It was a nice and sunny day in the Mushroom Kingdom, and everyone in the beautiful little town of Toadtown going about their days and doing their daily routines. Mario and Luigi were at a toad's house repairing their sink, Toad was doing errands for Princess Peach, Yoshi was transporting a toad to his destination, and Princess Peach was keeping an eye out for any attacks coming from the sinister Bowser Koopa Sr.
"Well, Mario." Luigi said after he and his brother finished repairing a toad's sink. "Another job complete."
"Darn right, brother!" Mario said, as they did their little handshake. The two brothers got into their van and drove off back to their plumbing company, which they simply named "The Super Mario Bros. Plumbing Company". They were very close to reaching their business when all of a sudden, the sky turned from blue to a very grayish black within seconds. Luigi knew something was off.
"Uh, Mario?" said a frightened Luigi. "Why is the sky turning black?"
"I don't know." Mario replied. "It could be a severe thunderstorm. We've had those in the past many times. Don't worry about it, Luigi. We'll be fine."
"Uh, Mario? Look!" a now-very frightened Luigi said.
The fact is that it was NOT a thunderstorm. It just so happened to be Bowser and Bowser Jr., and their sinister army of Koopas, Goombas, Sledge Brothers, and Paratroopas. Them and Bowser were not here to kidnap Princess Peach like they regularly do. They were here to attack the village. Suddenly, Bowser started speaking maniacally.
"Alright, you little toadie runts! I am here to build you a brand new kingdom and brainwash every single toad that I see! I have some special guests with us to help me and my army!"
The special guests so happened to be an army of completely brainwashed Yoshis that started running towards the village, looking forward to brainwashing and enslaving every toad in sight. That is when Mario and Luigi realized what was happening in front of their eyes.
"Oh shit, Mario!" screamed Luigi. "Make a beeline to the castle as fast as you possibly can!"
"I'M ON IT!" Mario screamed back. At this point, both brothers were desperately getting away from Bowser and the corrupted Yoshis, who were savagely biting the necks of innocent toads as if they were zombies. It was their sinister little way of brainwashing the toads. Mario and Luigi were close to the castle when a red Yoshi jumped onto the hood of their van and started punching at their windshield.
"Luigi, where's the gun?" asked Mario in a panicked tone of voice. "WHERE'S THE FUCKING GUN?!"
Luigi opened up the glovebox and found the gun, swiftly grabbing it and handing it to Mario, who then shot the brainwashed Yoshi through the windshield, killing him instantly. There was blood splattered onto the front of their van, and half of their windshield was completely shattered.
