CHAPTER 12
The Final Battle: The Rising Action
Clay and Lady Diane returned to everyone reporting on Blister's bloody death. As the opposing forces against Scarlet cheered on, the forces on Scarlet's side were angry. Morrowseer decided to confront Clay's army, only for his daughter Moonwatcher and King of Camelot Arthur Pendragon to block him from getting any closer.
"Move out of the way, Moonwatcher." said Morrowseer.
"Father…please…don't kill my friends…" Moonwatcher pleaded. "I never wanted this to happen…"
"Well it did, Moonwatcher!" yelled Morrowseer.
"Morrowseer, stop this at once!" yelled Secretkeeper. "I swear by my fangs and fire shall I spare your life and let you live as you were my love!"
"Spare his life, Mother Secretkeeper!" yelled Moonwatcher.
"Spare Morrowseer's life!" yelled Meliodas.
"SPARE THE LIFE OF NIGHTWING MORROWSEER!" yelled Clay, Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, Sunny, all the Sins except Meliodas and Arthur Pendragon.
Morrowseer could not take it anymore. He decided to flee the battle.
"You coward, Morrowseer!" yelled Queen Battlewinner.
"Morrowseer's a coward, Morrowseer's a coward!" sung Kestrel.
"Where is my brother?" asked Peril.
Arthur was looking around for Peril's brother Sky. "Here he comes!" yelled Arthur as Sky landed with scavengers Wren and Leaf.
"Scavengers of Britannia, allow me to introduce to you Wren and Leaf, native Britannia scavengers. Scavengers are endangered on Pyrrhia's lands due to dragons eating them, but…they have agreed to help us into defeating Scarlet." said Sky.
"Sky had told us that the kingdoms of Britannia are being invaded by the SkyWing queen…" said Wren. "That–what the?!" she later asked as Scarlet brought out Clay's mother Cattail.
"Mother!" yelled Clay. He later soared down to see what Scarlet was doing with his mother.
"Stay back, Clay." said Scarlet.
"Yeah. Queen Scarlet doesn't want you to get hurt." Kestrel said.
"Kestrel, no!" yelled Clay. "Mother…what have they done to you…"
"Clay…shall I die here…look after your siblings for me. Your three sisters…and your three brothers."
"Mother…I shall not let you die here on the spot!" yelled Clay as he pounced Kestrel.
"Why are you doing this, Clay?!" asked Kestrel.
"Kestrel, let me say this loud and clear: You are nothing but a disgrace to my family!" yelled Clay.
"Clay, I've got this." said Diane. "If I killed and ended Blister's life…then I will kill and end Kestrel's life."
"Not my mother…" said Peril.
"Peril, she was terrible to you…" said Tsunami. "That's what you told us…"
Peril let out a sigh. "I guess you're right, Tsunami…" she later said to Tsunami.
Diane was later given the signal to pick up Kestrel.
"GAH!" yelled Kestrel. "Put me down, you monster!"
"Peril, come get your mother." said Diane as she turned to Peril. Peril later soared into Kestrel, pushing her into the oceans of Pyrrhia. Peril never regretted what she had done.
"KESTREL!" yelled Soar.
"Dad, she had to do it." said Sky.
Soar sobbed his heart out for Kestrel as Peril comforted him, saying that Kestrel was the enemy.
"Comfort your family all you want, Peril." said Scarlet. "But you still have to face me!"
"That's enough, Scarlet!" yelled Meliodas. "We have had enough of you and your antics towards Britannia!"
"It is time to die by the hands of Excalibur!" yelled Arthur as he stabbed Queen Scarlet in the chest. Scarlet later fell to her death, crushing a scavenger village down below.
"Scarlet…you're gone now." said Meliodas.
Battlewinner later approached the Sins from behind. She later snatched Meliodas and Arthur Pendragon and took them with her.
"Sir Meliodas!" yelled Elizabeth.
"Dad!" yelled Tristan.
"We've got to save him and Arthur!" yelled Gawain.
Lancelot later ran after Battlewinner.
"What's going on?" asked Percival.
"...Quickly!" yelled Clay. "Free my mother! Let her back into the Diamond Spray Delta of the Mud Kingdom!"
"I'll take care of that, Clay!" yelled Moorhen.
Cattail was later freed by Queen Moorhen and taken back to the Diamond Spray Delta, located in the Mud Kingdom. Everyone else later went after Battlewinner.
