After completing his meal, he disposes of his garbage and puts on soothing, tranquil music using his headphones as he continues his study session.

Meanwhile, at the community center, Carlos and Camille are just finishing up baking their cookies and are now prepared to decorate them.

"We should allow them some time to cool down before we start decorating," Camille suggests.

"That's exactly what I was thinking. While they cool, let's go check on Katie and Tyler. If they come home covered in paint and glitter, Kendall will never let me hear the end of it," Carlos remarks.

"Don't you mean Logan? Wouldn't he be more concerned about them making a mess?" Camille questions.

"Yes, but because Kendall is Katie's biological brother, he feels a significant responsibility to ensure she doesn't develop any bad habits, like coming home dirty. But she's just a little girl, of course she has some bad habits. I have bad habits. Everyone does," Carlos explains. "He also wants to be a positive influence and a big brother figure to Tyler."

"Understandable," Camille acknowledges as they both make their way to the art room.

"How's it going in here, princesá?" Carlos inquires.

"Great! Tyler and I are having so much fun, but you and Camille can't see our painting yet. It'll spoil the surprise if you guys see it too early," Katie replies.

"Okay, we won't look," Camille assures.

"Thanks for staying clean and wearing smocks. You know Kendall would be furious if you two came home with even a speck of paint on you," Carlos remarks.

"He can be quite annoying like that, can't he? I won't get you in trouble with him. If Tyler and I come home with some paint on us, that's actually a good thing," Katie explains.

"How so?" Tyler asks.

"Because if we're messy, it means we were truly passionate about our artwork and had a fantastic time creating it," Katie clarifies.

"I think about it the same way. Of course, Kendall just thinks I'm being childish, irresponsible, and impulsive," Carlos admits.

"He really said all that to you? That's not nice." Kendall says.

"It's ok princesà. I can sometimes be childish, irresponsible and impulsive." Carlos says. "I know Kendall means well. He's not trying to hurt my feelings."

"That's great," Katie remarks.

"We should head back to the kitchen, Carlos. The cookies should have cooled down by now," Camille suggests.

"Alright, amiga," Carlos agrees and exits with her.

After hours of research and studying at the library, Logan finally finishes and packs up, feeling accomplished as he heads downstairs. The only remaining people are the librarian and janitor.

"Have a great evening," Logan says cheerfully as he leaves the library. Whistling a tune, he walks towards the bus stop. Suddenly, a rustling noise startles him, causing him to look around in unease. He quickens his pace as he nears the bus stop, only to be confronted by a group of menacing teenagers emerging from the shadows, focused on him. They surround Logan and attack him without warning. The librarian and janitor rush out upon hearing his screams.

"What are you kids doing? Stop!" the librarian shouts, prompting the janitor to call the police. The teens flee as the authorities are alerted.

Kneeling beside Logan, the librarian asks, "Are you okay?"

Logan winces in pain, "My shoulder. They dislocated it. I can't move it." Tears stream down his face.

The janitor offers reassurance, saying, "Help is on the way. Please stay calm and avoid moving."

Logan weakly replies, "I understand. I have an interest in medical matters," before losing consciousness.

The janitor pleads desperately, "Stay with me, kid! Stay with me!" He looks to the librarian for help.

The librarian sadly sighs and says, "All we can do is stay with him and wait for the ambulance." Despite the sadness, they know it's the best way to help Logan.

Meanwhile, at Apartment 2J in the Palm Woods, everyone wonders why Logan hasn't returned home yet.

Kendall paces nervously, expressing his worry. "He should have been back by now. The library should have closed, he should have caught the bus, and he should be walking down the hallway to come home."

James asks, "Do you think something happened to him?"

Kendall responds anxiously, "Please don't say that! It sounds serious!"

James reassures him, "Calm down, I'm just considering possibilities for his delay."

Kendall apologizes, "I'm sorry for snapping. I'm just really worried."

James comforts him, "It's okay, we're all feeling the same way."

Carlos expressed his intention to make the call.

At the crime scene, Logan's phone was picked up by the janitor, who answered with a greeting. "Hello?"

Curious about the person on the other end, Carlos asked, "Who are you and why did you answer Logan's phone?"

Identifying himself as Larry, the janitor at the library, he responded, "I am Larry, the janitor at the library."

Unsatisfied with Larry's response, Carlos demanded, "Alright, Larry the janitor, you still haven't explained why you answered Logan's phone instead of him. Where is he? I need to talk to him."

Larry explained, "He is currently unable to answer the phone because he is unconscious."

Carlos reacted in shock, exclaiming, "What?!"

Clarifying the situation, Larry added, noticing the approaching ambulance, "He was attacked."

Carlos, alarmed by the sound of the siren, asked, "Is that a siren?! Is Logan seriously hurt?! What is going on?! What have you done to him?!" Carlos couldn't believe that Larry the janitor was no longer the trustworthy person he seemed to be.

Carlos, why did you exclaim "siren" in such a concerned manner? Are you speaking with Logan?" Kendall inquires.

"No, I'm speaking with someone who works as a janitor at the library. He informed me that Logan has been rendered unconscious due to an attack. He has been conversing with Logan's phone throughout. Should we trust his words?" Carlos responds.

"Put him on speaker," Kendall instructs.

Carlos complies. "You're on speaker. Please provide us with all the details you have regarding the attack."

"Alright, so the librarian and I heard screams and rushed outside to find a young teenager lying on the ground after being assaulted by older teenagers. They fled upon learning that the police were being contacted. He is currently being placed on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance, en route to the emergency department at the Los Angeles children's hospital due to the severity of the situation. Before losing consciousness, he mentioned that the assailants had dislocated his shoulder. He expressed an interest in medical matters," Larry the janitor recounts.

"Thank you for your kindness and for staying by his side," Kendall expresses gratitude.

"You're welcome," Larry the janitor responds.

Carlos ends the call and begins to panic.

"We must head to the hospital immediately," James suggests.

"First, we need to help Carlos calm down," Kendall advises.

"How do we do that? Logan is usually the one to handle these situations," James points out.

"We will have to step in for him. We can manage this. Knowing how close Carlos is to Logan, we just need to approach this calmly and methodically," Kendall reassures.
