Five weeks after the flood Sheldon, Amy and Leonard are having lunch at Caltech when Sheldon's phone rang
"Hello, yes this is Dr. Cooper, hold on"
Sheldon turned to Leonard "it's the building manager, my apartment is nearly ready, he wants to meet me tomorrow night at 7pm, will you be at home?"
Leonard replied "We don't have anything planned, the manager can meet you at our apartment."
"Thanks Leonard." Sheldon returned to his phone "I can meet you tomorrow at 7pm, meet me at Dr. Hofstadter's apartment across the hall, good day to you."
That evening, as Amy and Sheldon were driving home she said
"Sheldon, do you have to return to the apartment….."

Next evening at Los Robles
"Good evening Professor Cooper, your apartment is nearly ready, care to have a look?"
"No thank you Mr. Building Manager. I have decided not to come back, I am going to stay with my girlfriend Amy."
"You do realise that you have to give 3 months notice to vacate the apartment?"
"Yes I do. Here is my formal letter stating that I wish to leave the apartment, I have just paid 3 months rent to the rental company account. Here are all my keys. Would you care for a hot beverage?…"
