Georgiana was sitting at her desk, biting at her thumb nail. She wanted to quit the embarrassing habit, but any time she got nervous she couldn't help it. And she felt nervous all the time. She leaned her head on her hand instead.

She should be doing school work but her mind was on William. She didn't know how to help him. She knew he struggled after their mom died, and then really really struggled with their dads… self death. But William had been extra… sensitive these past weeks. And she worried he would follow Dad's footsteps.

She didn't know how to help him! But she did know who she could turn to when she needed help with William.

She heard the front door click open. "Oh shit," she heard his voice say a moment later.

She ran and slid into the hall, thankful she had socks on. She had to talk to him before her brother came home.

"10 out of 10 entrance," he said as he walked into the kitchen. She ran after him. He was looking through their fridge.

"Are you going to the club with William tonight?" She asked.

"Yeah, it's really weird," Charles said, picking up Williams left overs and opening it. "I mean I like it, Jane DJs there, but Darcy? Willing going out to where the public is? It's like a biblical sign..." He put the leftovers back in the fridge and kept looking for something.

"I think it's a girl!" Georgiana blurted. Charles snapped up and flipped to look at her with shock. He stayed silent for a moment.

"Tell me everything," Charles said seriously. It was a strange look on the red headed man.

"You know your girlfriend?"

"I– what? Yes, I know my girlfriend," he said in confusion.

"Sorry, that was a dumb question." Charles made a noise of agreement and opened the fridge again. "Her sister! I think Will fancies her sister!"

Charles closed the fridge again. "Lizzy?" he asked stupidly. Georgiana nodded. "The bartender?" He asked. Georgiana shrugged and continued.

"He was muttering to himself earlier about how Lizzy always gives him the wrong drink. But then he had, like, a stupid smile on his face," she said. Charles blinked hard and opened his eyes wide. He opened the fridge yet again. He stood there staring at her, opening and closing the fridge. Sometimes, she wondered how he had such a successful business, when he was… like this.

"That man will be the death of me," he said. "It all makes sense now. That's why his day is totally trashed if he doesn't see her there. He's got the hots for Lizzy,"

Georgiana wrinkled her nose. That's a gross way to say he fancies Lizzy. "You have to help him! He's going to bungle it!" she exclaimed.

"I know! He is! He has!" Charles exclaimed, "he told her "you're not pretty enough to make this kind of mistake" And she's been making his drinks horribly wrong ever since!"

Georgiana fell back on the wall at hearing her brother's words, but was also kind of impressed with this Lizzy.

"Oh no! What are you going to do?" she shouted, her voice squeaky in her stress.

"Me? Why me? Why not you?" Charles burst, finally letting go of the fridge.

"What am I supposed to do? I can't do anything!" she argued.

"That's a good point!" He shouted, "but, I don't know how to fix it!" he said, putting his hands to his chest, his eyes wide.

"You're the only one who can do anything though!" Georiana yelped back.

"What's with all the shouting?" Williams' deep voice came from behind her. She nearly jumped out of her skin.

"What shouting?" Charles shouted. William pressed his lips together in a grin that blurted into a chuckle.

"Nothing, it's nothing! He was just opening the fridge," Georgiana said.

"Like, more than once?" William asked. Georgiana nodded. Williams eyebrows drew together in concern.

"What's got you stressed?" William asked him. Charles' eye twitched and he slapped both hands on his face with a dramatic groan. William looked at Georgiana a little suspiciously.

"He might just want to see Jane! You guys have fun at the club!" Georgiana said, pushing William out of the kitchen and towards the front door.

"Gigi!" William exclaimed, in surprise.

"Don't worry about me. I-I have homework!" she said quickly, as Charles started to push William towards the front door as well.

"Yeah, homework. Super important," Charles said, grabbing his shoes from the ground, "should never miss it."

"Bingley, I did your homework," William said as Georgiana opened the door and he had to hop out.

"And now look at me. Taking orders from a teenager," Charles said, hopping out on one foot as he put his shoe on.

"Have fun!" Georgiana said, to William's bemused and confused face.

"I expect every flavor of uncrustables in that fridge tomorrow. And goldfish," Charles hissed at her.

"Ok! Ok!" she hissed back, with wide, slightly panicked eyes. And she shut the door on them. She sighed heavily as she leaned her forehead against the door.

She loved Charles. He was like a second brother. He was always there to help in whatever way he could. She couldn't wait to hear his report.

She didn't have to wait to hear it! She ran back to her room to grab her phone and text Charles.
