It was Christmas morning and after opening gifts so Rocket was playing on the floor with Casey while breakfast was cooking, because the morning's events had been overwhelming for little ones like her and Carmilla so was giving her some playtime, seeing her drinking from her bottle by herself which impressed Rocket.
He knew this was a good thing, she was pickijg up skills from him only his eyes widened seeing her her break a bauble just by squeezing it tight wondering if this was typical askijg Banner seeing him shaking his head, telling him to bring her to the infirmary so he could check her out makijg Rocket freaked out and was takijg her there seeing her playing with his stethscope which was cute noticing she was using her super-strength chuckling despite the shocked look on Rocket's face.
"I think somebody has super powers, or starting them." Hulk told him.
"Holy crutack, how did this happen and how can I help her." he replied to him.
"Just keep doing what you're doing, plus we have to teach her to use them." Hulk told him.
He then was getting a message from Howard, telling him about his daughter, Shocket who he had rescued from the Collector along with his own daughter, Linda making Rocket impressed meaning Casey would have a sister to play with, as long as she didn't hurt her using her super-strength power telling them to come over sighing seeing Casey squeezing baubles giggling, as Ranger gulped.
"Relax Casey won't hurt you, she just discovered she could do this." Rocket reassured him seeing Carmilla impressed but worried hearing Casey was getting a sister in case she replaced her makijg Casey frown, her fur going blue astounding Rocket guessing she was sad about something seeing Carmella hug her which made her feel better as her fur went back to normal.
"I am groot." Carmella said to Rocket
"No Shocket isn't replacing you, Casey will always be your friend." he told her relieving Carmilla as she hugged him.
"You're welcome, plus Howard is bringing her over with Linda." he replied to her.
The female sapling was running around being on Casey's little furry back giggling unaware they had became a blur, making Rocket's eyes widen, another power was revealing itself in his girl which was super-speed breathing deep, just as Howard entered with Linda and Shocket wondering what was going on.
"Casey slow down, your sis is here." Rocket told her.
Linda and Shocket were impressed by this, seeing Carmilla curious but Casey staring at both female youngsters with curiosity but nervous as her new sister had a purple mohawk but was hanging around the female duckling making her quiet seeing her being rambunctious making Carmilla sigh, hearing Casey giggle playing with Shocket seeing Rocket grin but Howard was stunned.
"Is what Casey doing normal." he asked him seeing Rocket nod.
"Yeah she has super-powers, we're working on it." he replied.
They heard something smash, seeing Shocket had thrown the ball which had broken a vase hoping they weren't hurt checking them for injuries being gentle which astounded Howard as he knew his friend could be rough yet after finding and adopting Casey, he was being a little gentle hearing Casey giggle along with Shocket.
"We're okay uncle, Shockie was beijg herself." Linda told him.
"I know but she and Casey are bonding." he replied to her.
"Awww, somebody's tired after playing with her sis huh." Rocket said to Casey.
It was late night after Howard had went home with Linda and Shocket telling her they would be back soon, so was calming an excited Casey down for sleep as she was growing using music to calm her relieving him, tucking her into bed, kissing her furry little head before leaving her to sleep after an adventourous day.
He was going to make himself coffee seeing Thor wonder, if he was alright seeing him nod in reply telling him what had happened making him chuckle at this knowing he was being a good dad seeing Rocket smile at this knowing Casey had fun playing with Linda and Shocket.
"Yeah she's okay she just fell asleep." he told him.
