Eddy asked, "Hey, what happened to us? if we were friends once, shouldn't we still be friends?"

Edd answered, "I'm not sure."

Ed gave it some thought himself and asked, "What's stopping us from being friends now?"

Edd sighed, "I don't usually like being around other kids a whole lot."

Ed noted, "You don't seem to mind being around us."

Eddy said, "Kevin might give me a purple nurple for hanging out with other kids."

Ed said, "We can always meet in secret!"

Edd asked, "Why do you care so much Ed?"

Ed gave it some thought and replied, "I've always wanted to have more then just my sister as a friend, but never had the opportunity because of my mom. Now I feel like I really have a chance to connect with kids my age, you know?"

Eddy and Edd sighed, "Yeah."

They looked at each other and chuckled.

Edd said, "I guess I can try to leave the house more often if it means I get see you two again."

Eddy said, "I know just the spot to meet! There's this alleyway hardly any kid goes down. We can start hanging out there!"
