"Carlos, my friend, take a deep breath and focus on positive things." James suggests.

"La gente mala vive en este mundo!" Carlos exclaims, still in a panic.

"Uh…" James looks at Kendall for help.

"Don't look at me. Logan is the expert in translating Spanish, not us." Kendall points out.

"Hey! I can translate what he says too!" Katie chimes in. "He teaches me Spanish all the time, remember?"

"Sorry Katie. What did he say?" Kendall asks.

"He mentioned that evil people live in this world, but with a sense of urgency because he's panicking." Katie explains.

"Thank you, Katie. How are we going to get Carlos to the hospital to see Logan if we can't even get him out of the apartment because he's so upset?" Kendall wonders.

"I have an idea, but he might not like it." James says.

"What do you mean?" Kendall inquires.

"This." James grabs Carlos' hockey helmet and dashes out of the apartment.

"All that will do is make Carlos even more upset, not cheer him up." Katie remarks.

"Let's go rescue James before things escalate between them." Kendall sighs and follows her out.

Downstairs in the lobby, James finds himself in a situation where he believes he is ahead of Carlos, only to be tackled from behind by him.

"Whoa Carlos, what are you doing to James?! Why did you tackle him?" Camille inquires, clearly surprised by the sudden turn of events.

"He took my hockey helmet! No one touches it except for me and Logan!" Carlos explains.

"Can't breathe, need oxygen!" James manages to say.

"Give me back my hockey helmet and I'll let you go!" Carlos demands.

"Fine, here!" James responds, handing over the helmet.

"Thank you," Carlos says in a much calmer tone as he stands up.

Kendall and Katie arrive at this moment.

"Oh no, we're too late. I can see him standing up from being on top of James," Kendall observes. "Camille, what happened?"

"You tell me. I have no idea why Carlos would tackle James over his hockey helmet. What's going on with them?" Camille questions.

"Carlos is really upset about what happened to Logan. He's currently at the hospital with a dislocated shoulder and possibly a concussion. He's in the trauma center of the Los Angeles Children's Hospital," Kendall explains.

"What?!" Camille exclaims, shocked and saddened by the news.

"We just received the information from the library and the janitor. They found him in pain on the ground near the bus stop, being assaulted by older teenagers. The janitor mentioned that before Logan passed out from the pain, he had self-diagnosed his dislocated shoulder. We also know this because the janitor answered Logan's phone after Carlos called it," Kendall elaborates.

"I'm coming with you," Camille decides.

"Of course, Cami. We weren't going to leave without you. My mom is on her way back from yoga class. James has already informed her of everything through a text. You can ride with us. Please inform your dad that you are coming with us to avoid worrying him," Kendall suggests.

Logan wakes up and winces in pain. Gradually, he sits up and notices the sling supporting his dislocated shoulder wrapped around his upper abdomen.

"Logan, try not to move too much. You need to rest. I'm glad you're well enough to sit up, but please conserve your strength," Camille advises.

"I'm okay. I really need to sit up. It's more comfortable for me," Logan replies, glancing at the others. "How long have you all been here?"

"Not very long. Just about two hours," Kendall responds.

"I don't want you all to worry about me. There's no need," Logan insists.

"Logan, we have every right to be concerned about you, especially considering the circumstances that brought you to the hospital," Kendall counters.

"Alright, but why is Officer Garcia here?" Logan asks.

"I'm here to ask about your accident, if you're feeling up to it. I understand that you're in pain medication and connected to various machines, and being in the hospital can be stressful," Officer Garcia explains.

"I'll provide any information that I hope will be helpful. I'll share everything I can remember," Logan promises.

"Thank you, Logan. I want you to know that my team has caught the people who hurt you. They didn't steal anything from you, which is strange. It seems their main goal was to attack you and cause you pain. Can you identify the culprits? I have their mug shots," Officer Garcia reveals.

"I'll do my best, sir. My head is still pounding from the assault. Is the room spinning?" Logan asks.

"If you're not feeling well enough right now, Logan, we can do this later," Kendall suggests.

"Kenny, I can handle this. I want them to face the consequences for what they did to me," Logan asserts.

"Take your time, Logan," Officer Garcia says, placing the pictures on a wheeled table that can be moved in front of the bed for Logan to use as a makeshift desk.

Logan carefully examines the pictures, his brows furrowing in frustration. "I'm not entirely certain if these three individuals are the ones who harmed me. The assault happened so quickly, I didn't have a chance to get a good look at their faces. I apologize."

Officer Garcia reassures Logan, saying, "That's alright, Logan. Can you recall any specific details? Maybe their clothing had a distinct color or design that you recognized. Or perhaps their voices stood out in some way."

Logan ponders for a moment before responding, "They were all shouting at me, but their words were incomprehensible. It was just a cacophony of loud shouting and screaming. As for their attire, it was typical teenage clothing. Ripped jeans, baggy pants, and board shorts. One of them wore neon green crocs, another had a backwards hat, and the last one had freckles scattered across his face, I believe. But I-I-I'm not entirely sure if any of what I just said is accurate. What if you apprehend the wrong teenagers? What if they're innocent and the true culprits are still out there? I don't want three innocent teenagers to suffer because I couldn't properly identify my attackers."

"It is okay Logan. I have just received something that could be very helpful. The security footage outside of the library has a huge view of the way to the bus stop. It will show us exactly who attacked you and it has sound too," Officer Garcia says, unveiling the video on a tablet.

Logan watches, his heart heavy as he is forced to relive the excruciating ordeal.

"They match the description you gave my Papi. You were right Logie," Carlos remarks. "Even amidst the storm of stress and anxiety, your intuition proved true."

"I am relieved that my instincts were accurate, but the mystery remains. We are still in the dark about the identities of those perpetrators and their motives for singling me out. Nothing was taken from me. It baffles me," Logan expresses.

"My detectives are currently engaged in the process of extracting information from them," Officer Garcia informs.

"What measures do you believe will be necessary to elicit a confession from them?" Camille asks.

"Something unexpected," Officer Garcia replies.

"I have a suggestion, sir. Based on my observations from various law and order episodes, it is common practice to separate individuals who commit crimes as a group during interrogations. This prevents them from colluding in their lies and often leads them to turn on each other for personal gain, as their focus shifts to self-preservation. Considering the brutal and unjustified attack they subjected me to, it is clear that they possess a callous and selfish nature. I believe they should face the consequences of their actions," Logan proposes.

"Your insights are commendable, Logan. Please focus on your recovery and leave the rest of the investigation to me. You need not burden yourself any longer," Officer Garcia reassures.

"To be honest, sir, I am constantly under stress. It feels never-ending," Logan admits.

"I assure you that justice will be served. You have my word," Officer Garcia affirms before departing.

"What can I do to help you feel more at ease and relaxed?" Camille asks.

"I would appreciate it if you could loosen your grip on my hand, it's a bit too tight," Logan requests.

Camille looks down and realizes she was indeed holding his hand tightly. She quickly releases her grip and apologizes, "I'm sorry."

"It's alright. I appreciate your concern," Logan responds.
