Chapter 4

Hannibal's old friend Amy Allen called Hannibal and let him know what she'd found out about Heinrich Werner. It turned out she was already in London, covering rumors of the possible peace talks. She was a good journalist to have learned of this, hopefully she would have some intel on Werner.

Amy: In addition to his past war crimes and current arms dealing, he's also a sexual predator. He's raped at least six women since he arrived in London. I say at least six because that's how many women tried to press charges against him. Five of those women recanted after being paid a visit by a local group of neo-nazies. And the other girl, disappeared. London police don't know about his past crimes but they have been trying, unsuccessfully, to charge him with that murder.
Hannibal: Wonder why Stockwell left this out.
Amy: I have some theories on that one. But in the meantime I have already on the headquarters of the neo-nazies.

Acting on Amy's intel BA paid these neo-nazies a visit. It was a bar with a swastika out front and a sign that said "Whites only." British law prohibited bars from denying service to people based on race, but thus far no one had interfered, most people seeking a beer were too scared to try and test this law. But BA was looking to start trouble. The people here seemed shocked that a black man would just walk right up to the bartender and order a drink. He acted completely polite and non-threatening. BA noticed that the television in the bar was playing the news. This made BA somewhat nervous, what were these fools expecting to see on the news today?

BA: Hello sir. May I please order a milk?
Bartender: Maybe you can't read too good boy so I'll spell it out for you. The sign outside says "Whites only."
BA: I can read just fine. But British law prohibits such discrimination.
Bartender: Get the hell out.
BA: I don't want any trouble, I just want some milk.

It wasn't long before the racist thugs attacked BA, and then he beat them up. BA had some help of course, from his own team, Sarah's team, and Dimitri's team. Hannibal questioned the bartender.

Hannibal: Which one of your idiot customers bragged about killing for Heinrich Werner?
Bartender: He's not here, said he and the others still had some work to do.
Hannibal: Such as?
Bartender: Making certain that the Jews and the Arabs keep killing each other. Thinning out their ranks until that great day of the rope, where we'll wipe them all out.
Hannibal: So they're targeting the peace talks, when exactly?
Bartender: He said to stay away from the Cadogan Gardens today, and to watch the news.
Hannibal: So it happens today, great.
