My name is Zero Kokai, and being in a dark room while sitting in a chair wasn't what I expected when I died. I guess I should probably explain How I got here. You see I'm what people would consider a shut-in, I stayed in my room playing games all day (of course I did have a job to pay for my house and gaming addiction) so not a total shut-in. One day I was bored and decided instead of playing a game to go for a walk instead though I did have a bad feeling, but I shrugged it off and continued. After putting on my socks and tennis-shoes I opened my door and stepped outside. I guess I should tell you what I looked like, because to most my appearance was... odd? I guess? I had pink hair, Red eyes, lightly tanned skin even though I barely leave my house (don't ask me how, probably genetics or something like that) because of this I like cosplaying as sukuna and i'm also 16. now you might ask why I was living alone at this age instead of with my parents, trust me I would of preferred it but sadly my parents died a few months ago right after my birthday. I had already got my permit and my parents kept putting money in my savings account as a kid so I had money for a while, I realized I had to get a job so I did... how did we get to this?... Oh Right! my appearance sorry for rambling like that.
Anyway as I was walking down the street I saw a little girl about to run onto the road and a truck was coming her way, and in my infinite wisdom... I grabbed the back of her shirt to stop her from getting hit. After that and about a few minutes of the mother thanking me I continued my walk and went into a convenience store to grab a drink (diet coke) after paying for my drink I stepped outside and just watch traffic for a while. After about 10 minutes a car pulled into the parking lot, but the thing is I started getting a bad feeling about it. So I acted as if I wasn't paying attention, they walked into the store and it seemed like all was well until I heard shouting. Peeking inside I saw him holding a gun to the cashiers face telling them to give him the money. I looked back at they're car and noticed they were the only one here trying to rob the cashier, I looked around for a weapon of some kind when I saw a pocket knife someone dropped. Grabbing the knife I went to the door and ringed the bell to distract them, and it worked cause they turned their head to the door. thinking quickly I shattered the glass and jumped inside. The robber now looking towards the noise got a fist to the face stunning them for a moment, so while they were stunned I took the knife and stabbed the arm they had the gun in. needless to say they dropped the gun and screamed in agony of a pocket knife being driven into they're arm, taking this opportunity I leg swept them and kicked their head knocking them out. Soon after the police arrived and took the robber into custody... I guess I should get to the part where I died, though it wasn't the way I wanted to go out, it wasn't the worst... I tripped and hit the edge of the concrete busting my head open. No one was around and wouldn't be for a while so I bled out. Like I said not the best, but definitely could've been worse... well now you're caught up.
"so... where am I?" I said, after a few minutes another guy appeared in a chair next to me. "yo! New room who dis?" I said in a joking manner, the other boy looked my way confused, I couldn't tell if he was confused about where he is or by my admittedly terrible joke. "my names kazuma, who are you?" the boy now known as kazuma asked me. "I'm Zero, Nice to meet you friend!" after our little introduction I started hearing heels hitting the ground from behind us. A woman with blue hair like mine walked past us and sat in a throne like seat before starting to speak to us "Kazuma and Zero, you both had short lives but sadly they have ended". 'yeah tell me something I didn't already realize' I thought, I mean it was pretty obvious, "wait! Is the girl I saved from that truck alright?" kazuma asked the blue haired woman. "he saved a girl? Nice man, that is bound to give you extra favor from her" after thinking that the blue haired girl started talking, "yes the girl you pushed is alright" after hearing that kazuma let out a sigh of relief before it was cut short "she would have been fine even if you didn't push her" huh? After hearing this I was understandably confused 'why would she heve been fine? He pushed her out of the way of a truck didn't he?' the blue haired girl continued "the tractor would have stopped before hitting her because you know, it's a tractor" wait what? After hearing this both me and kazuma were very much confused "wait if it wasn't a truck how did I die? Did I get plowed over by the tractor!?" he exclaimed, that definitely would have been painful "no, you died of shock" and like that you could hear a pen drop in wherever we were "shock?" kazuma repeated confused "yep, you thought that the tractor was a truck and ran you over you died of shock and peed yourself" after saying that she started laughing. 'dafuq? Who laughs at another persons death, that's just cold and heartless' after that I just tuned their conversation out, somewhere in there she said how I died and started laughing harder but I didn't really care. After a few minutes she calmed her laughter.
"I haven't laughed that hard in a long time" after that she does a fake cough and started speaking again "now my name is aqua goddess of water, and I send those that die to their next life so you have three choices" the now named aqua told us, 'choices? We get to choose?' after thinking this she continued "first you can reincarnate into a baby and live on earth again, but you'll lose your memories" she told us, and honestly that wasn't so bad at least I'd forget all the weird and dumb stuff I did "second is go to heaven, but heaven isn't like how you humans imagined it there's no games, manga, and you don't have physical bodies so you can't have sex, all you can do is stand around and bask in the light" honestly that didn't sound too bad, not having games, manga or a physical body is annoying but basking in the light sounds nice like laying on the beach just enjoying the suns rays "but you both don't want either of those do you? That's why there is a third option!" looking at kazuma it seemed he didn't like either of those choices
(skipping whole speech because I don't feel like typing that)
"so we can get sent to a world full of magic and monster? Sounds fun I'm in" I said and kazuma agreed with me "but how will we understand their language? And if that world is under siege by the demon lord how will we survive?" that is a good question, if we can't understand the language it will be very difficult to live in this new world "don't worry about that, with the kind help of the gods we will allow you to take one ability or item of your choosing and it can be anything, and fill your minds with the knowledge of the worlds language, though there is a chance your mind will overload and go poof" did... did she that our minds will go poof? "what do you mean our minds will go poof!?" kazuma asked what I was thinking "what do you mean I didn't say your mind would go poof" she said trying to act like she didn't say our minds would go poof when she did "yes you did!" kazuma yelled but before things could escalate "Enough! Now choose your item" saying that she tossed a bunch of paper into the air and they fell to the floor scattered around 'dafuq? Why did she just toss them? That makes this a lot more difficult' after tossing the papers she heads back to her throne and summons a bowl of potato chips.

"hurry up! It's not like anyone is expecting something from two shut-in neets like you" I really wanna strangle her right now, she has been complaining for the past few minutes. I already know what I want i'm just waiting for kazuma to choose. After another few minutes of aquas complaining kazuma finally got tired of it "so I can choose anything right?" he asked while I had a bad feeling about what he was about to do "yes anything" she confirmed and kazuma got a creepy smile "then I choose you!" he said and my brain to crashed 'what did he just say?!' it seemed like aqua didn't realize yet "alright just stand in that circle and- wait did you say me!?" after she realized that a angel appeared saying "then so be it, I shall take over your duties while you are gone lady aqua" aqua was teleported into a circle with kazuma as the angel turned to me "now what is your wish?" she asked me as I hold out a piece of paper "I wish to have what is written down on this paper" you see since it seems there are no rules on these wishes I put down a short list of abilities I wanted such as sukuna's abilities, Big raggas adaptation, enhanced body/senses and weapon creation "as you wish" after she said that I was put in the circle to but these two wouldn't shut up "now I wish you luck young heroes on your journey, and should you succeed you will be given any one wish from the gods, now farewell for now" after saying that we disappeared.

after getting over the disorientation of being teleported I looked around and saw a lot of different things houses mad of stone, humans with animal features and much more, of course it was ruined when aqua wouldn't shut up with her whining. While kazuma was dealing with her I decided to look around the area so I started walking around seeing many different stores, a market, a blacksmith and a magic shop called wizs magic shop, eventually I found a giant building that looked like the typical guild in rpgs so I entered and I got a lot of attention I didn't understand why until a big guy with a mohawk said "nice tattoos man!" very confused I continued to what looked like the reception, this woman was very beautiful anyone with a decent pair of eyes could tell that "hello! My name is Luna How may I help?" she had a very nice voice aswell "I would like to register as a adventurer" after saying this she smiled "alright! The registration fee is 1,000 eris" that put a stop to my train of thought 'registration fee?' after looking through my clothes for money I couldn't find any so I asked "is there a way to take a loan of some sort?" after saying this she nods "yes we can register you, but you have to pay back 2,000 eris when you can" after hearing this I nod and she puts a strange crystal contraption on the counter along with a card and started explaining how things worked.
"this is your adventurer card, it tracks your bio, level, stats, kills and skills, it works as your id so don't lose it. Now all you have to do is put your hand on the crystal here and it will write your information on the card" after she finished I put my hand on the card and it started to shine brightly and after a few seconds it was done. Luna then picked it up and looked it over while speaking aloud "Name Zero Kokai. Age 16. Wow! Your stats are really good! You could pick any class you wanted" after saying this the whole guild had their eyes on me. After looking through the whole list of classes I chose to be a berserker "I would like to be a berserker" after saying what I was going to be the whole guild started cheering for me which was annoying because of my hearing, after a minute kazuma and aqua walked in and approached me "why did you leave me with her!" he said pointing at aqua who atleast wasn't crying anymore "because I didn't want to deal with her crying or anyones crying for that matter. Also you should go and register I'm gonna take a quest" after saying this I walk over to the board 'wolf den, bandit camp, toad mating season? Dafuq is that?' deciding to check it out I walk over to luna and have her approve it.

'when I thought toads I didn't think they were the size of houses' looking at the toads they were the size of small houses and came in a bunch of different colors including yellow, red, blue, pink, purple, green you get the idea. After looking at them I decided to try out my new ability "let's try out Dismantle" focusing on using dismantle I feel a strange sensation like water was flowing through my veins, focusing this feeling I imagine cutting the giant green toad in front of me into tiny chunks and after a moment that feeling builds and then releases turning the toad into a blood smear "...he hehe hahaha HAHAHAHAHAHA" It started with a small chuckle but turned into booming maniacal laughter 'that power, the feeling of it running through my veins... It was exhilarating!" calming down after a while I wanted to try Cleave next and I saw a red toad a few yards away, so deciding to test out my body I Ran to the red toad and took me less then a millisecond to appear near and touch it. it seemed like it didn't do anything but after a second, half its body split from the other leaving two giant pieces of toad on the ground, at this point I was grinning like a madman because this was the most fun I had in a long time no game could ever top this. I then saw a few more frogs in the distance and decided to kill a few more then the five the quest asks for.

Returning to the guild I walked over to Luna "I'm here to say I completed the quest" Luna looked up from the desk and smiled "alright hand me your card so I can confirm the quest" after she finished speaking I handed her my adventurer card and she looked at it "What 25!? the quest only said you needed 5!" she exclaimed surprised "it said 5 was needed, not that 5 was all I could kill" after a few minutes I got my reward, I was expecting them to only give me the amount for the quest once, but they gave me it 4 more times for the extra toads I killed for a total of 625,000 eris. After getting my reward I went over and sat at a bench and ordered frog legs, while my order was being made I looked at my cards information.

a little after reading over my card my food arrives so I start eating and after I finished eating it was already getting late so I went and rented a room in a inn. And this continued for a few weeks while kazuma and aqua worked construction, I was doing quests I wracked up around 5Million eris in those weeks but at last night at the end of this week I got a feeling something was gonna happen. After waking up going to the guild and eating some breakfast I looked over at the board and saw kazuma and aqua looking at the quests trying to decide which to do, I could feel things were gonna be interesting so I walked over to the board where they were. "yo, I recommend the toad quest" they both jumped a bit from my sudden appearance but calmed down after a moment with kazuma saying "oh it's just you, you scared me half to death" I gained a grin after he said that "well at least if I did you wouldn't need to deal with her" I said pointing at the blue thing which she took offense to "hey! What's that suppose to mean" ignoring the blue thing "so what quest you gonna do?" I asked kazuma as he was looking at the quests again "maybe what you suggested, giant toads right?" he asks for confirmation to which I nod, after I nodded he grabbed the quest and had Luna approve it, and so here I go with kazuma and aqua this will be ENTERTAINING!
Okay so hope you enjoyed the first chapter of my first attempt at a book now I have some last minute info.
1st. This will be a OP character but he will let some stuff like characters getting eaten by frogs happen because he finds it amusing
2nd. His name before reincarnation is Zero Kokai but you saw his name changed to Zero R Kokai, to put it simply I just add Ryomen as his middle name because why not
