Jennifer sat on one of the catwalks outside. Her knees pulled up to her chest, hugging her legs tightly as she sobbed. She gasped when a hand gently touched her shoulder causing her to look up to see Steve.

He sat next to her and wrapped his arms around her as she continued to sob. "HYDRA is going to pay dearly for what they did to Bucky." He told her gently as he gently rocked her and she slowly started to calm down.

"He didn't recognize you?" She whispered brokenly, her voice hurt and could barely speak right now. "At all?"

Steve shook his head, staring ahead. "We looked right at each other. No recognizing at all on his part."

Jennifer took a shaky breath to try to calm herself. "I think he recognized me." She said softly, Steve stopped rocking her.

"You think he did?"

"It was hard to tell. He moved in my direction, hauled me up." She started to explain. "When Sam yelled out my name." She paused, tears still streaming down her cheeks. "Stevie, I think Bucky … I think he froze … I couldn't tell because of those goggles and that mask."

"And HYDRA is severely gonna to pay." The siblings were quiet for a long moment, before Steve started again. "Jen, I need you to walk into SHIELD."

She was finally calm. "What's that gonna prove?"

"We still have Agents in there. Good Agents." He explained. "You won't be alone. Natasha, me and Sam will be there too."

His sister was quiet for a long moment.

"Jenny." Steve began. "Bucky … he's a lost solider."-

"A lost solider who they experimented on and turned him into a murderist monster." She cut him off.

"And as his family, it's our job to bring him back home. It'll take a lot of healing time." His sister was quiet. "Bucky needs us more then ever. Both of us."

She chewed on her lower lip, her eyes shined with tears. "I, I, I don't know what to do." She stuttered brokenly.

"You're scared, I know. But sis. Bucky needs us, now more then ever."

Jennifer, now wearing one of Natasha's jumpsuits, walked into the SHIELD building and towards the control room, she walked up to one of the guys at one of the many computers.

"Attention all SHIELD agents." Steve's voice came on the PA. "This is Steve Rogers. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days. Some of you were even ordered to hunt me down. But I think it's time you know the truth." Steve was quiet for a moment. "SHIELD is not what you thought it was. It's been taken over by HYDRA. Alexander Pierce is their leader. The STRIKE and Insight crew are HYDRA agents as well. I don't know how many more. But I know they're in the building. They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want. Absolute control. They shot Nick Fury. And it won't end there. If you launch those helicarriers today. HYDRA will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way. Unless we stop them. I know I'm asking a lot. But the price of freedom is high. It always has been. And it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not."

Everyone's eyes land on Rumlow as he walks up to Jen.

"Bring up the flight suit." Rumlow ordered the computer guy. "Send those ships up now."

The guy looked nervous, he looks at the intimating man, then back to his computer.

"Is there a problem?" Rumlow demanded.

All eyes were on the computer guy, the ones at the computers were scared, some.

"Is there a problem!?" Rumlow repeated.

The poor computer guy was scared out of his mind, not knowing what to do as he tried to speak. "I'm not going to launch those ships." He shook his head. "Captain's orders."

Rumlow pulls out his gun and aimed it at the poor scared guy's head. "Remove yourself from your station."

Jennifer pulled out her own gun, and aimed it close to Rumlow's head, when she pulled out her gun, everyone in the room pulled out their own guns. Aiming at each other. "Captain's orders." Jen said simply.

Rumlow paused for a long moment, his eyes never leaving the computer guy. "You're a damn cat, Rogers!" He put his gun at the back of the computer guy's head.

"Leave him alone, Rumlow!" Jen pressed her own gun onto Rumlow's head.

Rumlow withdrew his gun, he let it drop to the floor with a bang, then pulled out a knife and swung at Jennifer, cutting and she dropped, that's when the guns go off. Rumlow aims his gun at the computer guy, but Jennifer gives the chair a good hard kick to knock the computer guy over.

Rumlow moves to type on the computer. Jennifer leaps onto his back, her arms around his neck to pull him away from the computer. As he stumbles backwards. His arm on her arms to pull her arms away from his neck the computer flashes OVERRIDE in big capital letters. Rumlow is then able to grab Jen's arm and throw her over his shoulder, then he bolts out of the room.

Rolling from her back to her side, Jen winced picks herself up and runs after him. "Steve, Rumlow over rided the system!" She informs in her earpiece. "Those helicarriers are going up now!"

"Copy that." Steve answered. "Where are you?"

"Chasing Rumlow!"

"Be careful and safe."

"That goes double for you big brother." Jen said as she looked around the hallways, holding her gun in her hand. "Sam, be safe and try to stay on Steve's six."

"Thanks."

Jennifer made her way around the building, she really wished that Barton was around to help.
