Beneath The Waves
Chapter: 7
Dean and Sam moaned from being unconscious so long. The bumps on the back of their skulls had started to throb.
"SAM?" Dean implored, as the world began to focus.
"Here, Dean!" Sam replied, softly.
"What happened?"
"Glad you lads could wake up and join us. It's been a boring three days hovering on you two to catch up on your beauty sleep." Clay said, acceding them being insomnolent, as he chewed on something. Thus, swallowed the bite.
Harmony longed that he choked on it! She wanted to destroy him for all he did. She felt queasy, angry and weak.
"Harmony?" Sam quizzed.
"Over here," she whispered.
In seconds, Dean and Sam recap what transpired. Dean observed Harmony's pale countenance and to the plate, where he witnessed fresh tiny bubbles of hemoglobin on the dish. At that moment, he realized what Clay had committed.
"You nasty son of a bitch!" Dean verbalized, disgusted.
Sam mocked Dean's maneuvers and probed.
"Harmony, are you okay?"
"Yeah. Sorta," Harmony answered.
"How could you do that? You won't get away with this!"
Clay Gray roared the room with laughter and expressed. "Of course I will. Just like I did with that!"
Thereupon, he eyed the ice box.
Harmony's expression was confused, and sadness consumed her.
Clay seized her face. In doing so, he got up and went to the freezer and unlatched it.
Harmony peeked into the icebox and gasped at the sight of her sister's lifeless body.
'Just like the others!' Dean contemplated.
"What did you do to her?" Dean ordered, impatiently.
Clay turned abruptly towards Sam and Dean.
"Not sure what others you are referring to," he disclosed in a smirk and continued. "So, I was minding my own business when this beautiful allurement crossed my path." Clay desisted stroking his fingertips on Harmony's sister's frozen blonde hair.
"ENOUGH! STOP TOUCHING HER!" Harmony thundered.
"Sugar, you're being rude!" Clay remarked, as the boys remained silent. Nonetheless, they deemed her pain. The murder proceeded with.
"I saw her caught in a fisherman's net, struggling to get untethered. I tried to aid her! Except she refused and asked if I would do the honor and ended her life. Since the hook was already too deep to-"
"LIES!" Harmony responded irritably, as she interrupted him. "It was more likely YOUR fishing net! You killed her! You didn't know her like I did. She would NOT say anything like that! Malie loved the sea, hated the land."
"Ahh! The sentiments of a big sister," Clay alleged in a twisted tongue.
"You damn right! You will pay for what you have done!" Harmony expressed, harshly.
Clay just shrugged the threat off and walked aside.
Harmony fought back the tears that formed. Her stomach sickened from the plasma loss. She watched as the droplets slowed their pace. She was pleased with that. If only the faintness wasn't there. Finally, with all her strength gathered, she beseeched.
"What are your plans for us? And Ally? We're not going anywhere."
Clay gave a wicked repulsive grin and then scrubbed his chin dryly.
"If you must know, since it doesn't matter. Sell her." Clay confessed, as he pointed to the cold locker.
"And for you, Sugar...I haven't yet decided. I sold...Ally to someone, who told me they could use her vital fluid. Oh, and for the two chuckle heads. Well, most likely an accidental demise perhaps in their future."
"Seriously!" Dean vocalized.
"You gotta be kidding me," Sam pronounced.
"That never does get old, does it?" Dean put forth, sarcastic.
"Sure doesn't," agreed Sam.
"Interesting." Clay implied, amused and was lost in his thoughts.
Hours passed, and Clay had received a cell phone call from Mr. V.
Afterwards, Clay recounted his guests the formulation.
"Well, I have some things to take care of. It's been a real blast. Make yourselves comfortable, talk among one another." Clay spoke and chortled. Next, he bolted behind a wall, where he vanished from view.
'There's the exit!' Harmony mentated.
"SON OF A BITCH!" Dean verbalized, irritated and shook his robust shackles.
"Yeah," Sam grunted.
"How do we get outta here?" Harmony challenged, yet curious. She tried to linger awake. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to-"
Dean glanced at Harmony. Yes, he was furious with her! In some ways he could relate to why she did it, though. He wished she had entrusted them with who the assassin was. It might have gone smoother than this.
"It's okay, Harmony. You had your reasons. We should have respected that." Sam stated, as he tried to free himself.
"Oh, come on!" Dean clamored, and was mad at everything. Especially the fact the knot wouldn't budge.
"Dean?!" Sam pleaded.
"Dean, Sam?! I think we both fooled one another. I understand you're all being private, trust me. I comprehended how you both aren't the actual FBI. You all are supernatural venators instead. I have heard of you before now. Nevertheless, I didn't ever fathom you fellas were slaying people who tagged along for kicks." Harmony asserted, as she registered what she just blurted.
"What?" Sam queried and added. "Yes, we are hunters. Despite that, not once did we eradicate someone just for the fun of it. This is the same trick that villain always pull on us. So, we cannot do our job, which is Hunting things, Saving people, and the Family business."
"We're not complete assholes...Honestly, we could have helped you and prevented this," Dean mentioned.
"DEAN!" Sam voiced.
"No, he's correct. I just hope you guys can forgive me for why I didn't say anything." Harmony announced.
"We do."
The quietness encircled them, Harmony tried to stay alert, while the Winchesters attempted to come up with something to escape the eerie location.
Subsequently, Dean requested Harmony the inevitable, which got her attention.
"Are you a siren?"
"A - What? Oh no! I don't associate with that kind of garbage."
Dean nodded, while Sam abided where his brother was taking this.
"I gotta ask...Was you ever gonna share your secret?" Dean inquired.
Harmony took in a breath and exhaled.
"I had intentions to tell you both. I was waiting for the precise opportunity. There were so many chances where I could have! It just in the end-words failed me. Because fear became my worst enemy. The dismay of your reaction. Humans tend to get a little ski-dish and judgment on things, or be fanatic- even hate what they encounter."
"We aren't original people," Dean indicated.
"Harmony, we deal with the paranormal on a daily basis, nothing you would have told us wouldn't surprise, freak, judge, or even make us hate you." Sam affirmed in affluence.
"I know that now," Harmony rejoined.
During the conversation, Dean had wiggled and loosen his hands from the bind. He was relieved to hear the breaking of the cord. Precedently, he veered to Sam's direction and retrieved the small knife from his boot. Dean briskly cut the rope that tied Sam's appendages together, liberating him as well.
"Not to doubt or anything Harmony…Um? How can you-?" Dean quizzed.
"Walk?" Harmony riposted, finishing his sentence. "Like this." She closed her optics, and a blue lightning aura surrounded her, as it disappeared it left her with legs.
"What the?" Dean exhorted, as Sam rubbed his wrists from the restraints.
"Long story. Anyways, could one of you please get me out of this!" Harmony begged, as she had sufficient of the smell of her blood, death and fish.
Sam rapidly scurried to unfasten her imprisonment. When he reached her ankles, his glazed fell upon her feet at the specific spot.
"Your foot?! That's where-" Sam exclaimed,
"Yes," Harmony muttered.
Directly, Dean stood near them. Instantly, he scooped Harmony in his arms for they both knew she was currently feeble.
For a split second, time ceased to exist. The memories flooded them both. Harmony smiled at Dean. She would always remember his scent of gunpowder smoke, gasoline, and old flannel. What a heavenly bliss!
Suddenly, Harmony emerged from her romanticized state, when she heeded those confabulations in a swift tone from Dean' s lips.
"Let's go!"
Harmony perceived she couldn't leave her sister, but would they? With everything that's occurred.
"HOLD UP!" Harmony shrieked, as she pushed to get down from the wonderful hold. Followed by her hopping to the refrigerator, where she averted and opened it
"Harmony?" Dean questioned.
