Chapter 37

Meanwhile…

Rook woke up with a stretch, and yet the usual company. Peering about at his bed, the five siblings have decided to move in and take over. He sighed aloud since normally, they should be staying with the parents, but due to the situation going on it was the next best thing. He couldn't refuse them of course, they need to feel secure and have a place to stay and sleep. If not, it would be trouble finding them.

Yawn! "Morning Rook!" said Saitama.

The other four followed with a yawn and morning greeting.

"Morning sprats. How about some breakfast?"

They nodded with excitement, but paused. "Rook… can… can you make sure…" Saitama began to ask.

He sighed but nodded to them. Rook went downstairs first and found Pops was in the kitchen. Shin just walked out the door and Mochi was already out with Hoshi. "Okay! Come on down!" he called.

Pops peered at him oddly until the five made their way to the table. He smiled and got everyone fed, just as mom came down the stairs. She froze to the five at the table, they all looked away from her and didn't say a thing.

Rook wanted to speak until a knock came to the door, just in time in his mind. His mother answered it but paused to see Yuuji and Suiryu before her. "Hey Yua, sorry to bug you, but we got a situation with Ryoto…" Yuuji explained gently.

Suiryu who happened to mention offhandedly to the problem at hand.

"Ryoto… isn't five anymore."

She nodded and excused herself from the house. Rook sighed aloud to it as he peered at the siblings once more. "Excuse me for a moment…" he couldn't understand it, but he had to leave the room for a moment to clear his head…

'Why do I always clean up after him?'

Suguru was rather conflicted at the moment. The children born were certain they want nothing to do with their parents. And yet, they are more than willing to listen to him and their older siblings. Who leads them in this is none other than Saitama.

Anything he says, his siblings will agree with automatically.

It's been rather difficult to explain to them that what had happened in not the fault of their mother. Saitama however stated 'If mom was really looking after and watching father, we wouldn't be like this… I WOULDN'T be like this!"

Despite how young he is, he is far more mature than he appears.

Suguru also understood him too. He endured hell for his siblings since Satoru refused to eat properly for them.

"I know you are upset, but I assure you, your mother was doing everything she could." Suguru said gently.

No one believed him.

"Why are you not angry with me?" he asked curiously. "I am also your father… in fact, two of you are mine, correct?"

There was a single girl and a boy who bared his resemblance strongly! There was no denying that… which only made him even angrier to know that Satoru but HIS children's lives in danger as well.

"You tended to us, we know you did. Aniki knew it too, but mom tend to father… you were tending to our older siblings." Said his son.

"We have yet to give everyone else a name, have we?" he muttered, realizing Saitama is the only one with a name at the moment.

There were two girls and two boys that still needed a name. "Will you name them then?" Saitama asked. "You should, we trust you."

Suguru sighed. "I don't think…"

"Go ahead"

He paused as Rook came out of hiding, he peered at his siblings and nodded to him. "Do it Pops, they won't respond to a name if mom or dad gave them one." he explained.

Suguru nodded, but noticed that look on Rook's face. "Are you planning something?"

He shrugged carelessly and left. Saitama was staring at Rook with admiration. "Older brother is really, really strong. Isn't he?"

Suguru nodded. "Exceptionally."

"I want to be like older brother…"

"And you will, Rook will be more than happy to help you get stronger, everyone here will help too, me as well"

They nodded to this. "Can my siblings get a name now?"

Suguru nodded and thought about it. "Those who are mine, I would like to name you Yamato and your sister… Okimi."

He waited to see their reaction. They turned to Saitama who nodded. "Okay! We like them!" they decreed.

"Now for you two…" the other two were Satoru's. He considered their names and yet he felt terrible for having to do this behind Yua's back. "For the young man… Hotaru and the young lady, Rai, do those sound good?"

They didn't turn to Saitama for approval, they agreed instantly.

"Now that we have names settled, how about we go outside for a walk, and get some fresh air, yes?" he asked.

Saitama shied away. His siblings want to go outside, but they refuse to leave him alone. It broke Suguru's heart to see a child like this.

"Then how about we play behind the house?" he asked. No one really walks behind the homes so it would be good for Saitama to have some privacy. He agreed to that.

They were about to do so, when suddenly, there was a great pressure in the air. The wind suddenly whipped up and then… stopped.

But, Suguru froze.

"I smell blood…" he whispered.
