Merlin is confident he has the power to finally finish her off, but the sorceress has a few tricks up her sleeve, and in an unexpected turn of events, Merlin ends up being the one fighting for his life.

A new fashion trend has hit Camelot, but Arthur isn't a fan.

Balinor escapes Camelot after Uther kills all of the Dragonlords, leaving behind a pregnant Hunith. Years later, Merlin, who struggles to conceal his magic, befriends Prince Arthur. Their bond is tested when Arthur learns of Merlin's magic, but his loyalty to Merlin remains steadfast, though their relationship is marred by the weight of secrets and struggle for equality.

On a hunting trip gone wrong, Arthur discovers Merlin's magic and banishes him - but not before making a wish he'll come to regret. The next day, Arthur has no memory of the magic, and wakes up to a Camelot that is not his own. Everything is different, everyone seems terrified of him, and worst of all… Merlin has vanished without a trace, as if he never existed in the first place.

A simple childhood accident stirs up fears in Camelot's council about Uther's lack of another heir if Arthur dies. They convince a reluctant Uther to remarry. His bride? Princess Hunith of Essetir. Can a marriage of political convenience lead to love, when its participants both still love another? And if Merlin's secret come to light, will love prove more powerful than hate?

Arthur's birthday is coming, and Merlin is just trying to survive. Arthur's being more of a pain than usual, accusing Merlin of being at the core of every noble's desires. Oh, and that Merlin can't possibly have a loved one, because he's far too annoying for anyone to put up with. Arthur's right, but Merlin has a plan to wipe that smug look off the prince's face.

What if after handling the Crystal of Neahtid in the the Witch's Quickening, Merlin wasn't just given a vision of the Great Dragon destroying Camelot. What if he was given insight into the events that would take place during the Fires of Idirsholas. What if the fates gave Merlin a second chance to set things right, stop Morgause once and for all and perhaps even save a friend.

As Arthur and Merlin amend the laws easing the use of magic, opposition erupts from both nobles and commoners. While the king, queen, and knights prepare for the Golden Age, Dodd-Killian and Mordred plot revenge against them all even as a new threat rises from Escetir. Can Merlin and Arthur avoid a civil conflict and war with Lot before Dodd-Killian and Mordred strike against them?

Follows canon but with my own arranged marriage spin on it. What happens when Hunith makes a mistake and is forced on the run with her infant son? What happens when Camelot knights find her twenty years later? What happens when Arthur learns he's betrothed to a peasant boy? Will Merlin be able to stand among royalty? Will these two different boys survive each other? Review!

The Labyrinth of Gedref... with a twist. In the show Arthur was partially transformed into a donkey, Gwen fully transformed into a deer, and even Freya is cursed to be a bastet. What if Arthur had to experience what it was like being cursed into an animal and had to find a way to break the curse and pass Ahnora's tests completely on his own and without Merlin?

A love story, told at first through a series of letters, and concluding with a ball. (A Merthian slow-burn romance, set at an undisclosed and fictional point in the canon timeline - think Regency era romance with a dash of magic)

Merlin and Arthur go on recon mission. However, nothing ever goes as planned, and they get separated. Merlin is kidnapped. Arthur must find a way to rescue his ever loyal servant before the war begins. But what will he do when he sees Merlin at Morgana's side? What had she done to get the mighty Emrys to lead her army? Is Merlin still the Merlin Arthur was so desperate to rescue?

Merlin didn't make it out of his encounter with the Lamia unscathed, or so Arthur thinks when he slays the beast and finds Merlin slumped against a wall and bleeding. When he learns the true source of the injuries he is furious. Cue hurt Merlin and a caring, very worried Arthur. End of the Lamia episode but established Merthur, and the knights actually injured Merlin.

After Morgana attacks Helva, Merlin must find whatever she is after before she does. With the help of a stranger, it seems possible. Or is the stranger just leading him to his death?

Basically it will be 50 various scenarios where the show's finale could have gone slightly differently resulting in Arthur surviving explored in drabbles. Some are funny while others are sadder. You have been warned. Currently at Chapter 10: Numbers. Cross-posted on AO3.
