Hello readers! So, about that hiatus? Think I'm going to postpone it for a while, So here's Chapter 169!
Edit: Just thought I'd add some new bits of dialouge with chaarcters I neglected to mention, but will be improtant for future chapters.
"Extra! Extra! Read all about it! King Reinald has been assassinated!"
The public of Hyrule Market Town were quickly gathering around a boy as he was selling a multitude of newspapers on the streets. The poor lad could barely keep up with people eager to buy papers to read.
"Oh my word, the king truly is dead!" gasped an older woman.
"How awful, the poor man!" said a tall mother with her child riding on her shoulder.
"Hmph, looks like it finally happened. Bastard had it coming as far as I say." grumbled a middle aged man.
"But who did it?" asked a shopkeeper.
"Looks like they're leaving out the killer's identity until they're prepared to disclose it. How odd."
"I bet you it was that Gerudo King who did it!"
"No way, that man from the talent show?"
"I heard he pulled someone out of the bowling alley fire!"
"I even heard he helped solve the Widowmaker killings."
"I'm willing to bet rupees that he was behind both of those!"
"I just don't know what to think anymore…"
As the public were chatting and gossiping to each other, a certain woman with long brown hair was reading the paper at a street side cafe. She sipped a cup of tea as she looked over the details of the article.
"Oh dear…" Darling whispered with a frown, "My beloved King Link, I do hope he's alright..."
Meanwhile, the former Bombchu bowling alley parlor girl Jovie was at her apartment, pouring food out into a bowl on the floor for her cat Shada. The black cat went to chomping away at her meal as Jovie heard the commotion and went to look out the window at the crowds in town. She leaned on the window sill with a sigh, and gazed out at the castle.
"Linky…"
In another area, a certain red scaled zora woman was at the hospital clinic she worked at. She was treating a man who had gotten into a fight earlier due to an argument he had with someone about the king's murder.
"All I was telling him, it was probably that Gerudo King." the man explained to Meifa, "This whole peace treaty was just a rouge to get the king killed!"
"Please sir, this isn't the place to talk about that." Meifa told him, "We need to focus on your arm."
"R-Right, sorry..."
But as Meifa was preparing the splint for the man's arm, she saw some nurses and doctors go by, hauling in another man who was injured from the bantering going on outside. She looked out the window, finding herself thinking of her older brother who was at the castle, as well as the Gerudo King himself.
"I wonder… could he really be…?"
"Counselor Xebes… was the Dark Priest Sokou this whole time?" Kesuta exclaimed.
"Yes, I pieced it all together during the trial." Nabooru said after having explained everything to the Gerudo along with Link.
"Unbelievable…" Korume spoke, "To think a being of that power was able to evade our detection…"
"With all the training Mother gave us, I thought we would have been able to sense it…" Kesuta frowned.
"He was able to hide himself for years from both Fargent and Hyrule." Link assured them both, "He must have been doing this for centuries since he became the Order of Reyahm's leader."
"Golly…" Togau frowned rubbing the back of her head, "And then that darn Jezebelle lady you were gettin' sweet with turned out to be such a backstabbin' witch."
"She seemed really nice too, I thought she was going to join our family," pouted Aviel, "But to do all those horrible things, and play with Link's heart to try and get away with it, is just the lowest of the low!"
"Not to mention treating her own daughter Petra so cruelly…" Sarami spoke softly.
"Tell me about it, that poor child." Nemisa narrowed her eyes as she punched her fist into her palm, "I swear if I ever see that damn woman again, I'm going to make her answer for this!"
"So where is she anyway?" Aviel asked, "I was hoping I could cheer her up a little."
"From what I was told, Petra's been put in custody of Inspector Turrel until it's decided what they're going to do with her." Nabooru said, "They're also looking into this estranged older sister she has, to see if she's available to take her in."
"…" Link stared downwards, thinking of the night he and the former noblewoman had slept together, and the realization in court that she had only done it as an alibi for the murder. He also thought of the pained look in Petra's eyes when her own mother disowned her.
Malon meanwhile was sitting back on a chair with Meli in her lap, while Saria was playing with her. She took a sad glance over at Link and the pain in his eyes.
"Hey Link, you gonna be okay, man?" Reirousa spoke up, putting her hand gently on his shoulder.
"Yeah…" Link shook his head to clear his thoughts, "Yeah I'll be fine." he took Reirousa's hand and gave it a gentle kiss, "Thank you Rei."
"H-Hey! Not in front of everyone!" Reirousa jerked her hand back with a bright red blush.
"So where does all this leave the Gerudo as far as the banishment law goes?" Saria asked as she tickled Meli's stomach, making the baby giggle.
"As of right now, the Royal Roundtable has been postponed until after the king's funeral." Nabooru said, "Looks like we'll be staying here for a little while longer than we planned."
"I see, I'll make sure to contact Ilite using my song to let her and the town know." Saria nodded.
"That's a real nifty trick you got." Malon commented, "You can just talk to anyone anywhere with it?"
"Only if it's two similar musical instruments enchanted with the same magic." Saria explained, "Though only one side needs to be play the song in order to create the communication link."
"That Minister Odleh woman knows the song technique too, right?" Kesuta asked.
"Yes, that's how the Parliament came to know about the dark future." Korume nodded, "That's probably how they were communicating with the knights out at Lon Lon Ranch as well."
"…" Link found himself staring out a nearby window, Nabooru's secretary Halei noted his worry.
"Is something else the matter King Link?" Halei asked, fiddling with one of her Bunny Hood ears.
"Well when they brought up the ranch, I just thought about Epona, I hope she's doing okay." Link said.
"From what I heard, due to the king's murder they're not lettin' anyone near the horses for a while." Togau said, "But I'm sure Epona's doin' fine! She's got Thunder watchin' her too!"
"I guess…" Link frowned, "I just have a bad feeling somehow…"
Suddenly everyone was jolted from their thoughts by the door knocking. Reirousa cautiously answered it only to see it was Queen Ruto, as well as her head mystic Hemeron, as well as her bodyguards Zopem and Kaidon. Also with them was the Kokiri representative Vekai, as well as Darunia and his son 'Link-Goron'.
"Hey, it's Sister Ruto and everyone!" Aviel chirped up.
"Greetings! A pleasure to see you all again!" Kaidon said in a majestic tone, flexing an arm with an award-winning smile, only to be knocked out of the way by a rushing Ruto.
"Link my sweet!" Ruto said, running up and hugging him tightly, "We heard everything from Zelda! I'm so glad you're okay!"
"Hey Ruto, good to see you." Link grinned, giving her a kiss, "You're a sight for sore eyes."
"Greetings to all you loveliiies!" Hemeron said twirling into the room himself, "A hearty congratulations is in order for finding out the idenity of the king's true killer!"
"Yes, and nice work on thwarting that Parliament and clearing your sister's name!" Darunia said proudly, "All those blowhards want to do is sit on their rears and squabble, but you both made them look like fools!" he added with a laugh.
"Yeah, thanks." the young king smiled, "So how is the princess doing right now?"
"And what about Prince Darius?" Nabooru asked.
"She's currently working on preparing her father's funeral. She's putting on a strong face, but you can tell she's taking it hard." Ruto sighed, "As for the prince; I've been told he and Lady Impa volunteered to investigate into 'Counselor Xebes's' room for clues of his whereabouts."
"This must be really hard for Sister Impa, since that evil priest is the one who killed her family." Saria spoke sadly.
"And to think that Counselor Xebes was actually the Order of Reyahm's leeeader." Hemeron spoke with an angry scowl, "I had admired his devotion to the Fargent prince, but to think it was all merely a deceeeeption..."
"One thing's for certain," Link said narrowing his eyes, "We're not going to let them do this alone, right everyone?"
"Of course." Nabooru nodded with a smirk, "For what they're done to us and our friends, we'll see to it both Sokou and Jezebelle are found and taken down!"
The Gerudo, as well as their allies, all nodded in agreement.
"That is, if you're even allowed to." Zopem pointed out with a frown, "With the king's death, the parliament now have the majority vote in keeping the banishment law in effect."
"Not necessarily, according to Hylian law, when Princess Zelda is officially coordinated as queen, her vote will count as two." Nabooru said, "Though that still leaves us at a tie at best."
"Well, it might interest you all to know something Zelda mentioned..." Ruto said with a coy smile, "It seems she's also looking into Governor Balterius' background. Now that they have reason to believe he's actually the former king of Vividel, it could be bad for the Parliament's status."
"Huh? Why's that?" Darunia asked.
"It's one of the laws established in the parliament's contract," Heremon said, "They were leeegally required to mention any past history of involvement with royalty, and Balterius' not mentioning he was once the king of an entire kingdom could be considered a major infraction on his record, a major no-noooooo on his part!"
"Oh right, King Reinald mentioned something about a strike system for the parliament!" Link realized.
"If they have enough of a major strike at this point, Zelda could be legally obligated to officially disband the parliament, and along with it, any and all of their policies." Ruto said, "Even including the Banishment Law itself."
"Hmph, as convenient as that would be, I'd rather try to properly negotiate with them over eliminating them from the voting." Nabooru frowned.
"Plus I doubt the Governor will allow that to happen." Vekai spoke, adjusting her root 'glasses', "Looking over the policies of the parliament, I have a feeling it would take something even bigger than a mere technicality like that to have them disbanded."
"Uuughh… this politics stuff is all so confusing…" Aviel groaned, leaning against the table she was sitting at with steam rising up from her head, "I need to cool myself off..."
"Well now that you say that…" Heremon trailed off, "I think I have a woooonderful idea that everyone would enjoy, we should all go swimming at the royal pool tooooday!"
"POOL?" Aviel spoke, suddenly sitting up straight with her hair standing on end.
"Uh oh, he said the P word." Nemisa said sweatdropping.
"Yes, if we can get Princess Zelda's permission, we could all go out to the pool for the day, take a smaaaall break from all this stress!" Heremon said with a graceful poise, while both Nemisa and Togau were trying their hardest to hold Aviel down as she was shaking in her chair, "Doesn't that sound delightful, daarlings?"
"Ooh, that does sound like fun!" Saria said cheerfully.
Link shrugged, "Yeah, but do you think Princess Zelda will be okay approving that with everything going on right at the momen-?"
But then a small red-headed, light green-clothed streak shot past both Link and Ruto, and right out the door. Some knights going down on hallway were startled by the small streak shooting back them and down the hall.
"What the hell was that?" asked a knight.
"Aviel, get back here!" Nemisa shouted.
"Oh dear, did I say an oops?" Hemeron asked.
"Yes you did, Hemeron!" Ruto exclaimed.
"Woah, look at that girl go!" Kaidon said enthusiastically, "She's so fast!"
"Now's not the time to be admiring her, rookie!" shouted Zopem.
"Hooboy." Link said sweatdropping.
Meanwhile in Xebes' living quarters, Impa and Darius were busy going through the former counselor's belongings, hoping to find more evidence as to what he was up to and where he could be now.
"Hm, nothing." Darius said, shuffling through documents, "Seems he covered his tracks rather well."
"He must have been prepared if something went wrong during the trial." Impa said, she grimaced as she thought about the day Sokou was supposed to be sealed away in the well, "I suppose I shouldn't be surprised he was able to think that far ahead."
"And then there's the matter of where he transported himself and that devious harlot to." Darius pondered, "As Link said, for the Song of Soaring to work, there would need to be a certain type of bird statue in Hyrule.."
"I don't think I've seen any bird statues like that before in Hyrule myself…" Impa pondered. She went to loking through more of Xebes' possessions.
As she shifted through some papers, she accidentally knocked over a box. She reached down to pick it up, only to find a book under the desk. Curious, she took it and saw it to be another copy of the book Nabooru had given her back in Gerudo Town that she took from Marceau the Mirror. As she stared angerly at the symbol of the Order of Reyahm that was designed to mock the Sheikah tribe, Impa could only narrowed her eyes coldly.
'After Sokou escaped the well, I've spent so long trying to find him…' impa thought, squeezing at the book, 'But to think he was right in front of my face this whole time. I swear, if I ever find him…!'
Then Darius suddenly spoke up, "Wait a minute… this couch…!"
"What, do you notice something about it?" Impa asked, wondering if he found a clue.
"I'll say…" Darius spoke, pushing on the cushions a few times, before sitting down on it, "This… is a really nice couch."
"What?" Impa asked blankly.
"It's so soft and comfy… I could fall asleep on it within seconds." Darius turned to a knight, "Tell me, how did Xebes acquire this?"
"I'm not sure, my prince." shrugged a Fargent knight, "I think he just asked for a couch for his living quarters and they brought it in."
"Wait, you mean I could have just gotten a couch this nice all this time?" Darius exclaimed, "Why didn't anyone tell me?!" he started trying to push the couch out the room, "That's it, I'm taking this for my personal study! Loyal knight, give me a hand!"
As Darius and the knights worked to try and get the couch through the door, Impa just rolled her eyes and went back to investigating, but as she past by the window, she suddenly saw something fly past it.
"Huh? What was that?" Impa asked, looking out the window, only to see Aviel with her Roc's Wings flying from window to window looking through them.
"What on earth is she doing?!" the Sheikah exclaimed with her jaw dropped.
Meanwhile in another room, Zelda was going through some paperwork and signing some documents. She yawned out, and tried to force herself to keep her eyes open.
"Is everything okay, my princess?" a maid asked, bringing her a cup of tea.
"Oh I'm quite fine." Zelda smiled lightly, accepting and sipping at the tea, "These perpetrations for my father's funeral are a little more tasking than I thought."
"You've been working all morning. Perhaps you just need a break for now?" the maid suggested.
"N-No, I think I'll be fine." Zelda shook her head, "Thank you for the tea, I wouldn't want anyone seeing me dozing off like that."
But then Zelda noticed the maid froze up all of a sudden, and the princess looked up to see something was perched outside on the windowsill. A small scrawny humanoid figure with giant bird wings, staring through the glass at them with eerie golden eyes.
"Hee hee hee… I found you!" grinned the winged one widely as it opened the window and stepped in.
"Yeeeeeeek!" screamed the maid, "It's a monster!"
"Halt!" shouted some knights, bursting in through the door with spears, "Back away from the princess you monster! We won't allow you to-!"
"Princess Zoya!" the 'monster' shouted out, jumping at Zelda and giving her a big hug with her wings, "Can we use the royal pool? Pleeeeease?"
"H-HUH?" the knights stood stupefied at the 'monster' hugging the princess
"Eeehh?" Zelda in confusion, "Wait, aren't you one of Link's-?"
"Princess!" shouted Link, bursting into the room with Nabooru, Nemisa and Ruto, "We just came to warn you that Aviel is-!"
"-here." Nemisa slapped her palm against her face at the sight of Aviel affectionately hugging Zelda.
"W-What's going on? What is this demon?" asked a confused solider.
"It's quite alright." Zelda said with an awkward smile, "it's just one of King Link's fiances."
"Zelda, I'm so sorry about this!" Ruto said desperately, "This is Hemeron's fault, he said the word 'pool' and Aviel just-!"
"No, no, it's quite fine!" Zelda said waving her hand dismissively, as she patted Aviel on the head, "It… honestly feels nice to have her hug me right now. It's very comforting."
"Heeeeeeeeee…" Aviel nuzzled Zelda affectionately with a small grin.
"Heh, who would have thought Aviel's hugs could be so powerful?" Nabooru chuckled.
"But, what's this about 'pool'?" Zelda asked curiously.
"Well, I just thought we should ask to take some time to go out to the royal pool." Ruto said, "But I can understand if you'd rather not-"
"…actually, maybe that doesn't sound like a bad idea." Zelda said, surprising everyone, "I think I could use a break from my work after all."
"Yaaaay! Thanks Princess Zaylee!" Aviel cheered.
"Would it kill you to at least get the her majesty's name right?" Nemisa shouted.
"Wooooah! Check this out!" Aviel exclaimed as she stood at the top of the stairs that led out to the back courtyard of the castle.
They saw what was probably the biggest swimming pool they had ever seen. The design was gourd-like in shape, made with pure white tiles, the water was clean and tranquil, there were green palm trees planted in nearby grass spots, and there was already cooks working on refreshments for everyone.
"My, this is even more impressive than the one at Gerudo Palace!" Nemisa said astonished as she and Aviel, along with Link, Saria, Togau, Sarami, Reirousa, Kesuta, Korume, Malon, Ruto, Halei, Zopem, Kaidon and Vekai, were all standing before the pool.
"Say, where's Mr. Darunia and his son?" Saria asked looking around.
"He wasn't interested, Gorons don't take well to water after all." Link said, currently wearing a pair of swim trunks and a towel wrapped around his shoulder, "But they assured us to just have fun today."
"Sounds good ta me!" Togau grinned, running out towards the poolside and throwing off her large shirt, revealing her in a one-piece green swimsuit, before jumping right into the water, "Cannonbaaall!"
Togau emerged out from the water and waved them, "Come on in everyone, water's perfect!"
"With pleasure, here I go!" Kaidon said pumping his fist, he sprinted across the ground at incredible speed and leapt high into the air, spinning like a drill and impacting into the water.
"Woah, nice one!" Togau grinned, giving Kaidon a high five.
"Hey, we were told no diving!" Zopem shouted in a booming voice.
"You're as much of a stick in the mud as ever Zopem-dear." chuckled Ruto, strolling past him and doing a powerful jump into the air, spinning in circles before diving gracefully into the water, she came up and waved to everyone, "Yooo-hooo! Come on in everyone, no need to be shy!"
"Yaaaayy!" Aviel squealed, removing her robe to show she was wearing a pink two-piece swimsuit. She went running at mach speed and leapt into the air before diving into the water.
"They're certainly making it look inviting." Nemisa chuckled lightly as she slowly removed her robe, revealing herself in a new black two-piece bikini.
"A two-piece? That's new for you." Link grinned.
"I thought you'd like it." chuckled Nemisa, tickling his chin, she slowly walked off to the ladder to climb in, making sure she moved her hips with each step to get Link's attention.
"Well, here goes nothing…" Saria removed her own robe to show off a green two-piece swimsuit with white frills, the suit showed off the slight curves she gained from the good food and exercise she had in Gerudo Town, while her deeply tanned skin from spending the past years at the desert nicely contrasted with her short green hair. She tried to do a sexy pose by putting her hand behind her head and her other hand to her hip, "Uh, so what do you think Link? I know I don't look as pretty as when I was turned into an adult, but…"
"Nah, you look great Saria." Link smiled, "Living with the Gerudo has definitely made you more confident in yourself."
Saria blushed lightly as she glanced down, gripping at her arm with her hand, but was quickly pushed towards the pool by Vekai all of a sudden.
"Alright, enough of that already. Let's just swim." Vekai said in a grumpy tone. The assistant was wearing a more modest one-piece swimsuit, and unlike Saria she lacked any real figure to show off.
"Huh, wonder what wrong with Vekai?" Link asked.
"She seems rather frustrated," Sarami spoke stepping up to Link's side, "I wonder if things are going well with her and Mr. Mido?"
"I hope so." Link frowned, "She gets along with him better than anyone else in the village."
"I'm sure things will be fine with them then," Sarami said, slowly removing her robe to reveal a bold white colored two-piece bikini that showed off her curvaceous figure. She flashed a deep smile at Link, twirling a strand of her hair around her finger, "So what do you think of mine, Link-honey?"
"You're stunning, absolutely stunning." Link gasped. Sarami smiled as she strolled off to the pool. Link couldn't tear his eyes from her sensual stride as she headed to the swallow end of the water.
"Gotta say, working the pool isn't hard work." a chef commented to one of his fellow workers.
As Sarami was about to enter the water, she looked over to see Halei was slowly inching towards the water while still wearing her robe. The young mousy woman slowly brought forward one of her legs and dipped her toe in the water, seeing the temperature was perfect, but was still hesitant. She opened her robe to reveal she wore a white and blue striped one-piece swimsuit. On her slim, tiny frame she didn't have much to show off, though she wasn't really trying to impress anyone.
"Are you doing okay Ms. Halei?' Sarami asked, "Aviel says you don't really use the pool at all in the palace. Do you not know how to swim?"
"It's not that I don't," Halei gulped, "But I don't know if I should be having fun like this when there's work I should be doing for Lady Nabooru…"
Sarami looked to the younger woman for a moment, before smiling blissfully, "Halei-dear, it's quite fine. You deserve a break form your hard work as much as everyone."
"I…" Halei was about to protest, but gave in and nodded, "Okay." as she joined Sarami in the pool.
Korume meanwhile looked over to Kesuta, who removed her own robe to show off a bold, black-colored skimpy swimsuit, though she lacked much of a figure to show anything off, "Are you going into the water, sister? I thought you'd had a problem with it being a fire elemental."
"Just gonna try the shallow end for now." Kesuta said, leaning back to do her best to show off her figure to Link, "I wanna try to adapt more to water so I can swim with everyone!"
"Kukuku…" Korume giggled.
"What's so funny?" Kesuta snapped with the end of her ponytail igniting with fire.
"I'm sorry sister, it's just… you never would have tried to do this sort of thing before…" Korume said with a genuine smile, "It makes me happy to see how much being with Link has changed you."
"Keeheehee, I could say the same about you, sis!" Kesuta snickered, "You never used to smile this much before!"
"I suppose…" Korume spoke softly, she took Kesuta's hand, "Now come, I'll make sure you don't drown."
"Hey, I'm not that incompetent!" Kesuta said, only to almost trip over a step, "You didn't see that!"
"Uh… guess I'm gonna go in too…" Reirousa said, wearing her same green camouflage bikini from back at Zora Coast, she looked down at Malon who was clutching at her robe, "How 'bout you?"
"Everyone here has such nice figures…" Malon whispered, taking a glance at Link who was watching Korume remove her own robe to show the modest light blue one-piece suit she was wearing on her slim frame, "Uh, I think I'll pass for now."
"Alright, suit yerself I guess." Reirousa shrugged, walking off to the pool.
Link looked out at everyone already in the pool playing together, while Zopem was running around trying to his hardest to maintain order, he was happy to get everyone unwind after all that happened.
The young king spoke, "Now we just need to wait for..."
"Hey Link, not getting in the water yet?"
Link turned to see Nabooru standing there in a white robe, and by her side was Princess Zelda and Prince Darius. Zelda was wearing a pink fluffy bathrobe and looking somewhat embarrassed.
"Just waiting for you guys to show up." Link grinned, he glanced to Zelda who looked away, "Hey Princess, glad to see you came. You deserve a chance to relax like everyone else."
"Thank you…" Zelda spoke in a small voice, she took a deep breath, before moving her robe, showing that she was wearing a blue two-piece swimsuit, it wasn't anything too flashy, but it did show off her figure well, "Um, what do you think?"
Link stared for a brief second, but realized Darius was there and averted his gaze, "You look just fine, Princess. It's a… um, cute swimsuit."
"Heh, that's all you got to say about it?" Nabooru whispered to Link with a grin.
"Don't even start with that." Link muttered to her.
"Thank you King Link… Darius helped me pick it out." Zelda said looking away herself.
"I do love the color blue, it highlights the color in my lovely princess' eyes!" Darius said in an odd nasally voice.
Zelda blushed heavily at her husband's words, but Link and Nabooru were more focused on the prince's attire.
Darius was wearing a red and white striped crew neck t-shirt and shorts, along with a small dapper straw hat and a walking cane in his hand. He also had a significant amount of sunscreen on his nose, as well as wearing noseplugs in his nostrils.
"Uh, Darius?" Link asked, "What's with all that? Wouldn't you prefer a swimsuit?"
"Unfortunately I don't quite tan all that well!" Darius said, spinning his cane, doing a magnificent poise and laughing out, "I wouldn't last a minute in the desert without becoming as red an Octorok, that's for sure! Ha-ha!"
"That's not really something to brag about." Nabooru sweatdropped,
"Heeeellooooo dearies!" spoke up a sultry woman's voice, as a dark figure gracefully leaped through the air from the top of the staircase, over the head of Link and the others, and landing perfectly down before them, "Ready to enjoy this fine daaaay?"
Before them stood an orange and white stripped zora woman with a very pronounced and voluptuous figure that was wearing a black two piece bikini. Her wide hips were shifting left and right, and her giant breasts bounced with each erratic movement. She also had overly large puckered lips. This was actually the head mystic Hemeron, who due to being a clownfish zora had an odd quirk that caused him to randomly change genders.
"So what do yoooou all think of my suit?" she said doing a poise.
"Uh, okay I guess." Link said flatly, too aware of Hemeron's quirk for him to care.
"Oh goddesses, here he goes again." groaned Zopem, burying his head in his palm in mortifacation.
"Hey, looks like Hemeron's sister has joined us!" Kaidon said brightly, he waved to her, "Come on in!"
"Well don't if I do deeeaaary!" said Hemeron strutting her steps to the pool, making sure to give Zopem a wink before diving into the water.
"Stop encouraging him!" Zopem shouted to the mytsic.
"Well I suppose it's my time to shine then." Nabooru spoke, getting Link's attention.
Nabooru did a graceful twirl as she removed the strap on her robe and unfurled it, showing off her own swimsuit. It consisted of a top that was little more than a strap that went around the beck of her neck and around her large round breasts, along with a small matching thong that showed off her impressive waist and thighs. She put a hand to her hip and smirked widely.
"So what do you think, Link?" Nabooru asked, "Is this enough eye cleanser for you?"
"You…" Link stared for a moment, before shaking ti off, "…are just amazing as always Nabooru."
'Naturally." Nabooru chuckled, tickling his chin, before strolling off to the pool.
"So how are things working out between you two?" Zelda asked, "From what Ruto told me, Nabooru's still not officially your bride, right?"
"It's… complicated." Link shook his head, "But then again, most relationships are."
"...you've grown a lot Link." Zelda smiled, she boldly took Link's arm and pulled him towards the pool, "But let's just have some fun for today, okay?"
"Alright!" Link nodded with a grin, happy to see her spirits were brighter than before, as they went to the water.
"Alright, let's see if you can catch this one!" Togau said, punching her beach ball with her fist, sending it flying across the pool.
"I got it! I got it!" Kaidon said, fighting with Aviel to try to hit it before her.
"No, I got it!" Aviel said pushing him away and waving her arms, only for the beach ball to come down and bonk her on the head, sending it flying in another direction, "I don't got it."
"Allow me deearies!" Hemeron said, lunging at the ball, only to slam into Kaidon from behind, "Oh, so soooory my dear!"
"It's quite fine!" Kaidon said frozen stiff, as he could feel the zora 'woman''s chest pressing against him.
"No prob, I'll get the ball for ya!" Reirousa said, jumping up and smacking the beach ball with her fist, sending it flying back the other way at Nemisa and Togau with blinding speed.
"Uh oh, watch out! Reirousa's counterpunch!" Nemisa exclaimed, she and Togau went ducking into the water as the beach ball went whizzing over their heads.
"Sister, duck!" Korume shouted to her Kesuta who was still wadding in the shallow end.
Kesuta snickered with her back turned, "What are you talking about Sister? I don't see a duck around-"
But then the beach ball impacted right into the back of her head, causing her to fall face first into the water and sending the ball flying back the other way and landing on the grass.
"Uh, oops." Reirousa muttered.
"Blorb..." Kesuta groaned as she floated on the surface of the water.
"Hey, watch where you're throwing that ball!" Zopem shouted to Reirousa. He saw Aviel and Kaidon were both running by the edge of the pool to retrieve the ball and he shouted, "And no running! That's dangerous!"
Meanwhile Ruto was playfully splashing water at Zelda, who giggled as she shielded herself from the zora girl's attacks.
"No splashing the Hylian princess!" Zopem shouted, only to then realize he just scolded his queen, and bowed frantically to her, "Uh, m-my apologizes, your majesty!"
Ruto and Zelda glanced to each other for a moment, before they both brought back their arms and splashed Zopem at the same time. The zora was left confused as the two girls swam off together laughing.
Darius meanwhile was steadily trying to swim around, making sure to keep his head out of the water at all times. He went past Vekai who was floating on a circular inflatable tube, sipping a drink.
"I take it you don't swim much Prince Fargent?" Vekai pointed out as he went by.
"Ha, I can swim just fine, little one of the forest!" Darius said triumphantly, "Behold my graceful dolphin-like maneuvers as I swim across the pool's length!"
Vekai watched blankly as Darius did a clumsy dog paddle as his eyes were closed, but since he wasn't looking where he was going he was just moving in circles, until he bumped into Reirousa from behind.
"Hey, what the hell was that?" Reirousa exclaimed, instinctively grabbing Darius by the shirt and flinging him across the pool.
"Wooooaaaah!" Darius exclaimed, flying through the air and impacting into the swallow end of the pool, joining Kesuta bobbing in the water.
"Oops." Reirousa muttered.
"Ugh… what's all the yelling about?" Kesuta groaned as she got up and rubbed at her head, only to see Darius stand up with his bottom half exposed to the world, as he had lost his shorts in midair.
"Ah, Ms. Kesuta!" Darius said, "Have you by chance seen my shorts?"
But Kesuta only screamed out in horror and uppercutted Darius through the air.
"Stop launching the Fargent prince everywhere!" Zopem shouted to the sorceress and Reirousa.
"Here it comes Kaidon, catch!" Link said, smacking the beach ball at the zora who caught it.
"Nice one King Link, but let's see you catch this one!" Kaidon said tossing the beach ball back.
"I got it!" Link said, holding out his hands, only for Darius to come hurling down and bashing Link on the head.
Everyone watched as the two remained in the water for a few moments, before both bobbing out and floating on the surface.
"Maybe we all should have signed an 'Accordance For Royal Duel' before coming out here." Nabooru said sweatdroppoing.
The day was approaching noon time, and everyone took a break from swimming to eat.
"We need more beef!" Link said.
"No way, we need extra grilled fish!" Kaidon shot back.
"Um… I assure you we'll make plenty of both…" the chef working the barbecue grill said nervously as the Gerudo King and Zora bodyguard were arguing with each other.
Some distance away Nabooru was laying back on a pool chair beside the zora queen. Next to her was Halei who was reading one of her many books.
"I gotta say, your new bodyguard is pretty bold, Ruto." Nabooru commented with a smirk, "Most people outside of Gerudo Valley are too intimidated by Link to even look him in the eye, yet he seems to have no qualms about playing and arguing with him."
"Kaidon has a good eye for people, and he felt Link was someone he could trust right away after meeting him." Ruto said, "It's one of the qualities that made me appoint him as my newest bodyguard."
"It is quite fascinating…" Halei commented, confusing both Nabooru and Ruto.
The mousy girl was staring at Link and Kaidon, she saw their muscular frames dripping with water, as they were engaged in a heated argument between each other. She could swear she felt a certain flowery aura around them.
"Hee hee… this is starting to remind me of some of my special novels…" Halei said with her glasses fogging up, as some blood trickled out from her nose, "I wonder if the argument will get so heated that they start wrestling with each other..."
"I think we need to throw Halei back into the pool and cool her off." Nabooru commented with a sweatdrop going down her head.
Meanwhile, Malon was watching everyone from a beach towel. Aviel was piling some meat onto her plate while Kesuta was trying to stop Korume from adding extra spicy hot sauce to the roast chicken. Reiruousa was asking the chefs if they had anymore hydromelon, but they pointed out that she had already taken the whole fruit already.
"Ms. Malon, don't you wish to join us?" Sarami asked stepping up, she sat down beside her.
"Ah, I don't think so." Malon shook her head, "I-I'm still working on losing weight."
"It'd be good for you, swimming is one of the most effective means of exercise." Sarami pointed out.
"W-Well…" Malon buried her face in her robe in embarrassment, and Sarami quickly caught on.
"...it's okay, you don't have to be shy about your figure Malon-sweetie," Sarami assured her with a smile, "You're around friends after all."
"Easy fer you to say." Malon muttered, looking at her body in the bikini, "You have such a sexy figure. Link can't keep his eyes off of you. As fer me, I still got a lot of my pregnancy weight… and my appetite that came with it."
"Fu-fu-fufufu…" giggled Sarami, "You keep saying you're not doing this for Link, but it seems like you really want his attention."
"Oooooh!" Malon squealed out in embarrassment, "Th-that's not true, I…!"
"Besides that, hasn't he been helping you with your 'milking' issues?" Sarami pointed out, reaching over and lifting up Malon's chest from behind, feeling the weight of them as they were wrapped under the robe, "I was hoping those sessions would help make you less modest around him."
"T-That's only because he doesn't look directly at my body when he does it!" Malon spoke as she tried to get Sarami's hands off her.
Sarami chuckled lightly, as she leaned towards Malon, her own breasts pressing against her arm, and whispered in a sensual voice as she gave both her mounds a gentle squeeze.
"But would you like if he did look at you, right…?"
Malon was tongue-tied at such a thought, she glanced over at Link arguing with Kaidon about the food, and gazed at his strong muscular frame, how it was tanned from the past years he spent in the desert, and how his beautiful bleach-blonde hair ran down his back.
"Um…" Malon buried her face back in her robe, "It doesn't mater anyway, I-I don't even have any sunscreen with me!"
"Fufufu, well you're in luck, it just so happens I brought some extra with me!" Sarami said cheerfully, opening her handbag and showing multiple bottles of lotion., "Just in case. I can't have anyone here being affected badly by UV rays, after all."
Malon face turned pale white at the sight
"Oh Link-honey!" Sarami called out waving a hand, "Malon could use a little help if you don't mind!"
"Me and my big mouth." Malon groaned.
"You sure about this Malon?" Link asked as he looked down at the ranch girl.
"Not really…" Malon muttered in a very small voice, "I mean… if you wouldn't mind? I don't wanna get sunburned or nothin' while swimming..."
"No problem." Link nodded, rubbing some lotion between his hands, "Now take off your robe."
The rancher gulped as she removed her robe and laid down on her stomach, and Link could now see she was wearing a two piece orange swimsuit under it.
"I can only see it from the back, but that looks cute on you Malon." Link commented.
'I wanted a more modest one -piece, I only got this cause nothin' else fits my…' Malon said in a muffled voice, as she was burying her face in her folded arms, "You know..."
"It's alright, let's begin." Link said, starting to rub lotion on her back.
"Eep!" Malon buried her face deeper in between her arms as Link's nimble hands moved around her. Having been so used to massaging his future brides, his fingers were expertly hitting all her sensitive points and making the situation even harder for her to endure.
Link's skilled hands moved up and down her sides, and while she did still have some slight chubby parts on her body, he didn't seem to mind at all. He rubbed down her upper back and getting at her shoulders.
"My, Ms. Malon seems to be enjoying that well." Zelda spoke from a distance as she was eating a little bit of broiled chicken at the picnic table.
"Yes, Link's become quite skilled with his hands," Nabooru chuckled as she was now eating some barbecued pork ribs, "In so many ways, if you catch my drift."
Zelda was more than a little embarrassed by Nabooru's suggestive words, and focused on her chicken.
Kaidon looked up from a plate of grilled fish to see Link rubbing down Malon, "Is that so? Perhaps I should ask King Link for a lotion massage as well?"
Suddenly, Halei was propelled across the yard by a sudden nose bleed from hearing Kaidon's words.
"Hey, you holding up okay Malon?" Link asked as Halei went flying by and splashing into the pool.
"Uuuuu…!" Malon squirmed a little as she laid on the blanket, "Fine! Just fine!"
While she was trying her hardest to hide it, Malon was in absolute bliss from the rubdown Link was giving her. She felt him beginning to rub down her thighs and gasped out, this was even better than when he was helping her with her breasts.
"Alright, want me to get your fete as well?" Link asked, putting more lotion on his hands.
"Y-Yes…" Malon admitted.
Link went ahead and started applying the lotion to her feet, making sure to get between her toes. The ticklish sensation was getting to Malon, and she began giggled a little from between her folded arms. Link had to try his best to control her legs as they started wiggling around.
"Hey, cut it out Malon!" Link said, before he was suddenly kicked across the face by Malon.
"Oh mah gosh, I'm sorry Link!" Malon exclaimed, sitting up and looking his face over, "Did I hurt you?"
"Uh, no big deal…" Link said, a little embarrassed at how close she was to him.
"Well, well, seems there's quite a party out here after all."
Link and Malon both looked up to see the voice belonged to Countess Roesia, a member of the Hylian Parliament, and head of the kingdom's public relations.
She was currently wearing a black bath robe that was wrapped tightly around her slim waist, while also hightailing her impressive hip and breast size. The robe was worn loose enough on the top that it gave her an impressive set of cleavage. She wore a large sunhat, as well as a pair of triangular sunglasses.
"Countess?" Link exclaimed.
"A pleasure to see you again King Link. And congratulations to both you and Lady Nabooru on the verdict from the other day." Roesia said smiling.
"Um, thank you?" Link said staring up at her, something Malon took note of.
"I do wish to apologize on behalf of the Parliament for what happened. Especially what happened with that horrible Jezebelle woman," Roesia said gazing upwards at the small clouds in the air, "I had a strange feeling there was something off about that woman, but to think she went that far..."
She leaned down and took Link by the chin, gazing at him closely. She took a hankerchief and wiped off a smudge Link got on his face from Malon kicking him.
"And especially to hurt a kind man like yourself…"
Link was surprised by Roesia's words, and the long stare in her emerald green eyes, he had a feeling there was something more to what she was saying, but he couldn't quite tell.
"Well I'll leave you to your lady friend there." Roesia said getting back up and turning away, "I have some reading to catch up on. Have a fun day, you two."
Link and Malon both stared as the countess went off to an unoccupied beach chair with an umbrella, and did a spin as she sat herself down on it, before pulling out a small book to read.
Malon glanced up and saw how Link was trying his best not to gawk directly at Roesia, and she sighed out lightly.
"Hey Link, if you wanna stop, I wouldn't mind…"
"No, no it's fine." Link assured her, "I need to make sure you're covered."
Malon smiled ever-so-lightly as Link continued applying lotion to her, making sure to fully get at the hard-to-reach places.
"Okay, I think that's everything from the back, should I work on the front next?" Link suggested.
The ranch girl laid there motionless, a mild blush formed on her cheeks, but she instead sat up.
"No, I'm good." Malon said, taking the sunscreen bottle as she avoided looking Link directly in the eye, "I can handle the front. T-thank you so much Link, you're a real peach."
Malon hurriedly got up and went off to apply the rest of the lotion, leaving Link sitting up on the towel.
"What I'm going to do about her…?" Link muttered to himself, rubbing the back of his neck.
As the day started go into the mid afternoon, everyone was back in the pool. Even Malon had summoned her courage and joined everyone. She was a little mortified about how her chest was floating on the surface when she finally stepped into the water, so she tried to focus on swimming.
"Kaepora!" shouted out Togau, treading water with her eyes closed.
"Geapora!" shouted a number of the other girls in the pool as they wire trying to keep their distance from her in the water.
"So how does this game go again?" Saria asked as she trying to swim backwards from Togau.
Ruto whispered, "Basically Togau is 'it' and trying to tag one of us. Every time she speaks 'Keapora' we have to reply 'Gaebora' so she has an idea of where we are. First person she tags loses." she shushed Saria as she pulled her away from Togua's grabby arms, "And don't speak so loudly dear, or else she'll hear you."
"Eep, sorry!" Saria squeaked, covering her mouth.
"Keapora!" Togau shouted again.
"Gaepora!" everyone called out in reply.
Togau started to get closer to Aviel, she quickly swam out of the way without making too much splashing noise. Togau lunged her hand out, only to hit the side of the pool.
"Gaah! You guys are too slippery!" Togau shouted in frustration, "Keapora!"
"Gaebora!"
Togua's ear twitched as she quickly lunged at what she thought was Nemisa, only to collide into Reirousa from behind.
"Huh? The hell are you guys yelling all that 'Galileo galileo figaro magnifico' for?" Reirousa asked looking over her shoulder.
"Wait a minute, you guys aren't cheatin' by trying to hide behind Reirousa, are ya?" Togau shouted around the area with her eyes still closed.
"Of course we're not!" Nemisa shouted, only to realize she gave away her position.
"Ha, gotcha!" Togau exclaimed as she lunged out at Nemisa, who quickly sidestepped away.
"And you're sure you aren't cheating with your Lynel hearing?" Nemisa shot back as Togau tried to tag her again.
"Reckin' course I ain't!" Togau protested, "Not mah fault you got that big mouth, and even bigger booty ta grab!"
"It's not that big!" Nemisa retorted, only to be forced to jump away again from another lunge by Togau, "And quit trying to make me shout!"
"But you're shouting anyway." everyone else thought sweatdropping.
Togau heard some splashing near the edge of pool, and she quickly turned and opened her eyes, seeing someone climbing out of the pool.
"Ha! Fish out of water!"
"Yes, of course I'm getting out from the water. What of it?" Zopem asked, walking off to get some food.
"Ah darn it." Togau grumbled as everyone else laughed.
"So, ready to be spun again Togau?' Ruto asked, as she and Nemisa placed their hands on Togau's shoulders with smug grins.
"Yes, it's time to start over." chuckled Nemisa.
"Wait, hold on a sec-!" Togau exclaimed, before Ruto sent her spinning around in circles.
In another spot of the pool, Link was watching Malon swimming. She was pretty clumsy in her movements, and kept grabbing at the edge of the pool to keep herself on the surface.
"Looks like she's having some trouble." Link said rubbing his chin, "Hey Malon, want me to help you out there?"
"Uh…" Malon quickly turned her body so that she was facing the pool's edge and clung to it, pressing her body against the wall to try her hardest to hide her figure from Link, "Not a problem! Just been a while since I've been swimmin'!"
"Hmm…" Link pondered. He looked around the pool and he had a wicked idea, he took a position right beside Malon, took a deep breath, and shouted out,
"GAEBORA!"
"Huh? What are you talkin' abou-?"
"AH HA! Gotcha!"
Toagu quickly lunged out and grabbed at Malon's shoulders from behind, causing her to yelp out in surprise.
"Woah, sorry bout that Mally!" laughed Togau after opening her eyes, "I didn't know you were playin' too!"
"I wasn't!" Malon shouted. She looked over at Link who was laughing hysterically, "Why you sidewindin' little creep, I outta-!"
She was so frustrated with Link though that she didn't realize right away that she let go of the ledge, and she started to sink in the water, she scrambled around for a second before Link grabbed both her hands, and helped her stay up on the surface.
"It's okay, I got you." Link sported a goofy grin.
"Link…" Malon whispered with a light blush at Link looking right at her figure.
Malon was wearing the orange frilly swimsuit quite well, her large breasts were secured in the cups and showing off their fullness. She had good strong arms from her years of working at the ranch. While there was some notable pudginess in her stomach area, it only made her curves more notable. Her hips were fittingly wide with the bottom of the suit keeping the important parts covered, while still showing off the fullness of her rear and thighs.
"Come on, let me help you." Link assured Malon, squeezing her hands firmly, as he started to lead her in swimming.
"O-Okay…" Malon spoke softly, as Link continued to gaze directly at her.
"Good luck Mally!" Togau whispered with glee, as she went back to the game, "Keapora!"
Link slowly led Malon around the water, instructing her on the amount of kicking she needed to do to keep herself afloat. He was looking right into her bright blue eyes, as she gazed into his own. With the compassionate tone to his voice, the way he griped at her hands, Malon was finding it impossible to want to let go, or even look away.
Sarami watched as Link pulled Malon around with a blissful smile on her lips, happy to see Malon was finally letting Link look at her.
"Wow, they seem quite close." Zelda whispered as she was working with Darius to swim.
"They are childhood friends after all." chuckled Darius, "Even though their lives had gone in different directions, fate seems to have brought hem back together."
"Yes… you're right." Zelda smiled blissfully.
Countess Roesia herself meanwhile was sitting back on her chair and reading her book, she took a moment to gaze up at the pool only to see Link leading Malon along in the water. The older woman stared at the two, and for a brief second she recalled a younger version of herself swimming alongside an older man, before she snapped out of it and went back to her book.
Link soon led Malon to the deep end of the pool, and it was clear she was doing much better at keeping herself afloat. The ranch girl could only just stare into Link's eyes, as he did the same for her...
But Link kept going a little too far and accidentally bonked his head on the side of the pool. He was so startled he accidentally yanked Malon towards him.
"Ack! Link?!"
"Oop, sorry Malon, I-!"
But Link quickly realized Malon was now pressed directly against each other. Link's strong arms were wrapped around her midsection, and the ranch girl's large breasts were now squishing against Link's broad muscular chest. The two were stuck motionless as they stared with their faces mere inches away from each other.
"Oooh my!" Sarami cooed from a distance with sparkling eyes.
"Link… I…" Malon whispered softly, the two staring into each other's eyes.
But then they both saw something orange was floating by them, it took a second for them to realize it was Malon's swimsuit top, and she was actually topless at that moment.
"Kyyyyyaaaaaa!" screamed out Malon as she hugged Link tightly around his neck to make sure her chest wasn't exposed to everyone, "Don't look! Nobody look!"
"Malon, you're strangling me!" gagged Link, "Let me get your top!"
"Noooooooooo!" screamed Malon, burying her face in his shoulder.
"Hey, no skinny dipping!" Zopem shouted to the rancher.
Sometime after that, the day was finally over. They dried off and gathered their things so go back inside the palace for the night.
"I trust you all enjoyed yourselves today?" Zelda asked as they were heading up the stairs to go back inside.
"It was so much fun! Thank you Princess!" Aviel squealed, hugging Zelda with her towel.
"Aviel, cut it out. You're getting way too close to her majesty." Nemisa sighed.
"It was certainly much fun!" laughed Darius, whose face, arms and legs was now all as red as a tomato from being sunburned, "I'll be peeling for weeks!"
"How did that even happen Darius, I thought you used sunscreen." Link commented.
"I did! Several bottles full!" Darius said doing a majestic poise, only to flinch from the sunburn, "Ugh… I think I need a cool bath…"
"I better go help him." Zelda giggled lightly, following after him.
"Have a good night, Princess." Link nodded..
"Ah, it was a fine day! It quite nice to unwind after all that's transpired." Kaidon said stepping up to Link's side,
"Tell me about it." Link nodded, "And that food was great stuff!"
"Indeed!" laughed Kaidon, "You were right about the beef, it was a fine cut!"
The zora then looked around curiously, "I only wish Hemeron's sister didn't have to leave so soon! I was hoping to chat with her afterwards!"
"You don't have a thing for her do you…?" Link asked raising an eyebrow.
"I-I'm not so sure about that exactly!" Kaidon said defensively, "I mean she's a friendly and alluring woman and all, b-but…!"
Link looked over at Hemeron, who was now back in the form of a male zora. He was busy trying to do over exaggerated body poses while Zopem was dragging him off.
"You sure about that?" Link asked, unsure if he wanted to tell Kaidon the truth about Heremon.
"Well to be honest, when I see her, it reminds me of my dear sister out in town." Kaidon spoke.
'Oh right, the Nurse Meifa girl in town is Kaidon's sister.' Link recalled in thought.
"It's been so long since I've seen Meifa. I worry about her at times." Kaidon frowned, "Especially with all that's transpired here."
"I see…" Link spoke, he thought to himself, 'I wonder if there's something I could for him…?'
"H-Hey Link?" Malon spoke up, grabbing at the young king's towel to get his attention, with her other hand clutching tightly at her bathrobe to keep it secure.
"Oh hey Malon, what's up?" Link asked.
"Looks like you have a matter to attend to King Link, I'll go ahead and leave the two of you to talk!" Kaidon said, proudly flexing his arm and sporting a pearly white smile.
"Thanks." Link nodded, as Kaidon went off on his way.
"You've certainly made a lot of good friends in high places Link." Malon spoke, "It's still crazy to see the life you live now."
"Tel me about it." Link chuckled, "So what did you want?"
"Listen I… just wanted to say sorry fer bein' such a pain in the neck today," Malon said, "And… thanks for being so understandin' with me."
Link smiled softly, patting her on the shoulder, "Hey it's okay Malon. I'm just glad to see you enjoying yourself."
Malon smiled lightly as she leaned up and gave Link a gentle kiss on the cheek. Some of the others all saw it, but didn't say anything to avoid wrecking the moment.
"Malon…?" Link whispered softly.
"No matter how bad things get for me, you've always been there Link… thank you." Malon whispered, as she went on ahead to catch up with Togau.
Link took a look at her figure wrapped up in the bathrobe, finding himself thinking back to how sexy she looked in that swimsuit, how nice it was when she was swimming with him, and that tantalizing feeling of her bare chest pressed against him in the water…
The young king couldn't deny it any longer, Malon had become a very special part of his life, far more than he could have thought before. She had grown up beautifully, and become a truly loving mother to Meli. He knew now he had to win her heart, no matter what happened with the banishment law, he would do anything he could to make her happy.
'Ees, I think I got it bad for her…' the young king thought to himself, rubbing the back of his neck, 'I might need to go jump back in the pool and cool myself off again…'
Link soon went walking into the castle to change into his nightly attire and retreat to his living quarters for the remainder of the night. He contemplated maybe calling one of the other girls for a night in bed to help him relieve this pent-up libido he had.
"Excuse me, Gerudo King?" spoke up another voice,
Link turned to see it was Countess Roesia strolling into the castle and walking up to him. Despite being outside most of the afternoon, she seemed to lack any redness from the sun, "I was wondering if I could have a word with you?"
"Oh sure, what's up?" Link asked, doing his best to get Malon off his mind for the moment.
"Listen, I still have some matters to attend to with the Parliament right now, but if you're available later tonight…" she reached into hand bag and pulled out a small business card, handing ti to him, "I'd like to give you a special invitation."
Link looked down at the platinum colored card with bold black cursive writing on it, including an address on the back, for some place called 'The Silver Pegasus'
"What's this?" Link asked.
"It's a little nightclub in the high class area of town, I go there to sing once in a while, and I thought you could come to watch…" Roesia suggested, she pulled down her sunglasses to gaze at him, "...and perhaps we could possibly have a small chat afterwards?"
Link was a little surprised at the countess' suggestion. As he thought about it though, in the back of his mind he suddenly thought about Duchess Jezebelle. He wasn't sure why, maybe it was his instincts trying to tell him something…?
"Um, okay. I'll keep it mind." Link nodded, pocketing the card, "Thank you Countess."
"That's good to hear," Roesia chuckled, running her hand along his face for a moment before going off on her way, She looked over her shoulder at him,
"Don't keep me waiting, handsome."
Link stood silently, as he looked back down at the card, before going off to his room to change.
And that ends this week's chapter. Next time, Link decides to meet with Countess Roesia, but could something good come from it, or maybe something more dangerous...? Find out next time!
So this was just a fun little chapter with some fanservice to break from all the drama that was going on. Hope you enjoyed it!
