Ch 2
"So, what are you gonna do about the water monster?" Petra's best friend Ned asked in their hotel room.
"Nothing. It's dead already." Petra replied. "I just wanna spend sometime with you guys."
"Yeah, I can understand that." Ned said. He knew just how many superhero missions she had been on already so he could see why she wanted a break.
"Speaking of spending time, how did the whole thing with Betty get started?" Petra asked.
When she'd seen them on the plane, at first they barely noticed each other but then all of a sudden they were together.
"We actually got placed in the right seats next to each other, so that's something." Ned said. "I had just finished my first fruit cobbler and-"
Suddenly, a tranq dart zoomed into the air and slammed into the back of Ned's neck.
Ned blinked once, then fell flat on his face.
Petra had a really bad feeling about this which slowly got worse as the person Petra least expected to see walked in.
Nick Fury.
"So nice to finally meet you, Spider-Girl."
Petra closed her eyes once, then slowly opened them as she realized one thing.
There was literally no escape.
