A Power Couple
Chapter 30
When i got home. Lucas was pacing in the entryway. I don't think i've ever seen him like that. The worry and concern on his face.
"Tell me that we're okay. That you believe me."
"I'm you're husband. You are the love of my life."
"This is the last thing you need to waste energy on."
"Did you sleep at all?" Lucas questioned.
"I went to Lindsey's house. I talked to her and she told me you reached out to her. You had Haley you're mom any of you're guy friends Nathan. Yet you asked Lindsey to come and meet you."
"Why is that Luke?" Brooke asked.
"I don't know. I just know nothing matters more to me then this family." Lucas replied.
"I want to focus on you our sons. This baby."
"All i need you to know is that the man you married hasn't gone anywhere. Whatever Lindsey said she's just trying to play into you're insecurity and you're fear."
"You're entire world." Lucas insisted.
Brooke gazed up at him. "If you say nothing happened. Then i believe you." She replied.

A few weeks later
Baby was the size of a cucumber. I was now 18 weeks. 5 months in.
I would be feeling real movement soon and i was so ready for that.
The boys couldn't be more excited and hopeful about their new sibling.
"You seem tense and stressed. You know none of that is good for you or the baby. I really need you to take of yourself."
"Negativity gets passed on to the baby too." My OB advised.
"I thought Lucas was supposed to be you're partner in this."
"Keeping you calm stress free." She said.
Brooke sighed deeply. "I'm taking of myself. My boys."
"This baby. That's all i can handle." She replied.
