(Living room area)
Not long after having their sister only family meeting, the Loud sisters called their brother, mother, and followed you to discuss what they had planned for Lincoln. The white haired middle child in question was extremely nervous, wondering what years of service he would have to do to his sister's in order to pay back all the money he owes each and every single one of them.
"So, what's this family meeting about?"inquired Rita, wondering what her daughters wanted.
"Well mom, as you know, Lincoln borrowed a lot of money from each and every single one of us in order to get toys for that David Steele thing he's into."spoke Lori, causing the Loud parents to look over at Lincoln.
"And how does he plan to pay you back?"inquired Lynn Sr, wondering how his only son was planning to pay back his 10 daughters.
Even if he saved up his allowance, it would take him a long time to pay each and every single one of them back!
"Well... we came up with a solution that would allow Lincoln to pay us back in a short amount of time."said Luna, making Lincoln smile.
"Really? What is it?"inquired Lincoln, because at this point he was willing to do anything just to not owe his sister's money, especially Lola!
"I have a colleague who lives near the Hawaiian Islands who needs a research assistant. He said that assistant will be paid quite a good amount of money. Now I would normally go myself, but I have commitments here in Royal Woods. So, Lincoln, do you get what I'm trying to say?"inquired Lisa, wondering if her brother was understanding what she was getting at.
"You... you want to send me away so I can pay you guys all back?"inquire Lincoln, who couldn't believe what his sisters are suggesting.
"Now it's not such a bad deal, Linc. You owe us a lot of money, and you don't want to be our servant until you graduate from high school, do you? Or do you have any other method to pay us back the money you owe us?"inquired Luan, making Lincoln ponder on this.
'She has a good point... I don't have any method I can think of to pay back each of my sisters the money I owe them. And maybe being a research assistant for some guy I don't know doesn't have to be all that bad. I mean I'm one hand it's one of Lisa's colleagues, but on the other, Lola's wrath...'thought Lincoln, wondering what the heck he was going to do.
"Now I'm sure there's a way to get all your money back without sending Lincoln to the other side of the world."said Rita, until Lily pulled out the I.O.U that Lincoln signed to each and every single one of his sisters.
Both loud parents looked at the I.O.U, and their eyes grew as wide as saucers as soon as they saw the amount of money their son owed to their daughters.
"Holy moley, that is a lot of money."said Rita, who couldn't believe that her son spent so much money on toys.
"I really did have a bad habit."said Lincoln, admitting that he borrowed all of that money.
"Lincoln, what on Earth were you thinking?"inquired Lynn Sr, wondering what his son was thinking.
"I... I have no excuse..."said Lincoln, admitting he didn't have an excuse for borrowing all of that money.
"Lincoln, can't you resell the toys and pay back your sisters?"inquired Lynn Sr.
"I already tried that, but because they're out of the box, they're not worth as much as when they were in the box."admitted Lincoln, revealing that he tried that route, but it ended in failure.
"Ohhh..."said Rita, realizing that this was a bad situation.
Lincoln owed all 10 of his sisters money, and he had no way to pay him back. She was contemplating on making Lincoln getting a part-time job, but even with a part-time job, it would take him a long time to pay back all the money he owed.
Lincoln was thinking pretty much the same thing, so with much thought put into this, he decided to make an ultimate decision.
"I'll go with your colleague and be his research assistant for money..."said Lincoln, deciding to give in to his sisters demands as he saw no other way to pay them back in a short amount of time.
He knew better than anyone he couldn't beg them to let the debt go, as it was a lot of money. And he was afraid what Lola and Lynn would do to him if he even tried to weasel his way out of it. So, to ensure his survival, he decided to meet their demands and agree to go to the other side of the world so he could pay them back.
"Lincoln, are you sure this is a good idea?"inquired Lynn Sr, wondering if his son was really sure about this.
"Mom, Dad, you told me if I did it wrong, I have to do everything in my power to write that wrong. I shouldn't have borrowed so much money from my sister's without any surefire plan to pay them back, and now that they're giving me an opportunity to pay them back in a short amount of time, I have to do my best to willingly go along with it. Now I just have to stay until I pay you back all the money, right?"inquire Lincoln, looking at Lisa what he said that.
"Professor Kukui has already been informed, and he said you should be able to pay back everything you owe within a short amount of time. But he says he will pay you with your work, so I suggest you don't slack off."answered Lisa, revealing that her penpal had already been informed.
"Tough but fair."admitted Lincoln, who knows that he will have to work hard being a research assistant in order to pay back everything he owes.
"I'm surprised you're going along with this so willingly."admitted Lola, who expected more resistance.
"Hey, when it comes to owing certain people money, I rather go to the other side of the world and work my butt off then stay here and have to do favors for them."said Lincoln, who did not want to break another pair of high heels in for Lola... or be forced to be the bag carrier for his sisters when they go to the mall.
He almost threw out his back the last time he had to do that... and it took several trips to the chiropractor to fix it...
"Makes sense."said Lana, as she wouldn't want to owe her twin sister money either.
"So, when do I leave?"inquired Lincoln, wondering when he was going to go to this mysterious place that was near Hawaii.
"You will go this afternoon. Professor Kukui already made the arrangements to book you the next flight to Alola as soon as possible. FYI, Alola is the name of the small archipelago of islands you will be going to."said Lisa, giving Lincoln all the information he needed.
"Isn't thaf a little too soon?"inquired their father.
"Hey, the sooner he pays us back, the better."said Lynn, with everyone else agreeing.
"I also agree to these terms..I just hope I don't have to do anything too crazy."said Lincoln, even though at this point he was willing to do anything just to pay his sisters back as soon as possible.
"I suggest you pack up all your stuff Lincoln. Oh, and don't worry, I totes made you an outfit for the tropical environment."said Leni money with a smile, still willing to help Lincoln because of her heart of gold.
"Thanks Leni."said Lincoln, who was glad not all of his sisters were completely furious with him.
So with nothing else said, Lincoln began making his way up the stairs, so that he could do the things he needed to do in Alola. He didn't know what he was going to help this Professor Kukui with, and at this point, he didn't care.
All he needed to do was work his butt off until he earned enough money to pay back each and every single one of his sisters! If what Lisa said was true, then he should be able to pay it back within a matter of weeks. It sounds a bit sketchy, Lincoln wasn't going to lie to himself, but he figured everything was above board if everyone was in agreement.
"Lynn, are you sure we should be letting our daughters send our son to the other side of the world?"inquired Rita, while Lincoln went upstairs to pack his stuff.
"Hey, I'm not happy about it either, but what choice do we have. Lincoln owes each of his sisters a crazy amount of money, and these are binding contracts. Plus, this might teach Lincoln some responsibility when it comes to money, and not to always borrow money when you just want to get something you want, not something you need."said Lynn Sr, making his wife realize that he made a good point.
"Well, I guess we would be bad parents if we didn't make our son pay back his sisters as soon as possible...Plus it's better than the alternative."said Rita, who knew that her daughters would make their brother work for them for the rest of his school years, probably his college years to pay them back.
And she can only imagine how much he would deal with working for 10 different individuals at once! Lynn Sr pretty much at the same thought process, and both shuttered at the idea of what Lincoln will end up being when he finally manages to pay off his debt should he stay in Royal Woods and work it off...
"So many trips to the chiropractor."said Lynn Sr.
"Yeah.."said Rita, agreeing with her husband.
"Let's just stay out of this for now, unless things get out of hand."said Lyn. Sr, with his wife nodding her head in agreement.
Lincoln meanwhile was packing up underwear, socks, and anything else you could think of to take on a trip with him to the other side of the world. He suddenly heard a knock at the door, and open up to see his second oldest sister Leni standing there with a few outfits.
"Try these on."said Leni, as she handed Lincoln the outfits.
Lincoln took the outfits and closed the store so he can put them on. A moment later he opened the door again and Leni saw her work first hand.
Lincoln was not wearing a black and orange bucket hat on his head, an orange muscle shirt with an L over what appeared to be a mini pocket on the chest area, navy blue cargo shorts that went all the way to his ankles, and his traditional white sneakers.
"Wow, thanks Leni."said Lincoln, feeling like this outfit would help him out in a tropical environment.
"No problem, just make sure the stay safe."said Leni before closing the door on her brother.
Lincoln looked over at the rest of the outfits I noticed that they were the same variations of the same outfit he was now wearing. He smiled as he packed up some sunscreen for Alola, since his mother would more than have a heart attack if he didn't pack sunscreen.
Little did Lincoln know that his journey to Alola to pay back his sisters would set him on a journey that he never expected, and he would soon discover a world he never knew it existed in his world until now. How will he react, who will his first pokémon be? Only time will tell..
