Once a month, Adrien and Ladybug ordered their Kwamis some new toys or some new clothes in Tikki's case, and Adrien had just flopped down on the couch, magazine in hand. "Okay, Plagg! Time to tell me what you choose!"
Out of the corner of her eye, Ladybug, sitting at Adrien's computer desk saw something lowering from the corner of her eye. Leaping up, she sprinted over to the couch, where a black spider was lowering itself to Adrien's head! Yuk!
"Did something just brush my hair?" Adrien froze, then cautiously moved to touch his head. "Don't move," Ladybug hissed. "There's a spider on your head."
Okay, breathe, don't freak out and scream like a girl, Adrien chanted. "Just don't move or panic and everything will be okay," Ladybug whispered, catching the spider in her yo-yo. "I'll be back in a minute," she reported, and Adrien leaped up. "Wait! Your not going to kill it, are you?"
Sure, it was better if he didn't see, but the spider was only doing its thing. Ladybug smiled. "No, I'm going to release it into the garden. I just hope there are no ladybugs around," she shuddered. "Tell you what," Adrien told her, "when you get back we'll take the Kwamis for a milk and cookie break, for I nearly lost one of my nine lives when that thing landed on my head."
Ladybug smiled. "Sounds like a plan."
