Beneath The Waves

Chapter: 9

Suddenly, a soul rose from the ripples. She was furious and drove enroute Clay plummeting him into the cold water; making it his sodden grave. Due to this, Harmony and Dean mimic glances.

Thereafter, the spirit emerged a second time. Yet, she had a friendly expression. Harmony and the Winchesters comprehend precisely who it was. Malie put her phantasm-like appendage on the net and rapidly dissolved it; like old rust melting laterally. In doing so, Harmony was released from the imprisonment and splashed into the depths.

Sam and Dean stood with befuddlement. They both stayed and peered as the specter shape presented herself.

Harmony abruptly scampered to the surface. Once she did, her focus abided on her sister. Malie spoke the formulation in a ghostly tone.

"Thank you, sis for everything."

With that Malie examined the sky and slowly pushed her way upwards, as she vanished forever.

"You're welcome!" Harmony replied in a murmur.

"You alright?" Dean inquisitioned.

"Yeah. Meet you chaps back at the shore!" Harmony disclosed, playful.

"Is that a challenge?" Dean questioned.

Harmony snickered and crashed into the water, which caused a humongous swash with her tail. In the effects, it had soaked Dean.

"Ah-Man!" Dean exclaimed, disappointed.

Sam pivoted his cranium to silently chuckle.

For some reason Dean conjectured Harmony fit in his life. The strange feeling occurred when Harmony entered into it. So many thoughts crossed his mind. Thereupon, a grin spread across his handsome features. He bolted to the 'borrow' ship, as he left Sam in wonderment.

"Let's go, Sammy!" Dean clamored.

When Sam arrived, Dean quickly put the vessel in gear, and floored it. In doing so, it made Sam lose his balance.

"DEAN?" Sam exhorted, unsure of his brother's intentions.

"Yeah?!" Dean riposted, while Sam shook his head at him.

The boat would smash each rolling ridge. Harmony would materialize and disappear beneath the waves.

At the shoreline, Harmony was expecting them. She saw Sam and Dean running towards her.

"You guys, okay? You ran like your essence depended on it?!" Harmony joked.

Dean and Sam gave her a stern sneer. Harmony half giggled and smiled. She moved her tail extensively within the wet sand and the shallow reservoir.

After the Winchesters had gathered themselves, Sam beseeched.

"Wasn't there something you wanted to tell us?"

"It wasn't a-um-rush ordeal. It could...I mean-" Harmony stuttered.

"Well, we are here now! So, what was it you were dying to tell us?" Dean remarked.

"Oh...That…" Harmony conveyed, as she stared groundward, and leered up.

"Well, it's like this…"

Harmony couldn't find the ethical words to verbalize, while Dean grew impatient.

"It's like what, exactly?" Dean demanded, puzzled.

"Dean, I'm pregnant!" Harmony spouted and shrouded her mouth with both of her hands.

"Um...Oh...Okay...Well, you'll make an excellent mother-"

"It's yours!" Harmony attested, as she interrupted him.

"WHAT?" Dean responded in shock.

"Are you sure? How do you know?" Sam inquired, curiously.

Silence filled the air. Harmony's cheeks flushed pink. Dean had been her premier. She apprehended he felt her barrier being stretched, for he asked her if she was okay when it eventuated. Some women screamed emphatically, except Harmony was infallibly good at hiding her agony.

Harmony wasn't sure what to utter next. The stillness had begun to worry her.

After Harmony concluded no was around, she transformed prior to her human legs. Instantly, Dean took off his flannel garment for her, to cloak with. She was paralyzed by the view of his bare chest.

"Thank you." Harmony cited, nervously.

Dean jounced and panic ascended inside him.

'Not again!' He mentated.

Hadn't he already gone down this road and did it not end up bloody?! Would this baby try to murder him? Just like Emma had?! Or would Harmony and the baby be in danger, like Lisa and Ben were? Internally, he cognized before she unveiled him that he was the father. Yes, he had forged the flaw of not using protection. Which wasn't like him, he was always prepared. Could it be possible that he actually desired to be a dad?

Dean intuited that something had been missing in his existence, was this it? With all the reflections rambling in his noggin, he said the following.

"Harmony, sorry there must be a mistake," Dean suggested.

Dean is desperate for her to envisage this. His intention was that he didn't have any inclination either of them in vulnerability, because of him.

"No, Dean! I'm expecting and I'm very certain you are the father!" Harmony hissed.

Sam remained serene and observed the two discussed forthcoming.

"How are you so decisive? It could be any- one's." Dean entreated, vexed.

Dean stopped on the account that he perceived, he veered too far.

Harmony's face reiteratively glowed red and with exasperation in her voice.

"I am sure… Because- YOU...WAS...MY…FIRST!"

Sam blinked and slightly twisted to get his attention somewhere else.

"Isn't it too soon to sense if you are?" Dean claimed.

"Try one week," Harmony indicated, sternly.

"Dean let's try and discuss this more rationally," Sam projected.

Dean glared at his brother, which in return the same semblance was exchanged.

"Look, this is getting us nowhere! I need to resolve something. I can't go...home."

"Why do you say that?" Sam requested.

"I-... was banished from there."

"Banished?!" Sam and Dean both vocalized.

"The Council accused me of killing my sister. When I told them who was behind it, they waved it off as it was nothing. So, I persisted and doing so led me to be exiled. It is forbidden to speak of land dwellers especially, Clay Gray. They divulged the empire that I fancy being the precedently princess. I don't... I just hanker to be-"

"Free," Sam finished for her.

"Yes."

"Whoa! Just a minute...A princess?" Dean quizzed, astonished.

"Wasn't there a trial?" Sam queried.

"An arrangement in our turf is much different than the term you all use it as here on land. The committee is strict in various ways. People get the royalty of under the sea all wrong. It's not all lollipops and rainbows. Laws are to be obeyed. Just like some hominids, dislike and disgusted with Mermaids it's vice versa too. They are some Mer-folks that have those feelings with mortals. The Queen, my mother, had to take precautions for her people's safety and most of all, peace among the realm."

"That's not right!" Sam declared.

"I agree. Something had to be done. I knew the consequences. It pained my mother to do what she had to. She tried to rationalize with the assembly, however they wouldn't have it. If they allow an inch, they would have to for the future cases. The results of these might not cessate well. It was an understanding concept. I remembered hugging my mother, and the whisper she spoke in my ear. There was sadness in her eyes as she watched my departure, forever. My mother is the strongest, kindest, respectful and caring person. I can still hear my other sisters shrieking to me, "Don't go!" The expulsion was a sort of a protection for both me and the kingdom. The regime could have selected death, which they still could choose. My actions going after Clay was something to be proven to them. That I had no ties in eradicating my sister. Besides, my world should never be revealed to earthlings whereas it only creates greed and hate."

"What about your father?" Sam implored.

"Died by a fisherman's hook. The poor man didn't mean to. It was an accident. The King went to search for my youngest sister, Malaya-when it happened."

Dean glimpsed over at Sam where he expressed.

"I am so sorry for your loss."

"Thanks Sam," Harmony commented.

Then, she exhibited her briny crafted golden shiny jeweled blade.

"WHOA! That's nice!" Dean implied, surprised.

Harmony beamed at the elder Winchester's dialog.

"At birth a chosen warrior is decided. As the child gets older, they are trained to become a fighter, a hunter, a gladiator. As you can see, I am one of them. It's something you boys and I can relate to." Harmony mentioned as she twirled the dagger around, before she put it away.

The Winchesters nodded as they listened at the information she had given. Harmony realized that this was all too much, not just for them, but for her. What she spoke of was the beginning and she needed time…To think. She had to leave to get some space.

"I apologize. This is too much. I gotta go!" Harmony confessed, speedily.

At that point, she steered to the moana and dived in, and converted into a mermaid. Harmony didn't heed the pleading shouts toward her, given that she was already chasmic in the whitecaps.

"NOOOO!" Dean yelled, vigorously.

'What was she so afraid of? Why the hurry? What did she mean it was too much?' Dean ruminated.

The gentlemen had run after her into the cool liquid, their pants drenched, which didn't bother them.

Lastly, displayed was the shirt floating on top, the one that Dean had given her for a cover up.
