"Come on sweetie it's bedtime not playtime, dada has to sleep just like you do, uncle Thor should not have given you ice-cream like uncle Groot when he was your age, besides Aunt Riley and uncle Ranger are coming in the morning which should be fun." Rocket said as he was tired only Casey was not sleepy yet thanks to Thor.

"I am Groot" he said seeing Casey giggle, as he was accidentally casting shadows using the lamp and his paws getting a crazy idea as maybe a story might calm her down plus he had to tell her about her aunt and uncle, especially if Ranger disrespected him in front of Casey, seeing her liking the story, getting calm and rubbing her eyes with her paw.

"Thanks as daddy needs sleep, unlike you he can't sleep all day." he told her kissing her furry little head but also her little nose, which she loved snuggling her Groot plush going to sleep making Rocket grin yawning, until his Guardians pager went off annoying him.

"Seriously, I have to rest, but at least Groot can watch Casey if she wakes up or needs a b bottle., he muttered getting ready, telling Groot he would be back in a while and to keep an eye on Casey seeing the treelike being nod knowing he cared about Casey.

"Thanks bud, I hope I can get a little rest before Ranger and Riley get here." Rocket said before leaving the compound which Groot understood, he knew his friends's sibs was a touchy subject knowing maybe Casey would help like when Thor had almost gotten mad at him for borrowing some of his underwear to help Casey, as she was not house-broken yet, one of the many things on Rocket's to do list, among other things.

When Rocket returned, he was taking a shower and anticipating his sibs arriving until hearing Casey relaxed him going to her crib pickijg her up relieved that Groot had kept her calm until he had returned changing her while singing, knowing she loved that feeling her boop his nose with one of her little paws which made him chuckle, she was so cute making him feel better.

He'd also been getting messages from the other Rockets that he was friends with ignoring for now because he had other things to deal with this morning yawning scooping Casey up and going to the livijg-room putting her in her play den while he was making himself coffee to wake himself up mentally and get ready for the day including Ranger and Riley, making the others wonder, why he looked stressed, hoping he would get some sleep before he did something crazy.

"I'm fine but just tired because I had a late-night mission, plus my sibs are visiting." he told them grinning smelling the coffee was ready, drinking and feeling better.

"Wait wherr's Casey." Thor asked him.

"She's in her play den and happy." Rocket replied.

The others were curious as they didn't know he had a brother and sister sighing listening to him explaining about Ranger and Riley impressing them especially Thor excited to meet them, which made Rocket smirk, at his best Asgardian friend meeting his sibs and was feeding Casey.

"Dada's okay, he just had his morning coffee." he told her.

Casey grinned at that even though she did not know what he meant, seeing him clean her up after done which they found sweet seeing Carol there, saying two raccoons who said they were Rocket's brother and sister making Rocket sigh.

"Yes I know them, Carol, it's okay." he told her.

"So, this is the life you have, when not with your friends, eh bro." Ranger said to Rocket while he, Ranger and Riley were having breakfast.

"Yep, plus I have a kit of my own, her name is Casey she's with Groot right now." Rocket replied to Ranger making him and Riley curious, guessing he was busy here hearing Casey wanting him leaving them.

He then went into the living-room seeing Casey in her play den, whimpering understanding as Thanos on TV was frightening her, turning the newscast off snuggling her and rubbing her belly which was making her giggle, which relieved him because hearing her whimper had made him worried seeing Ranger and Riley enter, seeing Casey on their brother's lap while he was playing with her, finding that sweet.

"I found her outside the compound near a trash can, and she was a stray so I took her in, best decision ever." he told them impressing them, knowing their mom would be proud of him if she found out.

"Yeah she would be, if she met Casey." Rocket replied.

Casey was curious about her aunt and uncle smelling them, to get their scents like with her dad making Ranger and Riley laugh at this because it was sweet seeing Rocket agree on this as he loved her very much.

"She's just taking you in, like with me." Rocket told them.
