Beneath The Waves
Chapter: 5
Miles down the road, Dean broke the silence.
"Harmony spilled something very interesting to me the other night."
"Like?" Sam questioned, curiously.
"She's looking for her sister's assassin."
"Really?!" Sam responded, as he acted shocked.
"What?" Dean inquired.
"Just a small surprise she didn't tell us both," Sam related.
"Maybe she felt safe at that moment."
Sam rolled his eyes from Dean's perception.
"Yeah."
Dean went on to say, and included Sam on the information that Harmony gave him. Sam of course had intuited this, plus more that Dean had no idea.
Minutes passed and Sam wondered audibly.
"What if the cold case we were on is somehow linked to Harmony?"
"Connected? How?" Dean queried.
"Well, the psychopath is kidnapping young flaxen women that fit the description of Harmony's sister. I wonder if they knew one another? Most likely not." Sam averted and commenced.
"The solitary relation between them that we recognized is that the butcher is advertising them as a slab of meat and classified it as his ingenuity. The killer is sure to pick non-random addresses to strike. He's a bit- bizarre and wishes to be found. He keeps referring to them as 'Mermaids or Magic Goddesses.' He made a reel and had pictures, data about them. He labeled the videos, 'Did you know.' So, I researched and discovered that sources are linking him to previous murders. Except, nothing yet has been proven."
"Magic Goddess Mermaids? WHAT? Not this shit again!" Dean roared, as he reflected on the first time he dealt with a siren: Nick.
"Dean, this might be different?!" Sam suggested.
"How?"
"Not like it was before."
"Yeah. Whatever. We'll see."
"How do you feel?" Sam quizzed, as he glanced at Dean.
"What do you mean? Why do you ask? I feel fine!" Dean boomed vociferously.
"Alright." Sam acceded softly, as he perceived his brother can be sensitive at times.
The harshness of the stillness flowed between them. To calm the tension, Dean expressed the following, as they reached their destination.
"Okay-This might be something else, that we hadn't come across, precedently. Could have similarity though. Harmony is hiding something that might benefit her and us in this. I'll try to talk to her when we get back."
Meanwhile, Harmony had encountered a demo that astonished her. Another female was attacked and slaughtered.
'The user had to be the terminator. Why would he put this on here? On the internet- where people stand by and let him do these crimes!' Harmony speculated.
"Sicko!" She put forth, disgusted.
Finally, she resumed the recording title, 'Did you know?'
Immediately, Harmony's attention was caught when the man's voice spoke the words.
"This woman possesses a magical gift."
Harmony's orbs widened when it showed a chuck of derma missing. Harmony peeked further on in the scenery of the clip. In a flash, she apprehended the location.
"NOOOO!" Harmony hoarse clamorously and her hand traveled up to her mouth. She quickly rose and exited the spread to collect herself.
'Couldn't be?! Ally had just informed me that she would help me unearth my sister. What do I do now?' Harmony asked in mentation.
Dean and Sam entered the place, subsequently getting the details from the local sheriff. Just like the others they had come across.
"No attachment to the preliminary recipients, no enemies. The sole positive bond is that the victims were amiable and supportable to everyone."
The lads began their way of investigation. Dean raised the sheet up to view the demise, while Sam attempted to scan for clues.
This matron was comparable in so many ways with the others, like how they were slayed. Dean gazed to the lower position at her left leg whereas he suspected a huge piece was mislaid. It was oblivious that the girl bled from the separation of skin. There was no film near the body, like it was with the others!? What gives? Dean shook his head and requested.
"What's going on?"
"You tell me!?" Sam remarked, as he inspected the stack of parchment on the desk. The result was nothing.
"I realized something. This started when Harmony premier appeared."
Sam interpolated, as he read something with Harmony's name with notes by her name.
"You don't think she's-"
"Or the next target," mentioned Sam as he turned the paper for Dean to read what it said.
"Harmony isn't blonde!" Dean indicated.
"Something isn't adding up, we need to speak to her," Sam instructed.
Harmony carefully and quietly sneaked on Ally's property, which was so strange. Formerly, she has always been welcomed at her comrade's residence. Sadly, those days were gone. She glimpsed at the Impala and conceded the fellas were here. Harmony loves that car, just as much as Dean. Baby was simply beautiful.
Harmony told herself to focus, she had to warn her dudes. Clay didn't leave any bodies in the region they lived in. Or any witness for that matter. At distinctive venues what was stowed with the anatomy and a disk. Sometimes they were still alive when he tortured them. In each flick, he bragged on his so-called 'artwork' that he had done. She discerned his plans and what he did. Ensuingly, she accounted a little at ease, that both registered the monstrous eradicator. Sam commented that it sounded a bit paranormal and that he would explore it, too. She would imperative all of what they obtain to aid her in this mystery.
There was no one else, Harmony had to do this. She didn't want anyone else to get hurt or killed. She exposed her silver knife and stood in guard. Dean and Sam weren't the only ones that had weapons. In doing so, Harmony smirked at this.
Clay emerged any second and she wouldn't let nothing happen to them, because of her. Harmony inched closer inside. She checked the primitive two sections, with her dagger held high. There was no one there.
Suddenly, she heard some low mumbles in the succeeding room.
She quietly inhaled some air and exhaled. Thereupon, she approached, fearless. Harmony blinked rapidly to detect Sam and Dean unharmed.
"Harmony?" Sam and Dean blurted, both puzzled.
"Hi guys!"
"What are you doing here?"
"Well-Ally was a close friend of mine." Harmony replied and pointed with one of her blades to the chick concealed by a white sheet, and then interposed.
"She was going to assist me find my sister."
The boys exchanged worried facial demeanor with one another. It was confirmed that their guess was right. Harmony was indeed in trouble. They had to get her out of here and fast!
Before anyone could utter, they all heeded something.
