Chapter 1: The Land of the FairyTale Creatures

This is my first Kingdom Hearts Crossover.

This will be the first time I've done something for Kingdom Hearts. Inspired by J. Tom's stories, I decided to make a Kingdom Hearts and Shrek Crossover with the characters from DuckTales 2017: Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena and Violet.

This is in J. Tom's Kingdom Hearts canon with some of the Super Sayian 3 Odd's version of DuckTales 2017 with my own personal canon elements like with my last story I wrote, Timephoon Rewritten.

Also on a few side notes, since this is a Shrek story

Happy 23rd Anniversary to the very first movie, Shrek!

and Happy 20th anniversary to the second film and one of the best animated sequels ever, Shrek 2!

With that said, Enjoy.

A Kingdom Hearts Crossover Story

(Fairytale score by Harry Gregson-Williams and John Powell starts)

The story begins with a light shining on a book. The book opens showing a princess and her castle, and a narrator is heard reading the text in the book, "Once upon a time, there was a lovely princess."

The second page shows magic coming out of a cup and the princess in a day and night background. "But she had an enchantment upon her of a fearful sort, which could only be broken by love's first kiss."

The third page showed a giant dragon guarding another castle. "She was locked away in a castle guarded by a terrible fire-breathing dragon."

Knights are shown fighting that dragon in the fourth page. "Many brave knights attempted to free her from this dreadful prison, but none prevailed."

And finally, the fifth page showed the princess sleeping and what appears to be a man rescuing her. "She waited in the dragon's keep in the highest room of the tallest tower, for her true love and true love's first kiss."

Suddenly a green hand appeared and tore the page of the book and a voice saying "He-he yeah."

(FairyTale score ends)

The page after showed the princess and the knight's wedding before the hand closed the book.

"Like that's ever gonna happen." mocked the voice.

We then transitioned to an outhouse with a moon on the door in a forest. And the voice continued "What a load of…" a flush is heard.

Out the outhouse door revealed a giant green ogre with ears that stuck out from his head, wearing a big white tunic with a brown vest tied together, with plaid pants and brown shoes. His name was Shrek and he was about to start his day after getting the torn page off his shoe.

(All-Star by Smash Mouth plays)

Somebody once told me
The world is gonna roll me
I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed
She was looking kinda dumb
With her finger and her thumb
In shape of an "L" on her forehead

Shrek closes the outhouse door and proceeds to his house in the swamp. He gets a bucket and scoops up a lot of mud, which reveals the title.

Shrek then puts the bucket on a tree branch and strips off his clothes and proceeds to take a mud shower.

Well the years start coming
And they don't stop coming
Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running
Didn't make sense
Not to live for fun
Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb
So much to do
So much to see,
So what's wrong with taking the back street
You'll never know if you don't go
You'll never shine if you don't glow

Next, Shrek starts using bugs to brush his teeth and when he finishes, the mirror breaks

Hey now
You're an all star
Get your game on
Go play
Hey now
You're a rock Star
Get the show on
Get paid
And all that glitters is gold
Only shooting stars break the mold

Shrek then jumps into a lake and lets one out, which kills several fish, which he grabs.

It's a cool place
And they say it gets colder
You're bundled up now
Wait 'til you get older
But the media men beg to differ
Judging by the hole in the satellite picture

Shrek pushes out several clogs of mud out of a log with slugs in them. (A/n: I don't actually know what those thing Shrek pushed out were)

The ice we skate
Is getting pretty thin
The waters getting warm
So you might as well swim
My world's on fire
How about yours
That's the way I like it and I never get bored

Then the green ogre was then seen painting something and as soon he was done, he kissed the painting which is revealed to be a sign with Shrek's face saying "Beware Ogre" right next to a "Stay Out" sign.

Hey now
You're an all star
Get your game on
Go play
Hey now
You're a rock star
Get the show on
Get paid
And all that glitters is gold
Only shooting stars break the mold

A bunch of villagers come out of a house and start planning an attack on Shrek. One draws Shrek's face on the ground as he discusses the plan. They grab several pitchforks and torches while Shrek grabs a spoon and eats his supper. He then lights a match and burps at it and shoots the fires right at his fireplace.

Hey now
You're an all star
Get your game on
Go play
Hey now
You're a rock star
Get the show on
Get paid
And all that glitters is gold
Only shooting stars break the mold

(All Star by Smash Mouth ends)

Shrek, hearing the villagers, looks out the window and sees them approaching his house. He exits his house and snakes behind the villagers to give them a scare. The villagers slowly approach Shrek's house.

"Think it's in there?" One villager asked.

"All right. Let's get it!" said another villager, about to storm into the house.

Another villager stopped him and said "Whoa, hold on. Do you know what that thing could do to you?"

One of the villagers agreed, "Yeah. It'll grind your bones for its bread."

Suddenly, they heard someone laughing. They turned around to see Shrek right behind them. "Yes, well, actually, that would be a giant." Shrek corrected.

The now terrified villagers backed away from the green ogre as Shrek walked closer to them. He continued "Now ogres… they're much worse. They'll make a suit from your freshly peeled skin."

One of the villagers exclaimed "No!"

Shrek continued to terrify the villagers by saying "They'll shave your liver. Squeeze the jelly from your eyes. Actually it's quite good on toast."

Another villager foolishly waved his torch at Shrek, yelling "Back! Back beast! Back! I warn ya!"

Shrek, unfazed by this threat, smirked and licked his thumb and forefinger and then put out the torch.

"Right." He chuckled nervously and dropped the torch.

Soon after, Shrek let out a loud and frightful roar, spitting at them and putting out the other torches as well and scared the frightened villagers who screamed. After Shrek stopped and wiped his mouth, the villagers continued screaming until after 5 seconds they stopped and remained frozen.

Shrek leaned at them and whispered, "This is the part where you run away."

They gasped and ran for their lives. Shrek laughed and shouted after them, "And stay out!"

The green creature noticed something on the ground and picked it up. It was a wanted sign and he read out loud, "Wanted: Fairytale Creatures." He saw another paper which was a paper reporting of black creatures which said "Dark black creatures roaming around land," which he also read out loud.

He sighed and said to himself, "Must be some joke villagers are trying to pull." He threw away both papers and walked back to his house.

Traverse Town:

It was afternoon at the traverse town and at the cafeteria we see the Duckburg Six (consisting of Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Webby Vanderquack, Lena Sabrewing-McDuck and Violet Sabrewing), the Duck girls (April, May and June), B.O.Y.D., Gosayln Mallard and Honker Muddlefoot, all in their primary attires, were all with the kids from the volunteer committee, talking about some of their events that happened. They also had a couple of friends of Team Magic, Molly McGee and Scratch the Ghost. They'd dropped in from Brighton for a visit and to help with the committee. They also brought in a few friends from their world as well including Molly's brother, Darryl McGee, her best friend, Libby Stein-Torres, her boyfriend, Oliver Chen (or Ollie for short, his sister, Juniper Chen (or June for short) and Scratch's best ghost friend, Geoff (with a G).

Molly was telling everyone of their past adventures since she and her family moved to Brighton and shared a few laughs.

Dewey laughed "Oh, man. Who knew ghosts still had taste buds."

Scratch confirmed "Yep, even in death, ghosts still keep their taste buds. And unfortunately, they also keep their allergies."

June (Chen) stated "I couldn't tell how it was possible. And I'm still trying to find out how, which is easier said than done."

Sasha asked "Yeah, but didn't you confirm you didn't die?"

"Yes, I never died. My ghost left my body, until I went into my body and memories flooded my mind. I thought it was churros at first, but it was my body that flooded my memories. So, with Molly's encouragement, I happily returned to my body and went to live my life with my friend, Adia."

Luz complimented "Well, it's great that you're having to live your own life."

Sprig asked a curious question "Yeah. Though, how are you a ghost, right now?"

Isabella added "Yeah, that's a good question. Did you actually… die for real?"

Everyone grimaced at that idea.

Scratch assured them "No, no, no. Thanks to the keyblade guardians, they gave me a power that can have me turn my body into a ghost at will."

He demonstrates his power by transforming into his human body "See? Human." He turns himself back into a ghost. "And now ghost."

Huey asked "So where's your friend, Adia, now?"

Scratch answered "Oh, she's helping with the other chaperones. I just chose to be in this form, because I know my other friends are used to seeing me in this form."

Louie remarked "Well, that totally explains a lot."

Webby confirmed this "Yeah, we were just as shocked when they told us what happened there."

Willow curiously asked "So how did you guys meet each other?"

Lena answered "Well, that was by complete accident. Webby, Violet and I were using my magic to make contact with ghosts. What ended up happening was that my magic ended creating a portal to Brighton. More accurately, Molly's bedroom in her house."

Flashback; Duckburg, McDuck Manor:

Team Magic is in Webby's room creating a séance, attempting to make contact with the spirit realm. A circle was drawn onto the ground and candles were placed around it.

"Ok, everything's all set!" Webby said with excitement.

Lena gave a chuckle and said "Relax, Pink. We need to completely concentrate when making contact. And it may get dangerous since we're using my magic for it."

As the three girls sat in the circle, Violet instructed "Now keep eyes tightly closed and concentrate on the location of whatever ghost we see. It could be in any spirit realm in any universe."

The girls started their séance and hummed their séance song. The séance was successful but a portal was forming above them, but they didn't notice. Suddenly Team Magic heard screaming and looked up at the portal, much to their shock.

"Huh?" Webby exclaimed.

"What the…?" Lena yelled.

Violet examined the portal and stated "I think we forgot to pay attention to how we locate the portal."

And what shocked them even more was seeing a human girl and a ghost land right on top of them, with some of the ectoplasm from the ghost splatting on them. It was Molly McGee and Scratch from Brighton. And that portal, which closed soon after, was to Molly McGee's bedroom, of all places.

Molly and Scratch got up as the former, thinking it was Scratch who made the portal, asked "Why of all areas would you put a portal into the floor above our feet?"

Scratch answered "One: This was not me making the portal. I didn't even circle my finger like I do to make one. Two: I don't even have feet. I'm a ghost. Though I can make my own feet for myself. Some idiot must have done a séance trying to contact the ghost realm."

As Webby, Lena and Violet got back up, covered in some of the ectoplasm, Webby spoke, "Oh, that's us!" She shook the blue stuff off her hair (though some remained on her clothes) and approached the human and ghost. "Hi, I'm Webby! That duck with the pink hair is Lena and that purple hummingbird is Violet!"

As Violet took some of the ectoplasm out of her hair and examined it, she put it in a small jar and said "This would be great substance to study. It's a little gooey than I'd imagined."

Lena, on the other hand, had the blue goo in her beak and spit it out in disgust, saying "Ugh, gross! This blue ghost crud landed in my mouth!"

Molly gasped at what she was seeing "Oh my gosh! Talking birds!"

Molly turned around and said to herself "Ok, Molly. You've never met talking female birds before. Make a good impression."

She turned back to Webby, Lena and Violet and hugged them as she yelled "GIRL HUG!" However, she noticed she was hugging a little too tight and let go. "Oh, I'm sorry. I can get a little too friendly, sometimes." (1)

Webby responded "Are you kidding?! That's the same amount of friendliness that I have really!"

Molly gasped "Really?! I've only known you for 10 seconds and I like you already! And that clothing and hairstyle really suits you!"

Webby happily said "Thanks! Yours are amazing too!"

Scratch's eyes widened, saying "Oh, lord. There's two of them now." (2)

Lena noticed Scratch "I take it that you're the ghost we were contacting."

"Yes." Scratch answered.

Molly introduced her ghost friend "This is Scratch the Ghost! We became best friends ever since my family moved into his house!"

Scratch contradicted "We are not best friends. I cursed you so I would haunt you until you'd leave but that horribly backfired on me because of how ridiculously happy you are."

(Note that this flashback takes place during Season 1 of The Ghost and Molly McGee)

Molly happily added "Maybe so. But you have softened since then."

Molly also began looking around Webby's room "Wow! Look at this room." She looks at Webby's family board in amazement. "You have a family board full of pictures of people you know and love?!" She looked at her drawings "You have some very amazing drawings and high quality craftsmanship!" She then plays around a random gold artifact that the McDuck family found on one of their adventures. "Oh, what is this?! Is this breakable?" She accidentally dropped the artifact, causing it to break, making the girls and the ghost cringe. "Oh. Umm… Sorry about that."

Webby assured her "Oh, don't worry. That one was a fake anyway."

Scratch asked them "Are you guys the reason why we're here?"

Violet confirmed "Yes. Our apologies. We were attempting to make contact with the ghost realm."

Scratch remarked "Well, I'd be happy to tell you about my afterlife."

Molly agreed and said "And I would be very happy to tell you about my own personal life and how I hope to ENHAPPIFY the entire world!"

Lena asked "En… happify? What kind of word is that?"

Molly replied "Oh, yeah. It's a word I made up to mean making anything and everything happy!"

"Really?" Webby asked.

"Yep." Molly answered.

"I love it!" Webby yelled.

Flashback ends

Present:

"After a couple of hours of getting to know Molly and Scratch and us telling them about what we do, we eventually had to perform another séance to send them back to Brighton before anyone in the mansions found out." Webby concluded.

Amity asked curiously "You never got to introduce them to the rest of the McDuck Family?"

Violet replied "Well, we did tell them about the family, but we didn't want to make Molly's parents worry about them if she and Scratch stayed in Duckburg for too long."

Molly added "We didn't actually officially meet some of the McDuck family until that time storm problem occurred and brought me and Scratch into Duckburg again."

Libby, Geoff, Ollie, and June (Chen) asked "Time storm problem?"

Louie awkwardly replied "They're referring to an event that was caused by me taking a time machine and taking stuff from the past, which brought people from the past and even people from other universes, including Molly and Scratch, a yellow man from Springfield named Homer Simpson, a saber tooth squirrel who had a grudge on me for trying to steal his gold acorns, and a human girl with a pink bunny ear hat, whom I'm just now realizing sounds a lot like Mabel."

Mabel, who was wearing her seafoam green sweater with her name in rainbow color, got intrigued on the last part Louie said. "Ooh. A girl who sounds a lot like me? That sounds awesome! And did you also say pink bunny ear hat?"

Webby commented "It actually was cute to see, despite the situation."

Violet agreed "Her pink bunny ears did blend well with her green shirt."

"Well, this will make the perfect idea for matching sweaters too!" Mabel cried as she wrote down notes in her notebook.

"Oh, great. Now you've given Mabel a new sweater idea that she'll go crazy about." Dipper groaned.

Luz remarked "Well, Mabel does make cute sweaters."

Webby agreed, "She really does."

Donald, Daisy, Della, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Oswald, Max, Scrooge, Beakley, Launchpad, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Roxas, Lea, Namine, Xion, Isa and Myde were watching the kids bond with the committee.

Donald admired their bond "The kids are really getting along great. They would all actually make a great travelling team together."

"Yeah, they really do share a lot in common." Della agreed. "Although, I wasn't expecting to see that other girl and her ghost friend again after the timephoon."

Scrooge said "Aye. I was just as surprised to find out that the girls knew those two."

Sora comments "And now that we've bequeathed them with their own keyblade, they'll show how much they've grown from it."

Something came into Kairi as she said "Mentioning that now gave me a thought. Do you guys think the kids might be ready to handle travelling to another world on their own?"

Everyone looked at each other, completely unsure of that.

Donald answered "I don't know about that. Even though they have their own keyblades and they have proven to be capable of defending other worlds with us, they are still kids."

Aqua pointed out "True, but they had no problem making sure the MCU was safe from the heartless when they met Nat and her family."

Della argued "Yes, but that was different, because they were sent there by accident."

"True. But they still proved that they could help protect other worlds in danger without our help." Mickey stated.

Sora added "He's right, you guys. After all, I saved a few worlds from heartless on my own when I started."

Ventus agreed and added "So did I."

"Well, that is true." Daisy said.

Suddenly the crew had gotten a message from Cid.

"Looks like Cid found another world that's in danger. We better see what it is." Sora said.

As the group leaves, the committee continues to talk.

Amity asked "So ghosts in your worlds can make an actual curse where fear is removed from your brain for one day?"

Scratch confirmed "Yeah, Molly was extremely scared of a giant tooth that had teeth so I placed a curse on her that removed fear from her brain for 24 hours."

"Without asking me." Molly added while giving Scratch a look.

"Technically, yes. But it was because of that tooth statue that was in front of the dentist." Scratch defended.

Molly said in her own defense "That tooth was scary! It's a tooth with teeth. How does that even work?! Take a look for yourself."

She took out her phone and showed everyone the tooth and some looked a little creeped out.

June (Duck) commented "That's super weird."

Baljeet agreed, "That's uncanny."

Buford added "And scary."

Webby said "Very unnatural."

Sasha told Webby "You guys are birds with teeth and regular birds don't have teeth."

Violet contradicted "That is true, but our teeth aren't always noticeable.

"Anyways, there was also a curse I used on both Molly and myself, where as a bet, I could only say no and she could only say yes for 24 hours. Then we had to switch it for us to say the other way around. And that resulted in me having to eat a bunch of bees."

Everyone grimaced at the idea of eating bees.

"That doesn't sound pleasant." Polly said.

Hunter agreed "They already hurt enough on the skin."

"I certainly wouldn't want bees stinging my tongue." Dipper said.

"Yeah, just look how that turned out for Adam Sandler." Marcy remarked (3)

"Yeah. Got tongue stung by eating one. He should try to 'BEE' more careful. Huh? Huh?" Dewey joked.

Some chuckled a little, some gave a confused look, others gave him a deadpan expression.

"Puns are the lazy man's comedy." Sasha remarked in a deadpan tone.

"Thanks, Sasha." Dewey happily replied, oblivious to what Sasha means. (4)

Clover hid behind Willow's head in fear after hearing that.

Willow comforted her palisman "It's ok, Clover. No one's gonna eat you."

Lena remembered "I suddenly got reminded of another bet that was unfortunate for me."

Louie asked "Are you referring to that firewalk bet?"

"You guessed it, Lou."

It caught their attention "Firewalk?"

Lena explained "This was before we met you guys. You see, Dewey made a bet with me that he would give me $20 if I did a firewalk. I didn't know what it was at the time until Huey explained that a firewall was basically walking barefoot on a bunch of hot rocks."

Flashback; Duckburg:

The Duckburg Six and the Duck girls were at the forest where the firewalk bet was taking place, with a 5 ft path, filled with hot stones. Dewey was on one side of the path, wearing a firewalk robe and his hat that he got from Pato Pisco, holding a torch. Lena was on the other side, taking off her shoes and the rest were there for support.

Louie asked "Are you sure you wanna go through with this bet, Lena? I can easily convince Dewey to call it off?"

"I'll be fine, Greenie. I'm sure it won't hurt that much." Lena assured his boyfriend.

June agreed "Yeah, you know Lena, Louie. She is as tough as nails!"

Dewey called "Ok, Lena! Time for the firewalk! Take your place at the starting line!"

Lena did so. Louie gave her two thumbs up to give her support.

Webby called "Go Lena! You got this!"

"Thanks, Pink." said Lena.

As soon as Lena moved, She walked really, really fast as soon as her feet touched the rocks. Of course, as the hot rock hurt her feet, she yelled "Ow! Ow! Eek! Ahh! Oh! Ow!"

Once Lena got off the firewalk, she cheered "Whoo-hoo! I made it!" The other kids, sans Dewey, cheered as well. "All right, Bluey, give me my 20 bucks!"

However, Dewey said this "Not yet, Magic Girl. Now we light them." which worried Lena.

"What?"

Dewey lowered the torch and the hot rocks were now on fire, meaning Lena had to do the firewalk with the rocks on fire, much to the goth duck's dismay.

"Oh, crap." Lena groaned (5)

End of Flashback

Present:

Lena finished "It was even more painful than the firewalk already was. But thankfully, I was able to heal myself with my magic."

"So have any of you guys tried a firewalk before?" Webby asked.

"Well, at some point after Amity and I became a couple, we did try to make one using glyph magic, but it ended really badly." Luz answered as she, King, Amity, Willow and Gus shuddered at the firewall attempt.

Marcy also gave her thought "During my visit at Wartwood, Maddie and I made an attempt for Sprig and Ivy, using magic. But it ended up burning a forest down."

Ivy remarked "Still worth it, though."

Molly said "A firewalk sounds tempting, but I wouldn't last in one."

Libby added "Agreed."

Dewey said this next "Well, 2 weeks after the Moonvasion, at least I think it was 2 weeks, Lena got back at me for the bet and I had to jump a very high cliff during our date at the beach."

Flashback: 2 weeks after the Moonvasion; Duckburg, Beach:

A couple of weeks after fixing up Duckburg from the Moonvasion, the Duckburg Six was on a date at the beach, having fun and wearing their swimsuits. Huey, Dewey and Louie wore red, blue, and green trunks, while Webby wore a pink two-piece bathing suit, Lena wore a black one-piece bathing suit and Violet wore a green one-piece bathing suit.

Louie and Lena were lying on the sand next to each other to sunbathe, wearing sunglasses. Huey and Violet were making a sandcastle that resembled Disney Castle. Dewey and Webby were swimming in the water and laughing as they splashed each other. Dewey splashed Webby with water and the pink duck returned it. A few minutes later, Dewey and Webby got out and dried off as they rejoined the others.

Webby sighed in relaxation and said "After all the madness that happened with the Moonvasion, it's great to enjoy a date on the beach."

Lena agreed, "You said it, Pink."

Violet said "It really is pleasant." as she put a flag on the sandcastle.

Huey added "Yep. No monsters, no mysteries, no deadly duels."

"Just a mundane, slice-of-life date. And it's awesome." Louie finished, prompting Lena to smile and give him a kiss on the cheek. (6)

Dewey noticed a cliff that was nearby and began to gain interest. "Hey guys. Check out that giant cliff over there!"

The others turned their heads to see what Dewey was looking at.

"So much for mundane." Louie groaned.

Dewey exclaimed "Look how big that cliff is! That looks big enough to dive off of!"

Huey stated "I wouldn't count on it, Dewey. There's a sign up there that said diving wasn't allowed, although it also said jumping was ok for some reason."

Violet added "And even then, no one could survive jumping off of it."

Dewey stated with pride "That sounds like a challenge!"

Webby argued "Dewey, no one's challenging anyone to jump off that."

Lena, however, wanted to get back at Dewey for that firewalk bet and said "Actually, I'm willing to make a bet with you, Bluey."

Dewey became interested in this bet "What kind of bet?"

Lena answered "I'll give you $20 if you go up that cliff and jump off of it."

Dewey said "HA! Challenge accepted! I'm gonna jump off that cliff and land safely into the water!"

Then a talking blue towel showed up out of nowhere and spoke "Don't forget to bring a towel."

The kids are all confused by this towel. They're even more confused about how he can move and talk.

Lena said in bewilderment "What?"

The towel explained "When you get out of the water, you need to dry off right away to avoid catching a cold that's why Towelie says 'Don't forget to bring a towel.'"

The kids are still confused.

Violet said "…Ok."

Dewey told him "Thanks, Towelie."

After a few moments of silence, Towelie asked them "You wanna get high?"

"No." Webby answered bluntly.

On that note, the talking towel left, leaving the confused kids to ponder what they just saw. (7)

Huey asked "Is an odd talking towel something we should worry about?"

"No, I don't think we'll see him again." Violet answered.

Dewey continued "Anyway, I am confident that I will survive jumping off that cliff."

Lena smirked, "Then let's see you do it, Bluey."

Moments later, Dewey was on top of the cliff and past the sign that said "No diving! Jumping OK." He took a deep breath. A few seconds later, Dewey jumped off the cliff. He screamed as he fell and splashed into the water.

Dewey surfaced and yelled "WHOO-HOO! That's how you Dewey it!" He turned to the rest of the group and told Lena "My 20 bucks, magic duck."

However, they wore shocked looks on their faces, although they were close to giggling. Dewey looked to see what they were laughing at. He saw his blue trunks floating in the water, leaving him in just his underwear. He yelped as he covered his underpants with a nearby rock and went after his trunks. (5)

End of Flashback

Present:

"I was lucky that my trunk got caught in a rock before it floated away." Dewey finished.

Luz thought of something fun to tell "Oh. Anyone got any good body swap stories?"

Mabel said "Oh, we had a body swap story involving a magnetic rug."

Dipper corrected "Electric, Mabel. Not magnetic."

Molly said "Scratch and I did a body swap to help out with our little problems."

Webby said in an excited tone "Ooh. Tell us about it."

In the lab, Cid, Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, Ludwig, Gyro, Fenton and Gandra were showing Sora and company the new world that was discovered.

Fenton stated "When we saw the alert, it was kind of a surprise to see what kind of world it was."

"It's called the Land of… Fairytale Creatures." Cid said, reading what the name said.

Sora asked "Fairytale creatures?"

Mickey commented "Sounds like a weird name for such a place."

Gyro explained "Well, there were so many areas that were connected with this place."

Aerith added "And there were different versions of fairy tale characters that we're familiar with."

Ludwig explained "From it says, it seems to be a 'twisted fairytale world' as they put it."

"And this fairy tale place is infested with heartless." Yuffie remarked.

Riku points out "Well there are other worlds that will be filled with heartless that we still have to take care of."

Aqua agreed with Riku's points "He's right. We might not have enough time to fight off the heartless in this one."

Gandra suggested "Well, you guys could just send another group of keyblade wielders to this world."

Leon agreed "She's got a point. You do have newer keyblade wielders that you have been training."

Daisy pointed out "Well April, May and June said they were gonna help Xandar on a mission she has."

Launchpad added "And Gosalyn and Honker are gonna help Drake and I with crime that's happening in St. Canard."

Scrooge suddenly remembered something "Well, we do still have a certain group of 6 kids."

Everyone got an idea who he's talking about.

Beakley asked the Scottish duck "You're referring to Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena and Violet?"

Scrooge confirmed "Indeed."

Donald, Della and Daisy were a little hesitant about that until Sora spoke.

"Look guys, I know you're worried about what will happen to them, but they have proved to be capable of fighting heartless on their own." Sora told them.

Mickey agreed "Sora's right, guys. Huey, Dewey and Louie have proven to be capable of fighting anything that comes against them."

Beakley added "And Webby has had training from me before meeting the boys, as well as Lena having her magic."

Goofy said "And Violet does have good knowledge on magic."

Namine commented, "Plus, they are keyblade wielders now, so this would be a good place for them to get started."

Scrooge stepped up and said "We know they're still young but they have what it takes. After all, Adventure is in their blood. They're tougher than the toughies, sharper than the sharpies and smarter than the smarties."

This convinced Donald, Della and Daisy.

Daisy stated "That is true. If they can handle heartless in the MCU world, I'm sure they can take care of this Fairy Tale Creature world."

Della happily agreed "The Duckburg Six have done a lot for us, both with the family adventures and with the Keyblade War. So this will be a great start for them!"

Donald stated and got out his staff "All right. It's settled. I'm gonna bring them in here, right now."

Donald opened the window and spotted the kids, still with the volunteer committee. He started to wave his staff.

As the kids were talking, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena and Violet started to feel a magic aura.

Lena was the first to notice "Do you guys suddenly feel mage magic?"

Dewey answered "You noticed too? I thought it was just me."

Suddenly, the Duckburg Six's bodies turned round and flat with their arms and legs out, making them look like tables, much to the committee's surprise.

Ferb remarked "Whoa. You don't see that everyday."

Everyone looked at Luz and her friends.

Amity told them "Not our doing."

Donald shouted to assure them nothing's wrong "Sorry to interrupt your conversation, kids! But we need to speak with you for a minute!"

He used his mage magic to bring the six kids through the window. Once they were inside, Donald stopped his magic and the kids were back to their normal shape. (8)

"So Cid found a new world that has heartless roaming around, and we were thinking of sending you to this new world as part of your training." said Sora.

The kids were surprised.

"A new world?" Webby asked curiously.

"What's it called?" asked Violet.

"According to Cid, it's called The Land of Fairytale Creatures." said Daisy.

Huey asked if he heard that right "Fairytale… creatures?"

"Kinda a mouthful." quipped Lena.

"Well there were too many places to choose from." said Donald.

"Yeah, Swamp Lands, Far Far Away, Worcestershire, and more." said Daisy.

"And probably even more than that." Fenton added

Dewey asked "Is this place like the other fairytale world that you guys have been to? Like Arendelle, Castle of Dreams or Corona?"

Gandra answered "Not exactly."

"From what we can tell about this world, while these fairytale creatures coexist with each other, they are very different from the counterparts that you're familiar with. Sometimes minor differences, other times drastically different." Cid explained.

"And we think it'll be a good chance for you to try to do world protection without our help." Della said.

Dewey asked "You do?"

The guardians nodded.

"Are you sure it's a good idea?" asked Huey, unsure.

"Yeah, I mean besides the MCU, we've never gone out without you guys before." said Louie.

"We know you guys can do it." smiled Della. "Besides, Sora learned with no training."

"And you're an unstoppable team together." added Sora. "Just think about it."

"Give us a moment to decide." Webby said as she and the rest of the kids left the lab to the room to decide.

The Duckburg six stepped outside to talk about their decision. The Duck girls, Gosayln, Honket, B.O.Y.D., and the committee approached, curious as to what the guardians wanted.

Mabel, who was now wearing a green sweater with a pink bunny-ear hat, asked "Hey guys, what did the keyblade fighters want?"

June (Duck) said "Yeah. Did they have something for your training?"

Huey answered "Yes, actually. They found a new world that's filled with heartless. And they offered us to take care of that world."

"Really? That's awesome, you guys!" Anne exclaimed.

Sprig added "Good for you!"

"Congrats, you guys." Ollie agreed.

"Awesome! You guys are gonna be killing some heartless!" Polly exclaimed.

April said "That's amazing, guys! What's this new world called?"

Lena answered "It's called Land of the Fairytale Creatures."

"Whew! Sounds unique." May remarked.

"Is this place like the fairytale worlds that had heartless?" June (Duck) asked.

"Well, no. From what we were told these fairytale creatures are different from the one we've seen." Webby explained.

Gosalyn said "Cool! When do you guys leave?"

"Well, we didn't really accept it just yet." Louie said.

"We're trying to decide whether to accept it or not." Dewey said.

"We don't know if we're ready for this kind of mission." Webby said.

Marcy stated "But you guys had no trouble in the MCU when you met Black Widow."

Violet commented "Yes. But that one was an accident. This one is our choice."

Luz asked "Well, do you guys want to go on this mission?"

The Duckburg Six looked at each other and nodded yes.

"Then do it." Luz said

Anne agreed "Yeah. You guys got what it takes to fight off a bunch of heartless in one world, especially considering what you guys did here in Traverse Town."

Molly added "Plus, you guys know how to do magic."

Phineas said "And you guys have keyblades now!"

May told them "They're right, you guys. You guys have proven to them that you're ready for this. Like Scrooge always says, you guys are tougher than the toughies."

June (Duck) added "You're sharper than the sharpies."

"And you're smarter than the smarties. If that doesn't tell you guys that you're ready, I don't know what will." April said.

The Duckburg Six gave it some thought and made their decision.

"You're right. We should definitely do this." Huey agreed.

The six kids went back into the lab. The guardians noticed them.

Donald asked them, "So, have you kids come to a decision?"

The Duckburg Six said in sync "We'll do it."

The guardians smiled at their decision.

The Duckburg Six were now getting their weapons prepared and any essentials packed.

Webby said with excitement "This is so exciting! We're actually going into another world all by ourselves!"

Violet added "And thankfully, it won't be accidental like last time."

"And with the help of our new keyblades, we'll be able to clear the world of heartless easily." said Huey.

Towelie suddenly showed up again and said "Don't forget to bring a towel."

"Oh, no." Webby groaned.

Towelie stated "When you're battling monsters, the sweat will get in your face. That's why Towelie says 'Always keep a towel in your traveling bag.'"

Huey told the towel "Ok, we will."

Towelie raised his arms and yelled "Alright!" He lowered them and after a few moments of silence "You wanna get high?"

Louie answered with an irritated tone "No, we don't wanna get high!"

Towelie said "Okay… You sure?"

Lena yelled for the towel to leave "Yes! Go away, stupid towel!"

The towel walked away again. (7)

Dewey asked "Geez, what is it with that towel and asking us to get high? We're freakin' kids."

Violet answered "I don't know. Probably just some bad habit of his."

Donald, Della and Daisy came into the room.

Della asked them "Alright. Are you kids ready for your first keyblade mission?!"

Dewey answered "We are so totally ready for this, Mom!"

Donald said "Alright. Then let's get you on the gummi ship."

The group headed into the gummi ship garage.

Bog, Magica's lair:

In Magica's lair, several members of the F.O.W.L. crew were meeting there, spying on the McDuck family and the Guardians of Light.

Ma Beagle asked "Could someone tell me why we're staying in this place, again?"

Bradford answered "Because our main lair got completely wrecked and we have to stay here until it's completely repaired."

The Phantom added "Yes. And it's because someone decided to mess my gauntlet." while glaring at Steelbeak.

"Oh, come on! I said I was sorry!" Steelbeak complained.

"Sorry doesn't fix our lair, now does it?!" Black Heron scolded.

"My hut is not that bad. No one would ever think to step into a bog anyway." Magica said.

She was instantly proven wrong when Ralph Wiggums appeared on her front porch, with toilet paper wrapped around him and holding a trick-or-treat basket, apparently thinking that it was Hallowen and this is someone's house.

Ralph yelled "Trick or Treat!" catching Magica's attention.

Magica didn't take too kindly to that and threatened Ralph "GET OFF MY LAWN! I have magic powers that can disintegrate an entire human body! And I'm not afraid to use it!"

This made Ralph run away.

Bradford spoke "Alright, back to business. The cameras that were installed in Traverse Town caught footage of the guardians. The guardians have caught a glimpse of the heartless we sent to the Land of the Fairytale Creatures."

Glomgold asked "So they're gonna go into the world, right?"

Bradford answered "Well, surprisingly, no."

Everyone said "What?!"

Bradford explained "Apparently they are sending a few of their kids to fight them. Mainly the Duckburg Six." showing an image of said team.

"They're sending those kids of all people?!" Heron was dumbfounded.

"Even my miserable excuse for a niece?" Magica couldn't believe that even her niece was joining.

"Why them? Aren't they still in training?" Glomgold asked.

The buzzard answered "Well, yes, but they are going there as part of their training. But it won't matter anyway, but they're people to rid the world of all the heartless there. Especially with assistance from our new ally from that world."

Phantom Blot asked "And who's that?"

"Well, He claims to be a king of an area in the land of the Fairytale Creatures called DuLoc, which is a perfect kingdom. Or so he claims." Bradford explained. "And his name is…"

He just realized he forgot their ally's name. He looked through the paper to see what it was, muttering "Err, what was that guy's name? I could've sworn it was in here." He eventually found the name "Ahh, here it is. His name is Lord Maximus…" He looked at his last name to see if it's spelled right "...Farquaad."

Everyone was weirded out by that last name. Others found it funny.

"Farquaad?" Steelbeak mused. "What kind of name is that? He must have gotten kicked around in high school."

Phantom Blot remarked "Probably the same kind of name that makes you lack intelligence." much to Steelbeak's chagrin.

"Anyway, this Lord Farquuad guy is exiling various fairy tail creature to perfect his "kingdom" of Doluc." explained Bradford.

Magica asked "Why does he even call it a kingdom anyway? He's not even a real king."

Bradford answered "I have no idea. That's what he calls it."

Glomgold laughed at this and made a snarky comment "This short man is so stupid to not realize he's not a real king! Only an idiot would assist someone like him!"

That comment gave Bradford an idea.

"A good idea... idiot!" The buzzard remarked.

Glomgold was dumbfounded "What?" (9)

Bradford declared "I'm assigning you to assist Farquuad."

Glomgold complained " What?! Why should I have to?! I have enough problems with trying to outrich Scrooge! I have so many evil schemes I could pull with sharks!"

Bradford gave him an ultimatum "It's either Farquuad or I'm assigning you to janitor duties. So, what's it gonna be, Duke Baloney?" saying his real name in a mocking tone.

Glomgold growled and gave in. "All right, fine. When do you expect me to head there?"

Bradford answered "Immediately."

Glomgold got up from his chair, and prepared to depart while angrily muttering.

"Are you sure Glomgold's the one who should be helping Farquaad? Those little pests have outsmarted him in the past." Magica questioned.

Bradford assured "Trust me, Magica. With Glomgold's help, that fairytale creature world will be those kids' downfall."

Gummi Ship Garage:

The gummi ship was ready with the engine running and some of the crew was about to escort the Duckburg Six to the Land of the Fairytale Creatures. The guardians, Scrooge, Beakley, Launchpad, the Duck Girls, Gosayln and Honker were there to see them depart.

"You guys must be excited about this, huh?" Roxas asked.

Launchpad added "Yeah, you guys being sent on your first official keyblade mission must be very big for all you."

Huey answered "Of course, it's big. We're gonna be seeing different versions of fairytale people."

Violet added "It will be interesting to see how vastly different they are, and maybe learn their origin."

Dewey agreed, "If we're lucky, we might see a dragon and face off against it."

Scrooge told the blue triplet "Eh, just don't provoke it, if you do see one."

Webby approached Beakley and asked her "Are you sure you're ok with me going too, Granny?"

Beakley answered "Of course, dear. If I hadn't spent a lot of time training you, I wouldn't have approved of you coming."

Xion said "You guys have got what it takes."

Louie asked the other kids "You guys aren't upset that you're not coming, are you?"

April answered "Not at all, you guys. We actually have a few missions of our own."

Gosalyn commented "Besides, with how much crime there is in Saint Canard, Dad and Launchpad will need mine and Honker's help a lot more right now."

Honker agreed, "Yeah, especially with the Fearsome Five still around."

May said "Regardless of such, we're really happy for you guys."

June agreed "When you guys get back from the Fairytale Creature place, you can tell us all about it."

"Will do, June-deenie." Lena said.

"And if we're lucky, maybe there'll be a world where we can too." B.O.Y.D. said optimistically.

Huey told his fellow woodchuck "Let's hope so, B.O.Y.D."

Sora called "Alright guys. Let's get you six to the Land of the Fairytale Creatures."

Violet said "Ok, Sora. We're coming."

Huey told Sora "We'll be right there."

The Duckburg Six gave the Duck girls, Gosalyn, Honker and B.O.Y.D. a group hug goodbye. Then they hugged Scrooge and said "Bye, Uncle Scrooge."

Scrooge hugged the six kids back and said "Good luck out there kids."

As soon as they broke the hug, Webby went to Beakley and hugged her "Bye, Granny."

Beakley hugged her back and said "Goodbye, dear. Keep your team safe over there."

The kids, along with Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie, Daisy and Della boarded the gummiship as everyone else said their goodbye.

Soon the gummiship took off.

Gummiship:

In the gummiship, Sora was piloting the ship with Riku in the co-pilot seat and Kairi on the weapons' chair while everyone else sat behind them.

Minnie suggested "So why do we turn on a little music on the way over?"

Della said "Good idea, Minnie."

Mickey ask the Duckburg Six "Kids, since this is your first solo mission, why do guys choose?"

The kids agreed and Sora asked "What will it be, you guys?"

Dewey suggested "We could choose something from Peter Quill's awesome mix music."

Violet asked "How about something from Kenny Loggins?"

Louie added "Or maybe Stevie Wonder?"

Lena asked "Earth, Wind and Fire has some good ones."

Huey remarked "So does Queen."

Webby noticed a song and said "What about that one?"

The others took a look at what song she was talking about.

"That's a good suggestion, Pink." Lena said.

"I definitely like that one." Louie agreed.

Violet said "It does have a nice beat to it."

Huey asked "So we've decided on this one?"

They nodded.

Dewey said "Alright. We choose this one."

Riku said "Good choice, guys."

Sora pressed the button to the music and background chatter was heard.

(This Is How We Do It by Montell Jordan plays)

Webby: This is how we do it!
(Duckburg Six: This is how we do it!)
Webby: Sha la la la la la lo
Shabada lo lo lo, whoa
(Duckburg Six: This is how we do it!)
Webby: Lo lo lo low-oh-oh

Dewey: This is how we do it
It's Friday night, and I feel alright
The party is here on the West Side
So I reach for my 40 and I turn it up
Designated driver, take the keys to my truck
Hit the 'shaw cause I'm faded
Honies in the street say, "Monty, yo, we made it!"
Webby: It feels so good in my hood tonight
The summertime skirts and the guys in Kani
All the gangbangers forgot about the drive-by
You gotta get your groove on, before you go get paid
So tip up your cup and throw your hands up
And let me hear the party say…

Webby: I'm kinda buzzed and it's all because (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Louie: South Central does it like nobody does (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Violet: To all my neighbors, you got much flavor (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Huey: Let's flip the track, bring the old school back (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)

Violet: This is how we do it, all hands are in the air
And wave them from here to there
If you're an O.G. mack or a wannabe player
You see the hood's been good to me
Ever since I was a lower-case g
But now I'm a big G
The girls see I got the money
Hundred-dollar bills, y'all
Huey: If you were from where I'm from then you would know
That I gotta get mine in a big black truck
You can get yours in a '64
Whatever it is, the party's underway
So tip up your cup and throw your hands up
And let me hear the party say...

Lena: I'm kinda buzzed and it's all because (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Louie: South Central does it like nobody does (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Dewey: To all my neighbors you got much flavor (Duckburg Six:This is how we do it)
Violet: Let's flip the track, bring the old school back (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Webby: I'm kinda buzzed and it's all because (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Lena: South Central does it like nobody does (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Huey: YNV, SCC (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it) All my homies
Dewey: I'll never come wack on an old school track (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it) Check it out!

Lena: Once upon a time in '94
Montell made no money and life sure was slow
All they said was 6' 8" he stood
And people thought the music that he made was good
Louie: There lived a D.J. and Paul was his name
He came up to Monty, this is what he said
You and OG are gonna make some cash
Sell a million records and we're makin' tha dash

Huey: Ohh, I'm buzzin' because... (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Violet: South Central does it like nobody does (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Dewey: To all my neighbors you got much flavor (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Webby: I'll never come wack on an old school track (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Lena: I'm kinda buzzed and it's all because (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Louie: South Central does it like nobody does (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Webby: Oh, it's party time! (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Violet: Straight up comin' from the West Side (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Louie: OG's got the flavor, yeah (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Huey: And Monty does it like nobody does (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)
Dewey: C'mon now, Def Jam, you know what it is (Duckburg Six: This is how we do it)

(This Is How We Do It by Montell Jordan fades and ends)

"That was totally fun!" Dewey said.

Louie agreed "That song never ceases to be awesome!"

Lena remarked "You said it, Greenie."

Mickey saw something and told the kids "Well, kids, we're approaching our destination."

Everyone took a good look at the exterior of this world. It had a castle on one side and a swamp on the other side. It was the Land of Fairytale Creatures.

"That must be it." Huey said.

"Look very peculiar for a place called Land of Fairytale Creatures." Violet agreed.

Dewey commented, "Yeah, there's a castle and a swamp close together."

"Well, we'll know something about this, soon enough. LET'S GO!" Webby said.

Dewey agreed "Yeah, let's Dewey this."

Sora said "Alright, let's get you guys in there. Now remember, once you take care of the heartless, you have to find the keyhole so that it'll be free of any heartless."

Riku remarked "But you guys know that already, so you should have no problem doing so."

The Duckburg Six replied "We will."

The kids hugged Donald, Daisy and Della, all of whom gladly returned the hug.

"Good luck in this world, kids." Donald told them.

"Look after each other." Daisy added.

"We will." Huey said.

Violet added "And we'll make sure nobody does anything stupid."

Louie said "We'll make you guys proud."

Della rubbed her youngest son's hair and said "We know you will."

The kids and the Duck Trio broke the hug and the six kids prepared to be transported.

"Be safe out there, kids." Minnie said.

"Good luck." Kairi said.

Riku said "You guys got this."

Goofy said "A-hyuck. Take lots of pictures, guys. And have fun there!"

Mickey said "See you guys when you're done."

Sora said "We know you guys can do this."

With that said, the Gummiship was engulfed in a bright light. Once it died down, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena and Violet were gone.

"Do your best, kids." Donald said as he, Della, Daisy and the rest of the group looked on.

Land of the Fairytale Creatures, Forest:

The Duckburg Six have officially set foot in the Land of the Fairytale Creatures. They were set in the middle of a forest and they couldn't help but admire the beautiful scenery.

Webby was in awe "Wow. Look at this place. It's beautiful.

Louie asked "Are we in the Land of Fairytale Creatures or are we back in the Secret Forest?"

Lena said "Either way, this does look nice."

Dewey said "So peaceful and quiet."

Violet agreed "It has a pleasant touch to it."

Huey admired the realism "And everything looks so realistic. It makes me wonder how this is a fairytale world."

Violet told her boyfriend while holding his hand "I think we'll know soon enough, Hubert."

The team of six took a moment to realize something and took a good look at each other's appearance. They noticed they were all in different clothing. And not just any clothing, it was mediaeval clothing.

Huey was wearing a red tunic and a brownish-red vest. He also sported his Junior Woodchuck hat and a villager's belt. He had his Spirit Guandao on his belt disguised as a rapier sported on his belt with Mickey Mouse ears. He also wore tan pants and black boots with red soles.

Dewey was wearing a blue tunic with brown shoulder armor. Like Huey, his Laser Sabers were disguised as a rapier with Mickey Mouse ears on his belt. He was also sporting light blue pants and black boots with blue soles.

Louie wore a lime green Zorro style shirt, as well as a green cape. He was also wearing a brown cavalier hat with a green feather. Like his brothers, he had his Golden Khopesh on his belt disguised as a rapier with Mickey Mouse ears as well. He also wore brownish-green pants and black boots with green soles.

Webby was wearing a purple princess style dress with blue sleeves. She also had a yellow necklace with a round purple gem and two pink bracelets. She wore a pink felt belt and she had her Persian Blade disguised as a retractable blade. She also wore pink boots with purple soles.

Lena wore a gray witch dress with a black cuirass. She also sported a blue felt belt and her Diamond Dagger was disguised as a retractable blade. She had black pointed-toe boots as well.

Violet wore a green and blue maiden shirt with two light green stripes and laces tied together. She also had a small green bug barrette on her hair and a green felt belt with her Energy Mace disguised as a retractable blade. She also wore green pants and brown boots with tan soles.

Everyone was shocked at what they were wearing.

Dewey exclaimed "Holy crap! We're in different clothing!"

Louie looked at his outfit "Cool! I look like Zorro." He took a look at his hat "Look at this hat. It looks like Uncle Donald's old musketeer hat except with a green feather."

"I think it fits you well, Lou." Lena said to Louie.

Webby admired her attire "Wow! Look at this dress I'm wearing! I love it."

"You do look like a real princess, Webs." Dewey said to his girlfriend.

"Aww, thanks, Dewey." Webby said and gave Dewey a kiss on the cheek.

"This world must have a medieval look to it, which must be why we're dressed like this." Huey suggested before looking at his hat

Violet agreed "That must explain why I seem to have maiden clothing."

Huey added, looking at his hat "And why I'm wearing my… my Junior Woodchuck hat?"

Lena looked at her attire "I guess witches here are like this place equivalent to sorceress." She also, to her dismay, noticed something about her attire "What? Why am I wearing a skirt?"

Huey suggested "I guess that's how witches are dressed in this world."

Lena pointed out "But Violet didn't get a skirt."

Violet took another look at her outfit and smirked "Oh you're right. I didn't."

Louie assured his girlfriend "Don't worry, my lovely shadow. I think you look good in a skirt."

Lena giggled "Thanks, Greenie."

"Ok. Now that we know what kind of fairytale place this is, we should try to find any local resident here." Violet suggested.

"We might be able to find any heartless." Huey agreed.

Dewey said "Alright then. Let's get going!"

The Duckburg Six started their new journey that will be filled to the brim with heartless.

1 and an half hour later:

The Duckburg were still walking straight and nothing had come up.

"God, we've been walking for almost 2 hours and there's still no sign of locals or heartless." Louie complained.

"Well, this is a very big forest. And heartless do know how to blend into their surroundings."

Huey said "There must be someone who can help." Huey spotted something. "Hey, look at that place."

They turned at what Huey saw and they saw Shrek's house.

Webby commented on its appearance "It looks like some kind of house."

Lena was sceptical at the idea of a swamp house "In the middle of a swamp?"

Dewey was bewildered "You've got to be kidding me."

Louie remarked "Who would want to live in a dump like this?"

Violet pondered, "Maybe it's their own decorative style."

"Maybe whoever lives here can help us." Huey suggested

The kids approached the house, not noticing the signs Shrek put out.

Huey knocked on the door "Hello? Is anyone in there?"

Violet tried to assure the resident "We just want to know if you've seen any heartless around here."

Dewey, Louie and Lena look in the windows and see an empty living room.

Louie told the group "I don't see anyone."

"Me neither." said Dewey.

"Same here." said Lena

Webby gave a suggestion "Maybe, they're just not home. Maybe we should come back later."

"Good idea, Webbigail." Violet agreed with Webby's idea.

As the group began to leave, Huey wondered "I wonder who lives here anyway."

Just as the Duckburg Six turned around, they saw Shrek standing right in front of them, giving them a smirk on his face. The kids all looked nervous.

Webby tried to say something without making the ogre mad "Umm… Hi?"

He roared at the six kids and as a result, they screamed and ran away.

Shrek laughed and called out to them "I hope you kids learned a valuable lesson about trespassing!" He grabs some keep out signs "Kids are too easy to scare."

Shrek left to put up more signs in place while also humming All Star. But unbeknownst to him, the kids actually hid behind a few nearby trees.

Lena, shocked at what everyone saw, asked "What… was that?"

Webby gave her opinion "I don't know. But I think it looked like… some kind of ogre."

Dewey was confused "A what?"

Webby explained "An ogre. You know, big, green creatures. Grab your torch and pitchforks. Those kind of creatures."

Huey pointed out "Well, that's unsurprising. Seeing as how we've seen other mystical creatures before."

Violet added to Huey's point "Some of which we have made friends with."

Suddenly, an idea came to Webby "Lightbulb just went off my brain. We should follow him."

Everyone was shocked at what Webby said "What?!"

Lena asked "Pink, how do we know if he can help us?"

Louie remarked with fear "Yeah. What if he attempts to grind our bones for his bread."

Webby assured her team "Relax, you guys. Ogres don't do that kind of thing. Giants do stuff like that."

The 4 ducks and hummingbird sighed in relief, only for Webby to add this little detail "If he is an evil monster, he'll probably just make a suit from our freshly peeled skin." as she started walking.

Their eyes widened at that with looks of horror at the idea of their skin being peeled.

Dewey grimaced, "That's even worse."

The others proceeded to follow Webby but Huey noticed a WANTED poster.

Huey called Violet "Vi. Take a look at this."

Vi looked at and read the poster "Wanted: Fairytale Creatures." They looked at the back. "If found, fairytale creatures are to report them to the DuLoc guards to have them transported to a designated area, by the order of Lord…"

Huey and Violet looked at the name and both were weirded out by the name, "Farquaad?"

"That's quite a strange name. Do you think this Lord Farquaad person has something to do with the heartless invading?" Huey pondered.

Violet saw Huey's point and said "He could be involved. But we haven't met him yet, so we shouldn't jump to the conclusion yet."

"Hey, love nerds, come on!" Louie called.

Huey yelled "Coming, Louie."

Huey and Violet caught up with the others, unaware that they were in for a big surprise.

And that was my first chapter in the Land of the Fairytale Creatures. And for those of you disappointed that there weren't any heartless battle, don't worry. THIS is just the beginning.

Next chapter, we're about to see the Duckburg Six make a proper introduction to the green ogre, as well as meeting a furry companion and our introduction to the ruler of DuLoc.

Specials thanks to J. Tom for some dialogue and to Cwoods1997 for some dialogue and for the idea on Duckburg Six's Fairytale Creature attire.
