contently as she rested her body against a large rock formation and happily lets the sun rays wash over her body as she wore a two-piece light purple bikini with a large white sun hat and dark purple shorts. Enjoying the sun, Vanessa then looks down at the lake and spotted her Little Sister Sabrina, who was wearing a pink one-piece swimsuit, trying to persuade Ship to get into the lake with her, but for some reason, he wouldn't budge.
Pouting a bit in disappointment, Sabrina got out of the lake and made her way over to try and grab him, but he easily avoided her grasp and slithered away as Vanessa let out a small laugh at the sight of her Sister chasing after Ship and then turned over to her left to see Knight resting on a lawnchair next to her while wearing a red bikini and black sunglasses. Smiling widely, Vanessa then turned to look at Gwen, who was wearing a white two-piece bikini, sitting by the edge of the rock formation as the Red-Headed Teenager saw a couple of fish swimming past her, causing her to sigh sadly as Gwen rested her head on her knees and Vanessa raised an eyebrow in worry at her Mana-Powered Friend as she was about to ask her what was wrong, but then she got distracted by Kevin, who was only wearing black swim trunks, as the Zennatrix Wielder saw him absorbing the rock below and looked up to Ben and Shadow, who were currently in their Cerebrocrustacean forms as they were standing on the other side of the rock formation.
Shadow has now transformed into a 5-feet-tall Male Cerebrocrustacean as he resembled a large crab with purple eyes that have black rings around them, a particularly massive-sized brain with light purple skull plates that reveals his huge salmon brain, six spikes placed on his skull plates/cheeks, large black bushy eyebrows, a large mouth with black lips and rectangular-shaped white teeth, a black beard, light purple pincers with his right claw being very small while his left was very large and spiny, Dark Purple Carapace Skin with his Lower Face/Body Being Colored Light Purple, a stubbier crab-like build, a robotic torso, four legs, and has the Xennotrix Symbol attached on his chest. His name is Brainstorm.
"Let us see whose Brainstorm is vastly superior...and I use the term loosely," Brainstorm X says with a sly tone and demeanor as Brainstorm AFU laughed condescendingly.
"Well, my fellow shape-shifting friend, while you have more experience than me, it doesn't mean you should underestimate me. Many enemies do, but when they mess with Ben, they get the 10." Brainstorm AFU fired back as an annoyed Kevin huffed at them.
"Hey, Nerds? Do you mind stop stroking your egos, so that we can get started with our cannonball contest already?" Kevin asked as Brainstorm AFU turned to him and laughed.
"My dear Kevin, your nigh gladiatorial bellicosity has once again outpaced your ratiocinative processes," Brainstorm AFU said smugly as everyone, minus Gwen and Shadow, gave him blank looks for his long and complicated response.
"Those were a lot of big words," Sabrina said innocently while sitting at the edge of the lake as she gave up trying to get Ship into the lake and was now rubbing his tummy, much to her pet's delight.
"…I don't know what you just said, but…CANNONBALL!" Kevin screamed while jumping off from the rock as he landed down on the lake, causing a small tsunami to appear as it headed straight for the Omnitrix/Animatrix Wielders, but it didn't seem to phase them as Ben and Shadow opened up their craniums and shot two small lightning bolts at it and caused steam to appear as Kevin popped out from the water and turned over to Vanessa and Knight, who were soaked head to toe with water. "So, how did I do?" Kevin asked with a grin as the Girls grabbed their beach bag and pulled out a couple of signs as Vanessa's sign read '8' while Knight's sign read '3'. "Alright, I like those points, but why do I get a 3?"
"That was for getting me wet," Knight said with an annoyed tone while shaking her body around to dry off her fur as Vanessa chuckled at her and patted her back.
"Eh, whatever. At least I got Ben and Shadow." Kevin said with a smirk before putting a shocked look as the steam cleared out, and the Osmosian saw both Brainstorms smirking at him arrogantly with not a single drop of water on them.
"Oh, attempting to short us out, hmmm?" Brainstorm AFU asked with an amused look as Brainstorm X shakes his head in disappointment.
"Before you cause such an involuntary cognitive discharge, our intense electromagnetic storms would vaporize you. To wit." Brainstorm X says just as he and Brainstorm AFU fired dual small electrical blasts at the Osmosian Boy, sending him flying back with a startled yelp as he crash-landed near the girls and reflexively dissolved his body armor as Vanessa gave the boys a '10 out of 10' while Knight gave them a '9'.
"As a coder and at the risk of gilding the lily, we will admit..." Brainstorm AFU says while crawling over to them with Shadow as they both transformed back into their normal forms with a couple of green/purple flashes of light as Ben and Shadow were wearing green/purple swim trunks.
"…That we weren't even thinking hard," Shadow admitted with a casual shrug as Vannesa laughed while Knight went over to help Kevin stand up to his feet.
"Okay, okay, you two got me that time. You live and learn, right, Gwen?" Kevin asked, but all he got was silence as Gwen continued staring at the lake and held a small rock in her hands.
"She misses Grandpa," Ben said, realizing the reason why his cousin was acting so strange as a confused Kevin turned to her.
"She was fine in the car."
"But Gwen started getting sad ever since we got here." Shadow pointed out as Ben glanced down at the ground guiltily.
"It's my fault, I thought bringing her here will cheer her up," Ben says as Vanessa reached over to place her hand on his shoulder comfortingly.
"...This is Grandpa Max's secret fishing rock. He used to come up here all the time when he wasn't traveling." Gwen says quietly as Knight raised an eyebrow curiously.
"Away on plumber business?" Knight asked as Gwen nodded somberly.
"Yeah, but we didn't know back then, when I was five, he brought me here and I caught a teeny tiny fish. He wanted me to release it, but I put up a big fuss. It was my fish, you know? Grandpa finally convinced me to come back when it was bigger." Gwen said as she threw the small rock into the lake and sat up as the Mana-Powered Girl stared down at the lake with a sad expression on her face. "Guess I never had an easy time letting go," Gwen said with a solemn tone in her voice as a sympathetic Vanessa and Knight were quick to walk over to give her a side hug to comfort her, and it worked as Gwen hugged them back, but then the tender moment was then cut-short by Sabrina, who ran up to them with a panicked look on her face as Ship slithered behind her with an equal panicked look.
"Guys! Guys! Guys, I think we're in trouble! Ship and I were just playing in the field when Ship suddenly sensed someone coming out of the forest, and these two weirdos wearing cloaks appeared out of nowhere! Look!" Sabrina screamed while pointing down as they saw a pair of mysterious Women wearing dark cloaks walking over to a tree and bending down as one of the Strangers pulls out a weird-looking flower.
"Huh, for a secret place, this gets a lot of traffic," Shadow says with a sarcastic tone as a surprised Gwen turned to Ben.
"Did you ever see a flower like that, Ben?" Gwen asked as, before Ben could react, Kevin suddenly cupped his hands around his mouth and screamed.
"HEY! YOU TWO WITH THE CLOAKS!" Kevin screamed, causing the gang to wince from the volume of his voice as the Mysterious Figures heard him and laughed a bit as they walked behind a tree.
"Don't let her get away!" Vanessa screamed as they chased after the Mysterious Figures and ran behind the tree, but to their shock, they were nowhere in sight.
"Those women just disappeared!" A stunned Gwen asked as Ben glanced down at Ship.
"Maybe they can teleport?" Ben asked Ship, who shrugs at him as he slithered over to the tree and started sniffing it with Shadow walking after him to help investigate the area.
"Could they be aliens, Big Sis?" Sabrina asked as Vanessa crosses her arms and hummed thoughtfully.
"I...don't know, they looked human enough but what they did just now was definitely not human."
"What were they doing?" Gwen asked as Knight shrugged.
"Beats me," Knight says as Shadow and Ship walk/slithered over to them after finishing their little investigation.
"Ship! Ship! Ship!" Ship beeped as Ben turned to him.
"Huh? What is it, boy? What did you and Shadow find?"
"See for yourselves," Shadow says as he and Ship lead them over to the back of the tree as Ben and the others were surprised to see a heart shape carving on the tree with the words 'Max plus Verdona' written in the middle.
"Max plus Verdona? Who is Verdona?"
"Verdona could probably be one of those Mysterious Women that we saw a few minutes ago," Sabrina pointed out as Gwen bends down and picks up the strange flower that one of the Mysterious Women left behind.
"Let's find her and ask. I should be able to track one of them with this," Gwen said as her eyes glowed pink and focused all of her energy on the small plant...but for some reason, it didn't work as Gwen glared at the flower in confusion and tried to use her powers again, but like last time it failed. "Ugh! I really thought I had that technique down." Gwen said with an annoyed tone as Ben bends down to inspect the tree and saw that it was covered with the same type of plant that Gwen has in her hands, except that some of them looked really old.
"Huh? It seems that this not the first flower that she had left here."
"So, what now? We can't just wait for them to come back?" Kevin asked as Shadow smirked cockily.
"That's exactly what we should do."
"Ooh, I smell a stakeout!" Vanessa says with an excited squeal as she grinned from ear to ear, and, after skipping to the next day, we see the Gang wearing their normal attire while residing inside Kevin's Car, patiently waiting for the Mysterious Woman to return as Kevin and Ben were sitting in the Driver and Passenger Seats with Gwen, Vanessa, Knight and Shadow sitting in the back as Sabrina laid on her Older Sister's lap with Ship lying on his Master's shoulders.
"This is crazy, they didn't show up yesterday, and they are not gonna show up tonight," Kevin said, bored out of his mind as an irritated Gwen glared at the back of his head.
"Humor me," Gwen said with a dry tone as Vanessa smiled amusedly.
"Aw, why do you have to be so negative, Kev?"
"Oh, what? You're going to tell me that you love sitting around here, doing nothing all day?"
"Hell yeah! I love stakeouts! Sitting around in a car, staying up really late and eating lots of junk food!" Vanessa said while pulling a bag filled with junk food as Kevin looked over at Ben and gave him a look.
"Tell me again, why are you dating her?" Kevin asked as Ben grinned.
"She's hot, funny, smart, and strong. What's not to like?"
"Besides, it's way better than Ben dating fucking Kai of all people," Vanessa says venomously as a confused Ben turned to her.
"What?"
"What?" Vanessa says with an innocent tone as Ben gave her a raised eyebrow but shrugged nonetheless as he rested his head on his hand and continued waiting for the strangers to show up as silence appeared over them, and the Gang focused their sights on the tree, waiting for the strangers to appear as the silence was then broken by Ben, who thought it will be fun to pass the time by pressing the lock button over and over again until the Omnitrix Wielder saw Kevin and Shadow glaring at him as he lets go of the lock button and smiled at them nervously as silence appeared once again...but then a grinning Ben went back to his 'Pressing the button over and over' game as an annoyed Kevin and Shadow turned to him.
"Do we look like we're kidding, Tennyson?!"
"You guys!" Knight screamed with a glare, causing the Trio to promptly shut up as Sabrina squirmed in her Older Sister's lap with a nervous expression on her face.
"What's wrong?" Vanessa asked, still eating the bag of chips from earlier as Sabrina glanced up.
"I have to pee."
"Lots of trees around," Kevin said with a grin as Shadow laughed a bit...before being grossed out by what he said as he shakes his head.
"Really, Kevin?" Vanessa asked with an unamused tone while throwing the bag of chips out the window.
"What? I was just making a joke." Kevin said with a shrug as Gwen shook his head at him before turning over to Sabrina as she opened the door.
"Don't worry, sweetheart. I think I saw a gas station a couple of miles back."
"If you want, I can drive you guys there," Kevin suggested while watching all of the girls getting out of the car.
"No, you, Shadow, and Ben need to keep watch. I will go with Vanessa and Sabrina to the gas station."
"Ditto," Knight says, agreeing with Gwen as Vanessa turned to them.
"Are you sure about that, Girls? You two don't have to come if you don't want to. I am her Big Sister. It is my responsibility." Vanessa asked while picking up Sabrina as Gwen and Knight walked over to her.
"Nah, it's okay. Besides, I need to go to the bathroom too." Knight said with a blushing Gwen nodding in agreement as Vanessa nodded in understanding, and the group was about to walk off when suddenly Sabrina spotted Ship glancing at her through the window due to still being locked up inside Kevin's car.
"Ship?"
"No, Ship. You need to stay here and protect the boys, until we come back." Sabrina said as Ship planted himself on the window and gave his master a worried look.
"Ship..."
"Don't worry, we'll be back soon," Sabrina said as she and the girls walked off to the gas station, leaving behind the boys as they sat in silence...only for Ben to press the lock button again as Kevin and Shadow screamed in frustration as they reached over to grab the 15-year-old by his jacket and was about to strangle him when suddenly Ben stopped them.
"Wait, guys, look!" Ben yelled while pointing ahead of him as the Duo turned over to where he was pointing and saw one of the Mysterious Women coming out of nowhere as she bends down at the tree and somehow made the plant glow. "Hey! How do you know Max Tennyson?" Ben asked as he and the others got out of the car and walked over to her as Kevin pulled back her hood, revealing her appearance to them as she was a 5'5-feet-tall Anodite of unknown age, but she was currently wearing her Human Disguise, which consisted of her resembling a woman in her early 60s as she had dark blue eyes, neck-length silver hair, thin black eyebrows, a small nose, faint wrinkles on her face, a sharp chin, Caucasian Wrinkled Skin, a slender build, and her outfit consists of a blue cloak. Her name is Verdona, Ben and Gwen's Grandmother.
"Talk!" Kevin ordered as Shadow nodded with a glare.
"Yeah, we don't want to hurt someone as old as you," Shadow says as Verdona smirked at them and scoffed as she raised her hand.
"What rotten kids, go away!" Verdona demanded as her hands glowed pink, and the boys gasp in shock as it resembles Gwen's energy blast, but before they can react, she shot at them with a big energy wave that sends them all crashing down into the ground as Verdona floated off from the ground and flew off.
"Ugh...well, that was embarrassing," Shadow says while getting up from the ground with Ben as the Alien Boy lifted up his Animatrix Arm, and a purple glow covered his body as we see him transforming into a 6-feet-tall Pterolider as he resembles a cross between a Pterodactyl and a glider with pupilless purple eyes that have black rings around them, two black antennas planted on the top of his head, a large black beak-like mouth, a dark purple jetpack-like structure planted on his back with small black retractable wings that resemble a glider, metallic dark purple slim yet muscular three-clawed black fingers, Metallic Dark Purple Skin, a humanoid slim build, and his outfit consists of a purple/black clothing on his shoulders/waist, purple braces around his wrists/ankles, and has the Animatrix Symbol planted on his waist. His name is-
"Astrodactyl!" The Now-Named Astrodactyl exclaimed while striking a heroic pose as Ben glanced down at his Omnitrix Arm and slammed his hand down on it, causing a green glow to appear as we see that Ben has transformed into-
"Jetray!" Jetray screamed as he and Astrodactyl flew after Verdona while Kevin got up from the ground as he ran over to his car and placed his hand on it, absorbing the metal and creating a green/black metallic body armor around his body as Kevin was about to go after the Boys when suddenly he noticed Ship bouncing in front of him to get his attention.
"What do you want?" Kevin asked with a raised eyebrow as Ship bounced excitedly before bending down as he started changing his form and slowly turned into a small size version of the Jet Fighter machine that he turned into from the Pier Pressure Chapter as Kevin whistled impressively and looked over to inspect Ship's new form as he noticed that, although the aircraft was small, it was big enough for him to fit. "Okay, this could work, Mutt." Kevin said as we cue back over to Ben and Shadow, who was trying his best to catch up to the flying lady as said lady looked behind her and finally notices them chasing after her as Verdona smiled excitedly.
"Ooh a chase! I haven't had a good chase in years!" Verdona yelled, surprising the Boys with what she said, as the Anodite smirked at them arrogantly and then looked on ahead as she booted up her speed. Noticing this, Jetray and Astrodactyl shared a look as they nodded stoically, deciding to level the playing field as the Omnitrix/Animatrix Wielders flew up into the air as they then took off at the speed of sound and Verdona hummed in amusement as she saw Ben and Shadow flying in front of her, trying to catch her, but all she did was lazily move to the left and levitated back to shore.
"Ha, ha, ha!" Verdona laughed while looking behind her to see if the Boys will follow her, but she didn't need to wait as Jetray and Astrodactyl suddenly appeared in front of her and blasted her with multiple neuroshocks and starbolts as the Blue-Eyed Woman laughed at them condescendingly and flew back to avoid the attacks, but what she didn't expect was to see Kevin, still armored up, flying over to her on Ship as he charged up the guns and smirked at her cockily.
"Fire!" Kevin screamed as he blasted the ground below her, being careful not to hit the old lady as the shockwave from the blast manage to make her lose her focus and fell down to the ground as Kevin jumped out of Ship and ran over to Verdona as he grabbed her by her wrist and hoisted her up into the air. "Answers, lady, we are done playing."
"Not until I put away my toys away, sweetie," Verdona said with a grin as multiple pink tentacles shot out of her back and grabbed his arms and legs, Kevin didn't have any time to react as she tossed him over to Jetray and Astrodactyl, who ducked out of the way as Kevin skidded across the ground and crashed against a couple of rocks.
"Ship!" Ship beeped in concern as Jetray and Astrodactyl flew above the powerful lady and glared down at her.
"Who are you?/What is your relationship with Max Tennyson?" Jetray and Astrodactyl asked as Verdona ignored them and grinned up at them mischievously with her eyes glowing pink as Shadow yelped in surprise at feeling his jetpack frizzling up a bit while Ben was surprised to see his lower body was trapped in an energy field as he tried to free himself by using his neuroshocks, but that doesn't seem to help as his lasers made the bubble stronger and it blew up as well as Shadow's jetpack as the Omnitrix and Animatrix Wielders fall down from the sky as they crash-landed next to Kevin while transforming back to normal as the Powerless Boys groaned in pain and Verdona floated above them as she grinned at them with a murderous glint in her eyes.
"This little world would be a lot more tolerable without troublemaking imps like you getting in my way!"
"Oh, yeah! Show us what you got!" Kevin said confidently, causing the old lady to grin at him as she was about to blast them when suddenly a pink glow appeared behind her, and Verdona felt a fiercely powerful mana glow behind her.
"That's far enough, Verdona." A Womanly Voice Rang out as Verdona turned her head and spotted her friend floating behind as she glared at her.
Floating in front of Verdona was a 5'8-feet-tall Anodite of unknown age, but she was currently wearing her Revonnahgander Disguise, which consisted of her resembling a female cat-like alien being in her mid-60s as she had hot pink eyes, pointed ears, long gray hair that reaches down to her back, a small nose, a sharp chin, periwinkle-blue colored fur with pink markings on her face and ears, the middle of her face/her chest/stomach are white as she also has pink stripes on her shoulders/waist/lower legs and arms, a tall slender build, and her outfit consists of a blue cloak that covered her body as, underneath that, she was wearing a sleeveless light brown dress with an orange sash wrapped around her waist as she wears a cream-colored long-sleeved shirt underneath. Her name is Rook Luna, an all-powerful Anodite.
"Ah, you're no fun, Luna," Verdona says with a pout, causing Shadow to perk up at the name as, before he could say anything, Ship suddenly jumped in front of them and beeped at them angrily.
"Ship!"
"Oh, what do we have here? A meddling Galvanic Mechamorph Mutt, go away!" An annoyed Verdona says as she was about to erase him out of existence, but then-
"No, leave him alone!" A Young Voice screamed, causing the levitating women to raise their eyebrows in surprise as they saw Sabrina running past her and bend over to hug Ship.
"Huh, who are you, little one?" Luna asked with a curious yet kind tone as Verdona was about to say something when suddenly a mana disk narrowly flew past her head and cut off a few of her gray hairs, much to her surprise as Verdona whirled around to see Gwen, Vanessa, and Knight running into the scene.
"Can't we leave you guys alone for two minutes?" Gwen asked with a glare while lifting up her hands as they glowed pink, and Verdona spotted this as the Anodite Woman gasped in shock.
"Do that again," Verdona ordered to Gwen, who glared at her and stood in a fighting stance.
"No, problem!" Gwen screamed as she shot a couple of mini mana blasts at her, but she easily deflected all of them with an energy field as Verdona beamed excitedly.
"Incredible!"
"Just who do you think you are, littering my Grandpa's cove with your flowers!"
"Flowers she makes with energy," Kevin said as Gwen's eyes flew open in shock as she saw the old lady's hand glow pink, just like she does.
"No way," Gwen says as the old lady walked past the shocked teens and walked over to Gwen with a hopeful look on her face.
"Did you say Max was your grandfather?" Verdona asks as Gwen nodded slowly. "Kiddo!" Verdona screamed in joy as she hugged her.
"Uh, he was my grandpa too," Ben pointed out, causing the old lady to perk up as she let go of Gwen and turned to him.
"Really? Can you project energy like your sister?"
"Cousin...and no."
"Shame," Verdona said, disappointed as Vanessa and the others looked kind of annoyed by what she said but didn't have time to say anything as Luna finally got a good look at Shadow and Knight as she gasped softly and stepped forward.
"Rook Shadow? Rook Knight?" Luna asked, causing the Rook Siblings to perk up as they stared at her suspiciously.
"Yeah, what about it?" Knight asked with a glare as Luna bit her lip and had tears in her eyes as she slowly lifted up to take off her hood, revealing her face to Shadow and Knight as they gasped and stared at her in shock as they took a couple of steps back.
"N-No way...a-are you..."
"He, he, it's good to see you kiddos again," Luna says as Shadow and Knight teared up and ran over to hug her as Ben and the others were heavily confused by what happened while Verdona smiled warmly.
"Grandma, you're alive! But how? We thought you were destroyed along with everyone else?" A confused Knight asked as Luna separated from her Grandchildren and smiled at them gleefully.
"It's a long story, and I will explain it soon, but Verdona and I have to leave for a bit. We will be back soon."
"See ya later, Gwendolyn," Verdona said with her and Luna's eyes glowing pink as, the next thing they knew, the all-powerful Anodites disappeared in dual flashes of pink light.
"...Okay, what the hell just happen?" Vanessa asked, still confused about what happened, as Gwen and Shadow turned to her.
"We just met our Grandmothers."
"...WHAT?!"
An hour later, we see a quiet Gwen staring at her house from afar in Kevin's Car as she closed her eyes and sighs nervously as, after the...interesting encounter with her grandmother, Gwen had asked Kevin to drive her back to her home so she can get some answers from her father and the Gang asked her if she wanted them to come with her, but she politely declined since this was a private matter and asked them to stay in the car and wait for her to finish her talk with her father. Vanessa and the others respected her wishes, and stayed back in the car as Gwen walked over to her house, and opened the door as she walked inside and closed the door behind her, not knowing that the Gang all shared a grin with each other as they all shared the same idea and immediately got out of the car to eavesdrop on the conversation.
"Hey, guys," An anxious Gwen says while taking uneasy breaths as she walked into her living room and saw her father reading a newspaper while her mother, Natalie Tennyson, stood back in the kitchen as she was busy cleaning the dishes.
Gwen's Father is a 6-feet-tall, 40-year-old Man with dark brown eyes, short comeback brown hair, thick eyebrows, a big nose, wrinkles on his forehead and cheeks, a sharp chin, Caucasian Skin, a tall slim build, and his outfit consists of a pair of square-shaped glasses with black rims, a long-sleeved burgundy sweatshirt with a white polo shirt underneath, tan trousers, and brown shoes. His name is Frank Tennyson.
Gwen's Mother is a 5'10-feet-tall, 38-year-old Woman with dark blue eyes that have bags under them and thick eyelashes, shoulder-length slicked-back red hair, thin black eyebrows, a big nose, a sharp chin, Caucasian Skin, a slender hourglass figure, and her outfit consists of a short-sleeved opened green jacket with a white blouse underneath, yellow round earrings, a necklace with a golden buckle, dark gray skirt, and dark gray high-heeled shoes. Her name is Natalie Tennyson.
"Oh, hello, dear. Missed dinner again, I see." Natalie says with a playful smile as Gwen blushed in embarrassment and looked down.
"Uh, yeah, sorry about that," Gwen says as she placed her hands behind her back and turned over to her father. "Anyway, Dad, can I talk to you for a minute?" Gwen asked as Frank lowered his newspaper and gave his Daughter a small smile.
"Sure, pumpkin. What do you need?"
"I think it's best if we talk about this in my room…alone," Gwen said as Natalie gave her daughter a suspicious look while Frank looked at Gwen in surprise as he tilted his glasses.
"In your room, really? I'd be honored." Frank says as Gwen grabbed his hand and dragged him upstairs as Natalie watched them go with careful eyes as she walked over to her living room and started dusting a few vases. With Gwen, we see her letting her Father go into her room as she closed it behind her and locked it just in case her mother comes by as Frank looked around the room with a small grin on his face as Gwen nervously walks over to him and looks down. "It's been a while since I have seen your room. When was the last time you let me up here?" Frank joked, but Gwen didn't respond as she was having an inner battle on whether or not it was a good idea to tell him about her powers.
"Dad...I have been keeping a big secret from you." Gwen says as she walked over to her drawer and opened it as Frank starred at her Daughter curiously as he looked over her shoulder and saw that her drawer was filled with tons of magical artifacts, and spell books, including the old spell book that she had when she was ten and her old Lucky Girl Mask. "I have magic powers," Gwen says while lifting up her hand as it glowed blue, and she used her telekinesis to lift up her spellbook as she hovered it over to her hand and waited patiently for her Father's shock outburst.
"...Yeah, I know."
"What?! You knew!? Since when?!" A shocked Gwen asked as Frank laughed amusedly.
"Gwen, did you really think that your Grandpa didn't tell Nathalie and me about the Magic Powers that you gained when you were ten on that Summer Road Trip with your Alien Shape-Shifting Alien Watch Wearing Cousin?"
"Oh, uh, I guess that makes sense, but there's something else. You ready?" Gwen asked while raising her other arm as her hand glowed pink and hesitated for a little bit before charging up her mana powers as a large pink tentacle appeared out of her arm and zoomed across her room before closing the small drawer as Frank fell down on Gwen's bed in shock at what he saw.
"O-Okay, that was a shock."
"I met Grandma Verdona today," She said as Frank looked up at her in surprise before sighing as he stood up and saw old pictures of Gwen when she was a kid.
"I knew this day might come, but you never showed any sign of having Mana Powers. Even when you got your Magic Powers, Dad told your Mother and I that he had seen no signs of your Anodite Heritage. We thought we were in the clear."
"Anodite? What's that?" Gwen asked curiously as Frank took a deep breath and glanced up at her with a serious expression on his face.
"Sweetheart, your Mother and I have been keeping a secret of our own. Your Grandma Verdona is an Anodite, an alien being, which means that you're also an alien. Well, at least a hybrid between a Human and an Alien." Frank revealed, causing Gwen to stumble back in her steps as she sat on her bed and stared at her father in disbelief and amazement.
"Okay, I am overloaded with questions, but first…guys, I know you're out there. Come on in." Gwen said, causing the gang to wince as they stood outside of her window and were eavesdropping on their conversation as Vanessa and the others tried their best not to be spotted but ultimately failed.
"Aww, how did you know that we were out there? We were being extra sneaky!" Vanessa said while pouting a little bit as she and the others entered Gwen's room.
"Well, first, I knew you guys would be eavesdropping. Second, you guys weren't that quiet, and third…it's pretty easy to spot you and Sabrina in the darkness with your blue hair." Gwen said while laughing at her as Vanessa grabbed her curly hair and moans embarrassedly.
"Ah! Once again, my blue hair betrayed me!" Vanessa screamed in a typical anime girl-like manner before calming down as she noticed Frank staring at her confusedly from across the room, and Vanessa instantly straightened herself out as she walked over to Gwen's dad and held out her hand for him to shake. "Hello, Mr. Tennyson! My name is Vanessa Cunningham. I'm friends with your daughter. Nice to meet ya!" Vanessa said with a grin while holding out her arm, but Frank didn't seem to respond to her as he couldn't help but stare at Vanessa's large and very visible scar. "Uh, are you okay, Mr. Tennyson?"
"Hmmm? Oh, sorry about that. It's very nice to meet you too, Vanessa." Frank said while shaking her hand as he had questions about her scar, but decided to not say anything out of respect as Frank then spotted Sabrina and smiled warmly as he bends down to ruffle her hair. "And who is this cutie?"
"My name is Sabrina, I'm Vanessa's little sister, and this is Ship!" Sabrina said while picking Ship up from the ground as he looks over at Frank suspiciously before licking his face.
"Ship!" Ship beamed as Frank wiped away the saliva and stood up as he turned over to Kevin, who was desperately trying to hide away from him as Frank stared at him suspiciously.
"Uh, how do you do, sir? Kevin Levin." Kevin introduced himself lamely as Frank raised his eyebrow at him and looked over at Gwen.
"Who is this? Your boyfriend?"
"Yep." Vanessa and everyone else said bluntly while grinning teasingly as both Gwen and Kevin's faces instantly went red as Kevin distanced himself from Gwen while she waved her arms around madly.
"Absolutely not! I-I mean, no sir!/Daddy, no!" Kevin and Gwen screamed in unison as Frank smiled amusedly and then turned over to Rook Shadow and Knight as they smiled at him nervously.
"Hello, sir, I'm Rook Shadow, and this is my Sister Rook Knight."
"We're sorry if our appearances scare you or make you uncomfortable," Knight says apologetically as Frank waves his hand reassuringly.
"Don't worry, you two don't scare me. I mean, my Mom is an alien and all." Frank says with the Rook Siblings nodding in understatement as Gwen turned towards her Father.
"So, here is the thing, Dad. My Grandma, who I never knew, wants something from me, but I don't know what."
"Let's ask her then."
"How?" Sabrina asked while tilting her head in confusion as Ships does the same, and Frank gave her a smirk as she turned back to his Daughter, who was staring at him with confusion as well.
"Your friends aren't the only ones that sneak around, eavesdropping on people. Isn't that right, mom?" Frank asked just as two big flashes of pink lights occurred as the teens had to cover their eyes before opening them as they were surprised to see Verdona and Luna suddenly teleported into Gwen's room.
"You always could tell when I was watching, baby. I had hoped that meant you had the spark, but no such luck," Verdonna says with a disappointed sigh before perking up as she raised her glowing hands and snapped her fingers, causing the group to let out startled gasps as they glowed pink and were suddenly teleported into Gwen's living room, surprising Natalie as she drops the vase that she was cleaning and it shattered down into the ground, but Gwen's Mom ignored that for the moment as she was about to ask them how they got there, but the answer came quickly as she saw her Mother-In-Law standing in between the group.
"Verdona, what a surprise," Nathalie said through gritted teeth with Vanessa and the others being able to sense the obvious tension between them as Verdona's eyes glowed pink and the broken vase that was on the floor levitated off the floor and fixed itself before being placed gently on the table.
"Whoa," Gwen said, astonished at the sight before her as the others were the same.
"Man, your grandma is way cooler than mine," Vanessa said with Sabrina nodding in agreement as she let go of Ship and he slithered off to explore the house.
"Yeah, all she does is watch TV and order us to give her cat a bath," Sabrina said as she and Vanessa both shuddered in disgust as Verdona took off her hood and gave Natalie a grin.
"Tea, dear, and something sweet for the kids," Verdona says as Natalie gave her an irritated look before going into the kitchen to prepare something for her guests as, after fast-forwarding in time, we see the Gang sitting around in Gwen's living room with a teacup and a tray of cookies placed on the coffee table as Verdona poured herself a cup of tea while Sabrina sneakily tries to grab a cookie from the tray, but Vanessa slapped her hand before she could.
"Ow, what was that for?!"
"Sabrina, you know you can't have any kind of sweets. You will have a sugar rush."
"I was only going to eat one!" Sabrina says as Vanessa narrows her eyes at her. "...All right, fine, I'll go and play with Ship in the backyard," Sabrina grumbled as she got up from the couch and went into the backyard to play with her alien pet.
"Been a while, Mom," Frank said, trying to start a conversation as Verdona smiled at him and took a sip from her tea.
"I suppose in human time," Verdona said as she turned over to Gwen, who was staring at her alien grandmother as her head was filled with tons of questions. "Sweetie, your grandmother is an Anodite, and so are you."
"What's an Anodite exactly?"
"Anodites are a race of free spirits with powers that humans can barely comprehend. Now we don't always mess in the affairs of just plain folks, but I fell deeply in love with Max Tennyson."
"Aww, alien love!" Vanessa squealed while leaning next to Ben.
"So, why did you ditch him?" Kevin asked rudely, causing Ben and Shadow to elbow him in the ribs as Verdona gave him a look but pressed on.
"No, I didn't ditch him. It's just that after the kids were grown and out of the house, I needed to reconnect with my Anodite Heritage, and Max was busy saving the universe with the Plumbers."
"Dad thought you didn't know about that," Frank commented as Verdona smiles fondly and stared at her cup of tea as old memories slipped through her mind.
"Yes, he didn't want me to worry, sweet man. We had many great years, but we grew apart. Even a fellow loaded with as much mana as Max is still a physical being."
"What's Mana?" Ben asked as Verdona smirked and lifted her finger just as Ben tried to take another bite from his cookie but was stopped as Verdona put tape around his mouth.
"Well, that's one way of shutting him up," An amused Knight says with Ben deadpanning at her while Vanessa helped remove the tape from his mouth. "But, Grandma Luna, we have to know, how did you survive our Dimension's destruction?"
"Yeah, we thought you were dead, along with the rest of our loved ones." A bewildered Shadow asked as Luna was quick to explain.
"Oh, you see, before our dimension was destroyed, I was able to use my Anodite Powers to warp myself to another universe to escape its destruction. At first, I was devasted by the loss of our loved ones, but when I heard that the two of you were able to survive and got sent to another universe, I started traveling through the Multiverse to find you Kids, and I eventually met up with Verdona and traveled to her Universe for a while. Imagine my surprise when I saw my favorite Grandchildren tonight." Luna says while rubbing Shadow and Knight's hair as they smiled and hugged her.
"Anyway, your Grandpa's Death was big news. It even reached my home planet. So, I came back here to remember the good times." Verdona said before turning to Gwen as the Anodite had a big smile on her face. "Who knew there was a budding Anodite among you! Gwendolyn, you'll be amazed at what you can do! Let me teach you to master life-energy! That's what mana is!" Verdona said to Ben as she gave him a cheeky grin.
"And not only that, but I can teach you two how to use Mana as well, especially you, Knight, as you have the spark alongside your Brother," Luna says as Shadow and Knight perked up at what she said with Gwen being excited by Verdona's proposal as they turned to their Grandmothers.
"I do want to learn. When do we start?" Gwen asks as Verdona grabbed her hands and squeezed them softly.
"On Anodyne. Stop living this hum drum life, come home with me and Luna and her Grandchildren and join the real party." Verdona said with a grin as Gwen let go of her hands and took a few steps back as she stared at her friends wide-eyed at the news.
"Leave? This is all so...wow."
"Sorry, Grandma, but we have to decline," Shadow says as Knight nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, sorry, Grandma, but we prefer living on this Earth for a while. Although, you can teach us whenever you're not busy and on Earth." Knight commented as Luna pouted somberly but then brightened up as she smiled.
"It's okay, sweethearts, I understand," Luna says with Verdona staring at her oddly and confusedly as a taken-back Gwen stood up from the couch.
"This is too huge! Mom, Dad, what do I do?"
"I don't know, it's an opportunity I never had," Frank said while standing up as Natalie followed in pursuit and gave her daughter a sad smile.
"We always hoped that you take after my side of the family," Nathalie said while momentarily glaring at Verdona as she glared back at her. "But we want you to be happy."
"We won't stand in your way, Gwen."
"You won't?" A crestfallen Gwen asked as Verdona clapped her hands together happily.
"Well, that settles it. Come on, sweetie." Verdona said gleefully as Gwen closed her eyes and runs upstairs while crying silently as she does so as Vanessa and the others were quick to run after her.
"You would go up to the roof." A slightly annoyed Kevin says while climbing up to the roof of the house with the others as they spotted a distraught Gwen sitting before them and was staring up at the stars somberly as the Gang went over to sit down next to her. "You know SOME of us can't fly, you know?"
"Geez, dude, be supportive. Gwen's going through a lot right now." Knight scolded while whacking him as Gwen sighed heavily and glanced down.
"This is NOT how I expected my day to go..."
"Still, it's pretty cool to find out about your powers, huh? And the fact that you're Half Alien." Ben says with a weak smile as a surprised Vanessa turned to him.
"Wait, doesn't that mean that you're also Half Alien?"
"Yeah, but I don't get any powers from it."
"Man, that sucks. Thank God you have the Omnitrix, or else you would be horribly jealous and depressed to find out that your Cousin got cool alien powers while you didn't." Vanessa says with a playful tone as Ben gave her a blank look, and Gwen chuckled amusedly as Shadow then turned to her.
"Hey, Gwen, I know what you're going through, and I understand, but if you want to go, we won't blame you. I mean, you could learn everything that Verdona could do."
"But then I will be gone for a really long time..."
"Maybe forever," Kevin commented with a glare as he looked away, clearly bothered by the prospect of Gwen leaving as Vanessa and the others were heartwarmed by that.
"You know, if you don't want to go, you can just do what Shadow and I did and tell your Grandma that she can teach you whenever she's not busy and on Earth," Knight suggested as Gwen sighed heavily and nodded.
"Yeah, I can do that, but...I don't know. A part of me is tempted to go with her. I always felt like an outsider, but I thought it was because of my Magic Powers. Now, I know it's because I'm an Alien Freak...no offense." Gwen says to Kevin, Shadow, and Knight as they nodded. "But that would mean that I would probably never see you Guys again, and, even if we are able to meet up, all of you would be old while I would be in the Prime of my Life."
"And we'd miss you if you go," Ben says sincerely as Shadow and Knight.
"Ditto, even if we met for a short while."
"Really?" A touched Gwen asked as Vanessa nodded.
"Yeah, you were basically the first Female Friend I had, and you're a pretty cool girl. We would miss you a lot if you go. I'm sure Sabrina would be the same."
"When I was trying to decide if I should put on the Omnitrix or not, you told me that would be my choice and the same thing would be to you. Whatever you decide, we will support it 100%," Ben says reassuringly as Gwen stayed silent a bit before turning to Kevin as she tilted her head at him.
"Kevin, do you feel the same way?"
"No, why would you even think about it? I want you around. The whole thing is lame." Kevin said bluntly with a glare as Gwen smiled warmly, finally making up her mind as she stood up from the floor and walked over to kiss him on the cheek, much to everyone's surprise as Gwen turned around to walk away. "Lame! Lame!"
"Are you sure that you and Gwen aren't a couple yet?" Shadow asked teasingly as Vanessa, Ben, and Knight laughed in agreement and nodded as Kevin blushed in embarrassment.
"Shag carpeting, they were Max's favorite. Why do the most backwatered creatures make the best music?" Verdona asked Luna, who shrugged as the Anodites could be seen dancing across the Living Room with a disco ball placed on the ceiling as the lights were off, and music was playing in the living room as Frank and Nathalie came out of the kitchen, wondering where the noise was coming from and saw that their living room has turned into a mini disco party as a deadpanned Nathalie turned to her Husband.
"Don't you ever complain about my Aunt Joyce again." Natalie hissed to Frank, who slump his shoulders as an amused Verdona turned to her.
"Cheer up, junior. You didn't have the spark, there was nothing I could teach you."
"You taught me a lot, mom, you and Dad both."
"You know what I mean. I even came back when the grandkids were born just in case your baby had the spark, but nothing to it," Verdona said as she levitated back on the ground. "Carl's boy, same thing."
"Mom, if you could give Gwen the opportunity that we can't, we won't hold her back," Frank says as Verdona smiles and continues dancing, just as Gwen and the others came downstairs as the Anodite turned to her.
"Oh, hey, Gwen, so what's your decision?" An oblivious Verdona asked as Gwen gave her Grandmother an apologetic look.
"Thanks so much for the offer, Grandma, but I'll just settle for being a gifted human. I want to stay here with my friends," Gwen says to Verdona, whose face fell as she snapped her fingers, and everything returned back to normal.
"But you don't even know what you really are! Kiddo, we belong on Anodyne among our kind. Here, let me show you." Verdona says as her eyes and mouth glowed pink and, with a huge flash of pink light, her real form was shown as she shed her human skin and it fell on the ground.
"See? Just a disguise." Verdona says in a booming tone as her real form resembles a purple/pink alien with long pink glowing hair that reaches down to her feet, and her whole body radiated with a pink glow. "This is what it means to be an Anodite,"
"Now that's just nasty," Shadow says with a wince as everyone were shocked and disgusted by the transformation.
"So, that's why she looks so good," Natalie said commented dryly.
"Mature Anodites are pure energy."
"Yeah, we can draw life from the mana around us," Luna added in as an amazed Ben turned to the Gang.
"You got to admit, that is pretty cool."
"You're just too young to make up your mind on your own, let me help you. I'll destroy your human body, and free the Anodite inside, it will be fun, and you will be able to think clearly, much more clearly." Verdona says, talking to Gwen as if she is 5 years old, as the whole Gang was flabbergasted and shocked by what he said, including Luna as she couldn't believe that her New Friend was willing to do that to her own Granddaughter.
"What the shit!?" Vanessa exclaimed as Gwen shook off the shock from her body and glares up at her grandmother.
"Destroy my body? You're not serious."
"How do you know you don't like something if you don't try it?" Verdonna asked as she reached out her hands towards Gwen but was stopped by her friends as Ben, Vanessa, and Shadow held out their Alien Devices, Kevin got into a fighting stance, and Knight pulled out her weapon as they stood in front of Gwen protectively.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Tennyson, but Gwen said no," Shadow says sternly as Verdona smiles at them with a childish grin.
"Another dance, boys and girls? Fine, but just this once." Verdona says while raising her hands and blasted them away with a big mana blast as meanwhile, in the backyard, we see Sabrina playing along with Ship before the Galvanic Mechamorph stopped as he sniffed the air and senses massive amounts of energy coming towards him as Ship reacted quickly and tackled a surprised Sabrina out of the way just as the wall suddenly exploded as a screaming Vanessa and the others appeared as they crashed down into the ground with Gwen coming out of the hole to check on them as a giggling Verdona flew out of the house.
"Now, this is what I call a party!" Verdona screamed with a laugh while slamming her hands together as she shot an even bigger Mana Blast at the group with Gwen and the others gasping in shock as the blast collided against them head-on and made a giant size crater appear on the ground as Luna was forced to stay behind to shield Gwen's Parents and also create a big mana forcefield around their house to prevent Gwen's neighbors from interfering and getting hurt.
"Damm, grandma does not fuck around!" A stunned Vanesa said as, once the smoke cloud dies down, we see that Gwen projected a Mana Barrier around her and her team, successfully protecting them from the blast as she got out of the crater with her mana platforms and blasted her back as Verdona didn't even blink and merely blocked the attack with her hair as she grinned at them.
"Gwen, stay back!" Kevin shouted worriedly as Gwen ignored him and merely raised her glowing hands as she began firing multiple Mana Blasts at her Alien Grandmother.
"Hit the road, Kevin!"
"Huh?" Kevin asked confusedly as Gwen rolled her eyes and motioned the road as he finally caught on to what she was saying and was quick to absorb the rock below as the Osmosian Teenager coated himself in cement armor.
"Okay, Ship, we can't stand here and do nothing. Can you transform into anything useful?" Sabrina asked as Ship thought for a minute before nodding as the Galvanic Mechamorph jumped into her arms and transformed into an Assault Rifle. "Whoa, okay. Let's see if I'm good with a gun like Mommy." Sabrina said as she ran out into the field and raised her gun at the Mana-Powered Alien. "Hey, my Mommy says that I have to respect my elders, but this time I think I can make an exception!" Sabrina screamed with a smirk while cocking her gun as she started firing multiple laser blasts at Verdona, who smiled amusedly as she deflected each blast away with a wave of her hand, but then grunted in annoyance as Kevin was quick to rip out very large stones from the ground and tossed them at her as they impacted against her back, not hurting her to be honest as Ben and Vanessa turned to share a look.
"Double Dragon Team Up?"
"Double Dragon Team Up," Ben says with a firm nod as he and Vanessa was quick to activate their Omnitrix and Zennatrix as they then slammed their hands down on the cores, and dual flashes of green/purple lights occurred as, once they died down, we see that both Ben and Vanessa had transformed into-
"Azula!/Azure!" Vanessa and Ben screamed in unison while flapping their wings as they took off into the air.
"Bro? I think it's time you joined them!" Knight screamed while pulling out her blaster and fired multiple rounds at Verdona to help out Sabrina as Shadow nodded firmly and reaches down to slam his hand down at the Animatrix as a flash of purple light occurred.
Once the flash of bright purple light died down, we see that Shadow has now transformed into an 8-feet-tall male Crystalsapien as he resembled a silicon-based alien lifeform with a crystal magenta face that has a singular large light purple eye and a small mouth, a large magenta crystal planted on the top of his head that resembled a horn, dark gray rock four-fingered magenta crystal hands, two magenta crystals attached to his chest with six other magenta crystals planted on his back, a tall humanoid top-heavy muscularly slender build as his body was made out of extremely durable dark gray rocks and has dark lines/spots on it, a slim dark gray rock-based waist, dark gray rock-based legs that resemble shoes and has the Animatrix Symbol planted on his chest. His name is-
"Chromastone!" Chromastone exclaimed before reaching down to grab his Animatrix Symbol on his chest as he rotated counter-clockwise, and the core popped out as Shadow was quick to slam his hand down on the symbol and, instantly, his Animatrix Symbol unsheathed four spikes in a diagonal directional formation as Chromastone's body was slowly consumed by a bright purple luminescent energy field and a big flash of light occurred as, once it dies down, we see an Evolved Crystalsapien standing in his place.
Once the flash of bright purple light died down, we see that Shadow has now transformed into Evolved Crystalsapien, which consisted of him being 10 feet tall as he resembled a silicon-based alien lifeform with a white/black rock-like face that has a singular small light purple eye, four large black crystals planted on the top of his head that resembled a spiked Viking's Helmet, multiple small black crystal spikes placed around his neck, big white shoulder pads with five large black crystals attached to it, white rock-like four-fingered black crystal hands as its arms have dual large black crystals attached to them, the top and lower parts of his body was separated and floated around with a huge spiked black crystal ball placed in between them, a tall humanoid top-heavy muscularly slender build as his body was made out of extremely durable white rocks that has dark lines/spots on it, a small white torso with two large black crystals placed on each side, slim white rock-based legs that resemble shoes with multiple large black crystals attached to them, and has the Animatrix Symbol planted on his chest. Shadow has now transformed into his Evolved Crystalsapien Form named-
"Ultimate Chromastone!" The Now-Named Ultimate Chromastone exclaimed while striking a pose as he then floated up into the air to fly alongside the Omnitrix/Zennatrix Wielders.
"Stay back!" Gwen screamed while creating a large Mana Shield in front of her as Verdona cocked her head bemusedly and simply walked through the shield as if there was nothing there as, before the Superpowered Alien can do anything, Azure flew over to grab onto Gwen with his tail and flew her to safety as Azula roared loudly and fired a large blue laser at Verdona, who raised her hands as she created a portal in front of her and the energy blast flew through it as another portal appeared in front of a surprised Vanessa and yelped in surprise as her own laser blast flew out of it and was about to impact against her, only for Ultimate Chromastone to appear as he raised his hand and easily absorb the blast as Shadow then fired it back at Verdona.
"Hmph," Verdona says with a frown while creating a Mana Bubble around her as the laser blast collided against it and bounced off the bubble harmlessly as it fired off into the air. Disabling her Mana Bubble, Verdona was about to attack them when suddenly multiple boulders were thrown at her and impacted against her back as she slowly turned around and glared down at Kevin as she spread out her hair and allowed them to ensnare the Osmosian Boy as the Anodite was about to blast him, but stopped as a whistle rang out, gaining her attention as she turned her head and was surprised to see Knight and Sabrina grinning at her cheekily as they were both holding onto Ship, who had transformed into a giant rocket launcher.
"Hey, Verdona, I have a question! You keep blabbering on how Anodites are these all-powerful beings, so tell me can one survive a missile explosion!"
"Ship, fire!" Sabrina ordered as Ship beeped loudly and fired a rocket at her as it impacted Verdona's chest, causing her to be sent flying in the air as she crashed against Gwen's house and a dust cloud appeared.
"Okay, that was annoying." A deadpan, uninjured Verdona says with her arms crossed as she floated off from the wrecked roof and made her way over to hover in the air as her attention was brought over to Gwen, who was flying through the air on a Mana Platform as she fired multiple Mana Bolts up at her and Ultimate Chromastone flew by as he absorbed all of the mana bolts and then joined his hands together to fire a huge rainbow blast at Verdona, whose eyes widened a bit as she noticed that the energy blast had expanded in size in mid-air and was quick to lower her hand as, the minute she touched the energy blast, Verdona was able to transmit it into bubbles.
"She can do that?!"
"I think she just did." Ultimate Chromastone says blankly before narrowing his singular eye as a flash of purple light covered his body, and, once it dies down, we see that Shadow has transformed into an 8-feet-tall Male Geochelone Aerio as he resembled a turtle-like alien with pupilless purple eyes that have dark black rings, two holes that act as a nose, a small mouth, large flipper-like arms with the tips of his arms also having three holes each as they extend finger-like claws, dark green skin, a circular body shape with a dark brown shell that has eight holes in it, stumpy legs, and has the Animatrix Symbol planted on his chest. His name is-
"Terraspin!" The Now-Named Terraspin exclaimed while retracting his head into his shell as his fins became triangular and his legs combine into a similar shape as he flew up into the air at high speeds and fired a massive gust of wind that impacted against a surprised Verdona, sending her flying up into the air as Azure flew towards him with a smirk on his face.
"My Grandma, what big trouble you have!" Azure shouted while opening his mouth as he then fired a big green energy blast down at Verdona, who didn't have time to react as the energy blast impacted against her body and sent her crashing down into the ground.
"She's weakening!" Gwen exclaimed with a smile before yelping in surprise as a fed-up Verdona flew off the ground and spread out her arms before dive-bombing into the ground as she was about to impact against Gwen, only for Azula to appear as she tailwhipped her into the air and smirking Azure delivered a powerful punch that sends her crashing down into the ground as Verdona whimpered a bit, but before she could try and get up, Terraspin flew over to her as he then transformed back into his Normal Form with a flash of purple light before a flash of red light covered his body as we see Shadow transforming into a Predator Form.
Once the flash of red light dies down, we see that Shadow has now transformed into a 6-feet-tall male Electrudinea as he resembles a giant freaking worm with ten pupilless light purple eyes on his head and back, a long black spine that runs down from his head to his tail, a giant mouth that was filled with a row of white teeth as its insides were colored salmon pink, four large black tentacles attached to his mouth, an extremely long black-skinned worm-like body with a light gray underbelly and multiple dark purple glowing lines planted all over his body and has the Xennotrix Symbol planted on his forehead, placed in-between his ten eyes. His name is-
"Paraslight!" The Now-Named Paraslight exclaimed through the communication system placed inside of the Xennotrix Symbol as he flew down to crash down on top of Verdona and opened up his mouth to start absorbing her Mana Energy, causing Verdona to grit her teeth and screamed in pain as Kevin ran up to them and lift a boulder ready to smash Verdona with it, but then he pauses as he realized who he was going to hit.
"Dude, I don't think I can pound your Grandma!"
"Ah ha ha, ha ha ha...oh wait, you're serious...let me laugh even harder! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Paraslight laughed, momentarily getting distracted as he stopped absorbing a now relieved Verdona's energy.
"Why is he laughing?" A clueless Sabrina asked as Gwen and Knight looked disgusted by the joke as Ben laughed immaturely at it before calming down as he sees the girls' annoyed looks and gave them a sheepish grin.
"I will tell you when you're older," Azula stated with a sweatdrop as Azure turned to Kevin.
"That's okay, Kev. We're teaching her to mind her Mana." Azure said with a laugh as Verdona laughs with him.
"Good one, Ben."
"Was not." Kevin protested with a pout.
"It was," Paraslight says with Vanessa and the others nodding in agreement before they jumped back in surprise as Verdona suddenly teleported away while the Kids were distracted and appeared floating above them as Verdona then spread out her limbs and started absorbing all of the life force from her environment.
"She's drawing mana from millions of things around her." Shadow concluded.
"The grass!" Kevin added in.
"The trees!" Gwen exclaimed.
"Us!" Azure shouted.
"And billions of insects that are crawling around us! Such power is immeasurable! Is this the true power of the Anodites, or is it only a taste of it?!" Azula asked one in particular as Verdona stopped absorbing and grinned down at the terrified teens below her.
"I'm really enjoying this!" Verdona screams as she raises her hands and then fired a blast down at Kevin, surprising him as the Anodite transmute him to be a living statue, making him unable to move or take off his armor as Ship saw this and started beeping at Verdona angrily as the Old Alien was annoyed by the beeping as she held out her hand and blasted Ship out of Sabrina and Knight's hands as the Galvanic Mechamorph beeped and squirmed in pain before blacking out as he looked over at his owner sadly and turned into a puddle.
"Ship!?" Sabrina called out worriedly as Verdona shot a mini mana blast at her, not hurting her as it merely caused her to go sleepy and fell down asleep.
"Leave them alone!" Knight screamed angrily as she was about to pull out her blaster to attack her again, only for Verdona to raise her hand as she fired a Mana Blast at her, causing her limbs to split apart like springs as Knight crashed down into the ground, stunned.
"I should go out more often." Verdona mused before noticing that a furious Azure, Azula, and Paraslight (Who propelled himself into the air by firing an energy blast out of his mouth) were flying towards her, trying to avenge their comrades, only for Verdona to yawn boredly as she raised her arms and, suddenly, all of them were timed out as the Trio transformed back into their Normal Forms in mid-air, leaving them vulnerable enough for Verdona to latch onto them with her telekinesis and slammed them down into the ground, hard enough that a crater was formed around them as they were knocked out cold by the collision.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Luna screamed while glaring at Verdona angrily with her eyes and mouth glowing pink as, with a huge flash of pink light, she had transformed into her real form, which resembles 100% like Verdona...man, why do all Anodites look the same? That is so boring. I hate it when Ben 10 has Alien Species look the same. It works for a few species like Petrosapiens, but, if everyone looks the same, that kind of ruins the fun, you know? Anyway, back to the story.
"VERDONA! YOU BASTARD!" Luna screamed while discarding her Revonnahgander Skin as it landed near Gwen's Parents, causing them to comically back away from it in shock as they then winced when a furious Luna took off into the air and headed straight towards Verdona, who was surprised by the outburst as she turned around and grunted in pain as Luna collided against her and sends them flying up into the air as she started punching her relentlessly with her attacks actually HURTING Verdona this time around as Gwen's Grandmother growled irritably and began punching her back with both of their attacks creating multiple pink shockwaves in the air as they began entering a slugfest for a couple of seconds before getting tired as they separated from each other and cup their hands as small pink Mana Ball appeared in their hands.
"Tātoru hakai-ha!/Gyarikkubīmukyanon!" Verdona and Luna screamed in unison while firing two huge beams of pure mana energy at each other, as the minute they collided against one another, a huge Mana Explosion occurred that sends them both flying back.
"If Mom and Luna continue with this, they could kill either themselves or accidentally destroy the city or worse!" A frantic Frank screamed with even Nathalie looking nervous by this fight as Gwen heard this, and her eyes narrowed in fierce determination as she mumbled a Magic Spell under her breath, and her body was covered in a flash of blue light as Gwen teleported herself in-between of Verdona and Luna just as they were about to charge at each other as the Young Anodite created a mana platform below her to float around in mid-air and held out her hands as she created two large Mana Hands and use them to make a stopping motion.
"ENOUGH! BOTH OF YOU STOP RIGHT NOW!" Gwen screamed, getting the Older Anodites' attention as they turned to her, and Gwen glared at them sharply as she then turned to her Grandmother. "Okay, you're going to listen to me and stop this meaningless fight! I'm not going! I love having powers, but I like my life better. I like fighting monsters and saving the world!" Gwen shouted as Verdona scoffed and rolled her eyes as she placed her hands on her hips and floated closer to her Granddaughter.
"Anodites help tons of people, scads, you can use your powers however you like...after you master them in 60 or 70 years, give or take." Verdonna says with a shrug as Gwen glared at her and shakes her head.
"It's more than that! I like swimming and school and breaking boards with my hands and running and feeling tired afterwards and...kissing boys..." Gwen says the last part quietly as she looked over at Kevin, remembering the small peck she gave him in the room as she blushed. "I mean, all those good times you had with Grandpa?"
"Oh, I was just a kid having my fun. Trust me. Grown up parties are so much better." Verdonna said with a fake smile as Gwen leans in and saw a twinkle of longing and sadness in her eyes as she gained a sympathetic look.
"Grandma Verdona, admit it. You miss it, and you miss Max. That's what brought you here in the first place, didn't it?"
"You know, the Kid has a point. Ever since I met you, all you talk about is Max and your Kids." Luna pointed out while flying over to the Girls as Verdona pouted somberly and glanced down at the ground.
"I know, but...Max should have been more like us. He had a spark all his own. He was an adventurer, troublemaker, he was a lot like your little friend, uh...um...Curtis." Verdona said while glancing down at Kevin, who was in his statue form as he grunted.
"It's...Kevin..."
"Energy Beings talking here."
"Man, racist much?" Vanessa asked playfully while groaning in pain as she and the others woke up from their unconscious state and struggle to get up from the floor due to their injuries as Gwen gave her Grandma a scolding look.
"No, while I maybe an Energy Being, I'm also Half Human. Just like Grandpa Max was." Gwen said as Verdona tried to retort but couldn't come up with one as she looked up into space and started remembering all those times she had with Max as a lone tear ran down her eye.
"Hmmm, your Grandfather told me that while I may look alien, I'm more Human than anyone he has ever met in his life. Maybe I had forgotten that...but still, what I'm offering you is better! Think about how many new powers you'll have! The people you can save! The Bad Guys you can defeat!" Verdona says while flying around Gwen as she smiled weakly at her Grandmother.
"I like having powers, but I love my friends and family more. Besides, it's not like I'm completely denying being trained under you. It's just that I don't want to leave. How about we follow Shadow and Knight's lead, and you can come over to Earth whenever you're free to train me? This could be some quality Granddaughter and Grandmother Bonding Time. I can even show you what you have been missing on Earth. What do you say, Grandma?" Gwen asked with a warm smile as Verdona felt her breath be taken away for a bit, remembering the almost exact words that Max had told her long ago when he asked her to stay on Earth to marry him and have kids as Verdona then smiled and nodded.
"Okay, that can work, I guess," Verdona says softly with Luna and the others looking happy and proud of the situation as Gwen's Grandmother then snapped her fingers, and suddenly they were all transported back to the Ground as Ben, Vanessa, and Shadow no longer had injuries, Sabrina had woken up and was delighted to see her beloved Ship reform back into his default shape, Kevin and Knight were transformed back into their normal forms as the Mana Barrier around them had disappeared, and Verdona made sure to not only fix her Son's House but also wiped away their Neighbors' Memories of the event so that no one will find out about the Teens' Powers. "Alright, this has been fun, but Momma's gotta go."
"How did you do that?" A shocked Gwen asked as Verdona turned to smirk at her cockily.
"Don't worry, I will teach you to do that soon. Anyway, goodbye all." Verdona says while turning to the group as she then smiled at Ben and Vannesa. "You two make a cute couple, and Ben? Way to stick up for your cousin. You remind me a lot of your Grandfather."
"Thanks, Grandma," Ben says with a smile as Vanessa grabbed his hand and nods at Verdona as Luna then turned to her Grandchildren and flew over to hug them.
"Goodbye, Kiddos. Verdona and I promise to stop by every once in a while and teach you both and Gwen how to use your Anodite Powers. In the meantime, take care of each other."
"We will, Grandma." Shadow and Knight says with warm smiles while hugging her as when they let go of her, Verdona and Luna's hair suddenly started glowing brightly as they took off into space while flying at the speed of light as the rest of the Family watched them go with smiles on their faces, including Natalie as she was glad that she was finally gone.
"Come on, I know where this goes," Gwen says while gesturing at one of the Space Plants that Verdona left behind on the floor as she went over to pick it up, and, after fast forwarding in time, we see the gang, including Gwen's parents, standing by Max and Verdona's tree as Gwen places the alien plant below and stood up as she and the others stared at the heart shape carving on the tree with beaming expressions on their faces as the flower glowed pink before fading away.
