"Logie, do you reckon those rascals had some sort of beef with you? How on earth did they track you down at the library? Strange, isn't it?" Carlos inquires.

"It's quite disconcerting, being stalked by them in the darkness like that. I'm at a loss as to why they singled me out," Logan admits.

"Guys, I'm honestly drained from the medication. You should head back home. I might be stuck here for a while," Logan suggests.

"Alright, Logan, we'll swing by tomorrow," Kendall assures before departing with the rest of the group.

At the Palm Woods in Apartment 2J……

"I don't like how Logan sent us away. I know he's tired from the medicine but I think it's more than just that," Camille expresses with a furrowed brow.

"He doesn't want us stressed out worrying about him, Cami. You know how he is. Always thinking about our feelings before his own," Kendall reassures with a gentle touch.

"I know, but I really want to be there with him," Camille sighs softly.

"He's not totally alone. My mom is there with him," Kendall shares, a glint of hope in his eyes.

"This shouldn't have happened to him. How is he supposed to view the solar eclipse tomorrow if he's stuck in a hospital bed?" James questions, his voice tinged with concern.

"He's going to be devastated if he misses it," Carlos adds, his tone heavy with empathy.

"Guys, it'll be okay. We'll think of a way to make sure he's still able to view the solar eclipse," Kendall reassures, a spark of determination in his gaze.

Officer Garcia signaled for Officer Lopez to join him, calling out his name. "Officer Lopez, please come over," he requested.

Officer Lopez approached Officer Garcia and replied, "Yes, sir?"

"Any luck getting those boys to talk about why they attacked Logan?" Officer Garcia asked.

"No, sir. They're refusing to speak," Officer Lopez answered. "Dealing with teenagers can be challenging."

"I have a plan to get some answers out of them. Logan suggested we question them separately to prevent them from covering for each other," Officer Garcia suggested.

"Great idea, sir," Officer Lopez agreed.

They entered the interrogation room.

"Do you think you can outsmart us and avoid facing the consequences for what you did to Logan? I have a way to address that. Who is the leader among you three - Brandon, Ryan, or Oscar?" Officer Garcia inquired.

"Brandon is," Ryan and Oscar pointed at him.

"This isn't fair! We're already in trouble!" Brandon protested.

"If you want to make things easier for yourselves, you need to cooperate," Officer Garcia warned. "Officer Lopez, you'll question Ryan, and I'll have Officer Diaz talk to Oscar."

"Yes, sir," Officer Lopez said, leading Ryan and Oscar out of the room.

"Brandon, I want you to understand that the actions taken against Logan by you and your friends are not only wrong but deeply disturbing. Logan didn't deserve any of this, so I need to know why you targeted him. I can tell when you're not being truthful, so tread carefully. This conversation doesn't have to be difficult if you just tell me the truth," Officer Garcia sternly advises.

Brandon hesitates before responding, "We were given orders to harm Logan. They told us exactly where to find him and how to hurt him, but it didn't go as planned. The intention was just to rough him up a bit, not physically assault him."

Officer Garcia's gaze hardens as he replies, "Despite the original plan, the fact remains that Logan was attacked in a violent manner, and your lack of remorse is concerning."

In room 2 for questioning…

"Brandon informed Oscar and me that we must adhere to the strategy and not withdraw. Our directives were crystal clear," Ryan states.

"By whom precisely were you given these instructions?" Inquires Officer Lopez.

"A slender, fair-haired adolescent male compensated us to execute the assault on Logan. Brandon promptly agreed to the proposition without hesitation," Ryan reveals.

"I require the identity of this slender, fair-haired adolescent male," Officer Lopez demands.

In the third interrogation room...

"I objected to the proposal, but Ryan and Brandon portrayed me as a timid young man who fears everything. I am not a coward. Consequently, I channeled my frustration towards completing the assignment," Oscar explains.

"So, you were swayed by your companions to participate in an activity you did not want to?" Officer Diaz questions.

"Exactly. A younger individual, about two years our junior, guided us on how to locate Logan and how to approach him. Our guidance came from Jett Stentson," Oscar discloses. "Brandon has a closer relationship with him than Ryan and I. Jett and Brandon are associates at New Town High."

"Fascinating. So, they are familiar with each other?" Officer Diaz probes.

"Probably, but not particularly close friends," Oscar clarifies. "They frequently have disagreements."

In the corridor, Officer Garcia encounters Officer Lopez and Officer Diaz, where they exchange the evidence they have gathered from their respective interrogations.

Officer Garcia initiates the conversation by expressing his thoughts on the matter, stating, "What are your opinions, gentlemen? It appears that these young men have become remarkably forthcoming since we separated them. Our primary suspect now seems to be Jett Stenson."

Officer Diaz promptly responds, "I believe they were telling the truth."

Officer Lopez concurs, adding, "I share the same sentiment."

"Excellent. We must apprehend him immediately. I know precisely where he can be found," Officer Garcia asserts.

Subsequently, they place Brandon, Ryan, and Oscar in a holding cell before proceeding to the Palm Woods.

Coincidentally, Jett happens to be strolling through the lobby at the exact moment Officers Garcia, Diaz, and Lopez arrive, completely unaware that they are there for him.

Officer Diaz addresses Jett, stating, "Excuse me, are you Jett Stenson?"

Jett, displaying a discourteous demeanor, retorts, "Yeah, what do you want?"

Officer Lopez interjects, expressing his disapproval, "My goodness, that is not an appropriate way to address an adult. Nevertheless, you are required to accompany us."

Curious, Jett questions, "Why?"

Officer Garcia promptly responds, "You are currently the primary suspect in an ongoing investigation. Logan is currently hospitalized due to an incident where you allegedly instructed three teenagers named Brandon, Ryan, and Oscar to assault him outside the library. Therefore, you will be taken to the police station. At this moment, you are being detained. Please turn around and place your hands behind your back," Officer Diaz instructs, extending his handcuffs.

Defiantly, Jett refuses, stating, "I have no intention of going anywhere with you guys."

Officer Lopez, his patience wearing thin, asserts sternly, "That is a direct order. You must comply."

Unyielding, Jett retorts, "No, I refuse."

Officer Garcia attempts to reason with him, stating, "Jett, do not make this more difficult than it needs to be."

Determined to evade capture, Jett boldly declares, "If you want me so badly, you'll have to catch me." With that, he swiftly dashes out of the lobby, unexpectedly pushing and shoving other residents of the Palm Woods who happen to be in his path.

Kendall, James, and Carlos return from the skatepark when they are startled by the sound of shouting.

"What's happening over there?" Carlos inquires.

They hear a girl's scream.

"That was Katie. Something must have happened to her!" Kendall expresses concern for his younger sister.

As they observe Jett sprinting past them, James remarks, "That was definitely Jett, running as if a bear were chasing him."

They rush to where Katie is and find her on the ground, crying and clutching her knee, which is badly scraped and bleeding.

"What occurred, Katie?" Kendall inquires.

"Jett pushed me down for no reason. He said I was in his way, didn't give me a chance to move, and shoved me down forcefully. He even called me a stupid turtle girl! What is his problem?!" Katie recounts.

"We need to attend to that scraped knee immediately," James suggests.

"I know exactly where Jett went," Kendall states. "James, Carlos, and I saw him run past us."

Officer Garcia arrives with Officers Diaz and Lopez, searching for Jett.

"We've been tracking Jett," Officer Garcia informs them. "Wasn't Carlos with you guys?"

"He must have gone after Jett," James realizes.

"You two take care of Katie. Officers Diaz, Lopez, and I will catch up to Carlos and Jett," Officer Garcia instructs.

Carlos manages to catch up to Jett, swiftly taking him down and holding him firmly to the ground.

"Let me go!" Jett cries out. "Help! Anyone! He's insane!"

Officer Garcia quickly rushes over to the scene, accompanied by Officers Diaz and Lopez.

"We've got you now," Officer Garcia declares, closing in on Carlos.

"Finally," Jett exclaims, assuming Carlos will be the one taken into custody.

"Put the cuffs on him," Officer Garcia instructs, surprising Jett.

"Perfect. I want to press charges," Jett insists, only to find himself in handcuffs and being lifted to his feet. "Why am I being arrested? He's the one who attacked me! You should be arresting him!"

"Why would I arrest my own flesh and blood? You're the one in trouble here," Officer Garcia explains.

"I swear, I didn't do what you're accusing me of!" Jett protests.

Officer Garcia makes another attempt, saying, "Jett, it's in your best interest to cooperate. We have substantial evidence against you. Resisting arrest will only make things worse for you."

Jett, still defiant, replies, "I don't care. You can't prove anything."

Officer Diaz steps forward, his tone firm, "We have witness statements, surveillance footage, and the testimonies of the teenagers you allegedly instructed to attack Logan. It's only a matter of time before we gather enough evidence to convict you."

Jett hesitates for a moment, realizing the weight of the situation. Reluctantly, he finally complies, turning around and placing his hands behind his back.

With Jett now in custody, Officer Garcia, Officer Diaz, and Officer Lopez escort him out of the Palm Woods, ready to bring him to the police station for further questioning and processing.
