Summary: Natsu and Lucy appeared to be different people. They seemed unlikely to be together, and they don't really seem that interested in each other. That all changed during a little intimate incident. That was really all it took.

"Touchdown!" Natsu called as he scored the winning point in a game. It's just one of those parties that's just crazy and fun. Natsu being there was practically a must.

"No fair! I'm against the star quarterback!"

"Don't be a loser and make excuses." Natsu teased. "Now, what game am I playing next?!" Natsu was practically the life of the party. Being the star quarterback of his school, everyone seems to have loved him.

"Natsu, look who is here!" One of his buddies pointed to the lovely sight of everyone's eye: Lucy Heartfilia. She was considered the most beautiful girl at school. She's the apple of everyone's eye because she's a model...model student. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, but there's more. She's also one of the smartest with her having perfect grades, she's the captain of the volleyball team, and her artwork is always lovely. She's athletic, academically brilliant, and artistic. She's the ideal student that all teachers want. She's also really nice.

"So what? It's just the little princess." Natsu said as he wasn't impressed.

"What? Are you crazy? You must be if you don't like her. Lucy Heartfilia is amazing. Some say she's perfection."

"She's just a goodie-goodie that probably doesn't know how to have fun." Natsu claimed.

"You're nuts. Heck, you should ask her out. You two would be the star couple, a real power couple."

"No way. Not a chance." Natsu denied.

"Really?" Natsu looked and saw that Lucy overheard him. "Well, that's just fine. I wouldn't be interested in someone like you."

"Nothing personal. It just that I think you're the type that's so busy that you don't know now to have fun." Natsu said. "Plus, eggheads like you tend to act like... Wait. Why wouldn't you be interested in someone like me?"

"Well, you might be a great athlete, but that's really all you got going for you." Lucy claimed. "You're really just another empty headed jock who thinks only of sports and thinks causing trouble is fun. At least you're honest, but I wouldn't be interested in a meathead like you." She really told him. Despite how their reputations put them together, they aren't really interested in the other.

"Time to play spin the bottle!" Someone called as another game was starting out.

"Spin the bottle? Really?" Natsu questioned. "Isn't that a little childish?"

"Not when you're allowed to kiss with tongue or the same gender."

"Now who's the one that doesn't want to have fun?" Lucy taunted as she went on to play herself to show she can have some fun. Taking that as a dare, Natsu went to play himself. Natsu and Lucy went to partake in this little game. Same rules as usual, only there's bo backing down to whoever it is the bottle points to when you spin. There were some kisses that were a little more intense and fun. People certainly wooed on the last one.

"Okay, Lucy. It's your turn now."

"Here goes." Lucy said as she saw no harm in it. She gave the bottle a spin and they all wondered with anticipation as to who the bottle would landed on. Natsu wasn't that into it until the bottle slowed down and it landed right at him.

"Are you kidding me?!" Natsu said. After voicing how these two wouldn't be interested in each other, it figures the bottle would land on the person they wouldn't want to kiss. "No way. Not doing it."

"Rules say you have to." Natsu and Lucy so didn't want to do this.

"Let's just get it over with." Lucy said and Natsu was fine with that. The two of them leaned in at each other and weren't expecting anything until they actually kissed. Neither of them to feel actual sparks between them. They didn't seem to like each other, so why did that kids feel so great. When the two of them backed away from each other, they both clearly thought the same thing.

"Who's turn is it now?" The game went on, but the rest didn't seem to matter anymore to Natsu and Lucy.

Later

The party went on, but all Natsu could think about was that kiss. He wasn't expecting it to feel as good as he did. How can a kiss be so great when he thought he didn't like this person? As he was wondering about that, he spotted Lucy walking through and went into a closet.

"Oh boy..." Lucy breathed. She needed a quiet place for her to collect her thoughts about what happened. What she didn't expect was for Natsu to walk in.

"Hey." Natsu said.

"Hey." Lucy said as they were both feeling awkward.

"Listen, I think we need to talk." Natsu said. "It's about that kiss."

"Yeah. I was thinking the same thing, and now I feel like there's something I have to do." Lucy said. Natsu was thinking the same thing. Suddenly, the two of them kissed each other fiercely. Something came over the two of them and neither of them could help it. The two of them were smashing against the walls as they just couldn't help themselves. They might not like each other, but something in them wanted the other so much now.

"This is crazy." Natsu said.

"You're telling me." Lucy said and kept trying to kiss him with them feeling like their breath is taken away.

"Still, I don't think we should let others see, not after how we talked bad to each other." Natsu said.

"And the gossip is never going to stop." Lucy said.

"So we keep quiet about this." Natsu said and kept planting kisses that made it hard for Lucy to talk back. "Stick your tongue out if you understand." Lucy didn't get why she had to do that, but she did it. It was just so that Natsu could plant another one on her...with tongue this time.

At School

"I've got to go. I'll see you later." Natsu said as he separated himself from his friends. After what happened at the party, the two of them kept a low profile. They didn't let anyone know...about now. These two soon felt drawn to each other as they met up in closet, and the two of them started to make out i secret with them going in the closet. An athlete and a model? Typical pair, just not like this.
