"Probably should get something to eat first." The boy spoke, feeling his belly rumble.

Changing directions he quickly made his way to the Leaky Cauldron. Opening the doors he looked around seeing the bustling atmosphere again. Walking to the counter he hailed Tom.

"Hey Mr. Tom! Can I get some breakfast please?!" He rested down the money not knowing how much wizard food cost.

"Ah the blonde. Good morning Naruto." He came taking the appropriate amount before telling him.

"You can go sit over there. I'll bring you your food, kid."

"Thanks." Naruto smiled before quickly making way to his seat.

"Hah." He sat down in relief, placing down the trunk as he did so. Looking around he glanced at the patrons of the pub.

Or more specifically their wands. He was scouting out people to get the little sticks but still felt a bit reluctant. He didn't know their situations so he couldn't just take the Wands.

He needed to find some piece of crap to do that otherwise he would just feel bad at the end of the day.

"Thanks Mr. Tom." Naruto smiled as he placed the food in front of him.

"No problem kid and hurry up! You don't want to be late do you?" Tom warned him as he walked away.

Naruto looked at his watch nodding. He still had enough time. Still he was right. Better to be early than late.

So quickly finishing his food he kept a eye out as he left.

Now. Should he walk or call a cab?

(Break)

"Platform Nine and Three quarters, Platform Nine and Three quarters…" Naruto looked around confused as he brought his trunk and owl cage along.

Why couldn't he see anything saying it? Was it hidden away like the wall back at the Cauldron?

"It must be!" He nodded his head before looking around. He could just stand here and observe to figure it out.

And lo and behold 5 minutes later a family popped in, apparating at the pillar that was labeled 9 and 10.

Naruto watched silently and with wide eyes as the 2 kids ran into the wall without hesitation.

'Holy crap. How did that lady expect me to figure that out?!' Naruto was deeply appalled. It would be damn near impossible!

He would definitely be sending a letter of complaint!

Still. He knew where to go now! So he quickly looked sideways before making his way over.

Slowing down he closed his eyes as he walked into the wall before sighing in relief as it didn't impact him. That was kinda scary actually.

You know walking into a wall and all.

"Woah. The Hogwarts Express?" He looked up at the train deeply impressed. Did schools even have their own trains? Must be a magical thing!

It was really crowded here too. Far more than the old pub he visited last. Definitely a lot of students went here and he couldn't help but feel excited at the thought.

Looking around at all the people he finally found where he needed to go.

"who do you think is gonna-"

"God do you think Snape is-"

"I didn't finish my home-"

"-why is summer so short!?"

Naruto passed by all the conversations as he walked by. His ears were perked up as he tried taking everything in.

"The hell is a quidditch?" He mumbled his brows furrowed feeling like he remembered hearing the term before.

Shaking his he boarded the train as he glanced at the compartments that had numerous conversations.

"Let's avoid the older kids! I can't handle them yet." He squinted his eyes as he walked forward.

"Where on earth are Harry and Ronald-"

"My Nan is gonna kill me-"

"Did you hear?! Gilderoy-"

"He's so hot!-"

Naruto's brows twitched a bit as he looked inside the compartments. He knew exactly who this Gilderoy fellow was. He was the idiot who wrote those stupid books he had to buy!

Complete and utter waste of space some of them were! He couldn't even infer the slightest bit of anything actually useful from a lot of them! It was as if someone completely different wrote each one!

The only thing they had use for was a damn campfire and even old rotten wood would burn better.

"I swear if I ever see this dude…"Naruto gritted his teeth at the thought. He really wanted to punch him in the face. He had wasted his money!

Sighing he let it go. He highly doubted he would ever get the chance so he might as well let it go.

Looking in the compartments he stopped. Opening the door he smiled. "Susan! Hey!"

The 2 girls who were talking jumped in surprise at the abrupt entrance.

They watched with wide eyes as he placed his trunk over their heads.

"Naruto! What are you doing her-" The girl paused at the raised eyebrow that seemed to say 'really?'

Stopping, she looked at Hannah who was looking at both confused.

"Susan, you know him?" She implored looking to and from the redhead and the blonde.

Susan opened her mouth to affirm before being interrupted.

"Oh yeah! We go wayyyy back! We've been friends for like 2 weeks!" Naruto grinned, sliding a hand around her neck.

Hannah watched as Susan struggled before getting out glaring at the boy with red cheeks. It was easy to see with her pale cheeks.

"D-Don't do that again Naruto! I was meaning to tell you that last time!"

"Last time?!" Hannah immediately interrupted, causing the girl to freeze in her tracks.

Naruto, ignoring the red head, looked at his fellow blonde with a smile. He wouldn't at all mind using his friends to make more friends.

"Hey blondie! The name is Naruto Uzumaki! Remember it!" He leaned over the compartment shooting a hand to the blonde!

Hannah had her eyes narrowed at the way he said blondie. It sounded very bully-like but then she looked up at his own hair and felt embarrassed.

"Hannah Abbot. Nice to meet you, Naruto." She shook his hand a bit less enthused than him but she doubted anyone could be more than him.

"Soooo we are friends now right?" The blonde male sat back smug. He was sure he just made his third friend.

"I don't mind." She nodded glancing at Susan.

"So where do you come from Naruto? And are you a first year student?" She asked him a bit confused.

"Why Britain of course! And I'm a second year student really but enough about that!" He jumped up pulling down his trunk. Feeling the eyes on him he smiled.

"Tell me what you think about this!" He squinted at them as he showed the book.

The girls looked at him in confusion at the completely random behavior before looking at the book.

Naruto had to hold his ears at the squeals. Dear god! How could someone scream that high?! Looking at the window he wondered why it didn't break.

"It's Gilderoy Lockhart's-" Susan started first.

"Most famous book!" Hannah continued.

"Magical Me!" They both screeched again causing the boys head to nearly explode. He could only look outside in pain as he saw the train taking off. To think this guy had actually ensnared people into this stuff.

Did that make him really good at it or others not so smart?! He did not know.

Nearly giving up, the boy took back his book before his eyes widened. He didn't have to give up did he?

Smiling her felt like a really good idea came along. He couldn't help but pat himself on the back.

"Hey girls?! Wanna read it with me?" He smiled happily though the 2 girls shivered. Somewhere deep they felt something was wrong but couldn't put their fingers on it.

Susan however ignored as she quickly nodded. "I don't mind. I had been wanting to it before we got to Hogwarts."

Hannah, the more perceptive of the two, looked at Naruto's wide smile for a second feeling uneasy.

'M-maybe he's just happy? He seems very hyper after all.' She tried passing it off knowing she may be overthrowing it.

Naruto was about to read before he saw something out of the corner of his vision.

Everyone in the compartment stopped as they looked at each other with wide eyes.

Getting up all three kids squeezed their faces to the glass as they watched the wacky sight.

"Is that a..?" Susan gaped.

"A muggle automobile." Hannah finished for her.

"A car." Naruto simplified it as they watched the vehicle sway uncontrollably.

"That kinda looks fun." Naruto blinked.

"Really? Seems more terrifying than anything." Susan also blinked.

"It's a Hogwarts student!" Hannah gasped seeing the short height of whoever was in front.

"So we'll know by today then?" Naruto peeled his face back, bumping a bit into Susan.

"Hehe sorry."

"Don't worry now, get back to reading." She forgave him easily as she sat back down.

'Oh yeah!' Naruto grinned as he picked the book. They would be begging him to stop soon enough.

And he wouldn't!

"Chapter 1!" He smiled seeing them lean in with wide happy innocent faces. Untainted by this garbage.

He'd change that in short order.

Susan was paying rapt attention as she listened to the autobiography. It started off simple enough so she looked at the boy who was reading it with a happy smile.

'...He seems happy.' She felt her mouth twitch at the sight. It was a bit contagious.

Hannah however was frowning a bit at the words she was hearing.

(Break)

-5 minutes later

"N-naruto I think you can stop-"

He didn't.

-30 minutes later

"We get it Naruto please!" Hannah lunged at the boy with tears in her eyes. It was obvious at this point what he wanted.

Her eyes widened however when she felt herself getting stuck to the chair along with Susan.

Both girls watched with wide eyes as the boy blew the top of his hand.

"You'll sit right there and take your consequences like grown women!"

"We aren't though?!" x2

-1 hour later

"Hmm this is getting boring, maybe I can read another now-" Naruto paused, seeing girls passed out in exhaustion. Clearly they were too weak to take what he was laying down.

"Don't be disappointed Naruto. Not everyone can be a super cool ninja." He patted himself in consolation as he unstuck them from the seats.

Looking outside he blinked. He would have thought this magical travel stuff would have been much faster than this but he guessed he was wrong.

Looking over to the sleeping girls he placed his book back into his trunk before getting one on potions. His worst subject. It just wasn't entertaining, especially when he had nothing to make potions with.

So he didn't really focus much on it to be honest. He was sure he'd be okay though.

Right?

Looking up hearing a noise he smiled. "So you're up Archimedes?"

(Break)

"I think you should go with them Naruto." Susan glanced at the first year's boarding the boat being led by Hagrid.

They had woken up and immediately bombarded the boy before being soundly defeated. After changing they had come back and idly chatted about nothing really important.

They also got candy from some weird trolly woman though Naruto didn't say that of course.

Naruto had heard the announcement telling them to leave their baggage and that it would be transferred to their dorms. He had truly wondered how on earth it would happen, then he remembered magic..

He really needed to get use to that.

""First years! Over here!" The massive titan of a man boomed in Naruto's ears. Sighing he nodded to Susan before leaving.

"Bye girls." He walked towards the moving crowd of munchkins as they went down the path. The only thing that was helping them navigate the darkness was a sole lantern the man had that illuminated the surrondings.

Catching up his eyes widened seeing the massive lake appear. That wasn't what caught his full attention however.

It was a massive castle along with towers built right on a cliff. The night sky filled with with stars and the quiet atmosphere only served to add to it. Even Naruto couldn't help not talking for a bit.

"Amazing ain't it! That's Hogwarts in her full glory!" The huge man chuckled at the awe on their faces. It was always a treat to see.

"No more than four a boat!" Naruto looked down at the rickety wooden things and paled. Who the hell thought that was a good idea?!

He could only hope there was some magic going on because….

Sighing he went to it as he sat on a boat by himself. His action prompted the others to quickly find themselves there as well.

*Jingle* *Jingle*

"Oh hello Naruto? Have you usurped magical Britain as of yet?" A rather short blonde haired girl skipped to the boat as she sat down kicking her legs.

She had straggly, waist-length, dirty blonde hair, very pale eyebrows, and protuberant eyes that gave her a permanently surprised look.

Naruto smiled. His favorite person.

"Nope."

"Ah. That's too bad. I was hoping you could install daddy as your prime propaganda source." The girl looked down humming happily as she sorted through her pockets for something.

"Don't worry the Lovegoods will always have a place in my government." Naruto said seriously as he looked at the red head who rolled her eyes coming in the boat.

She had flaming red hair and a freckled complexion. She was of light skin, a very petite stature, and bright brown eyes.

"So it was you that had her talking about overthrowing the ministry!" The red head came into the boat glaring at him in a feisty manner.

Naruto raised a brow and leaned back. "Noooo clue what you're talking about. Right Luna?"

"Right!" She winked slowly at him in full view of everyone before turning to the red head.

"Ginevra. You can't say those things out loud. People will think you're crazy." The girl smiled at the red head who rolled her eyes.

She knew damn well Luna was just acting. She had no evidence but!

"Ah, here we go. Please take this Naruto. You don't want a nargle infestation do you?" The girl handed him the necklace. She had wanted to mail him it but decided it was better this way.

Naruto took it nonchalantly smiling at his second gift ever?

"You've all got in one? Good! Now forward!" The man bellowed loudly.

"Thanks Luna." He held it as he glanced at the boats moving. Man that was scary. Was this place filled with this creepy stuff?

"You don't believe that Nargle nonsense do you?" Ginny rolled her eyes exasperated. She hoped another person didn't convert to that foolishness.

2 were already enough.

Naruto blinked looking at her. "Well Ginevra-."

Many things happened in the span of three seconds.

Ginny "Don't call me Ginevra" Weasley reached for her wand to shove it up the blonde's nose. She hated that name!

Luna shook her head thinking 'Bad Move Ginevra. Naruto is a ninja!'

Naruto simply watched in slow motion as the girl lifted her wand about to aim it at him.

So he reached over and plucked it out of her hand before resting it on her neck.

"..."Ginny gulped, looking at the pointy stick poking her in her neck before looking at the boy's narrowed eyes.

"What were you going to do with that?" He asked her suddenly.

"...nothing. I don't even know any spells yet." She looked into his eyes unyielding but they still showed some fear.

"Oh Ginny. I should have warned you about Naruto being half dragonoid!" Luna clicked her teeth watching the confrontation, never once thinking of stopping it.

Naruto paused for a second before looking at Luna. "Dragonoid?"

"Oh well when a man dragon and a human woman love each other very much-" She was delighted to explain.

"I get it!" He quickly stopped her feeling deeply disgusted. Looking back at the red-haired girl who was saying nothing he dropped the wand.

"Don't just point that thing at people. It can get you hurt, y'know?" Naruto gave her it back the pointy side first. She was definitely a hot head he needed to avoid.

Who knew when she would get mad and fling a spell to the back of his head?

Ginny massaged her neck and narrowed her eyes at him before nodding. "A bit of an overreaction though?"

"I have seen the things this wand can do." Was all he said as he looked at Luna confused.

"What's this about me being a half dragon now?" He was a bit confused at it.

"You're very strong Naruto. So it only stands to reason you had a creature for a parent. Personally I've ruled out giants-"

Ginny tuned out the Luna babble as she looked at the boy with narrowed eyes. Only her brothers ever threatened her like that. She'd have to get her revenge.

Though she was happy she was treated like that. After all she was tired of people acting like she was glass. They basically ignored the fact that she had so many brothers!

"Well I don't quite think I have any ogre blood in me. Sorry Luna." He looked at the girl who sighed sadly.

"Oh that's alright. I guess I owe daddy some Sickles then." She shook her head in sadness. Looking at Ginny she asked.

"What do you think?"

"Huh?"

Both blondes turned to the red haired who was gaping at the conversation.

"Do keep up Ginny. It's not polite to space out in a conversation." She chided her saying so. Even she knew not to do so.

Ginny whose eye twitched was about to say something before being interrupted.

"Heads down!" The occupants immediately ducked as they came to the end of their watery journey.

"Guess this is where it starts then!" Naruto got off the boat looking around.

"Move idiot!" Ginny said calmly as the Uzumaki stepped to the side.

"Luna why aren't you moving?" He looked at her as the perpetually angry red head got out.

"I'm waiting for a gentleman to offer me a hand." She looked up into the sky dreamily.

Naruto sighed.
