So after this, things will be relatively chill bc I have Purple's captivity time set for at least three months and it's only been about two days, so I need to have some chill parts before things escalate within the next four chapters or so.

Enjoy!

The drive to the station was nerve-wracking.

King really hoped nobody was hurt, especially none of Yellow's friends.

But, who knew? Midnight could've shot at anything, and that's what worried him.

Second, Green, Red, Blue, or even…Purple.

Anyone could've gotten injured, and if it was Purple he'd never forgive himself.

Midnight was only nineteen. How did he know how to use a gun already?

King was way older than him and he still hadn't gotten his hands on a gun.

Then again, he handled a staff for months, so what did he know?

Yellow threw himself out of the car as soon as they reached the police station, probably screaming for his friends to make sure they were alive. King, Cornflower, and Midnight's parents stepped out and walked in and were greeted with an unpleasant surprise.

One of Midnight's cohorts sitting on a bench next to the Color Gang.

Yellow blew right past the cohort and tackled Blue and Green.

"Thank God you're all alive." He muttered to himself.

Cornflower went over to the completed group of five. "Is everyone alright?" He asked worriedly.

"Yeah, we're all safe."

King was still stuck at the door, staring at Midnight's little helper.

It was taking all of his willpower not to beat the kid senseless.

"Saffron knows what happened to Purple," Second said, noticing King's hardened stare at the small child. "A person found him near the park and he said he had to get here."

King's eyes widened. "Is Purple alright?!"

"It's….it's a 50/50 split," Saffron said. "He's mostly physically fine, and still partially mentally sane, from what we can tell. After all, his plan is what got me out alive."

"Good to know he can still think rationally." Blue said.

"Hold up…what do you mean by mostly physically fine?" Red asked.

"Well, after your guy's failed attempt at rescuing us, Midnight wasn't very happy with Sage. Hell, he wasn't happy with any of us since he thought we had sent him out as a sacrifice for their freedom. Midnight did not take last night well, and we all suffered the consequences. And Purple…"

King's heart dropped. "What happened to Purple?"

"Midnight, he…''

King almost knew what would come next.

"What. Did he do?" Green demanded, grabbing Saffron's shoulder.

"He…might have…" It was almost impossible for the poor kid to say it.

"Green, easy…" Second said.

"He raped him! He raped Purple and we couldn't do anything about it!" Saffron yelled suddenly.

Green dropped him and backed up.

The group went eerily silent.

Space had that hardened stare. "I knew that kid would come out just like his dad." He said to himself.

King froze on the spot.

Midnight raped his kid.

Midnight raped his fucking kid.

"Midnight did WHAT?!" Second screamed. Green stood a few feet from Saffron, eyes wide with horror.

The room had an eerily tense silence, and King hated it so fucking much.

"Purple had been raped." Swam in his head like crazy and he hated how it did so.

"K-King? Are you alright?" Yellow asked.

Green didn't look like he was taking it well, why did he think King was taking it well.

King's mind had gone blank, blanker than it was on the drive over.

"Where…where is he?"

"Still in Midnight's shack. I got past the drunk kid and ran for it until I got here. Midnight might hurt them, so if we're gonna rescue him, we're gonna hurry."

"How bad is it there?" Cornflower asked, grabbing a pair of handcuffs from the table.

"Abuse, rape, torture, substance abuse…what more can I say? It's pretty bad." Saffron said.

Green shuddered. "Poor Purple."

King's eyes changed from horror to determination. "Saffron, lead the way."

"Wait, what?"

"King, what are you on about?" Red asked in confusion.

"We're getting Purple out of there tonight. No matter what."

Green's eyes brightened.

Cornflower gave him a look.

"Well, let's give it a go." He said.

"Saffron's been gone all day," Lilac noted. "I hope he didn't get caught."

"Trust me, Midnight would've thrown a massive fit if Saffron was caught." Ruby said. "And then Purple would've gotten the worst of it. Again."

"You're right. We can't risk that happening again."

A police car blaring its sirens from outside caught their attention.

"HELL YEAH! GO SAFFRON!" Sage screamed with excitement.

Purple and Lilac shared a hopeful look.

"I think your dad's organized this! They're so smart!" Ruby said.

"That's King and Cornflower for you." Purple said to himself.

Way to go, King.

Pretty soon, this was going to be over.

"MIDNIGHT!" A booming voice came from above. "Your under arrest for kidnapping, rape, torture, abuse, and underage drinking of substances!"

"Dad!" Lilac exclaimed.

Midnight's voice came from closer to the cellar door. "LIKE HELL I'LL GO WITH YOU!" They distinctively hear a gun cock.

Midnight has his gun again.

"Everyone, push on the door as hard as you can! If we're lucky, we might disorientate Midnight for the cops to get him!" Ruby said, already pushing on one of the doors. The other three soon joined her.

With their combined strength, the quartet was able to get the door opened a lot easier than they originally thought. Midnight was caught off guard and didn't get enough time to push it back shut before Ruby and Lilac ran out of there.

"Ruby! Lilac!" Saffron screamed, breaking from the group to help them.

King and Cornflower, who only noticed Saffron had moved, quickly helped him out.

"Where's Purple!?" King asked frantically, looking at Lilac.

"Down here!" Sage called, helping the still partially freshly bruised kid out of the cellar.

"Purple!" King grabbed one of his hands, which brought him back to reality.

"King!" As soon as he was out of the cellar, he tackled King in a tight hug.

"Oh, thank Alan you're alright," King says to himself, tightening his grip on the small child.

Lilac sighed. "Thank goodness this is over."

A gunshot startled them all. Sage's scream of pain is what got them.

"Sage!" Ruby exclaimed, staring down at his arm.

"Shit. Cornflower! A kid got shot!"

Cornflower moved from his stance to help Lilac and Ruby stabilize the wound.

"WHAT THE FUCK, MIDNIGHT?!" Saffron screamed.

"Get away from my kids, you bratty coppers." Midnight growled.

King stepped in front of Purple. "If you think you're going anywhere near my kid after what you've done to him, I guarantee you're still drunk." He snarled.

Another person lay a hand on Purple, so help him God he was going to beat them to death.

"I should've known Purple's thoughts of you coming after him were correct. Because they were!" Midnight chuckled. "Too bad it's not for much longer."

Cornflower growled. "I'll have you know the charge of attempted murder will be in full force, and going on the run will be too if you even try to escape."

Midnight smirked. "Bring it, Detective." He cocked his gun and aimed it at Cornflower.

Almost without thinking, Saffron tackled the fully grown teenager to the ground and attempted to wrestle the gun out of his hand. "Get Purple out of here, now! While you still can!"

King grabbed the kid's hand and helped him up, noticing the still partially fresh bruises on his thighs. "Let's get outta here."

Lilac helped King get Purple on the other side of the house before Midnight snuck up on them and knocked King out.

"King!" Purple fell to his side, shaking him.

"Come on, wake up. We gotta get Purple out of here, and fast."

Midnight grabbed one of Purple's arms and roughly pulled him up, holding the gun to his head. "The next cop to try and best me has to watch me blow this kid's brains out!"

Second and his friends froze.

Cornflower half-dragged King's body away from the carnage that would've been his kid, just as he was waking up.

"What's…going on?"

"Midnight's about to shoot your kid dead."

"WHAT?!" King jumped up, his eyes landing on Midnight and quickly darkening.

"Get your filthy hands off of Purple." He growled, almost running for him before Cornflower grabbed his torso and held him back.

"Anyone makes a move, and I will shoot him dead. I can promise you that."

"Come with us quietly, and nobody gets hurt." Cornflower suggested.

"No, I don't think that'll happen." Midnight chuckled. "I'll be taking my five kids back now. And since nobody has chosen to do anything, I think Purple will be spared for now. But be warned, try and find him, there won't be any Purple to find, rest assured."

King growled through tears of horror and anger.

He's going to lose Purple again.

King almost called out for Midnight before they suddenly disappeared.

The entire group is silent with shock and horror.

"Motherfucker." Cornflower snarled under his breath. He let go of King, who collapsed to the floor, sobbing.

"Not again. Not again!"

Second and the others quickly raced to comfort him.

"It's gonna be fine. We're gonna find him. I promise." Green said, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder and fighting his own tears.

"I couldn't protect him. I failed to save him again." King sobbed.

Second sighed. "We're going to find him. Cornflower, have a small group of people raid the shack tomorrow morning."

"Will you guys help?" He asked.

"We will try. I'm sure we'll find something in there."

"You heard him, guys. Go home, get rest, and kiss your families goodbye. This case isn't over yet, and we won't stop until Purple and the others are found. We'll send as many search parties as possible, and get the word out as far as we can until they are found. Understood?"

"Yes, Detective Cornflower!" The officers chanted.

Nobody ask me how Purple is somehow still alive.

He needs to live leave me be.

Anyways, keep running up those hills, dreamchasers! And stay tuned!
