"You… you BASTARD!"
"Jaune, wait!" Nora exclaimed as Jaune swung his sword with a vicious war cry…
…Until Eggman caught the blade of his sword with only one hand.
"Hmmm…" Kyoko mused, rubbing her chin as she examined the hand. Nothing really seemed to catch her eye right away.
"Wh-what…?!"
"Your precious friends, those Pokemon Trainers, the huntsmen, and not even your little girlfriend couldn't stop me." Eggman gloated as he leaned closer to Jaune's face. "What could possibly… make you think YOU can?"
He gripped Crocea Mors tightly before he rammed the hilt of the sword into Jaune's gut before throwing an uppercut into his chin to knock him on his back.
Kyoko immediately locked on to something metal attached to his wrist as his sleeve flapped a bit. "Oh…?"
"But please… go on then-"
He tossed the sword to Jaune slowly stood up, gasping for air.
"TRY to take her back. She will not lose… like everyone expects her to."
With a smirk, Eggman threw down a flashbang, blinding everyone… and once the light faded, Kyoko found herself alone with the Metroids.
"Interesting…" She mused as she glanced over at an Egg Memo nearby, which she promptly picked up.
"So I had made an exoskeleton that was fit for hand to hand combat. I hadn't fully tested it before the invasion, but I figured I'd put it to good use. I was pleasantly surprised when I successfully used it on the general himself. Of course, as someone who's been watching his hand to hand prowess, it was easy to figure him out… yet even I was surprised that it worked.
I had decided to upgrade it while I was busy watching the Atlesians turn on the Schnees. I installed metal hands that would be hidden in my gloves. After that, I decided to do some tests by catching objects effectively. I then resorted to sharper objects, putting up barriers on the rest of my body in case of… accidents.
It was put through the ultimate test when I caught Jaune's sword with my hand effectively-"
"I knew it…"
"-And was able to push it back into him. The exoskeleton is a success! I think I'll be able to use it from now on when I'm not inside of the Eggmobile. Might give Sonic a run for his money… bah, who am I kidding? He'd still trip me up… though I'm still curious how I managed to outrun him in the Death Egg that one time…
Regardless, this has provided enough data for me to effectively use hand to hand. Is it cheating? Perhaps. But is it a scientific success? I'd say so.
Let's just hope Pyrrha doesn't learn about this… which, I have to say, I feel a bit sorry for the young lady. She's known as the invincible girl back home and was put into an unfair spotlight, giving her no time just to be herself. I tried out that Pumpkin Pete cereal just to see what all the fuss was. It was like I was eating milky cardboard… and they decided to put Pyrrha as their sponsor? Poor girl didn't stand a chance. Probably didn't do so well for her mental state…
And yet, here I am, having brainwashed the girl. She's going to need a lot of therapy, for everyone expects the best out of her.
Wonder if she ever wants to retire early from her "Amazonian huntress" title. I certainly wouldn't blame her… especially after I brainwashed her and she blew up her home town. She needs a break… and a lot of hugs, though I doubt she'd ever want one from me…"
"An exoskeleton… that explains a few things." Kyoko mused. "Alright, let's keep going."
Meanwhile…
"Rrrgh…" Ruby growled as she paced around where Weiss was sitting down on a rock, looking down on the ground awkwardly.
Blake, Yang, Mine, Meryl, Winter, Oran, and SSP were awkwardly leaning against rocks, unsure of what to say as the tension was thick. Everyone else had decided to give them space though Gonta, Byleth and Dorothea were close by.
"...Ruby… I-"
"Don't!" Ruby snapped, causing Weiss to flinch. "Just… don't." She took a deep breath and exhaled sharply. "What… is the matter with you? I totally get you wanted to go to ancient Hyrule in my stead because I wasn't… fully mentally there and I get that… BUT WHY… why in the name of OUM would you think it would be a good idea to ask the universe to beat you up instead? That's just asking for trouble!"
"You were having a hard time! After Dark Ruby left, you think it'd be the end of it, but then you run away with Shantae-"
"Don't bring Shantae into this! I'm not going to allow her being thrown under the bus."
"You… go on a vacation and you get your soul nearly taken by the Devil, and on top of that, you get confronted by an angry Dialga in Hisui, and… the cherry on top? You get dragged into another universe to deal with another Ruby's affairs!"
"Yes, I kept getting thrown into the mud… but that all changed when you decided to ask the universe to take the brunt of it instead! Like, seriously, WHY would you do that? As I said, it's just asking for punishment!"
"What, did you want the universe to keep beating you up?"
"NO! Of course I don't! I mean, it's nice to have a break but it's like… you… I just can't believe you. Why would you even do this? Like, yeah, I get the reason why, it's sort of honorable that you wanted to take the brunt of it and I should be touched but at the same time… it's… it's…"
Ruby shook with anger.
"AAAARRRRRGGHHH! WHY WOULD YOU ASK FOR SOMETHING SO STUPID?!"
Weiss flinched at Ruby yelling at her.
"I didn't think she'd be taking it this hard…" Blake whispered.
Ruby sighed. "Weiss… you're the smartest one on our team. The smartest in WARCY… and the smartest in WSSP, but it's like… this would be something I'd do. I wouldn't mean it, but the sympathy would be there! But look what happened after you said said: You get Fierce Deity taken away from you, you get it back after taking out this Demise guy, then your old home falls and things aren't going in your favor, then Adam comes over and kidnaps Azure, then he flat out tortures you in the process, and now here we are with you literally killing yourself trying to get to Eggman! And look what's happening to you, you're almost in digital limbo if not WORSE."
"I just wanted my fair share of it when you, Blake and Yang got the short end of the sticks! Yang with K. Rool, Blake with the X-Parasites and you with everything else!" Weiss defended, though her voice was breaking.
"Yang losing her aura was just a minor thing in the grand scheme of things!"
"Didn't feel minor at the time…" Yang mumbled. "Not to mention he sent me-"
"NOT NOW, YANG!" Ruby yelled back, having overheard.
BGM: Until the End (RWBY)
Yang winced. "Right…"
"There are some things that are just out of our control! I'm pretty sure Atlas falling would have happened anyway with how long Eggman planned it, but thanks to you asking the universe to kick your butt, Atlas falling became a personal attack on you… and Adam kidnapping Azure too!"
"I'm… aware…"
"And honestly? Don't get me started on what you did to Luminary! I never seen him so upset after he came back…"
Weiss closed her eyes, feeling tears swelling in her eyes.
"Ruby, I-"
"Don't "Ruby" me, you dolt! What you did was more reckless than what I did by running away to Galar! What If you snapped after finding Eggman? What if you ran away and we'd never find you? You'd probably be in Galar or… heck, Paldea! And I've heard from Victor that Paldea's easier to get lost in THAN GALAR! What If we never found you again after once this is over? We're all worried about you!"
Weiss stood up a little mad, looking Ruby straight in the eye. "I don't get why you're so upset over this. I did this because I care about-"
"WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I WANT YOU TO CARRY MY BURDEN ON YOUR OWN!" Ruby practically screamed.
Weiss's eyes widened. More tears formed in her eyes. It had just hit her that… by wanting to take Ruby's pain away, she unintentionally hurt her.
"I get constantly tormented by my evil clone, thought I lost my sister, felt pain that my paper self is feeling, got infected by the Phazon, and that was before ending Dark Ruby which led me to have my soul targeted by the Devil, wasting my time in the past to stop some idiot that Arceus didn't need help with when I could have easily used that time with my mom before she left which I'm still mad at Arceus over! AND I get dragged to stop myself from another universe that probably didn't even need me! I practically went through hell ever since we first came to the Mushroom Kingdom, both figuratively and literally. And what do I get in return?" Ruby asked before raising her arm.
Her plant arm.
"This. This and an elephant hip that nearly killed me." Ruby answered her own question as she herself began to break down. "I know I got some closure from mom in a different universe, but it doesn't feel like how it would have been if it were with her in this one. And there was someone I ran into a while ago. He lost his family to the Phazon, and any mention of it reminded him of what he lost. He didn't know that I have Phazon within me, he still doesn't know, but do you know what he said?"
Flashback
"Anyone with the Phazon is no different than those monsters who caused it all."
Present
"That's when I realized why Samus was so angry with me. I was being selfish with keeping the power that I became a reminder to those on what they dealt with. What they lost…"
Ruby paused for a moment to see Weiss having fallen on her knees and sobbing silently.
"I don't want anyone to go through what I did and get nothing in return; not Mario, not Sonic, not Ozpin, not my worst enemies, and especially my friends and family. So please…" Ruby knelt down to embrace Weiss as they sobbed together, their foreheads resting on one another. "Please don't go through this alone like I did…"
"Well, she-"
Caliburn gave Sonic a stern look.
"Right, sorry."
"Ruby… I'm… I'm so sorry…" Weiss sobbed.
"It's okay… I… I know what you were trying to do…" Ruby sniffled. "Please… just don't do it alone… we're a team after all…"
At that moment, Yang, Blake, Meryl, Winter and SSP went over to hug Weiss, the former three doing the best they could given their circumstances. Mine even joined in as well, then Yang and Blake hugged Ruby as Oran hopped in to hug her as well.
Ruby wiped the tears from her eyes as she turned around to hug Gonta, Byleth and Dorothea the best she could, all of them smiling.
"If I may…" Caliburn hopped off of Sonic's back and hopped over to Weiss. "I may not have known half of what is going on, but I did get the general idea. From what Lady Ruby has said-"
"Lady?" Ruby quietly mouthed.
"-It seems to me that you were trying to help ease her burdens by wanting to share some of it so she would not be "a punching bag", as Sir Sonic would say."
Weiss nodded.
"While that's noble, I do not think Lady Ruby would want anyone else to suffer like she has. I can tell she has grown from the suffering, but it has taken a heavy toll on her at some point. I may not know what "Phazon" is, but I can tell it sounds horrific. What I would suggest is that your whole team shares the burden together… now, I'm in no place to give suggestions to you as this is none of my business, but I thought I would give out some advice."
Weiss softly sighed. "Yeah, I get it… thanks…"
"You are welcome, Lady Weiss."
Ruby extended her hand toward Weiss. "Come on, there's no need to be moping on the ground. I'll help fight your demons with you."
Grateful tears swelled in her eyes as she gave a soft smile. "Thank you…" Weiss grabbed her hand, though her hand went through her.
"Oh… right." Ruby chuckled a bit as Weiss stood up anyway, both of them "hugging" right after.
"Hey!" Nagisa called out over to them. "If you guys are done over there, Futaba and Tails had found something of worth!" He said and then looked into his scroll. "Okay, fire a beacon!"
At that moment, an ice laser shot up into the sky, signaling to the others.
"Alright, let's go." Blake said as they all walked off together toward the ice laser.
"You were planning to get rid of the Phazon?" Byleth asked once Ruby walked with her.
"Yeah, I was even planning to have Yukari remove it… but she wasn't available for some reason. I tried again but still no Yukari… then Eggman happened, and by the time the dust settled, Adam kidnapped Azure… and then by the time that settled, I was going to go deal with it but, surprisingly, still no Yukari!"
Ruby let out a soft sigh. "I swear, the moment I try to get this Phazon out of me, the one person available isn't around… though, luckily, I haven't used it for a long time."
"Perhaps you could ask when Yukari is available? I'm sure she's a very busy woman." Dorothea suggested.
"Honestly, probably for the best." Ruby nodded. "...Now watch as I end up getting her scheduled for next year." She rolled her eyes as the sisters giggled while Gonta chuckled, shrugging with his little bro.
"You going to be okay?" Winter asked.
"I… feel as if my shoulders got way lighter after that." Weiss admitted. "Although… I still don't know what my answer could be to all this. Gods, why did I snap at Luminary like that…"
"Yeah, Winter and I were meaning to talk to you about that, but I guess Ruby beat us to it."
Weiss groaned. "I didn't mean to push him away… ugh, I need to set things right when this is over…"
She started coughing, loud enough for everyone to hear and causing them to get worried.
"I don't know how much time I have left though…"
"I just hope we have enough time to cure this." Winter said.
"Mama…" Manaphy frowned, feeling really worried over his mother.

They followed the ice beam until they found a small ice bridge toward a floating monument. As they crossed the bridge, they saw Tails, Jade, Futaba and Peppy examining a monument.
BGM: Beyond the Past (Sonic Frontiers)
"What's this, a portal that Futaba forgot to hack?" Sonic asked.
"Actually, this is different." Futaba responded.
"I think it's an environmental analyzer. All of the ancient technology is networked to Cyber Space." Tails said. "If we can get it back online, maybe we can get some answers."
Suddenly, the ground started to rumble, causing everyone to stumble as the monument started to glow brightly before activating cyberspace, showing everyone laser cannons aimed toward the sky and firing lasers into the sky… only to see giant lasers rain down on them and destroying the land around them, forcing everyone to shield their eyes while Oran ducked into his shell as Gonta tried to shield him.
Once the dust settled, everyone was back to normal.
"Wh-what the hell was that?!" Kotoko wondered.
"Nothing good…" Ratchet responded as Ruby immediately went to check on Oran.
"Oran. It okay. It gone!" Gonta said as Oran peeked out before sighing in relief and getting up… and then hugged Ruby, burying his face in her stomach.
"There there…" Ruby whispered.
"Hmm… whatever assaulted the island sure packed a punch. This was on par with Dark Gaia, easy." Tails said.
"Who?" Caliburn wondered.
"Someone you don't want to meet… though thankfully, it's no longer an issue." Sonic responded.
"I had something similar happen on my island." Amy responded.
"Same on mine." Knuckles chimed in.
"I feel like we need to find the Emeralds ASAP." Sonic said.
"Agreed." Tails nodded. "Let's split up and find those Emeralds."

BGM: Chaos Island - Second Mvt (Sonic Frontiers)
With a nod, everyone took off running… though Weiss had to hop on Azure just to keep herself stable.
At one point, Futaba threw up another beam to catch everyone's attention as they all rendezvoused over to the spot, which said spot was none other than a massive decommissioned Death Egg Robot.
"Why do I feel like he would have used this on us during his invasion?" Shadow asked.
"Yeah, sounds like something he'd do." Silver agreed.
"Hmmm…" Dipper walked around to get a good look at it, when he accidentally stepped onto a plate which caused a laser to activate and fired directly into Sonic.
"Ooof!" Sonic grunted… and then was suddenly turned into a blue fish.
"What the heck?!" Ruby said in surprise. "Sonic! Sonic! Speak to me little buddy!"
Futaba quickly created an orb of water to put Sonic into it. "There we go… he's good!"
"It turned him into a fish… why did it turn him into a fish?!" Amy wondered.
"Why am I suddenly craving sushi?" Blake wondered, earning a smack upside the head from Amy's hammer. "OW!"
"You are NOT eating him!"
"Hang on, step on it again." Nagisa said as Dipper did so, turning Sonic back to normal.
"Mmmph!" Sonic jumped out of the water orb. "Hah… I am so forgoing sushi after that." He said, also giving Blake a glare.
"How about caviar?" Caliburn suggested, as Sonic gave him a deadpanned look. "No? Fair enough."
"I wonder if this giant mech is still operational…" Tails said.
"Well, considering it has a feature that turns hedgehogs into fish, I'd say it still is." Falco said.
Futaba wandered around, making sure not to step on anything that would turn Sonic into anything else. "Ah! There it is!" She said, pointing toward a computer.
"Hmmm…" Penny looked into it. "Ah, so if we successfully hack into this, we can use the Death Egg Robot to our benefit. Sweet~!" She smiled as she started playing around with it.
"Well, we might as well get comfy… we'll be here a while." Ratchet said.
"And perhaps we should not step or sit on anything that might cause Sonic to… transform." Clank said.
Why do I feel like this is going to hang over my head for a while? Dipper wondered with a sweatdrop.
Pause BGM
While they were waiting, Weiss thought about what had happened back in the Monster Hunter world, sighing to herself while also shuddering at Adam tormenting her and turning her into a trophy.
She shook the thoughts out of her head as she then saw Oran chatting with Kotoko and Gonta, his back turned to her as she saw "SDC" on his shell. She winced just looking at it, recalling what happened to both Adam and Seryu… and possibly countless other Faunus who got branded.
She even recalled how Adam had it out for her despite her nothing to do with what her so-called father had done, and even Seryu when she was insane. Sure, Seryu had forgiven her but Adam went out of his way to make her life hell because her father wasn't around.
"Hey Oran, can you come here for a sec?" Weiss asked.
"Hmm?" Oran turned his head in confusion before he turned around and approached Weiss. "What's wrong?"
"Why don't you hate me?"
"What?"
"It's just… that you should be angry with me but you're not."
"Is this about… you know what?"
"Well that, and… it's been on my mind ever since we took out Adam. But… I just want to know why?"
"Because you're not responsible for what happened, you didn't put that mark on my shell, you didn't leave me to die, and you didn't destroy my village. You did none of that. And… I could feel that when I first joined you guys, I could tell that you were a good person and even learning more about it, I can't bring myself to be mad at you. That… and just like with Yang and Ruby, I look up to you."
BGM: Luma (Super Mario Galaxy)
Weiss wiped away some tears that were forming. "If I could hug you, I would… wait… why did you want to come with us?"
"Because I was worried about you. I heard how everything was getting to you and I just wanted to help you… that, and I want to make up for nearly getting us all killed."
"Hey… come on, that wasn't your fault."
"I know it wasn't, and mom told me as much the night when she came back… I still wanted to make up for it though."
Weiss smiled. "You're a good kid, you know that?"
Oran gave her a bright beaming smile. "Yeah." He chuckled.

Resume Chaos Island - Second Mvt BGM
At that moment, they heard the sound of the Death Egg Robot charging up and firing its laser into the ground, creating a huge crater in the process.
"I did it~!" Penny giggled. "That hacking was a bit of a weird one, but I got it down!"
"How weird was it?" Meryl asked.
"Something about changing the color of my ship so I could absorb different colored bullet things."
"Huh, that's a unique concept…" Byleth said.
Worked for Ikaruga. Futaba thought with a chuckle.
"Alright! Let's go into the crater and-" Ruby shifted her eyes, sensing someone approach as she turned her head. "Oh, hi… can we help ya?"
"Hmm?" Weiss turned her head, seeing it was the Elder Koco. "Oh… I think he thinks he's come for me."
"Is he an enemy Koco?" Ruby asked.
"No… he's the guy who's trying to help me fight my demons."
"Oh! Well, in that case… let's go confront your demons." Ruby smiled, extending her rose hand.
"Yeah…" Weiss nodded as she got up.
"Let's go!" Sonic said.
"Ready to go~!" Penny smiled.
"I got nothing better to do anyway." Mine said.
Dorothea looked to her wife. "Ready?"
"Ready!" Byleth nodded.
"Gonta come too." Gonta said.
Oran smiled. "Let's go!"
With a nod, SSP, RBY, Meryl, Winter, Mine, and Ruby's family set off with Weiss.
"Race you to the end of the crater?" Silver offered.
Shadow gave an amused "hmph". "Just try to keep up."
"With pleasure."
The two hedgehogs ran off.

The Elder Koco, with the help of the ice bridges, made his way toward the spot on top of a small mountain as a dark portal awaited them.
Weiss stared at the dark portal, visibly gulping.
Sonic patted her on the back. "You got this."
"Y-Yeah…" Weiss nodded as they went inside, finding themselves at the Crown Tundra.
"The Crown Tundra… been a while." Blake said.
"Right." Weiss nodded.
Sonic whistled. "This is where you met Calyrex? Not a bad place to chill, if I'm being honest."
"And also the place where she perishes." A voice said as they turned to see Adam approaching, his mask off.
"Is that Adam?" Sonic wondered.
"Unfortunately." Weiss nodded.
"Yeesh, if looks could kill…"
"Daughter." A voice said as Weiss turned her head to see Jacques. "You still disappoint me."
A deep throaty growl escaped Winter's lips while Meryl glared at him.
"Ah… Winter. And the goth."
"Jacques." Winter folded her arms.
"You'd call me by my name?"
"I'm following Whitley's example… calling you "father" is an insult to all of us."
Jacques sneered. "I brought the Schnee name up… and you all are dragging it through the mud. And it all started with her." He glared at Weiss.
"I find this highly ironic that Jacques and Adam are willing to work together." Yang said.
"We have something in common. We both hate Weiss. So we settled our differences." Adam responded.
"Of course you did…" Blake rolled her eyes.
Mine set her sights on Adam, aiming Pumpkin at him. "I'm still mad at you for turning me into a trophy!"
Adam said nothing, but he gave Mine a sinister smirk.
"I say it's time we put this stain into the ground." Jacques said, where a blizzard formed around them.
When the blizzard settled, he was wearing Armas Gigas armor colored white with a black aura. His face resembled a demonic demon with no eyes. The armor had black spikes on the arms and legs. His ice demon sword was a version of Khione as there was a shield with a wolf's face.
"We got this." Ruby said. "...I hope."
"We do!" Oran nodded as Gonta pulled out his hammer.
BGM: Lionize (RWBY)
Pompous and the Beast - Data Arma Gigas Jacques and Adam
Adam pulled out his sword and lunged straight for Weiss, quickly slashing at her but she immediately blocked and parried him, proceeding to stab him a few times with Myrtenaster before summoning her Orbitars and blasting him in the face with ice lasers.
Adam took a step back, blocking the lasers with his sword and with a smirk, he activated his semblance and then swung at Weiss.
CLANG!
However, Sonic stepped in and blocked with Caliburn, using Soul Surge to counter him as he then sweep kicked Adam away.
Jacques swung his sword into Winter, where she blocked with both rapiers as she stabbed the ground with one sword, summoning an ice Valstrax as it divebombed into Jacques, sending him away while Blake swooped in, slashing him with the Belladonna claws, only for Jacques to parry her.
"Explode." Jacques said to the Valstrax, which it exploded in an icy explosion. "Volcano."
Immediately, a volcano rose up from the snow, which it erupted and sent lava rocks flying down.
"Where'd the volcano come from?!" Yang wondered, punching away a few rocks as Byleth shot down a few with her Failnaught.
"Big man use words to change layout of battlefield!" Gonta said, swinging his hammer to send a lava rock away.
Jacques pointed to Weiss. "Failure."
Weiss automatically went on her knees. "Nnngh… what…?!" She wondered as Adam slashed away Ruby as he swung down at Weiss, but Meryl jumped in and slashed him away with pink fire.
"Weiss, stand up!"
"Nnngh… I can't…! Something's… holding me down!"
Penny gasped. "It's not just the battlefield changing, he's using his words to force people to do his bidding!"
"Yeah, that sounds about right!" Mine said, shooting directly at Jacques.
"If you want to make me proud… you will kill your cat friend!" Jacques ordered as Weiss stood up, her eyes in a trance as she pulled out Eiskonigen and moved toward Blake.
"Weiss…?! Weiss, SNAP OUT OF IT!" Blake yelled, dodging a swing from the sword.
"I'm sorry…! I can't… control…!"
Adam chuckled. "This will be easy." He said, running up toward Weiss to impale her but a wall of flames blocked him from doing so as he glared at Dorothea who made it, and then Yang went in and slugged him in the face to send him sliding several feet.
"Blizzard." Jacques said as a raging blizzard formed and blinded everyone, right as Sonic spin dashed into Jacques and slashed him away. "Mmmph!" He grunted. "Paladins!" He ordered as several Paladins rose up.
"Great…" Sonic grimaced.
Yang immediately went into her Shin form as she launched herself and draconically punched through the Paladins to knock them down.
Penny flew directly toward Jacques, electrically punching him square in the face. "Argh!" Jacques grunted, which was enough for the trance in Weiss's eyes to disappear.
"Nnngh…" Weiss winced, clutching her head. "Blake, I'm sorry…"
"Don't worry about it." Blake's ears twitched as she grabbed Weiss' arm and twirled her around to avoid her getting stabbed by Adam, then they both slashed at him to get him away as SAPR used her Drill Wispon to drill into him.
Adam got in a stance, glaring at Sonic as he used his semblance once more and unleashed it at Sonic, but the blue blur was already behind him, axe kicking him in the head.
"You coward!"
"Me? I'm not the one who poisoned a girl when she was imprisoned!"
Adam swung again, but Sonic was already behind him, back slicing him to make Adam stumble a bit, then Mine nailed him in the shoulder.
The blizzard stopped by Jacques' command as he stared at Weiss. "Kill the red hea-"
Immediately, an explosive arrow struck him in the chest before Oran ran up and punched Jacques in the face to knock him down. "Mmmph!"
Pause BGM
Oran then shoved his boot into his head, forcing his face into the ground.
"You filthy animal… you dare touch me!" Jacques growled.
"Filthy animal?" Oran scoffed. "Really now! Which one of us is eating dirt right now? It's you, you worm. It's a shame I can't say this to the real you, so you'll have to do. You're just a pathetic old man who's never going to hurt another faunus again."
"You think you're above me! You were born to serve man! You aren't even human!"
Adam realized what was going on, glaring at Oran as he parried Mine and Sonic, then started to run.
"Big words from-" He took notice of Adam charging, ready to slice him.
"HAAAAAH!" Adam yelled.
"Oh fiddlesticks!" Oran yelped as he jumped back in time. Ruby felt a wave if anger toward Adam, as her family felt the same way.
Oran breathed a sigh of relief when he didn't feel any wounds on him. "Hey, excuse me, Adam, was it?"
"What do you want, you traitorous brat?"
"Okay, first off, how can I be traitorous if I never worked for you? Second off, I'm just wondering, why did you save him when he's your enemy? Did you get so consumed by everything that you forgot what you were supposed to be doing?"
"Why are you working with the Schnee?"
"Cause she's a good person… and you're just an idiot!"
Adam angrily sliced at Oran, but Ruby shot him away. "What…? Sis, I had that!"
"Did you though? Now come on, let's help her fight her demons!"
"Right!"

"Firestorm."
At that moment, the volcano erupted again, causing massive fireballs to rain down. Weiss and Winter quickly put up glyphs to protect everyone while Meryl jumped into the air and grabbed a fireball, throwing it down on top of Adam.
Adam swiftly slashed through the fireball, only for to see Meryl flying down and slashing him with her Halberd, then she pulled the trigger as some pink fireballs were shot out and pelted Adam in the face, then she jumped up, grabbed the biggest fireball she could find from the volcano, turned it pink and threw it down.
Adam growled, readying his sword and slashing it, only the explosion was enough to knock him down and sent his sword flying.
Jacques was quick to notice this and pointed his finger toward Meryl. "Broken ankle."
Meryl ran toward Adam's sword, only to fall in excruciating pain. "AAAGH!" She cried, causing her sister's eyes to widen in horror. In fact, everyone else had a similar reaction.
Jacques pointed to Weiss and Winter. "No aura."
"Nnngh!" Weiss winced, feeling her aura shatter as Winter let out an annoyed growl.
"Ava-"
He was quickly silenced when Sonic boosted toward him and flip kicked his chin, which in turn caused his mask to fly off as Dorothea conjured up fire and launched it toward Jacques where Oran fired an Electrical Dust arrow into his chest, causing him to yell in pain… which was enough for Dorothea's flames to travel inside of his throat.
"Nnngh… ack… hack…!" Jacques wheezed.
"Fire in your throat." Dorothea sassed.
"Finally got you to shut up too." Sonic said, high fiving both Dorothea and Oran as Gonta then grabbed Jacques from behind and German Suplexed him for insult to injury.
Meryl felt her ankle stop hurting as she moved her foot around again. "Phew…" She sighed in relief, then saw Adam retrieving his sword. She sent some yellow fire toward him as Adam looked up and used his sword to block the firebolt and then was ready to use his semblance on Meryl… only for Byleth to throw Areadbhar, impaling him in the shoulder to disrupt him as he then got hit with lasers from both Penny and SAPR.
Weiss and Winter both felt their auras return as they both slashed at Jacques as Ruby quickly used a Rose Tornado to launch Jacques up in the air.
"Weiss, NOW!"
Weiss jumped into the tornado, pulling out Eiskonigen and swung it down into Jacques' chest, sending him crashing into the ground.
"Hey, use this!" Mine threw Pumpkin toward Weiss as she grabbed it and then aimed directly at Adam, pulling the trigger and struck Adam in the head to finish him off as well.

Weiss landed on the ground gracefully, tossing Pumpkin back to Mine. "That rifle's a bit too heavy."
"Says the girl with a heavy ass longsword that she can hold with one hand now?"
"...Fair enough."
"Not to mention you just casually tossed it to me?"
"Okay, okay… it's not that heavy." Weiss rolled her eyes playfully with a smile before they high fived.
"Rrrgh…" A voice groaned as they turned to see Jacques getting up, his armor falling apart.
Oran pulled up his bow, aiming at him but Ruby gently put her arm down while Weiss walked over to him.
"You… you will never… be the heir to the SDC. You're nothing but an embarrassment. I should have hauled you to the mental hospital along with that stupid dog. You would have been more disciplined… you ungrateful brat!"
He went to slap her but Weiss grabbed his wrist.
"Enough." Weiss said firmly.
"I've taught you everything I knew… and yet you reject everything! I called in the Wario Bros to kidnap you so I can discipline you, yet you still spit in my face! You're worthless and you will always be! You are an embarrassment to the Schnee family name!"
"Says the man who bought his way into the family just for power. If anyone's an embarrassment, it's you. You are the biggest stain in the SDC and the biggest bigot known to mankind. If my grandfather were here right now, he'd be very angry with you. You're the reason my mother was an alcoholic before she recovered."
"Now you're resorting to sland-"
"SILENCE!" Weiss yelled, making Jacques flinch. "You talk about slander, yet you were the one who slanders Faunus and treat them like crap. You treat them like fourth class citizens, perhaps even lower than that. Don't think I don't know about you banishing a certain family from Atlas because they were graverobbers. They were your friends yet you treated them like trash the moment you learned about this because… you wanted to protect your image."
Weiss glared at Jacques. "I'm done with your pathetic gaslighting. I'm DONE with you being some dictator in our lives. We're better off without you… and you know what? I reject you."
At that moment, Jacques started to glow, slowly disappearing as he was too astonished to even say anything until he was gone. At the same time, Adam disappeared as well.
Ruby softly smiled. "How do you feel after that?"
Weiss let out a huge sigh of relief. "Like my shoulders got lighter…"
Suddenly, a huge orb of light appeared in front of them before morphing into the Sheikah symbol. Weiss's eyes widened as she slowly reached for it, feeling enveloped in light as she found herself in a dark void.
"You finally did it."
BGM: Zelda's Lullaby (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)
Weiss turned, seeing Nayru approach her. "You're finally getting rid of your baggage." She smiled.
"N-Nayru…!" Weiss said before frowning, tearing up seeing her. "I'm so sorry… I… I didn't mean to-"
Nayru held up her hand. "No… don't say anything. You didn't mean for this to happen. If anything, I'm angry at Cyberspace for pulling this out of you… and it was using your PTSD to prevent a reunion until now."
"It still… kinda stings."
"Yes, it will… but you've learned to confront it. I'm proud of you." She smiled as Weiss instinctively knelt in front of her as Nayru giggled, taking her hand as her Triforce tattoo on her wrist glowed, with the Wisdom piece glowing blue.
Weiss's Sheikah form returned to her. She rose as she and Nayru both smiled, then Nayru hugged her. Weiss was caught by surprise before she returned the hug.
"I'll be with you always…" She whispered as they were enveloped in light before Weiss found herself back with everyone, still in her Sheikah Form.
"Oh hey, you got that back!" Blake smiled.
"It feels so snug… just like how I remember it."
Sonic whistled. "Not bad." He said as Penny and SAPR hugged her, followed by RBY, Mine, Oran, Winter and SAPR.

"Let's head back." Weiss said.
Once they were out, Weiss let out a breath of fresh air and sighed deeply. "That feels good…" She said.
"Proud of you, Weiss." Ruby smiled.
Weiss giggled. "Thanks…" She said as they walked down the mountain… and at that moment, something materialized nearby.
"Hey bitch."
"Mmmph!" Ruby stiffened, knowing full well who said that. "Oh no…"
They all turned, seeing Dark Ruby in front of her with a sadistic smirk.
BGM: Shaded Truths (Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep)
"You again!" Yang glared as everyone instinctively got in front of Ruby to protect her. "Even as data, you have the audacity to show yourself!"
Suddenly, a wall of fire got inbetween them and Dark Ruby as Meryl walked out, readying her halberd.
"You…!" Dark Ruby said in surprise.
Meryl scowled at her. "Let's go, bitch." She said as Dark Ruby readied her scythe with a smirk before they both lunged right at each other.
"Error! Error! Garbage detected!"
At that moment, Dark Ruby suddenly transformed into a harmless Goomba, somersalting into Meryl harmlessly.
"...Oh. Oh well!" Meryl shrugged as she punted the Goomba into the sea of clouds.
"Phew…" Ruby sighed in relief.
Meanwhile, in the Underworld…
"Mmmm…" Dark Ruby groaned. "Why do I feel like I just got massively insulted?"
And then a bowling ball hit her on the head.
"OW!"
