authors note : Brooke saw it years ago when she walked in to the lucas's home office and she told him she felt like she was intruding. Lindsay didn't take Lucas's firing anything personal. The two had built a bond during their time working together.
"I need to know what happend now not when you come back and we have breakfast like nothing is wrong." Brooke said.
Once he was dressed. "I left before anything more happened." Lucas replied.
"That wasn't what it sounded like when i called her."
"She was honest with her words."
"It seemed like alot more then talking happened that night."
"I deserve the truth Lucas." Brooke said.
"I wouldn't do that. I slept in my car." Lucas replied.
"We can and will move on from this." Lucas added in before leaving the room.
Brooke sighed deeply. She went on to shower get dressed. Have breakfast. And left their home she drove around. Eventually ending up at Lindsey's house.
She got out of the car knocked on the door.
And prepared herself to see this woman again.
When the door opened in front of her. She was brought back five years.
"Mrs. Scott. What are you doing here?" Lindsey questioned.
"You and my husband kissing in a back alley."
"Is this a pattern of yours? Or are you just that desperate?" Brooke asked.
"Mrs. Scott. You're marriage isn't my business but Lucas reached out to me. He clearly didn't feel comfortable coming to you."
"Do i regret kissing him? No. If he reaches out to me again."
"I have no reason to decline him. And i won't." Lindsey replied.
