Fitz was dragged across the base, Mack throwing him into a room, then locking it. Simmons contemplated following but refused to, knowing she couldn't look at Fitz the same way ever again. He wasn't Fitz anymore, he was The Doctor. Fitz didn't resist a single part of it. He knew that what he did was wrong, although he also knew it had to be done. Were those two things mutually exclusive? Would Simmons see his point of view? Would Daisy ever forgive him? Many wordy thoughts filled his mind, overtaking him, because the bleak room wasn't provoking many important thoughts.
