So. this is my first ever fanfiction! It might be trash but I do hope that you will enjoy. I also do need more ideas for my future fanfictions, so plz review and comment your ideas. Now, without further ado... umm... well, the story!
Summary: After a tragic accident on Hollywood Blvd, Big Time Rush suffers a great loss. They were four, not three. What will happen to them and the band?
Chapter 1: Concert and Day Gone Wrong
On a normal, boring day in Hollywood, it was crowded. Like, LITERALLY crowded. Everyone was cheering and screaming because the new band, Big Time Rush joined only a year ago and are a BIG hit. They were performing their newest, hottest, and yet the biggest song: Superstar. Kendall sang lead, alongside James while Carlos and Logan were at the back singing harmonies and layers to their song. But the faces didn't show excitement, it showed sadness. Kendall and James looked back once a while to see how they were doing.
"Have you noticed how Carlos and Logan are behaving lately?" Kendall whispered to James while there was music playing.
James looked back again, "Yeah, they don't look so good. Maybe they caught a cold or have a fever?"
The two boys looked back to the audience when their part started playing. They sang expressively so that the crowd wouldn't suspect anything suspicious going on with the two boys in the back. For a while, the concert was going well, until Carlos had a sudden outburst.
"UGH! This is SO unfair! Why do you and James always get to sing lead? Do you even care that we're in the band as well? Or are we just extras? Just to add sounds in the background? Have you ever noticed that me and Logan have NEVER, N-E-V-E-R sing lead in any of our songs that we have made? Did you notice that a few seconds after you and James started to sing happily, that Logan ran off in tears. You upset him, and me, and... we both were thinking of quitting the band.",he said the last part like someone had died in front of his eyes and ran off to find Logan.
The two boys stood there, in front of the whole crowd, not sure what they're feeling. Shock, anger, and sadness. They were angry because Carlos had yelled at them in front of a giant crowd. But they knew that Carlos was right. They have never noticed that the two other boys didn't have a chance to sing lead. They turned to the crowd, who were murmuring and muttering about Carlos's outburst. The two just stood there until the crowd started to jeer and left. It was pin-drop silent for a few moments. That is until James started to sob.
"I can't believe it! H-how did we not n-notice this?",he replied through tears. "All these I thought they weren't feeling well but the fact that they weren't being treated fairly? I...I never knew that."
Kendall nodded and told James that they had to find Logan and Carlos. On their way, they spotted multiple use-to-be fans-of-them staring and pointing at them as if they were some kind of creature. The two boys walked around in silence until Kendall had the nerve to ask a guy if they had seen their friends.
"Excuse me sir, but have you seen two guys about the same age walk by here?", he asked, being careful of his words.
The man pointed to the left, where there were two boys at the edge of the road. One of them was sitting, his head in his knees, and looked like he was crying. The other one, was looking down at every once in a while to make sure that he was okay and then looked all around him. After checking in at the other guy once more, he turned around to find Kendall and James staring at them. Kendall right away knew who that was. Carlos. That meant the guy who was sitting was...Logan.
James started to run to them saying, "Guys! Hey, Carlos! Logan! I just wanted to say we're sorry!"
But as he ran to them, the man who told the boys where Logan and Carlos were, grabbed him by the collar and ran away from them as fast as he could. Despite the fact that Kendall and Carlos were having a staredown, Logan noticed James being taken away and immediately ran in his direction.
After a few moments, Kendall and Carlos too had noticed Logan running to save James and sprinted behind him. Carlos, being the fastest, tackled the man to the ground and pinned him there. But the man was too strong, as soon as Carlos pinned him, he grabbed his neck and started to choke him. The man got up and tied the two boys to a lamp post, then turned around to deal with the other two. Kendall grabbed a stick from the ground and was about to stab the man when the man brought out a knife and ran towards Kendall. Logan froze in shock for a few seconds but quickly recovered and right when the man was about to throw the knife at Kendall, Logan jumped in Kendall's way and instead of killing Kendall, the knife pierced Logan in the gut.
Logan gasped as he fell to the pavement. Kendall, who was already trying to untie James and Carlos from the lamp post. Once he successfully untied them, he ran to where Logan was gasping for air. James, being the only one who had a phone at that time, quickly noticed what was happening and called 911.
"LOGAN! LOGAN! Oh please buddy, don't die on me, please." Kendall pleaded. "Is there a first-aid kit nearby? There's a knife in his gut! He probably can't breathe and he's DYING!"
Carlos scanned the area a couple of times before shaking his head. Kendall ignored him and continued to shake Logan, shouting and yelling at him to stay awake. James was going around, asking if anyone there was a doctor, but no such luck.
By the time the paramedics arrived, Logan was shaking and his breathing was slowing down. Blood leaked everywhere from his stomach. Kendall was pleading for Logan to stay awake. Carlos and James crouched beside Kendall and were trying to get Logan to stop shaking so he can breathe more easily. The paramedics took Logan away from the other boys and pulled him onto a stretcher and wheeled him away. The three boys argued with a paramedic that they wanted to go with Logan to the hospital. The paramedics couldn't stop them so they had no other choice but to let them in the ambulance.
