A Power Couple
Chapter 1
Lucas knew his first book signing wouldn't be a big success since he was new in this world. But there was no one here. Which made him wonder and fear that he would end as a basketball coach.
If that did happen he would take pride in it but he wanted a career to really raise a future family on.
"We should pack it Lucas. Maybe try another location." His editor suggested.
Just as he was getting up from the table and planned to put the books back in boxes.
He heard footsteps then heard the sound of a familiar voice.
His gaze landed on her as she locked in on him.
"Brooke Davis." Lucas said.
"Lucas Scott." Brooke replied.
He stared at her eyes wide. She looked alot different.
"Are you?" Lucas asked.
"I'm pregnant and you're the father."
"We're having twins." Brooke announced.
The color from Lucas's face drained.
"When? How? I mean. Twins?" Lucas rambled.
"You remember that night." Brooke replied. Feeling herself blush.
"I remember it really well. Wow." Lucas said. Reaching over to rub her belly. Stunned when he felt a kick.
Lucas made a mental note to speak with his editor later. Brooke and her even more curve filled. Glowing face. And overall joy
Had pulled him in and he just wanted to talk to her and figure out what this meant for the two of them.
