R&R longer note at the end

Homura's time as the leader of the elite team for Hebijo Clandestine girls school had taught the proud shinobi the value of routine, she would wake up of a morning and begin training her body to shake away the remaining weariness of sleep after an hour of intense training she would clean up and eat breakfast to refuel.

After some studying she would begin her afternoon training regime, taking up most of the afternoon before having dinner then a quick workout, a shower and it was off to bed. Now she was the leader of the renegade group that had taken to calling themselves Homura's crimson squad, since leaving the school the tanned shinobi had once called home her routine had altered slightly.

The time she would once spend studying was now taken up by more training or the occasional part time work she was able to find, today however her time was spent training alone in a clearing the sounds of birds and rushing water her only company or so she thought.

"If you have time to stare" Homura said stopping her training feeling rather agitated as she felt the presence of someone watching her turning in their direction "You have time to join me. Hikage". Upon hearing her name, the green haired shinobi stepped from the bushes her amber snake like eyes not once leaving the tanned leader she had accepted for many years.

The two stared at each other in silence, lifting her hand to her mouth to stifle a yawn the green haired shinobi cracked her neck her eyes never once leaving the other in front of her, after a few moments of silence she eventually spoke.

"You were being loud, it interrupted my nap" Hikage said her tone as expressionless as her eyes "I know you like to train but you train too much, eventually you'll break. You should rest while you can".

"I train too much? That's rich coming from you who doesn't train at all" Homura shot back looking ahead once more her katana raised "I'll be fine, I know my own body. So if you're not planning on joining me then find a new place to nap and leave me be". Ignoring the other shinobi Homura resumed her training spinning on her heel as she brought her six katana's down hearing the resonating sound of metal on metal forcing her to jump backwards into a defensive stance, being renegade meant that she and her friends were at risk of attack at any moment.

Her green eyes scanned the clearing for signs of her would be attacker landing on one solitary figure, gone was her causal white tank top and black track suit pants replaced with her snake skin top and blue ripped jeans holding her knives was none other than her team mate.

"Fine, I'll join" Hikage said staring at the other who grinned expectantly, it had been far too long since the two had truly battled "On one condition. Should I manage to defeat you then you will stop training for the day and take a nap with me, if you win then I will train with you for the rest of the day. Do we have a deal?"

The tanned shinobi considered the request as her grin grew charging forwards as the two of them clashed, Hikage nodded as she pushed the other back it was clear her answer.

"Like I said" Hikage began as she kneeled down next to the tanned girl lying face first on the floor "You train too much". Homura looked up as she glared at the other saying nothing as pain racked her body, no sooner had the fight began it had come to a rather unexpected end after her continued training exercises and lack of a good night's sleep her worn out muscles had seized up causing her to fall at the others feet.

"A deal is a deal boss" Hikage said, feeling her muscles begin to loosen the tanned girl pushed herself up with a sigh nodding in defeat "Regardless of the means in which I managed to win, I still won. Nap time". Slowly the green haired girl helped the other to her feet slowly assisting her as they walked to a nearby spot of soft grass laying down, the feeling of frustration continued to flood Homura's body as she felt a tightness on her once more looking down.

"H-hey. I agreed to nap with you but not like this" Homura said agitated watching as the green haired girl slowly coiled herself around her "Ow, your squeezing too tight idiot, I swear it's like cuddling with a damn boa constrictor. Ow, loosen up already". Saying nothing Hikage leaned up pressing her lips to Homura's in a loving and caring manner something the tanned shinobi had not been expecting her tanned cheeks turning a shade of pink before the other moved back resting her head on the others chest.

"No talk" Hikage said closing her eyes "Only nap". After seemingly saying her piece the snake like shinobi's breathing turned into a soft calm sound as she cuddled the now trapped Homura sleeping softly, the leader sighed as a smile crossed her lips closing her eyes as she too drifted off one thought filling her mind.

This isn't so bad once in a while.

After all the training Homura puts herself through it was only a matter of time before her body said "you know what? We are done for now" and seize up however I'm rather tempted to at some point if I do a longer story again or at least finish off ones I started then I might actually entertain the idea of Hikage and Homura actually having a drawn out fight because that could be fun to do

Anyway, I couldn't resist adding in the little comedy line of what cuddling with Hikage felt like. Well I think I have at least one or two more to go before another road block but we'll see if I can manage to get some time in before my next upload to get through some more chapters for it
