Cyberspace 3-3: Memory Will Tell
BGM: The Part Where He Kills You (Portal 2) (Start at 1:13)
"I think we found the neurotoxin!" Masaru exclaimed as he, Jataro, Nagisa, Kotoko, Dipper, GLaDOS, Cave and Amy were running away from the Neurotoxin that had just been activated.
"Don't you think using neurotoxin to kill one individual is overkill?!" Amy asked.
"I was a different machine back then!" GLaDOS said. "Although since I'm an android and Cave's a robot, I think we'll be fine compared to the rest of you!"
"Warning: Neurotoxin levels are non-acidic. Proceeding to add lemon juice for robot melting acidity."
"...Oh." GLaDOS grimaced.
"Is the lemon juice combustible?" Cave asked as they were climbing, earning a smack upside the head from Kotoko. "Ooof!"
"Oh, now I remember… I added lemon juice to some neurotoxin to clean out some Turrets. Of course, this was before Chell tried to make her daring escape."
"Why am I NOT surprised!" Masaru groaned as they kept running, boosting off of some dash panels as the liquid neurotoxin was rising up, all of them grabbing some levers and rising up.
"No offense, but you had some issues back then…" Miku said.
"You wouldn't be the first to tell me that!" GLaDOS rolled her eyes as they jumped around a loop as they found the portal straight ahead, but a few Turrets appeared to get in their way and started shooting them.
Amy got up front and blocked the bullets with her hammer before she swatted them away. "This way!" She said as they ran inside the portal as she was the last to go in as she noticed a tidal wave of neurotoxin headed straight for her, where she jumped in as the portal closed.

"Hah… hah…" Dipper lay on his back. "Well… I'll add neurotoxin to the list of things I've survived. Compared to Bill, that was nothing… I hope."
"Phew…" Nagisa sat on his butt and chuckled. "Can't believe I'm saying this, but that was a thrill ride…"
"Good for you!" Kotoko panted.
Meanwhile, with Tails…
"Hmmm…" Tails mumbled as he was with the Star Fox crew, getting a feel for a monument.
"Hey Tails!" Ruby went up to him alongside Weiss and Sonic.
"Oh hey, you guys." Tails waved. "We just need a few more parts. Sonic, can you and Weiss go get some for the little guy?
"Oh, sure…" Weiss nodded as she and Sonic started to walk off, both of them feeling woozy as they walked off with the Koco.
"Did they look a little off to you?" Slippy wondered.
"That cyber infection is getting to them…" Krystal said. "We're running out of time."
"Come on, guys… just hang on a bit longer." Ruby requested.
"I'm sure they can handle it." Tails said… when suddenly, Sage appeared in front of them.
"Yipe!" He yelped, jumping in surprise as the Star Fox crew drew their weapons.
"Yeesh, kid, are ya tryin' to get shot?" Falco wondered.
Sage ignored them as she turned to focus on Tails. "Miles Prower. You have known Sonic for most of your life."
"Yeah… and?"
"Your imprisonment within Cyber Space. The defeat of the Ancients' Titans. Do you trust how he is handling it? With your life?"
"Of course! I'll admit that he isn't perfect, but Sonic has overcome impossible odds over and over again. I know he and the rest of WSP will save us from this."
"So you're saying you have faith in him?"
"It's not a matter of faith. I've got a lifetime of data to back up my observations."
Sage put her hand on her chin. "Your loyalty is founded on empirical data. I can appreciate that. The feeling he inspires in you and the others… is that a facet on being alive?"
She then turned to Ruby. "Ruby Rose, you've known Weiss for a year and a few months, correct?"
"Holy moly, has it really been that long?" Ruby wondered, "Heh, I guess time flies faster than I thought it did. But what does that have to do with anything?"
"Tell me… what is Weiss to you?"
"Well, aside from being a knucklehead on a few occasions, I know that she is one of my besties."
"One of?" Sage raised an eyebrow with a tilted head. "I always believed you could only have one best friend."
"That is some very close minded thinking. I have tons of best friends! Weiss, Blake, JNPR, Nyx, Xena and Yagami, Penny, Mario, Luigi, Sonic, Gloria, Shantae, Ibuki, given how she likes to hang with mom and gets along with the whole family, Chiaki, Caboose-"
Falco snorted. "Why am I not surprised with the metal head?"
"And even before she became my sister, Byleth. Oh, and Zwei and Cerberus… just to name a few."
"I see." Sage nodded. "But back with Weiss… what would you do if she were fully trapped in cyberspace?"
"I would do anything to bring her back… no matter what."
Sage's eyes widened, seeing the genuine determination in Ruby's eyes. "Your love for her is extraordinary… but between your love for Weiss and Miles' loyalty to Sonic… I do not think it will amount to anything when the inevitable happens. It cannot be prevented."
"What are you talking about?" Tails asked as Sage started to slowly disappear.
"Perhaps it is kinder if you don't know."
Back with Kyoko…
Sage reappeared next to Kyoko. "Antagonizing them again?" Kyoko asked.
"I'm just curious about their loyalty to both Weiss and Sonic. They're both deteriorating from what's happening to them, yet Ruby and Miles Prower are both loyal to them. It's… almost saddening what will happen to the two of them."
"Then we've no time to lose. We need to find Eggman and figure out a way to prevent both Sonic and Weiss from being trapped in cyberspace."
"But how? I do not think it is possible. I've ran through all possible scenarios and they do not get out alive."
Kyoko chuckled, giving her a friendly smirk. "Then perhaps you haven't thought of every scenario."
Meanwhile…
"City Escape…?" Futaba wondered as she wandered down the sidewalk with Jade, Iris and Rantaro.
"Man, it's got so many uphills… I could work up an appetite." Iris joked as they walked together while looking at the sights, though dread came over Futaba… especially when she heard the sound of a semi truck horn.
In fact, it got close enough that Futaba quickly activated her Maiden powers and pushed everyone into an alleyway. "What are you doing?" Jade asked.
"Saving you from getting ran over!"
Futaba peeked out of the corner along with the trio, where they'd see a small semi truck drive by with a trailer filled with rings.
"...I think we'll be fine." Rantaro said as Futaba breathed a sigh of relief.
"Okay, I'm just paranoid…"
"Over what?" Jade asked as they started to walk.
SMASH!
The quad turned their heads to see a large GUN truck bursting through some buildings before turning toward the group.
BGM: Cyber Space 3-4: Constructure (Sonic Frontiers)
"Over THAT!" She yelled, quickly delving into her technomagic and creating four hoverboards. "Quick, get on!" She instructed as the group immediately hopped on the hoverboards and took off with the GUN truck following them.
"Geez, whoever's driving that truck has got to be insane!" Iris said as buzzsaws immediately came out. "...MENTALLY INSANE!"
The four of them drifted a corner and took off as the truck drifted, smashing several cars into buildings as it continued to go after them, trying to cut them down with the buzzsaws, but to no avail.
At that moment, lasers struck the buzzsaws as the quad looked up to see Penny and SAPR flying overhead, where the GUN Truck summoned several rocket launchers and shot them at the Atlas sisters.
"Whoa!" SAPR yelped as she flew down as Penny flew around and then shot them down with lasers.
As the quad was hoverboarding away and the robots dodging an endless supply of missiles, a motorcycle drove on the rooftops, hopping between gaps before jumping off as Nero hopped off the bike and landed on top of the roof, quickly hopping down and knocking on the door.
"Excuse me! You're going three hundred miles an hour in a thirty mile per hour zone. I'm gonna have to pull you over!"
Gunshots shot out where Nero instinctively dodged it.
"Alright, guess we're doing this the hard way."
Nero immediately went into his Demon form and jumped down, punching the hood as hard as he could as the truck flipped over… but it activated jet thrusters, gaining wings and started to fly toward the quad.
"Huh, that's new…"
"IT CAN FLY?!" Iris yelled.
"Probably flies a lot better than a few seven forty seven airplanes… and well managed too!" Futaba said.
The GUN Truck started firing lasers at the group, forcing them to dodge them as one barely nicked Futaba in the arm. "Nnngh!" She grunted.
Nearby, SAPR had grabbed Nero and flew him above the GUN Truck. She spun around and threw him down.
"I'M IMPOUNDING THIS!"
Nero punched the GUN Truck, sending it crashing down to the ground where it exploded upon contact as Nero landed on the ground, turning back to normal as the quad stopped and turned toward the fiery wreckage.
"You okay?" Jade asked.
"Yeah, just a first degree burn. I'll be fine." Futaba waved it off, applying some ice on the spot. "Aaaah… wonder if this island has some aloe."
They hopped off the hoverboards and joined up with the robots and Nero as they walked into the portal together.
End BGM
A door opened up from the GUN truck as Hades got out of the truck with a casual whistle, not caring that his shoulder was on fire.
"Heh. Ain't I a stinker?"
Meanwhile, with Sonic and Weiss…
Sage appeared before the two wandering around. "What is your end goal?" She wondered.
"Eh, it varies." Sonic shrugged. "Sometimes it's a spinning sign, sometimes it's a big ol' ring."
Weiss snickered. "Well, if we're going by smart assery… for me, it'd be either a flagpole or a Power Star… occasionally a Grand Star."
"Heheh!" Sonic chuckled, fist bumping Weiss.
Sage sweatdropped. He's rubbing off on her. "No no, I mean what do you want to accomplish?"
"Ah, right… gather up the Chaos Emeralds and save our friends." Sonic said.
"Get after Eggman too." Weiss said, but then she flashbacked to how Futaba handled herself with Data Shido. "...I think…?" She looked down, putting her hand on her chin.
"Are you sure that is wise?"
"Kinda the story of my life." Sonic said.
"And the voice that commands you? What if it is leading you both to disaster?"
"If they want to start trouble, we'll stop them too." Sonic nudged Weiss. "Right?"
"Huh? …Oh, right."
"You certainly make it sound simple, but your arrogance will be your undoing."
Sonic rolled his eyes. "Look, either stop being cryptic and tell us what's going on or skedaddle."
"There would be no point…" She said and disappeared, but both of them could have sworn Sage looked a little sad.
"Hmmm…" Sonic turned to Weiss. "Feelin' okay, bud?"
"Mmm… considering what I've seen with Futaba, I… wonder if I'm doing the right thing with Eggman."
"Ah. I get it…" Sonic nodded. "I've been down that road before. When I was fighting the Metarex, two of my friends were trapped. One of them looked really injured and the other looked scared. It… took me to a dark place I didn't know I had. You want to know who snapped me out of it? Three guesses and the first two don't count."
"Uh… Tails?"
"Nope."
"...Cream?"
"Nope."
"Amy?"
"Eggman."
"Ah, okay, Eggma-... WHAT?!"
"Yeah, he said something along the lines of "It's unbecoming of me" or something like that. Sure, he's rotten and his ego is bigger than Bowser, but… he tends to have a softer side, he just doesn't want to show it that often."
"Oh…"
"Look, I understand what Egghead did to you really affected you, but if you're having second thoughts… perhaps you ought to slow down and think about how it'd affect you, ya know?"
"He's right."
Caliburn hopped off of Sonic's back.
"While I understand that you want to get back at him. It is a slippery slope. Killing one individual will make you go down a path that you'd probably never get out of. "If I kill this person, then it will more than likely be okay to kill this next individual." And then another, and then another."
"I wouldn't go that far."
"Once you have a taste of blood, it's hard to get rid of that feeling."
Sonic nodded, folding his arms. "I know the ol' saying "If you kill me, you're no better than any other killer" is a bit cliche these days, but… killing folks is a slippery slope, after all. Once you get your hands all bloodied, you're not going to be the same… and Caliburn's right. You kill one person and then you'd have a harder time trying to justify not killing the other. Next thing you know, you're a blood splattering vigilante."
"Okay, but what about those like Samus, Dante, or even Bayonetta?"
"They have their reasons. While, sure, they defeat evil by their own means… it doesn't mean we all should become like them. Otherwise, we'd all be the same."
"Right…"
"Look, all I'm saying is that you oughta slow down and just think if killing Egghead will really bring you peace. You're friends with Seryu, right? Did her killing your ex-old man bring her peace?"
Weiss' eyes widened. "No… in fact, she's still haunted by it. She's just really good at not showing it these days."
"There ya go." Sonic patted her on the shoulder. "You wanna know why all of us are here? Why Kyoko recruited a lot of folks? Because she was worried about you. She knew you'd want to go and try to knock Eggman out, so she rallied up a team to help you get out of your mindset before it's too late. Of course, cyberspace separated all of us, but still. She did this just to protect you from becoming a full fledged vigilante."
"Oh…"
"Plus, remember what you almost did in your corrupted Deity form? What would have happened if Meryl didn't knock you to your senses? It wouldn't just be Egghead that you'd have to live with."
Weiss gasped, her eyes widening. "Oh gods…"
She fell on her knees, her hands over her head with tears forming in her eyes.
Sonic instinctively knelt down, rubbing her back.
"What am I even doing…" Weiss wondered, her voice nearly breaking.
"It's gonna be okay. We'll be here to get you under control." He smiled.
Weiss sniffled, wiping her tears as she slowly stood up. "Sonic… promise me when we run into Eggman… you'll hold me back."
"Oh, I'm not gonna hold you back-"
"Wha-"
"-Because I'm gonna have Knuckles sit on you until you calm down. Or heck, maybe I'll get Big instead."
Weiss stared at Sonic before she cracked a smile, laughing a little, which was enough to make Sonic grin and Caliburn chuckle.
"Oh gods, I needed that."
"You're welcome!" Sonic chuckled.
At that moment, the Koco approached them with a spare part. "Hey, that's good! Take that to Tails. We're gonna keep moving."
The Koco made some happy noises and then ran off.
"You ready?" Sonic asked.
"Yeah." Weiss nodded.
"Hey!" A voice said the moment they heard a warping sound. They turned to see Shadow approaching them.
"What's up?" Sonic asked.
"I came to get you two. Nagisa's needing some help."
"Nagisa?" Sonic wondered. "What's going on?"
"Take my hand." Shadow said, offering his hand as Sonic and Weiss both took it, and then he Chaos Controlled to Ruby's location.
"Whoa…!" Weiss was seeing stars for a bit.
"Never Chaos Controlled?" Sonic asked as Weiss nodded, having to sit down to compose herself. "Yeah, it takes a while to get used to."
He turned to the others. "So, what's up?"
"I just… feel like I need all hands on deck." Nagisa said as he turned to the portal. "I don't know why but… I feel like I do."
"We're with ya." Penny smiled.
"Right." Nagisa nodded.
"I guess this is all of us." Silver said, noting that Star Fox and Ratchet and Clank had just arrived, then they all went in once Weiss snapped out of it.
Once they walked through the portal, it closed behind everyone as they looked around, where the original Warriors of Hope looked around.
"Is this… what I think it is?" Kotoko wondered.
"No way…" Masaru whispered.
"Oh no…" Jataro said.
Nagisa grimaced. "The Exaclibur… it's where we first met Komaru."
At that moment, the quad started having flashbacks all at once. Not to mention that they could hear screaming of innocent adults being slaughtered.
Dipper noticed the four of them looked distressed. "Hey… you guys okay?"
Nagisa gritted his teeth while Mine went over to hug Kotoko while Futaba wrapped her arms around Jataro. SAPR took it upon herself to hug Masaru. "Yeah… it's just that this room brings back so many memories… whether we like 'em or not."
"You guys have been here before?" Silver asked curiously.
Nagisa shook her head. "No. It's more than that. It's-"
"It's where we all started believing that kids are meant to be superior in many ways to the Demons known as adults~!"
Everyone looked around the room to find the source of the new voice. However, the Warriors of Hope knew all too well who that voice belonged to.
Nagisa's eyes widened in shock, his suspicions were confirmed. They saw a young little girl approaching them in an electric wheelchair.
BGM: Despair Syndrome (Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls)
"Shit… shit shit shit shit shit…!" Kotoko whimpered.
"Oh no no no no…" Masaru grimaced.
Jataro said nothing but hid his face into Futaba's chest with tears in his eyes. Futaba held him tightly while giving the girl in the wheelchair a hateful glare.
A light growl escaped Nagisa's lips, flashing back to their time with her, especially the moment when she forcibly kissed him and shoved her tongue down his throat.
"Y-You…!"
"How the hell did she get to Mobius…?!" Masaru demanded to know.
"That's what I want to know…" Jataro whimpered.
"No, wait… she's still on the moon… right?" Kotoko wondered with a hint of doubt.
"She is." Nagisa said, his fear filled eyes replaced with anger, giving her a hateful glare. "Even if you're a digital being created by our memories, I'd never thought I'd see you again… Monaca Towa."
Monaca giggled. "Teehee~ I'm glad you still remember me, Nagisa Shingetsu~!" She said, giving him a once over in his new get up. "Monaca must say, you really have grown in to a fine looking teenager~! Not to mention your voice sounds pretty much grown-up too~!"
She looked at the other three. "Same goes for you guys as well~! You three really grew up looking much cooler than before~!"
"Did she just seriously speak in third person just now…?" Dipper wondered, where Silver shrugged in an "Don't know, don't care" attitude along with a few others.
"Guess Ibuki's not the only one now…" Ruby quietly said with a slight chuckle.
"Spare the flattery, you demon." Nagisa spat, having used the same derogatory term he used on adults from before. "Don't even think for a minute that whatever bullshit you tell me is going to change anything."
"Oho~? Me? A Demon?"
Monaca pouted.
"Aww, don't be such a meanie, Nagisa~! I thought that the adults were the ones who are supposed to be called that!"
"Maybe. Maybe not." He sighed softly to himself. "In fact, what we once believed in is nothing more than a distant memory I would rather forget about and move on from…"
"I see, I see~ I guess you really have changed, huh? You choosing to defy me over the high expectations Monaca had over you? In a sense, you're still a failure like your parents always thought you were."
Monaca smirked, expecting Nagisa to crack as he had flinched a bit as that was enough to keep him in line.
However…
"Hmph…"
"Eh…?"
Nagisa scoffed. "If you think you can use the same old trick on me, then it's not going to work." He shook his head. "Don't make me laugh, Monaca… Failure…? High expectations…?" He clicked his tongue in contempt. "Nonsense like those doesn't even matter to me anymore. Not. One. Bit."
Monaca stared at Nagisa in stunned silence for a few moments. "Wh-what are you talking about?"
Nagisa smiled a bit in remembrance and appreciation of his new family. "Let's say that some good people managed to help me see that life is more than living up to someone's high expectations."
Penny and SAPR smiled in gratitude.
"Mmgh…" Monaca puffed her cheek, feeling tears swell in her eyes… and to everyone's surprise that weren't the original Warriors of Hope, she started to flail her arms about.
"That's! Not! How! It! Is! Supposed! To! Go! Nagisa! You! Are! Supposed! To! Stay! In! Line! And! Be! Submissive! Just! Like! Always! THAT! IS! HOW! MONACA! WANTED! IT! TO! HAPPEN!"
Everyone in the room cringed at Monaca's sudden behavior.
"YOU! SHOULD! BE! IN! A! FETAL! POSITION! RIGHT! THIS! INSTANT!"
"Fucking hell! What is her damage…?!" Nero cringed.
"Insolent child…!" Shadow seethed out, covering his ears while glaring at Monaca in irritation.
Nagisa growled out in annoyance. "Rgh… I guess some things never change…"
"ALL! OF! YOU! SHOULD! BE! BOWING! TO! MONACA!"
"Nnngh! Just how annoyingly bratty is this kid?!" Falco complained.
"Good grief, and we had to calm her down from this?" Masaru winced.
"My ears…!" Jataro whimpered.
"God, why didn't I punch her earlier!" Kotoko complained.
"I'll do it for you." Mine glared.
"Nnngh! Was I this bad when I was little?" Ruby asked.
"No, you were a lot less brattier than this one!" Yang said.
"...I'll take it!"
"Agh! Can someone shut her up before I do!" Iris complained.
"Is it wrong for me to say that I want to hit this little brat so badly…?" Jade asked.
Get in line, dude… Futaba thought.
"Hah… hah… hah…" Monaca panted after her tantrum was over.
"Excuse me!" Sonic raised his hand. "If I may ask… why are you in a wheelchair? Are your legs crippled or something?"
Monaca looked at her wheelchair. "Oh, this? You could say that."
A devilish look formed on her face.
"In fact, actually…"
She hopped off of her wheelchair, doing a midair somersault before gracefully landing with a cheerful smile on her face. "... Monaca doesn't even need it right now~!"
Everyone looked at Monaca in complete shock. Knuckles, Tails and Amy rubbed their eyes to make sure they weren't just seeing things while everyone else was at a loss for words.
"Wait… she can actually WALK?!" Silver said in shock.
"No fucking way…" Iris breathed out as she was as equally as shocked as Rantaro.
Dipper blinked. "Whoa… you weren't kidding when you told us that she faked being a cripple."
Nearby, Sage was watching the whole thing, her hand over her mouth in surprise. "Oh my goodness…" Sage could only say.
"Monaca Towa… where do I even begin with her?" Nagisa wondered before sighing. "Long story short, she was a happy child but her family didn't like her or wanted to be around her. It got to the point where she faked an injury that "put her" into a wheelchair. Because of that, people started to feel sorry for her and gave her all the attention she wanted. And all because… she faked it."
"WHAT?!" Mine yelled out in anger.
Anger filled within Sage, clenching her fists. "I must let them know." She said, quickly disappearing.
End BGM
Meanwhile…
GUN helicopters flew in and surrounded Eggman and his robots. Orbot and Cubot hugged each other while Metal Sonic prepared for battle.
Suddenly, Sage appeared in front of them and proceeded to telekinetically send them all packing into each other, causing them to explode.
"I've lost count of how many times you've saved us from the hazards here." Eggman said.
"It is my function. I live to serve."
"You've exceeded your function! I'm very impressed with you, Sage. No! I'm proud of you!"
Sage softly smiled before remembering what she came here for. "Doctor. There's something you should know. Cyberspace has made this girl named Monaca Towa."
"Monaca Towa? Hmmm… I've heard that name in passing. Warriors of Hope's main head, correct? Or at least, she was… not sure how they managed to dump her."
"She faked being in a wheelchair just to gain attention."
"She faked an injury?" Eggman wondered, flashing back to where Weiss was stuck in one for a while. "Hmm… truly deplorable if you ask me."
"Yes… I have not told the other yet."
"Other"?" Eggman asked curiously.
"Yes, "other"."
The group turned their heads to see Kyoko arriving via Metroids as she calmly approached them.
"Oh hello Kirigiri!" Cubot waved.
Metal let out some annoyed boops, approaching Kyoko and aimed his hand directly at her, energy seeping out. Kyoko stopped, calmly folding her arms. Her eyes daring him to open fire at her.
"Stand down, Metal." Eggman ordered as Metal backed off, but still gave her a glare. "I have to say, detective. You play a wild game of chess. You baiting me into the news just so you can know about my whereabouts at all times was quite the play if I say so myself."
"Indeed." Kyoko nodded. "I've had quite a trip down memory lane in cyberspace-"
"Welcome to cyberspace. It seems to bring harsh memories for everyone." Eggman said.
"Your memories."
"...Beg pardon?"
"Look, both of you can air out your differences. Right now, I fear everyone may fall victim to Monaca Towa's schemes." Sage said.
"Monaca Towa… hmm, I've heard about her." Kyoko said. "Orchestrated a heinous mass killing of adults by way of brainwashed children to bring about the second coming of Ultimate Despair."
"What do we do? I fear we may not have much time." Sage said
Kyoko looked to Eggman. "Think we can work together?"
"Well, I've got nothing better to do."
"Count us in!" Orbot said.
Metal rolled his eyes and folded his arms, seemingly indifferent.
"Thank you." Sage smiled. "Let's try to figure out how to stop them from doing something horrible."
Back with the others…
"My my, has Monaca made you all speechless~?" Monaca asked smugly.
Dipper glared at Monaca hatefully. "You… you really are an awful human being, you know that? No… you're worse than that. You're nothing more than another link in the world's worst chain!"
"Call me whatever you want, but Monaca did what she did~! The wheelchair? Monaca being crippled? It was just an act that I put up so that people would pity me. I was always looked down upon when I was growing up, so in order for people to feel bad, I pretended my legs didn't work~!"
"Normally, I hate the idea of hurting little kids…" Sonic narrowed his eyes dangerously at Monaca as he gripped Caliburn tightly. "But I'll make her an exception."
Caliburn nodded. "Indeed." He glared at Monaca. "I may agree with Sir Shadow here… What an insolent child this little girl must be."
Weiss, meanwhile, had shadows over her bangs, her blood boiling. "You little brat." She clenched her fists tightly, anger and disgust slowly building up by the second. "Do you have any idea how many people in this world can't walk…? How many aren't born with that ability…? Weiss grit her teeth in hatred. "How deplorable… YOU DISGUST ME, MONACA TOWA!"
Monaca started laughing. "You speak of "lost limbs". Please. Everybody knows that those who have lost a limb just did it on purpose for attention."
Everyone's eyes widened.
"Wait, stop! Stop right there!" Byleth demanded.
"Why should I? They're no better than anyone! In fact, I'd say those who lost a limb are degenerates who are desperate for attention! They're attention whores and they ought to be brought down to Hell like the most deplorable people on the planet. You want to know why?"
She formed a wicked grin.
"THEY DID IT TO THEMSELVES BECAUSE THEY'RE SO BORED OUT OF THEIR SKULLS, THEY THOUGHT CUTTING OFF A LIMB WOULD GAIN SYMPATHY FROM EVERYONE!"
Dorothea put her hand over her mouth in horror.
"She… she did not go there… did she…?" Blake asked, feeling frightful as she felt her hair start to stand up.
"How many lines is she willing to cross?" Ratchet wondered.
Weiss glanced over at Ruby, who was trembling in rage with shadows over her bangs. "Ruby…?"
"...Say that again one more time…"
Ruby gritted her teeth, Zinogre fangs already having formed as lightning crackled around Ruby.
"But slower."
Monaca then turned to Oran, who was looking quite livid. "Aww, and look at the little orphan. What's wrong? Gonna cry again like you did when fighting the snake with the mustache?"
Oran took a deep breath, enough for Nagisa to take notice. "Hey bud, you alright?"
Oran breathed out. "I'm going to knock her teeth out. I know she's your arch nemesis and it's not nice to punch girls… but I'm going to punch her."
"Get in line then. Preeeetty sure she managed to get on everyone else's nerves." Kotoko said.
Winter pulled out her sword. "I say we put her down for good."
"I agree!" Meryl nodded.
Monaca faked a yawn. "Yawn~ All this talk is making Monaca feel bored." She brought out a controller as everyone squared up. "Now then, how 'bout we all have a little tussle together~?"
Monaca pressed a button, as four robots landed in the ground in front of them. Specifically, HeroRobot Mark Guyver, PriestRobot Doctor Von Gerolt, FighterRobot Highlander the Great and SageRobot Hannibal X.

Hannibal X aimed directly at Nagisa and fired, forcing him to run away from the bullets. "Nnngh! I never thought I'd be fighting my own robot…!"
"Dude, same here!" Masaru exclaimed, dodging the drill attacks from Mark Guyver.
"Ack! Nnngh!" Jataro yelped as he dodged the bombs being sent his way until he found himself surrounded as Mark Guyver and Highlander separated everyone.
Futaba dropped down in front of Jataro, quickly putting up barriers to block the explosions. "You alright?"
"Y-yeah… I'm just… scared to fight my own robot!" He admitted.
Futaba shifted her eyes. "I don't blame you. Stay close to me, okay?"
"Right."
"And when there's an opening, I'll let you have it. The timing's gonna be tight, so don't worry about messing up. I've been down that road in games myself." She winked. "I got your back, little bro!"
Jataro smiled. "Okay!"
"I'm gonna see if I can't hack my way into this little nerd's controller."
Ruby, who went straight into her Rose Zinogre form, moved around the robots and got close to Monaca as Sonic, Weiss and Byleth had the same thought.
"Oh dear. I'm in trouble~" Monaca smiled as they lunged at her, but protective barriers blocked them from doing so. "Ooops~ I'm protecting myself~ Good thing too, because-"
She glanced over to Weiss. "People who put themselves in wheelchairs and not just for fun are the lowest of scum~"
Weiss growled. "Nagisa… tear her a new one for us!"
"Nnngh! Working on it!" Nagisa grunted, hiding behind cover as his robot fired at him, but then turned around and quick scoped Mine in the shoulder.
"Gragh!" Mine grunted, taking cover. "Nagisa, your robot sucks!"
"I'm well aware of that!" He said as Dipper got out of cover and shot it with his Ray Gun and quickly hid before he could get hit.
Jade quickly sucked up a bomb from Gerolt and launched it back, striking Jataro's robot to stun him. "Atta girl!" Futaba praised as she grabbed Jataro's wrist. "Alright, go!" She activated her Maiden Powers and unleashed a burst of wind, sending Jataro flying as he quickly hammered Gerolt's weak point, sending it crashing into a wall.
"Nailed it!" Jataro fist pumped, where Silver teleported near him and blocked an attack from Mark Guyver as he ran back to Futaba. "How's the hacking coming along?"
"Mwehehe~ She's not gonna know what'll hit her!"
Highlander swung the axe down on Kotoko, where she backflipped gracefully and landed as Highlander swung again, but was grabbed by Gonta, holding its leg and slammed her to the ground. Gonta ran over and kicked the axe away, then Knuckles unleashed an uppercut to knock Highlander into the air.
"Need boost?" Gonta requested.
"Yeah!" Kotoko nodded as Gonta got into position as Kotoko ran forward and then when she stepped onto his hands, he launched her into the air as aura burst through her arms.
Like a hard boiled egg! "ATHENS SMASH!"
She swung her fist into the center of Highlander, sending it crashing down into the ground where Kotoko landed gracefully.
Mine took notice from cover and smiled. "That's my sis." She said proudly.
Hannibal disappeared, hiding in the shadows as he emerged from behind Nagisa and Dipper, causing Mine to gasp. "BEHIND YOU!" She yelled.
The two turned around as Hannibal aimed… only for a lemon to be thrown into him and burst into flames, causing Hannibal to dance around and try to extinguish himself.
"Yeah, how do you like THAT combustible lemon!" Cave declared proudly as Nagisa quickly thrusted his spear into Hannibal, only for him to recover and kicked Nagisa down, stomping on his gut and aiming at his head, but green lasers shot him as Penny swooped in and kicked him in the head as SAPR swung a pink Spiked club at his head.
Penny dropped to the ground, combining her blades into one and fired a massive green laser into him, causing Hannibal to fall on his knees and exploded.
"That's one down!" Penny smiled.
Highlander got back up, only to see that her axe was missing. She heard a whistle as she turned around… only for K1-B0 to fly through and shoved her axe into her chest, knocking her down as Amy jumped over and hammered the axe deep into her, causing her to explode the moment Amy turned her back on the robot.
"Nice one!" Kotoko fist pumped.
Mark Guyver had kept drilling into Iris, but she parried every attack that was thrown at her as she jumped back and shot a fireball at his face as Masaru slashed at the knees, then Meryl swung her Halberd down behind him.
"Oh my oh my, there's two robots left. No worries, I can still win-"
Monaca moved a lever, but noticed that Von Gerolt didn't move or fired bombs at the group, especially after Yang punched one back into him. "What…?" She wondered as she tried to have Mark Guyver move as well, but he didn't move as well.
"What's wrong? Not used to having your controller unplugged?" Futaba taunted, having fully hacked into her and had Mark Guyver and Von Gerolt face each other as they both attacked one another as Mark Guyver drilled into Von Gerolt's center while the latter fired bombs, both of them exploding at the same time.

Weiss sighed. "Were you kids seriously this depraved?"
"Depraved? No. Experimental? Yes." Kotoko looked at Weiss. "Could you really blame us?"
"No, not really."
"Ah, don't worry about it!" Penny reassured. "I'm sure they're now better than that! Whoever baby bro and his friends were a long time ago, they're much more than that right now."
Nagisa smiled at his older robot sister in gratitude. "Thanks, sis."
Penny winked at him. "Anytime!"
"So, I guess we're done here." Shadow said. "All's that left is-"
At that moment, Monaca started laughing.
"Oh no~... Monaca says when we're done~! Time for Phase Two!"
She brought out another controller after getting rid of the hacked one and then pressed a button, which caused the wreckage of all four robots to dematerialize into pixels as they merged together to form Monaca's robot: MageRobot Black Suspirian.
"HUUUUUH?!" Masaru yelled. "When the hell did she get a robot of her own?!"
"Duuuuude, you could've tricked out your wheelchair and turned it into a Transformer! But noooo! Now I'm both disappointed AND peeved! Peeved because you took my robot for your own benefit!" Kotoko said.
"Oh my… that's… actually frightening." Jataro grimaced.
A cold sweat ran down Nagisa's head. "Dammit… I didn't know she had something like this…"
BGM: The Mighty Will Fall (Transformers: The Game)
The Black Suspirian jumped into the middle of the room, drills rotating as Monaca spun around, trying to drill into everyone as she was sitting on her "Throne staff" being held by the robot.
"Teehee~ Monaca's unstoppable~!"
"Just to let you know, the controller wasn't the only thing I hacked! I got rid of her barriers too!" Futaba called out.
"Good enough for me!" Blake said, lining up her shot together with Oran as they both fired a Plasma Shot/Fire Dust Arrow into Monaca.
"Ooof! Glad I have battle armor just in case~!" Monaca giggled.
"Wait, we can hit her now?" Ruby smirked, letting out a wolf howl as she zipped behind the robot and struck Monaca with lightning.
"Yow! Static electricity hurts…"
The robot turned around and swung the axe down at Ruby, but she got out of the way as they heard roaring as both Rathalos corkscrewed into the robot and Valka unleashed an icy breath that froze the robot in place where Meryl swung her halberd with a pink aura, unleashing an explosion upon contact.
"Mana… phyyyyyy!" Manaphy unleashed Whirlpool on it, making sure Monaca got drenched.
"Plepth!" Monaca spat out the water. "Not as refreshing as I'd hoped…"
"Hey guys? I hate to alarm you, but I don't think we're making a dent in this thing!" Tails said.
"No kidding… it took heavy hits from two Rathalos and a Velkhana and there's not a dent on it!" Sonic said.
"At least the brat is getting struck though." Caliburn said.
"Somehow, I don't think she's all bothered."
"Do we just keep attacking it until it starts falling apart?" Ratchet wondered.
"That will just exhaust us." Silver said.
"There's got to be a weak point…" Penny said as she scanned the robot while everyone was attacking the robot, with some attacks striking Monaca. She noticed some blinking areas on the robot.
Wait a minute… Penny thought, scanning the blinking joints. "Aha! Guys! Focus your attacks on the blinking ball joints! That might be its weak point!"
Duh! Futaba thought, mentally smacking her head as she aimed her ray gun from Monaca to the joints and opened fire as Weiss went into her Sheikah form and started running, dodging the drills and then throwing explosive kunai at them, causing the robot to fall limp.
"Comin' through!" Byleth ran forward and swung Amyr into the chest, hard enough for a certain punk bear to shoot out.
Nagisa groaned with Kotoko. "Oh great… it's him again…"
"Dammit, not that black gangster-looking Monokuma again!" Masaru complained.
"What was his name again… Blackkuma…?" Jataro wondered.
"Oi! It's Kurokuma, you racist ding dongs!" Kurokuma seethed as he turned around to try and crawl back into the robot, but Silver telekinetically pulled him away.
"Don't even think about it."
Dorothea unleashed a stream of fire on the open hatch, joined together with Ruby, Ratchet and Clank with the RYNO, Yang in her Shin form and breathing fire into it, Futaba with a beam of ice and Penny and SAPR with lasers.
"Uh oh…!" Monaca whimpered as she tried to make the robot move.
"No! Not my beautiful creation!" Kurokuma exclaimed, breaking free of Dipper and Masaru's grasp… only to get impaled from Rantaro's sword. "Gragh!"
"...Hmm, I don't know why, but I'm suddenly feeling cathartic." Rantaro said.
"We never met, ya green haired buffoon!"
Rantaro shrugged. "Must've been a nightmare I'd forgotten about." He removed the sword and kicked him away.
Kurokuma looked up to see the Star Fox crew and Nico running around and firing at the limp robot, and then Nero slashing at it stylishly while Winter pelted Monaca with ice shards.
"Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow!" Monaca winced as the robot started to turn red with smoke coming out of it.
"Hit the deck!" Fox exclaimed as they dove out of the way as the robot exploded.

"NOOOOO!" Kurokuma cried as he ran toward the robot, but was immediately turned into a frozen popsicle by Futaba.
Futaba giggled, playfully blowing some mist off of her fingers.
Nagisa narrowed his eyes dangerously at Monaca in the flaming wreckage. "Dipper… do you mind if I could borrow your blaster for a minute?"
"Uh, why?"
"Something I felt like I should've done a long time ago… even if it's a data copy of her."
Dipper nodded, knowing full well what he was going to do and handed it over without a second thought. "You do you, man."
Nagisa took the gun and slowly approached Monaca.
"Wait!"
Sage appeared in front of him.
"Before you do that… Kyoko Kirigiri has a message for you."
"Kyoko?" Nagisa raised an eyebrow as Sage conjured up a screen, showing Kyoko.
"I understand what you're wanting to do to her. I get that. I've been down that road before with Junko but I had snapped out of it. Regardless, killing a datafied version of someone who had wrought grief to you won't do you any good. It would be like stabbing a brick wall. Plus, would it really bring you peace? I've seen it happen a few times before… and it's not pretty."
Nagisa looked at the Ray Gun, closing his eyes. "You're right."
"I trust you know what to do, Nagisa. I know that you're a lot better than what you're about to do. I believe in you. I trust everyone else to do the same. Kirigiri out."
The screen disappeared as Sage moved to the side.
"What will you do now?" Sage asked.
Nagisa gripped his hand on the Ray Gun. "I know what I'm going to do."

Nagisa approached Monaca once more.
"Ugh…" Monaca stirred. "Huh…?" She looked to see an angry, yet calm Nagisa glaring at her. "H-hey there, N-Nagisa~…" She smiled nervously.
"Hello again… Monaca." He tightened his fists. "You're pathetic. You really believed you'd try to stroll back into our lives thinking you'd have us obey you with your tantrums. Well guess what? We all hated your damn tantrums! You kept us in line through sheer toxicity, triggering Kotoko's PTSD… triggering mine just so we could… "behave". You make me sick. Just looking at you with your sadistically gleeful smile… oh, and that KISS you gave me? Who the hell does such a thing?! You're the most disgusting parasite I've ever met! You think you can just control us, but we cut off the strings! You can't control them anymore. Not Masaru, not Jataro, not Kotoko, not Kokoron, not the Pines Twins, not Silver… not ME. We're our own people. We got past our "Demon" phase a long time ago, but you wanted to drag us back in. Guess what? It didn't work, you demonic parasite! Your whole plan went to snuff the moment you didn't kill Komaru, which I'm thankful that you didn't because we'd still be killing adults if it wasn't for her!"
Nagisa aimed the Ray Gun at Monaca's head. "The devil's waiting for you in Hell."
Monaca said nothing as she gave him a big smile. "So this is it for little ol' Monaca, huh? Is this the despair that Big Sis Junko felt? Oh, my, my~... this feels a lot more exciting than Monaca thought it-"
A laser bolt hit the ground beside her head a few inches away.
"-...Huh…? You didn't kill me?"
"I may have been a killer… but I'm not a heartless monster like you."
At that moment, Monaca, Kurokuma and the robot disappeared into data as everyone found themselves back in the outside world.

"Good." Sage nodded with a smile before disappearing.
"Good riddance." Weiss scowled at the spot where Monaca had disappeared from.
"Ditto here." Ratchet nodded before sighing. "Her voice was really annoying…"
Penny noticed Nagisa's exhausted frown. "...You okay there, little bro?"
Nagisa nodded as he tried to recompose himself. "Y-yeah… it's… it's just that… I need to sit down for a minute…" He said, sitting down on a rock.
"Wow… I guess that all of that pent up anger and frustration from earlier must've taken a lot out of him." Penny said to herself.
"...Based on the way he shouted at Monaca, I have a feeling that he most likely waited a long time for this. To get whatever he's been holding back off his chest." Weiss wagered.
One by one, everyone dispersed but stayed close as to recuperate from what Monaca put them all through.
Dorothea spotted Ruby sitting by herself, looking a bit down in the dumps. She calmly approached her. "Ruby…? Honey, are you okay?"
"Kinda…" Ruby mumbled as Dorothea sat down next to her. "It's just… what she said about my arm…"
"Right… that's really a sensitive subject for you." Dorothea nodded as Byleth, Yang, Oran and Gonta approached, sitting next to her with Yang roping her in for a hug as Oran rested his head on her shoulder.
Ruby sniffled. "I… didn't just lash out at her for me… I… I did it for her as well."
Byleth solemnly nodded. "I think she'd appreciate it."
They gently surrounded Ruby, gently giving her hugs as they possibly could as Blake, Weiss and Sonic slowly joined them.
