Lake Going, But With A Mistake

Some days later, the three friends had once again met up with each other. It was another sunny day. "All right," Cheese Sandwich said, "Now that we're all here again." Well," Sideburn said, "That is obvious." "Yes, I see," Cheese Sandwich said, "And I'd apologize for the other day."

"Maybe next time we think before we act," Snowdon suggested. "I'd go with that, Sideburn said in agreement. They were still thinking about the horrible noise they've heard while in that cave. Days had passed and they were still thinking about it. "Well," Snowdon finally said, "Let's try and think about something else this time."

"You're right," Cheese Sandwich agreed, "So let's think about it." "We are!" Snowdon said out loud, "Come on! Is that all we are going to do these days?!" "Well, you are right about that," Cheese Sandwich admitted, "So what about that lake?"

"What?!" Snowdon exclaimed. "We could do that," Sideburn replied reluctantly. "Then lets go!" Cheese Sandwich said excitedly.

Soon enough, they've arrived at a small lake. "So, now what?" Snowdon asked. The three then saw a small rowboat nearby. Cheese Sandwich had already the idea to borrow it and take it out in the middle of the lake. "Uh, I'm not so sure about this," Snowdon said.

"Don't worry about it," Cheese Sandwich said in a reassuring voice, "No pony would notice." So they 'borrowed' the rowboat and took it out to the middle of the lake. "Now what?" Snowdon asked.

"I don't know," Cheese Sandwich answered. "Oh, brother," Snowdon groaned. "Maybe there is something out here after all," Sideburn replied. But they could find nothing. "Well," Snowdon said, starting to get annoyed, "What's out here?" "Actually," Cheese Sandwich said, "Nothing." This had annoyed Snowdon.

With nothing else to do, they've returned to the shore an hour later, they ran into a problem. "You kids!" an angry pony shouted, "Give me back my boat!" "Well," Cheese Sandwich said, "There's a funny story about that." The angry pony then got out a chainsaw.

"Get off of my property!" he shouted swinging the chainsaw around like a maniac. "We're out of here!" Cheese Sandwich exclaimed, grabbing both Sideburn and Snowdon and darting away like lightning.

"That's the last time I'd borrow something from a grouch like him!" Cheese Sandwich exclaimed. "And that's the last time I'm listening to you!" Snowdon shouted.

The three friends got away safely, deciding to be more careful next time.

Nearby, a pony named Ol' Stanley watched the whole incident.

"Maybe some ponies aren't that well appreciated," he said, "And that wasn't really his boat in the first place. But the chainsaw?"
