Marinette shut her locker door, hoping to find Adrien before his fencing match started. And maybe she would pluck up the courage to ask him out for a smoothie?

Ugh, it should be illegal for him to be that cute, and make her tongue as clumsy as she was. Marinette heard his voice round the corner, and sped up the pace, screeching to a halt when she realized he was having a conversation with Chloe, and they were talking about her!

"So," Chloe said, and Marinette could picture her bored voice as she primped up her nails. "Do you love Marinette or what? You two are always staring at each other in class, and don't think I haven't noticed the notes being passed back and forth!"

Marinette felt her temper flare, but cooled. Maybe she could find out how Adrien really felt about her by not doing a thing! She held her breathed and leaned in closer.

"Its true," she heard Adrien's voice and she gasped. Could this be real?! Marinette peeked around the corner. "I love Marin-" Come on, come on, Marinette silently chanted. Say my name!

"Marinara sauce!" Marinette gagged as she watched Adrien hold a can of Mariana to his lips and drank it like a smoothie. "Should have known its to good to be true. By why Marinara?" she muttered.

No longer in the mood to watch fencing, she headed for Starbucks. Coffee could be her lifelong friend, besides her best friend Cat Noir. Hm, did he like Marinara?

Sipping her drink on an abandoned park bench, Tikki popped her head out of her purse. "Cheer up, Marinette. You know that Adrien is your friend, and now know he likes Marinara!" Marinette swung her feet. "How does that help me?"

"Marinette!" Nikki said, sternly, and flew in front of her. "When we have Marinana, what do we do it with it?" Marinette shrugged. "Make Adrien a spaghetti dinner! Come on, he's bound to be hungry after fencing and you can make it romantic."

Marinette leaped up, feeling much better. "Your the smartest Kwami ever!"

Giggling, they raced off to the store. Perhaps Adrien would confess his love with no Chloe around, and tell Marinana, er, Marinette how he really felt!
