It was a normal day at the hotel as Nathan cleaned the floor from Charlie's 'sharing is caring' seminar, which Alastor ended up sharing with a whole dead body he somehow managed to pull through. "Ugh… it smells like a skuntank lit a fresh one!" He commented before looking at the news as a story caught his eye.

"Breaking news in hell today!" Katie announced. "The Vee tower, home of hell's favorite overlord trio, was suddenly destroyed overnight!" It turned to footage of Yveltal's attack on the tower. "Footage here shows a large entity attacking the tower and leaving the scene!" It turned back to the news anchors. "The Vees themselves were rushed to the hospital and are being treated as we speak, as we had interviewed the overlords, one Velvette had this to say!" Tom reported. "'We won't pester those hotel assholes ever again, just keep that psychopathic kid away from us!' It's clear that they're in need of a shrink."

Nathan immediately freaked out, knowing all too well that he was the one that did it, he immediately turned off the television just as the others arrived. "Hey Nathan!" Vaggie said as the aforementioned person tensed. "Oh hey guys!" He said, smiling nervously. "Uh you ok?" Vaggie asked, concerned. "Yup 100% fine!" Nathan replied, giving an arm pump of reassurance. "I was just cleaning…" Suddenly a small green phone-like device fell out of his bag and the screen displayed a holographic photo of him with a small frog-like Pokémon with light blue skin, yellow eyes and a bubble scarf around its neck. "What's that?" Angel asked. "Oh that's my holocaster, it's kinda like an advanced phone." Nathan explained, picking up the holo-caster and inspecting the photo. "Heh! Man that takes me back!" He said, smiling before pulling out his Greninja. "Hey Night tide, check this out! It's you when you were a froakie!" The Greninja then inspected the photo before recoiling in embarrassment. "Wait, that's the same Pokémon?" Asked Angel. "Technically no, this is what he was like back when I first got him!" Nathan answered looking at the photo and smiling. "I still remember it like it was yesterday…."

"I'm not sure if I'm ready to have one!" A young 10 year old Nathan said hastily as a young Serena dragged him along. "Nathan, you're 10 years old, having a Pokémon at that age is basically like a right of passage!" She replied. "And hopefully you'll see that Pokémon aren't as bad as you think they are!" Nathan gulped as he sat down with his friends, Terino, a slightly overweight kid with black hair tied in a small ponytail and dressed in a black and blue vanillite shirt and orange pants and a yellow satchel around his chest. Trevor, an orange haired kid with a white shirt and gray vest with a green backpack on and black pants. And Shauna, a pigtailed brown haired girl in a pink shirt, blue skirt and pink sandals. "So did you bring them!?" Shauna asked Trevor. "Whoa slow down! At least let Nathan cool off first!" Trevor replied. "But since you're so eager…." Trevor then proceeded to pull out a canister with three pokeballs inside. "Here you go." Nathan immediately scooted back upon seeing them. "Ugh, I should've known he'd react like that…." Trevor said, holding his head in annoyance.

"Look Nate, we know you and Pokémon don't get along… but maybe actually having one can help you get through your fears!" Shauna said reassuringly. "Hey, I never said I was afraid of Pokémon!" Nathan argued. "Oh yeah, remember our trip to Fortree city in hoenn?" Serena recalled. "Ha! The moment he realized that he had a nincada in his face while he was asleep in the middle of the night, he straight up howled in terror!" Terino laughed. "I think he woke up the other residents as well!" Nathan's face turned red with embarrassment. "Are you guys gonna give me a Pokémon or just to make him relive bad memories?" He argued. "Ok, yeah… we'll stop taunting you." Trevor then opened the canister and opened the three pokeballs. "Here's your opportions." The Pokémon then revealed themselves to be a small hamster-like Pokémon with a green back with several thorns coming out of it, a small yellow fox-like Pokémon with red tufts of fur coming out of its ears, and a small frog-like Pokémon with light blue skin, yellow eyes and a bubble scarf around its neck. "This is chespin, the grass type Pokémon, fennekin, the fire type Pokémon, and froakie, the water type Pokémon!"

The three Pokémon then cheered in playfulness before coming closer. Nathan immediately reacted by bolting from his chair and running in terror, determined, the three Pokémon followed him. The chase led them to the side of the street where Nathan hid under a table, the chespin and fennekin were the first to come towards him. "Gah! Get away, get away, get away!" He yelled terrified, shooing them away with his hat. The two Pokémon immediately took it as a sign and walked away, but Froakie however turned closer. "Don't touch me!" He yelled terrified. The froakie then smirked before reaching into its bubble scarf and pulled out a small pokeball, and handed it to him. Nathan then looked at the froakie as it pushed the ball towards him. "Wait, you want to go with me?" He asked, the froakie answered with a head shake. "Nathan then grabbed the pokeball and put it in his bag, before he grabbed the froakie.

Soon after he returned with froakie in his arms. "Well, look who's finally getting over his fears!" Tierno commented. "I see you ended up choosing Froakie huh?" Trevor said. "Actually, he chose me!" Nathan corrected, shocking the others. "Cool! What are you gonna name it?" Shauna asked. "Not sure…" Nathan then thought of a couple of names for his new Pokémon. "Hmm… how about… Night Tide?" He suggested, looking at the Pokémon. "You like that?" The froakie cheered upon that nickname. "Alright! Night tide it is!"

Present day

"Awe, that's adorable!" Said Charlie from behind, startling the trainer. "You know kid, we opened up about ourselves to youse, but you never opened up to us!" Angel commented. "Not to mention you kept mentioning your first journey, what was that like anyways?" Husk asked, Nathan then smiled before sitting on the couch. "Well how about I share some stories with you!" He said before turning to the princess. "You wanna hear some Charlie?" The royal was about to say something but stopped herself, giving a slight glare and walking away. "Yeesh, she's still upset with you?" Angel asked, concerned. "Give her time, kid, I'm sure she'll come to understand what happened." Husk said, reassuringly before the others took their seats. "So what memories does Nathan have?"

The trainer then scrolled through photos he took, landing on one where he was holding a small bird-like Pokémon in his hands. "There's me when I caught my very first Pokémon!" He smirked upon seeing it before scrolling some more, but landed on a photo of him showing a small badge that was shaped like a bug in his hand. "Ha! This is when I earned my very first gym badge!" "Gym badge?" Angel asked. "Did you earn it in an exercise competition?" Alastor added. "Oh no, every year the people of my world host an event called the Gym Challenge, where Pokémon trainers large and small compete in a series of 8 different gyms across the region to battle and see if they're worthy of becoming the Pokémon league champion!" Nathan explained before looking back at the photo. "It was short but it certainly left an impression…."

4 years ago…

Nathan carefully strolled across the spider web before making it to the end where a small tent with several pieces of camera equipment and a blond curly haired woman sitting in the center with a camera in her hands, she had a white tank top with a cream strap around her upper waist and another camera on her side, a pair of knee length pants with two large pockets on each side, a green wristband around her left wrist a purple necklace around her neck and she wore a pair of combat boots with green laces. "Greetings!" The woman said proudly before observing the trainer. "That demented expression, that glint in your eyes says that you're up to the challenge!" "Do I really look like that?" Nathan commented, looking at himself. "I mean I did start this challenge!" "Even the smallest seed has the potential to blossom into a beautiful flower!" The woman replied confidently. "It's fantastic, just fantastic!" The woman then leaned forward. "You say this is your first time challenging a gym?" "Uh yeah…?" "Fantastic!" The woman cheered. "Whether it's the tears of frustration that follow a loss Or the blossoming of joy that comes with victory, they're both subjects for my camera!" The woman then aimed her camera close. "Oh I take it you're a photographer then?" "You know it! You might recognize my work on bug types monthly!" "Wait you're Viola? Aren't you responsible for those works in my dad's magazines?" "Let's not talk about those, we all make bad decisions…." The woman, Viola, then pulled out a pokeball. "Now come at me! My lens is always focused on victory, I won't let anything ruin this subject!"

Viola started the battle with her first Pokémon, a small water strider-like Pokémon with a bowl cut and four legs. "Surskit!" "Ok… let's do this…." Nathan said, preparing himself before pulling out his pokeball. "Go get 'em Night Tide!" He immediately threw his pokeball and deployed his froakie. "Surskit! Use Infestation!" The small Pokémon then summoned a small wave of insects that bit at the Pokémon. "Gah! Uh uh… use Pound!" The froakie Immediately leaped up and smacked the opponent in the face with its fist. "Bubble, surskit!" The Pokémon immediately shot a string of bubbles at the opponent but did little damage. "Use Quick attack, Night Tide!" The froakie immediately rushed up and smacked the surskit in the face. "Another infestation surskit!" The surskit immediately generated a small swarm but the froakie resisted well. "Now or never Night Tide, use another Pound attack!" The froakie then struck the opponent one more time before it was defeated.

"You're pretty good, kid!" Viola said, returning her surskit. "But can you handle this? Go Vivillon!" She sent out her next Pokémon, a small butterfly-like Pokémon with beautiful pink and white patterned wings. "Ooh… that's pretty…!" Nathan said as he pulled out his Pokédex.

Vivillon, the scale Pokémon and the evolved form of spewpa.

A bug and flying type.

When spewpa evolves into this Pokémon, the color pattern of its wings is determined by what climate and environment it is currently residing in.

"Ok a bug and flying type, I can deal with that!" Nathan said, putting his dex away and returning his froakie. "Go get 'em fletcher!" He then sent out a fletchling that readied itself for battle. "Vivillon! Use Harden!" Viola yelled as the Pokémon hardened its body and upgraded its defenses. "Fletcher! Use peck!" The fletchling then flew to the vivillon and struck it with his sharp beak, damaging it greatly. "Now Quick Attack!" The Pokémon immediately struck first before the opponent could attempt to attack. "Counter with infestation!" The enemy then unleashed a swarm onto the fletchling but managed to resist it well. "Now another peck!" With one strike of a peck the opposing vivillon was down and Nathan was the winner. "Hahaha! Yeah!" He cheered as he picked up his froakie and hugged him close to his chest with Fletcher landing on his shoulder. "You guys did great out there!"

"Young trainer, you… no it wasn't you alone." Viola said as she returned her vivillon. "You and your Pokémon showed me a whole new depth of field! Fantastic! Just fantastic!" "Thanks!" Nathan commented. "So by order of the Pokémon league rules, I hereby bestow you this Bug badge!" Viola then handed Nathan the Bug badge as he took it and posed with it. "Oh yeah! I got the Bug badge!" "Oh! Hold that pose!" Viola said as she pulled out her camera. "I've got to get a picture of this!" Nathan then held his pose as his Pokémon joined in. "Watch the pidgey!"

Present day.

"Shortly after that photo, she handed me a Technical machine with the move Infestation downloaded into it and I was off on my journey!" Nathan concluded. "Sounds like you became a pro at battling!" Vaggie said. "Well I was a novelist at best!" Nathan replied before scrolling through more photos. "There's the time fletcher evolved into fletchinder!" He commented. "I renamed him cinderwing when I found out he gained the fire type!" He then landed on a photo of him with a small Tyrannosaurus rex Pokémon that appeared to be standing proudly. "Awe! Look at this Titanasur!" He said cutely, pulling out his tyrantrum that looked at the photo. "It's you when I first got you!" "That oversized dinosaur used to look like that?" Angel asked, surprised. "Believe it or not, yeah!" Nathan said casually. "When I heard that tyrantrums ruled the world during the Jurassic period I opted to give him that name! I got him after picking a jaw fossil from a scientist in the glittering cave… which coincidentally was also the very first time I encountered Team Flare…."

After making it through the narrow path thanks to his evolved froakie turned Frogadier, Nathan made his way into what looked like a mine, there in the center was someone dressed in a fire red dress suit with matching hair and glasses. "What's this?" The man asked as he turned to the trainer. "Uh… hi?" Nathan replied hastily before the man rushed towards him. "Well well. What do we have here?" The man said observing the boy. "A nosy little trainer has come poking around!" "I wouldn't say I'm nosy, I'm just looking for a scientist is all!" Nathan corrected. "Well listen up! We're a fashionable team whose very name makes people tremble in fear!" The man said before making an F pose. "Team Flare!" "Never heard of you…." "Well you clearly aren't very smart!" The Team Flare grunt argued as he stopped posting. "Team Flare's goal is to make it so we're the only ones who are happy!" "Ok… what about everyone else?" "We don't give a crap about what happens to other trainers and Pokémon!" "What about the Pokémon you own?" "THAT'S A DIFFERENT STORY! Look, just get out of here kid! Don't you know not to play with fire?" "I have a water type on my side, if there's a fire he's gonna help me put it out!" The Team Flare grunt laughed. "So someone thinks he's a superhero now doesn't he?" He continued. "Someday everyone not in Team Flare will get burned away! Starting with you!"

The grunt then pulled out a pokeball as Nathan did the same. "Obliterate him houndour!" He then threw the ball and out came a black and orange dog-like Pokémon with bones around its body. "Go for it, Night Tide!" Nathan yelled as he tossed his pokeball and out came his Frogider, who while retaining his frog like appearance and bubble scarf, his limbs were longer and a dark blue outline across his face like a mask. "Use smog!" The grunt yelled just as the houndour did as it was told. "Dodge and use Water pulse!" The Frogider then stepped aside just as the poison attack struck and the Pokémon immediately followed with a wave of water that managed to damage it greatly, knocking it out in the process. "So that's how it's gonna be huh?" The grunt then unleashed his next Pokémon, a blue eyeless bat like Pokémon with purple wings and long strings for legs. "Zubat!" "Zubat! Use supersonic!" "Dodge and lick 'em!" "Frogadier?" "As in the move, Lick!" The Frogider then leaped upward, dodging the sonic ring, and licked the Zubat. "Leech life, Zubat!" Zubat then bit into the Frogadier, stealing his energy and healing himself in the process. "Retaliate with another water pulse!" With one more water pulse the Zubat was deafened.

The grunt held his head and fell to his knees in defeat. "You may have beaten me, but when I lose, I go out in style!" "Yeah, keep telling yourself that!" Nathan replied as he returned his Pokémon. "You better watch yourself though! I'm not the only member of Team Flare!" The grunt growled as Nathan passed him. After a few minutes of walking, he was then stopped by two Team Flare grunts, one male and the other female. "The f*(k?" The male grunt yelled. "I'm looking for a scientist down here, do you happen to know where he is?" Nathan asked, politely. "Asking us for help? Ha! We're Team Flare, kid! We put the fashion into fear!" The male grunt laughed. "Isn't that what Halloween costumes are for?" Nathan corrected, making the two grunts growl in anger. "Well we were looking for fossils, but discovered a kid!" The female grunt commented. "Nathan!" The trainer turned around to see Serena by his side. "So there's two members of Team Flare this time." He commented. "I take it you've encountered them?" Nathan commented. "Yeah, I had a run in with one earlier!" Serena commented. "You ready to take them on, neighbor?" Serena asked as she pulled out her pokeball. "You know it!" Nathan replied as he pulled out a great ball as well. The two then faced the grunts. "If you're trying to make yourselves happy we won't stop you!" Serena said. "But when you threaten people like my friend here, it's like who do you think you people are, anyway?" "Fine kids, we'll burn you both then!"

"Get them croagunk!" "Tear em a new one scraggy!" The two grunts then sent out the croagunk and the scraggy. "Take 'em down espurr!" "Drop these clowns, Keniticx!" The two trainers sent out their Pokémon, an espurr and Ralts, to battle. "Kineticx, us confusion on croagunk!" "Espurr, protect with Light screen!" The espurr then generated a barrier around it and its ally whilst Keneticx unleashed a psychic blast on the croagunk, instantly k-oing it. "Scraggy, headbutt!" The scraggy immediately rammed its head into the Ralts. "Espurr, use Disarming voice!" The espurr then called out a powerful voice that managed to ko the scraggy.

With them the winners they cheered as the two grunts fell to their knees.

Present day

"Once we found the scientist, he offered to give us a fossil as thanks for driving Team Flare out." Nathan continued. "I ended up choosing the jaw fossil, took it to a fossil restoration machine, and Titanasur was reborn!" "Where, he started out as this strange little zombified abomination?" Alastor quipped. "That's… one way to put it!" Nathan replied, before continuing to scroll. "Wait, is that…" Angel pointed to a picture of Nathan feeding baby food to a tyrunt that sat in a high chair and wearing a bib while whining. The photo made Titanasur recoil in embarrassment. "Nurturing him like a baby?" Angel finished, while laughing. "Well yeah… he was really demanding, even if he's satisfied with one thing he's wanting another!" "Tyrantrum Tyrantrum!" The Pokémon groaned. "Alright alright… I'll move on!" Nathan said gradually before scrolling more and landing on a photo of someone with purple hair and a fluffy white dress. "Oh! This is when I first met Diantha!" "Who?" Vaggie asked. "She was the previous champion of the Kalos region!" Nathan explained. "She's also a famous movie star in Pokestar studios! Starring in movies like 'Legend of the Fallen Trainer' 'Galaxy fighters 2: Battle of the Void' and 'Agent Grace: Beautiful Justice'!" "I guess that makes you the person who knows two celebrities!" Angel said, pointing at himself. "Yeah, though she did tell me that she had some films that she regretted to this day! 'Galaxy fighters 4: Rise of the Axis Guardians' 'Blue Dynamo' based on the comics, and the 2007 remake of 'The Creeping Hour'!" Nathan Listed. "Which she did have some right there, Galaxy Fighters 4 and The Creeping Hour remake were awful! Still she was quite a great person to meet!"

Once Nathan and Serana entered the cafe, where they saw across from him was Lysandre and someone with purple hair tied in a bun and wearing a pure white puffy jacket, shirt with gold belt and necklace, white shoes, and long pink stockings. "Oh, it's Lysandre and… is that Diantha?" Serana said, looking at the purple haired woman. "Just so you know, Lysandre is…" "The founder and head of Lysandre Labs, developers of the holo-caster and all around technical genius? You know it!" Nathan finished. "But who's the lady?" "She's one of the most famous movie stars in the world after all!" Serana answered. "Is she the person who played princess Zetarus in Galaxy Fighters 2?" Nathan asked. "Yeah actually!" Serana answered before looking at the two. "I wonder what the two of them are doing here together?"

As this was happening, Lysandre seemed to have a hard time convincing the movie star. "You played a young girl so wonderfully in your debut on the silver screen!" Lysandre said. "Wouldn't you rather remain young and beautiful forever and always play such roles?" "What a strange question…." The woman, Diantha, said curiously. "Why would I want to play the same roles forever? Youth may be beautiful but it's not all there is to life." Lysandre's eyebrow raised. "Everything changes, I want to live and change like that too!" Diantha continued. "So I look forward to playing different roles as I get older! Besides, the last film I played in was a year ago and it was met with pretty mixed reviews…." "You were chosen to be a movie star, correct?" Lysandre questioned. "Isn't it your duty to be ever beautiful? Everything beautiful should stay young forever!" Diantha felt disturbed. "I would end the world in an instant so that beauty never fades!" Lysandre continued. "I can't stand the very thought of the world becoming uglier!"

"Hi Lysandre!" The red haired man flinched before turning. "Oh, hello Nathan…." He said grudgingly. "This is Diantha, one of the most accomplished movie stars in Kalos. She moves the multitude in her excellent acting, which is to say, she dedicates her life to make other people happy." "Nice to meet you Miss Diantha!" Nathan said, waving his hand. "I see you already met my new bestie!" "For the last time WE ARE NOT BESTIES!" Lysandre yelled, startling everyone in the cafe. "My apologies everyone! Go back to consuming!" Lysandre then turned back to his fan. "But still she is as elegant as a dancing swanna! Oh if everyone were like her, what a beautiful world that would be! Now if you'll excuse me…." Lysandre then walked away before Nathan then pulled him aside. "Before you go, SELFIE!" "DON'T YOU DARE!" but it was too late as Nathan took a picture with his holo caster, which caused a flash so bright it almost burned both Nathan and Lysandre's retinas. "AUG! MY EYES!" Lysandre yelled, covering his face as he walked away. "AGH! IT'S LIKE A FLASHBANG WENT OFF IN MY FACE!"

As Lysandre left, Diantha then approached the two trainers. "And who are you two?" She asked. "My name is Serena and this is…" "Nathan, right?" Diantha finished. "I heard Lysandre call you that, you both have such lovely names!" "Why thank you!" Nathan said before the movie star noticed the pokeballs on both trainers. "Oh! And you're both trainers! Don't your Pokémon look happy?" She said kindly. "I'm a bit of a trainer myself, see?" Diantha then revealed her Pokémon, a Gardivoir with a small bow in its hair, to them. "Right now I'm on my off time but I look forward to battling you someday!"

Present day

"She sounded like a nice person? Did you ever get to battle her?" Asked Vaggie. "Yeah, when she revealed herself to be the champion!" Nathan answered as he continued scrolling. "Once I beat her well, I became champion, leading me to where I am today!" "And the fact that Lysandre guy said the words, 'I would end the world in an instant' DIDN'T raise some red flags in your brain?" Angel commented. "Hey I was 10 at the time, It's not like I was Sherlock Holmes or something!" Nathan laughed. Once he kept scrolling he stopped at a photo that made his eyes widen. "Cool! This is when I got my mega ring!" "Mega ring?" Husk asked. "Is that some kind of cursed item that makes you a raging juggernaut?" Alastor asked. "It's actually this!" Nathan replied, showing his mega ring. "It's a relic that emmbuses certain Pokémon wielding mega stones and morphs them into extremely powerful versions of themselves." He explained. "I won it after battling Serena in a match to see who gets it."

As the two trainers were down to their last Pokémon, Nathan sent out his Pokémon, Frogider, and Serena sent out her Pokémon, Quilladin. "Get ready, Night Tide!" Nathan said as his Frogider stood determined while the quilladin did the same. "Use rollout, Quillidan!" The Quilladin then rolled up into a ball and charged straight for the opponent, ramming him. "Quick, use Aerial ace!" The Frogider then swiped the opponent left and right and damaged him quite a bit. "Another rollout, Quillidan!" "Dodge and use Lick!" The frog Pokémon then leaped upwards and gave him a good lick, startling the Quilladin enough to paralyze him. "Don't give up yet, Quilladin! Use Needle arm!" The Quillidan's arm then glowed up with several spines coming out of it and slammed the Frogadier directly in the face, damaging it radically.

Night tide was nearing its defeat as his trainer was worried, but before the opponent could strike again, the Frogider began to glow a bright blue light. Everyone in the room was shocked as this was happening, Night tide's body elongated and its thighs grew in size before the final result came in the form of a fully evolved Greninja. "GRENINJA!" Nathan was absolutely shocked as the Pokémon revealed its new form, before turning to his Pokédex.

Greninja, the ninja Pokémon and the evolved form of Frogadier

A water and dark type.

Greninja are known for their swift movements and powerful attacks, using a mucus they secrete from their thighs, they form it into throwing stars that can cut through solid metal. This technique is known as Water shuriken.

"Water shuriken huh?" Nathan said as he put his dex away. "Let's test it out! Greninja, use Water shuriken!" The greninja then generated small throwing stars that while didn't do much on their own, the abundance did however manage to beat the Quillidan into submission. "We won!" Nathan cheered as he hugged his new Pokémon. "You're definitely gonna be a great addition to the team!" The Greninja immediately hugged back his new buddy. "Well you know the rules Serena." The other trainer sighed as she returned her Pokémon. "Well, after what we just saw, I think you earned it!" She replied proudly. Nathan then stepped forward to the mega evolution guru as he handed over the bracelet to which Nathan slipped onto his wrist. "I'll be sure to use it responsibly!"

Present day

"So that's how froggy here became what he is now!" Angel commented pointing at the greninja. "Well you could say that!" Nathan commented. "When I fought the fighting type gym leader, Korria, we both used lucarios to fight each other, to which I won, but that's when I found out that mega evolution only lasts for a few short hours and leaves the Pokémon incredibly weak afterwards, so I made a vow to only use it if necessary!"

Nathan then continued scrolling through different photos until landing on one that made him wince. "Oh boy…." He said as everyone looked closer at the photo, it appeared to be a photo of Nathan on the ground in fear and in front of him was none other than Yveltal who loomed over him with his large wings and a bright light erupting from his body. "Is that you and Yveltal?" Asked Husk. "Yeah, that's when I first met him." Nathan answered somberly. "What happened that made you look so terrified of him?" Vaggie asked, concerned. "Well… when I first met him in the base where the ultimate weapon was hidden, he came out of his cocoon he hid in for about a thousand years." Nathan explained. "And when he woke up he was… cranky… to say the least." "How cranky are we talking?" Husk asked, regretting the answer. "As if you wake Alastor up from a bad nap… using a very sharp stick…."

As Nathan managed to defeat the last Team Flare admin, the group was about to call in reinforcements but before it could come to that… a giant energy field surrounded the admins, encasing them before flashes of light began to appear around them, the admins began to scream in pain and agony as one managed to slam himself against the dome, terrifying Nathan as the admin rotted away leaving him nothing but bones along with the rest of them as their life force fled from their bodies and into the large pitch black cocoon that laid into the center of the ultimate weapon's core.

Nathan was absolutely terrified, not knowing what ungodly force could have done this. As he took a single step forward however, he heard a loud crack. Looking upward, the trainer was shocked to discover that the cocoon was hatching like an egg, blue energy began to swirl around it, the energy and the cocoon began to grow more intense before the cocoon erupted in a flash of red light, fading away as the legendary Pokémon revealed itself, it roared in fury as it broke away the cables in a single burst.

Nathan stepped back in horror as Yveltal leaped onto the ground and roared at him. "S-Stay back!" He pleaded before several Flare grunts busted into the room. "What the fuaaa…" The grunts stopped as they saw the legendary beast before their eyes. "You humans think you could contain ME!?" He roared, before rushing towards the grunts and began to maul them one by one, absorbing their life energy and leaving them empty corpses, Nathan immediately backed away in terror before the legendary noticed him. "Another pathetic human dares to face me?" Yveltal laughed as he closed in. "Then let me see how well you fare against my power!"

Nathan soon realized that he had no choice but to fight back. "Fine then, you want to fight, then let's fight!" Nathan then sent out his tyrantrum. "Foolish mortal thinks he can defeat me?!" "Not if I have to say about it! Dragon claw, Titanasur!" The Pokémon then slashed at his opponent before the legendary countered with a dark pulse. "Pathetic! I've had thousands of years of experience fighting than your tiny little brain could ever handle!" "I'm not done yet! Stone edge now!" Using the pointed stones, Titanasur managed to damage Yveltal quite a bit. "You think that will be enough to stop me?! Face the power of death itself!" Yveltal then flew up into the sky and struck down the opponent with its powerful oblivion wing, instantly defeating the opponent on the spot and healing himself. "Agh! You did great out there Titanasur…." Nathan said as he returned the defeated Pokémon.

"Now, time to bring out the big guns!" Nathan then sent out his Gardivoir into battle. "This is your weapon? That's a laugh!" The legendary laughed Striking them with his snarl attack. "I'm not done yet! Kineticx! Mega evolve!" Nathan then activated the keystone and allowed the Gardevoir to take on his mega evolved form. "Now use thunderbolt!" Gardivoir managed to strike Yveltal in the face with his electric energy. "You little f*(ker!" Yveltal yelled before flashing his eyes, telekinetically disabling the move. "I don't think so! Dazzling gleam now!" The Gardivoir then flashed her power at Yveltal, damaging him heavily. "I'm not letting you go down that easily!" "Triple the dazzling gleam! Now!" "Gar!?" "Just do it!" Yveltal then rushed towards him before flashing the legendary once, blinding him, then twice, damaging him more, then one last blast that caused the legendary to fall to the ground in defeat. After reverting back to his normal form, Kineticx then fell to her knees. "Don't worry Kineticx, you did great out there, take some rest." Nathan said, returning his Pokémon back to his ball.

Yveltal then started to get back up, causing Nathan to stand in defense. "This is impossible!" Yveltal yelled. "I'm f*(king Yveltal! The god of death! The harvester of lives!" The trainer then lowered his ball as he sensed that the legendary was desperate. "And yet I get my ass whooped by a f*(king child! Is this what I'm good for? Just a piece of trash that gets f*(ked over by human children?" "Maybe you can be better!" Nathan suggested making the legendary confused. "The f*(k does that mean?" He questioned. "I'm saying maybe you can come with me!" "And why would I do that?" "Well for starters we can take down the guy who was responsible for your predicament!" "Even if I agree, you don't have any pokeball on the planet to capture me!" "Actually…." Nathan then reached into his bag and pulled out an empty master ball. "So what do you say…?" The Pokémon then thought about it for a bit and smiled. "Toss it to me kid!" Nathan then tossed the ball to Yveltal and it was an instant catch, he picked up the ball and smiled. "Welcome to the team."

Present day

Nathan then reached into his bag and pulled out Yveltal's ball. "While I was able to cool him down and he ended up joining the team, it was still a very nasty thing to witness…." He said, looking at the ball. "But I think having him on my team made him better for everybody!" "Well sounds like your journey was quite the f*(king rollercoaster." Husk commented before Nathan laughed. "Well, how about we make a new memory?" Vaggie suggested. "I don't see why not, everyone gathered around!" Nathan replied as his friends gathered around and took a photo.

Soon later, Nathan turned to see Charlie's room, he tried to knock on the door, but stopped upon realizing that he would be disturbing her privacy so he walked away. Inside the room however, Charlie sat on her bed with her eyes closed, she felt that something was stirring inside her, her Deino then walked up to her and whined in worry. "It's fine, shadow…." She said rather quietly, before her inverted eyes opened.

Now I know that, yes Gardivoirite is only available in the post game, and yes korrina gives the mega ring to you after finishing her gym and fighting her with her lucarios but this is a little different than the original x and y story.
