Pacifica breathed out in relief, lying comfortably on a soft bed as a single sun ray covered one of her eyes, prompting her to open them. The room she was in wasn't dark per se, but it was bathed in shadows because the triangle window curtains were closed. She knew where she was. After all, how could she possibly forget what happened yesterday? It was, without a doubt, the best night of her life.

"Finally awake?" The one who made it the best night of her life, Dipper, asked with a small smile. The boy was there, too, lying by her side. However, he was dressed, unlike her. Indeed, the blonde was still naked, her chest bare and uncovered by the sheets while her dress and underwear, along with the high-heels, lay on the floor by the bed.

"What time is it?" Pacifica inquired, rubbing her eyes. Unfortunately, today she had to go to work.

"7 o'clock," Dipper replied, which made the blonde softly groan. She needed to be at the Greasy's Diner at 8 o'clock. It wouldn't have been a problem if she was home, but she needed breakfast, change at her house, and shower.

"I should get home, or else I'll be late for work," She sighed, not moving from the bed.

"You look really enthusiastic about it," Dipper chuckled. His laugh did bring a smile to her face.

"I would have loved to spend the day with you, so it's annoying that I have to leave quickly," She explained. Dipper, clearly less shy than usual, simply placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"I'm sure Susan won't mind if you're half an hour late. You can take your shower and have breakfast here if you want to. I also got you some of Mabel's clothes, that way you won't have to walk around in a dress," Dipper reassured her, gesturing to a skirt and sweater exposed on a nearby chair.

"I don't want to intrude," Pacifica muttered hesitantly.

"You wouldn't. Really, I'll be super glad to help. Plus, it's better to get the questioning from Mabel out of the way now rather than have her bother us with it later," He explained, rolling his eyes as he already imagined all Mabel's teasing. Nevertheless, it likely wouldn't be as effective as it usually was thanks to his newfound confidence, as well as the fact that he couldn't deny anything. He had sex with Pacifica Northwest, which went much farther than the kisses Mabel probably imagined.

"Well, if you say so, I won't refuse," The blonde smiled before wrapping her arms around Dipper's neck and pressing her boobs against his chest. "I have such a considerate boyfriend," She kissed him on the cheek, making the boy blush.

"Is… That what we are?" He asked, hesitant. He didn't give it a thought yesterday, to be honest. Pacifica backed away, looking nervous.

"If that's what you want to," She muttered in a soft voice. Dipper stayed silent, staring at the blonde before focusing on her eyes. Every moment he spent with her was just flashing back into his mind.

"Of course, I do!" He responded. How could he not? Having her as a girlfriend would be an honor! Yet, there was something deep inside of him that remained unsatisfied. "I like you a lot, Pacifica. I'm just still surprised you even had a thing for me," He admitted.

"You shouldn't be, really. It was pretty much obvious for everyone, so much so that it always got me embarrassed when Mabel figured me out so easily," Pacifica blushed, looking down for a moment before raising her eyes back to her boyfriend. "You're a great guy, Dipper," She complimented him with a warm and sincere smile.

"Thanks," The vampire scratched the back of his head sheepishly as he sat up.

"There won't be any problem with the other vampire guys if we're dating, right?" The blonde questioned worriedly, sitting up, too. Since she revealed even more of her bare body, the brown-haired vampire had a hard time keeping his eyes on her face.

"There shouldn't be. The slave or harem thing is only if I decide to make you a vampire," He responded, making his girlfriend blush as she was reminded of the harem. "I'm allowed to reveal my nature to a select few people, but only if I'm already someone they trust. As a newbie, I shouldn't even be allowed to tell my own family. it's best if the clan isn't aware of it. They won't have complete trust in you or anyone else who knows I'm a vampire to keep this a secret. The more people know about vampires, the more dangerous it gets for them," He explained. Frankly, Pacifica didn't want to test his clan, so she believed him. She didn't want to risk having a group of vampires stalking her to make sure she was quiet.

"I… don't know if that's good to know or not, but as long as you're with me, I know I'll be safe," She smiled at him, fully confident about his capabilities. "You've always been resourceful,"

"Wow, I didn't know you trusted me so much, Pacifica," Dipper blushed, genuinely touched by her vote of confidence. Most of the time, his family and Wendy were the ones to tell him such things, so it was nice to hear it from someone else's mouth. "Thank you," He nodded.

"You're welcome," Pacifica grinned, then wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss, connecting their lips together. While surprised at first, Dipper didn't fight back and only kissed her back. Unfortunately, before there could be any tongue-play, the blonde pulled back. "You know… Now that we're dating, you can give me a pet name," She whispered. Mabel and the others occasionally called her 'Paz' as a nickname, but she would prefer if Dipper found a nickname just for her, and only he would use it.

"I'll think about one," Dipper muttered back, feeling his dick slightly getting harder in his boxers after that kiss.

"Great! I'll have my shower now if it's no issue," Pacifica climbed off the bed and stood up, showing her boyfriend all her curves again. She took great joy in seeing his eyes wandering all over her body with lust but now wasn't the time. Even if they both only had their first time yesterday, they both gained more daring tendencies. "I would offer you to join me, but I really need to hurry if I don't want to be too late for work," She stated with a suggestive pose, emphasizing her butt.

"It's… Alright, I need to tell Mabel to make you breakfast for you too anyway," Dipper replied after finally tearing his eyes off her ass.

Having obviously noticed that Pacifica simply snickered in response.

Unsurprisingly, Mabel teased him a lot once Dipper talked to her after he came out of his room. Her teasing was incessant and annoying, but he handled it like a champ for once. Moreover, his twin sister was more than happy to make breakfast for him and Pacifica since she enjoyed cooking, but also because she loved cooking for a new couple as a form of celebration of her matchmaking skills. She didn't help make this relationship come true at all, honestly, however, she also said multiple times they would fit together, so he supposed she still had something to celebrate.

It was a win for Dipper, too, since every time he dated someone, she would stop teasing him about other girls he was talking with. He knew for sure she wouldn't joke about his crush on Wendy anymore. Wendy… He wondered how she would react… She never had any particular reactions when he dated some girls before, so he didn't think she would have any now. He was not that popular with the ladies, so he didn't expect her to get jealous or anything. She didn't feel a thing for him.

"Thanks for the pancakes, Mabel," Pacifica thanked his sister as she took another bite of the pancakes covered in maple syrup Mabel cooked while the blonde showered. Since Dipper was used to eating his sister's food, he often forgot how good she got at cooking. Sure, those were only pancakes, but she never burned or undercooked anything anymore.

The three of them were in the kitchen, which was actually renovated to allow more space and a larger table since Soos and Melody would be having a child and were planning on having more later on.

"You're welcome. I'm just super happy to know I'm the first one you guys told about your relationship!" Mabel exclaimed, feeling honored. Of course, she had been wishing for the two of them to get together for a long time, and it finally happened! "What I wanna know now is… How your night went. Hn? So? How was it? Did you two do anything? You slept in the same room… And Paz didn't have pajamas," Mabel wiggled her eyebrows suggestively, grinning ear to ear. The blonde blushed in embarrassment while her boyfriend facepalmed.

"Mabel… Do you really want us to talk about that? Now? Here?" Her brother retorted as he gestured around them. On the other end of the table, they were sitting at were Soos, Abuelita, and Melody, eating their own pancakes and awkwardly staring at them in silence.

"We can, hm, pretend we're not there?" Melody suggested awkwardly.

Mabel rubbed her chin with a pensive look before nodding to her brother.

"Good point," She conceded, then went back to her pancakes.

"Anyway, I'm happy for you, dude," Soos congratulated Dipper.

"Thanks, Soos," The vampire nodded gratefully. At least, he could count on Soos to dash away the awkward moments.

"Let's hope this one doesn't end in disaster," The older man snickered, making Dipper deadpan. Soos meant well, and wasn't wrong since the boy's previous relationships didn't have happy endings, but did he need to bring that up, now?!

"Thanks, Soos. Really," Dipper replied with a light glare.

"Thanks for the breakfast and the clothes, but I should go home and change. My butler's waiting in the car outside," Pacifica said as she suddenly stood up, and grabbed the plastic bag where her dress was.

"Susan really wouldn't have minded if you were late," Dipper reminded her, standing up after her.

"I know, but still. I hate being late," Pacifica replied before placing a hand on his shoulder and kissing him on the lips.

"Aw, you two are so cute!" Mabel exclaimed in a mellow voice. Dipper and Pacifica rolled their eyes but didn't mind the comment. They just took the compliment.

"You can come to the Greasy's Diner for lunch if you both want to," The blonde offered with a smile.

"I'd love to!" Her boyfriend replied.

"Can we eat for free?" His sister swiftly interjected excitedly.

"Sorry, Mabel, but you two will have to pay like anyone else!" Pacifica shrugged in amusement, then leaned toward Dipper. "Although, I wouldn't mind getting some unique additional payment from you, Dipper," She whispered sensually. The vampire shook his head, surprised at how bold she suddenly was as the blonde stepped back with a smirk and winked at him. "Well, I'll be going. See you later," She waved.

"Bye-bye!" Mabel waved back with a wide smile.

"I'll walk you to the door, at least," Dipper offered as he followed Pacifica. "I've got to do something quickly in the forest too, by the way, Mabel, just so you know," He added to his sister who gave him an acknowledging nod. The boy put the hood of his hoodie up to cover himself as he approached the door leading to the outside.

Once they were at the door, the vampire could see the butler standing near Pacifica's car several feet away from the Shack, waiting for the blonde. Pacifica turned to face her boyfriend one last time and hugged him.

"Again, thank you for everything, Dipper. It was easily the best evening, and… night of my life," She whispered with reddened cheeks.

"It was for me, too," The boy admitted before they broke their hug. "I'll see you at the Greasy's Diner,"

They said their goodbyes again before Pacifica left. Dipper remained alone with his thoughts as he ventured to the forest. It was still hard for him to conceive that he was dating Pacifica now. He never really imagined doing it before, even if he always thought she was attractive. Even though they started this relationship well in his opinion since she knew his true nature, and they slept together on the first date without either one of them regretting it the morning after, he could ignore the fears he had. He was afraid it wouldn't last. Not just because of the life-threatening situations they could face, but also because of the regular problems of life. This was how his past relationships, even if they were few in number, failed. He wished to stay optimistic, yet he had always been more of a realist in his family.

He was also afraid that his past stupid crush on Wendy would ruin this relationship, too. Even now, even after everything that happened, the redhead still held a firm grasp on his mind and frequently invaded his dreams. He couldn't forget the attraction he felt toward her to this day. Like a curse, it wouldn't leave him be, and a part of him still didn't want to forget. Unfortunately, it wasn't getting any better now that he even got wet dreams about Tambry, too. If it weren't for the fact that they defeated Bill, he would have been sure he was the culprit. He wouldn't shift the blame, though. The dream demon wouldn't have tormented him like this, he would have been much crueler.

You would think he wouldn't have any bigger issues than these, but that would be wrong. How could he forget about the latest threat he needed to face?

After walking for several minutes, he stopped under a tree. Now that he was in the shade, he pulled his hood down and glared forward tiredly.

"Hey. Long time no see. It's been 3 years," Dipper greeted weakly. He looked down for a brief moment, unsure of what he was even doing, but this wasn't the first time. This was something he wanted to forget about, too. "I thought if there was anything positive to staying away from Gravity Falls for 3 years, it would be that I could get some time away from you and stop having meetings here. Guess I was wrong… Bill,"

Bathed in sunlight, unprotected by the trees, a statue stood halfway buried in the ground, moss creeping over some of its parts. Bill Cipher, now petrified in stone, lingered here even five years after Weirdmageddon. The demon's hand remained outstretched as if beckoning someone to shake it and make a deal. You knew that thing was vile when even Stan warned Soos against making it an attraction for tourists.

Ever since the end of Weirdmageddon, he had been meeting with Bill's statue every summer he spent in Gravity Falls. He didn't do anything grandiose. He just talked. Dipper didn't know if some remnants of Bill still lingered here and the demon heard everything, or if his soul was truly destroyed. Dipper wasn't here because he wanted someone to listen to him, and certainly not Bill.

However, he needed to talk. To sort things out, even if he only talked to himself. Moreover, it helped alleviate his mind sometimes. Gazing upon Bill's corpse helped. He didn't know if this was some coping mechanism or something, and he never tried to figure it out.

The demon didn't kill anyone he loved or physically scarred him. People would think Dipper had no reason to feel any trauma. Nevertheless, Bill's laughter still resounded sometimes in his dreams. The boy would look around, and he would see something random with a triangular shape… His eyes would always linger on it as if he expected it to come to life. He still had nightmares of Bill taking over his body and using it as a puppet. He would never forget him.

"A lot happened. My life wasn't all that great for these past years, still better than it was before I came here for the first time, though," Dipper shrugged. At least, he wasn't getting bullied. After everything, no bully would scare him anyway. "I'm dating Pacifica now, bet you'd be really mad that she makes me happy," The boy chuckled.

"Wish it was all fun, though. Even when you aren't around anymore, someone finds a way to mess with my family and me. This time, it's a whole bunch of vampires. Now that would probably make you happy, wouldn't it?" He asked bitterly. Indeed, the demon enjoyed suffering. "I'm a vampire too, now. I'm hoping to find a cure, but… Yeah, I don't have much hope," Dipper grumbled, staring at the statue, which remained immobile. The more he looked at it, the angrier he got. A part of him was still paranoid, wondering if this was somehow Bill's scheme, fucking him over even from the afterlife. Thinking about it would only make it worse. "Screw it," He hissed under his breath before turning around to walk away.

However, before he could put his hood back on; a voice stopped him in his tracks.

"What do we have here? Talking to statues, now?" The masculine voice questioned mockingly. Dipper sharply turned around, already recognizing who it was. It was Max, wearing his usual attire with a large coat on top to hide himself better from the sun. The punk was carelessly sitting on Bill's statue, his butt on the demon's top hat.

"Max? What are you doing here?!" Dipper asked apprehensively, taken back and ignoring the other vampire's question. Naturally, he was weary since no other member of his clan was supposed to be there.

"I should be asking you that," Max retorted, snickering. "I've been looking for you. I didn't expect you'd be talking to rocks in a forest,"

"Joseph knows I'm here. I told him I was spending the summer in Gravity Falls," Dipper reminded him with a glare, which Max took note of.

"Now calm down, dweeb. Why are you on the defensive like that," He raised an eyebrow along with a smirk. "But yeah, he did allow it. Doesn't mean I can't be curious, though," He shrugged. "I can also smell you've turned into a Full Fledged Vampire. Congrats. Must have taken a dozen feedings," He chuckled mockingly.

"I'm just enjoying summer vacation with my family and friends," Dipper responded wearily.

"It's not that simple," Max scoffed, shaking his head. "You have conditions, don't you remember? You're not allowed to leave Gravity Falls' vicinity unless it's to go back home," He reminded the boy. Of course, Dipper remembered, and he was still respecting those conditions since the forest was in Gravity Falls' vicinity. "Do you know why?"

"No…" Dipper shook his head. He honestly didn't know. Joseph didn't reveal anything, and simply told him he didn't need to know since he would be respecting the conditions anyway.

"There are 9 Vampire Lords in the world. They all have vast territories, basically sharing the whole planet. Those major clans can allow smaller clans to settle in their territories under some conditions, but no Vampire Lord or their followers can trespass in another Vampire Lord's territory," Max explained, his leg hanging off in the air as he swung it back and forth. "Our boss rules over the lower half of the US, and Mexico. On the other hand, there is another Vampire Lord who rules over the upper half of the US, Canada, and the rest of North America. Do you know where this Vampire Lord's territory starts? Which states lie at its borders," He asked.

"I-I don't know," Dipper shrugged, wondering where he was going with this. At least, he knew how many Vampire Lords there were.

"The states you'd be interested in are Oregon and California," Max revealed, making Dipper's eyes widen. "Yeah, California belongs to Joseph, while Oregon belongs to another Vampire Lord. We should be in enemy territory," He declared. The other vampire's back shivered. What? But why was he allowed there, then? It didn't make sense? Instantly, he feared for his friends and family who could get caught in the crossfire if he was attacked. "But… for some reason… This town is neutral ground,"

"Huh?" Dipper uttered.

"It's weird, right? This pitiful town doesn't belong to anyone. Now sure, most vampires don't want useless territories, so they'll leave deserted places alone as neutral grounds, but this is right inside someone's land… Yet, they don't own it," Max tapped on his leg. "For some reason, they don't want it. Joseph doesn't either. Actually, no Vampire Lord is interested in this place. Even before the town was built, this zone specifically in Oregon had never been owned by any Vampire Lord… And no one knows why… The current Lords don't anyway from what the boss told me. He just said it has always been and will remain that way. Must be special, huh? Isn't the mystery exciting?" Max inquired, smirking. "This is why you're allowed here. Nonetheless, I'm here to make sure you don't do anything stupid,"

"To spy on me?" Dipper questioned with clenched fists.

"Call it whatever you want. Joseph said newbies were prone to making mistakes and dumb decisions. I'm here to warn and watch over what you're doing. It's that simple," Max jumped off Bill's statue. "You should be happy, you know. With me here, you'll be safer," He chuckled. "You wouldn't have even known you were so close to another vampire's territory if it weren't for me," He added as he walked past Dipper.

"Oh, I'm so grateful," Dipper sarcastically commented before turning around, only to see Max already vanished. The boy sighed.

This was just great. Really great. Of course, he wouldn't left alone! At least, the positive thing was that he knew he was watched now. He needed to be even more careful when speaking to Pacifica about his secret because he didn't want to imagine what Max would do if he found out. Dipper would probably have to fight him without the help of his great-uncles. Damn it, why did they have to arrive only next week? He needed guidance now! He was talking to a statue for God's sake!

As if God himself heard his prayer, Dipper's phone suddenly rang. The teen sighed as he took it out of his pocket, wondering who it could be. Doubted it was Jake since the other teen hardly called anyone. To his surprise and relief, it was Grunckle Ford! Looking around, he made sure Max was actually gone, then picked up the call.

"Grunckle Ford!" He immediately greeted with excitement. "You found some signal?"

"It's good to hear from you, Dipper! Yes, I had some for a few days actually, but we didn't call because we wanted to keep the surprise," Ford responded on the other end, sounding as enthusiastic as his nephew.

"The surprise?" Dipper cocked an eyebrow.

"We finished things up in the Bermuda Triangle quicker than expected, so we're coming home early. We're already in America, and should reach Gravity Falls in about three days," Ford revealed.

Dipper's heart nearly jumped out of his heart. He was genuinely about to cry at the revelation. Sure, they were always planning on coming, but the fact that they would be there early was so comforting. Moreover, he also deeply missed them. They were the closest family he and Mabel had apart from their parents, so it was only natural. Whenever they were with their Grunckles, they felt like they could fight against anything, and they weren't exactly wrong since they defeated Bill Cipher together.

"Oh, Grunckle Ford, you can't believe how happy I am to hear that," Dipper breathed out in relief, his voice almost shaky. Of course, the older man instantly noticed it.

"Are you okay, Dipper? You sound a bit off," Ford remarked worriedly.

"No, it's… It's alright. Mabel and I just missed you both, that's all," Dipper replied nervously. "But we'll have a lot to talk about once you two come back," He added. That was the understatement of the century.

"Oh, okay. If you say so," Ford responded, not fully convinced.

"Are you and Grunckle Stan doing okay?" The teen changed the subject.

"We hadn't ended up in jail even once, so we're doing pretty good," Ford laughed. Even now, Stan was still quite prone to scamming people. Thankfully, his trip around the world with Ford was mostly enough to keep him away from doing it.

"That's great, I can't wait to see you two,"

"Stan, especially, will be happy. He's been planning something for you and Mabel," His Grunckle revealed.

"What is it?" Dipper asked with curiosity.

"Now that's something you'll have to wait and see. He wants to show it to you himself," He replied. There was one thing his response revealed at least, the surprise was a tangible thing.

"I guess I'll wait then," The vampire teen shrugged, not too bothered by the secrecy. Coming from Stan, the surprise could be anything, so he didn't expect anything in particular. "Did you find anything interesting on your trip,"

"Oh, you wouldn't believe it," Ford retorted as he began recounting their most recent journey.

The young vampire simply sat down in the shade and listened, slowly forgetting his earlier troubles in favor of Ford's voice guiding him to happier times.
