After many days of traveling though the Viridian Forest. Our heroes finally made it out of Viridian Forest after venturing through for days while training for their first gym badge.
"There it is," Sora said.
"Pewter City," Kairi said.
"Are you guys a little nervious?" Asked Mallow to the Ketchum brothers.
"A little." Said Ash.
"But we are ready for this gym battle" said Sora as everyone took a small break on some rocks
"Man, it's good to finally sit down after a long walk," Ash said.
"Chu,(i agree) Pikachu huffed.
They rest for a few minutes before heading for the center. They eventually made it to the Pokémon Center and everyone puts their pokeballs on the trays.
"Could you revitalize our Pokémon for us?" Sora asked.
"Yes right away, Sora," the woman asked. Sora and company looked as their eyes popped to see that it was Nurse Joy.
"Nurse Joy?!" Sora and Company asked in suprise.
"Yes I'm Nurse Joy," the nurse answered him with a smile.
"What you doing here in Pewter City? Did you get transferred or something?" Sora asked not understanding what was going on.
"I would think it's possible," Kairi said confused.
"The Nurse Joy you all met in Viridian City is my little sister," Nurse Joy explained. "I'm the older Joy."
"Is that right?" Kiawe asked letting it all sink in.
"Yes," the nurse nodded. "I have a photo right here." She took out a photo with a whole bunch of Nurse Joys. Sora was amazed by how there's many of the same person. She points to one. "That's my little sister right here." She points to the one next to her. "And that's me."
"The resemblance is uncanny," Serena said.
"We may all look alike, but we're all different. My sister told me quite about you all how you stopped Team Rocket from taking the Pokémon.
"Anyway, thanks for your help, Nurse Joy," Sora said. Nurse Joy smiled.
"Anytime," Nurse Joy said. She went into back and they waited. As soon as they sat down, they heard a familiar voice. "Hey guys"
The group turned and saw it was Leaf with a Bulbasaur with a heart on its forehead,
"Leaf!" Ash and Sora said.
"I can't believe it! You're here in Pewter City, too! What a coincidence!" Leaf said with a smile. She was quick to hug the two of them before doing the same with Kairi and Serena.
"Are Red and Gary here, too?" Kairi asked.
"Nah they already took off" said Leaf before she saw Riku. She smiled "Riku. Long time no see"
"Hello Leaf and I see you got your Bulbasaur" said Riku looking at Leafs Bulbasaur. Leafs Bulbasaur is a Female.
"I sure did and she is the perfect partner to me" said Leaf picking up her Bulbasaur who smiled.
"Such a cutie" said Mallow looking at Bulbasaur who smiled. A ding was heard as the gangs Pokémon were done. Pikachu were out before climbing on their trainers. "A Pikachu…you got that Pikachu from Professor Oak right Ash?" Asked Leaf.
"Yeah." Said Ash looking at Pikachu who smiled.
" You're lucky to have a Pikachu, because I had a hard time finding one when I was in the Viridian Forest. But it was worth it, because I almost gave up looking for one," Leaf said before looking at the Alola natives…"oh I'm sorry…I'm Leaf Green and this is my partner Bulbasaur"
"Bulba(Hello)" said Leaf's Bulbasaur. The alolan five introduced themselves to the pallet town native. "Oh that reminds me Riku. Congratulations on becoming the Alola Champion" said Leaf,
"Thanks Leaf." Said Riku.
"Oh would you guys want to join me for lunch." Said Leaf
"Sure that's what we were planning to do" Ash said. The group then went into the mess hall and had their lunch there.
"You guys know you're gonna be taking on Rock Type Pokemon right?" Leaf said to the Ketchum brothers.
"We know…we been training for it for the last few days in Viridian Forest…I had Pikachu learn Iron tail and my Pidgeotto learn to use Steelwing, I also have Froakie as well" said Ash.
"I caught a Bulbasaur and a Bellsprout in Viridian Forest too and I also taught my Spearow Steel wing too" said Sora.
"You guys are always prepared." Said Leaf. /then again. They are the sons of the Kanto Champion/
"Did you earn your Gym Badge yet?" Ash asked.
"I did. The Gym Leader goes by the name of Brock, he's tough and despite me having Bulbasaur, he still gave me a good battle. " Leaf said.
After they ate, they stepped back out in the lobby. Pikachu, Froakie, Sprigatito, Litten, Snowy, Shaymin , Silver and Sandy were saying goodbye to Leafs Bulbasaur.
It's great to see you guys . I just gotta head out to Cerulean City. Maybe, Red might he there, and we can all get together," Leaf said.
"That'll be great to see Red again. We didn't get a chance to chat back in Pallet Town." Ash said.
With that said, they said goodbye to Leaf as she took her leave with Bulbasaur. She walked pass a teenage boy with spiky brown hair and tan skin. He He wore an orange t-shirt, a lime green cargo vest with 4 pockets, a dark brown belt with a gold buckle and dark red pockets, brown jeans and blue-gray sneakers with white trim. As he spots Nurse Joy and he dashed right over to her. They were caught off guard by the sudden speed he had.
"Nurse Joy, it's always a joy to see you!" The teenage boy said in a flirty tone. Just then, another boy wearing a striped shirt that is olive-green, and regular green. He also wore blue jeans, and light brown shoes and he grabbed his ears.
"Brock, we came to pick up our Pokémon, remember?" The younger boy reminded him.
"Right, little brother," Brock said.
"Stop me if this is obvious, but I'm gonna guess that's Brock," Sora said to his brother.
"Yep." Said Ash.
"Pika,froakie(pretty much) Said the two Pokémon on his shoulder.
"I think you're right, Sora," Kairi said.
"I think this should be a good time to ask him," Sora said. The group approaches Brock from behind.
"Um, excuse me, I was told you're the Gym Leader of the Pewter City Gym," Sora said as Brock and his brother turned around and saw him.
"Yeah, I'm Brock. And this is my little brother, Forrest. You're a Pokémon Trainer, right?" Brock asked.
"We are.. my name is Sora Ketchum and this is my twin brother Ash Ketchum." Said Sora introducing himself and his brother.
"Meow,Froa,Pika(Hello) said the three Pokémon.
So, are the both of you challenging him?" The boy asked.
"Yes they sure are," Kairi said. "My name's Kairi, and my partner Sprigatito."
Brock said. "How long have you been traveling?"
"Just a few days," Sora said.
"And how many Gym Badges have you earned?" Brock asked.
"None. The Gym in Viridian City is closed right now," Ash said.
"Hmm. I did hear rumors of the Gym Leader there being away," Brock said.
"We haven't even met him before, and we don't know where he could go," Forrest added.
"Anyway, I will have to ask you both to wait until tomorrow, because my Pokémon needs their rest, and we have to head home for dinner," Brock said.
"That's fine with us…we'll just do some training" said Ash looking at his friends.
But, if you like, I would like to invite you all to dinner, because you could use a home-cooked meal," Brock said.
"We don't wanna be a problem," Kiawe said.
"It's not a problem," Forrest said. "Brock is a great cook."
"Well, since you offered," Sora said. He didn't want to be rude since they were invited for dinner. They left the Pokémon Center and heads towards Brock's house..
They arrived to the house and entered inside. They saw eight other kids; four boys and four girls when Brock opened the door. And also they all shared Brock and Forresa's appearance.
"We're back," Brock announced. The other kids went up to Brock and Forrest. "We have guests with us, and they'll be joining us for dinner tonight."
"Who are they?" One of the other boys asked.
"This is Sora, Ash, Serena, Kairi, Riku, Misty, Lillie, Mallow, Kiawe, Sophocles, and Lana.. to all of you guys, meet our other brothers and sisters. Meet, Salvador, Yolanda, Timmy, Cindy, Suzy, Tommy, and these two are Billy and Tilly," Brock said.
"What a family resemblance," Sora said.
"Where's mom?" Forrest asked.
"In the other room. She's on another habit," Salvador said. They walked in and they saw a woman wearing a pink top and a white long skirt. She has a lot of Pokémon made from different colored paper
"You mean, she's still at it?" Brock asked.
"Still at what?" Serena asked.
"Oh, my mom has taken interest in origami ," Brock said.
"Hello, Brock dear. Didn't hear you come in," Brock's mother said. She sees the group . "Oh, we have guests, how nice. My name is Lola "
The group introduced themselves to Lola.
"Children look at all the new Pokémon origami I made," Lola said pointing to the origami.
"She has a habit of getting into different hobbies and interests. Last month she tried to juggle bowling pins, and before that, she tried ballet," Brock said.
"Brock was here when I was learning how to yodel!" Lola said, almost singing.
"Mom, they will be joining us for dinner" you don't mind," Forrest said.
"Oh, how nice. You all could use a home-cooked meal. Especially you," Lola said, pointing at Sora.
"Huh?" Sora asked.
"You're nothing but skin and bones," Lola said with concern. "We're going to put some meat on those bones of yours."
Riku laughed a bit before Sora glared at him
After a little while after dinner. ash and Sora decided to have a mock battle with Pikachu. froakie, Bulbasaur, and Litten,
Everyone else came out to watch their training when Brock came out, . He watched Ash and Sora train as well, and he grinned. Kairi turned to Brock.
"Been there long?" Serena asked.
"Not too long. I was going to tell you that dinner's ready. Seeing those two, I could already tell they got a bright future ahead of them," Brock said.
"A bright future?" Kairi asked.
"Ash and Sora will make it big as a Pokémon Trainer, I know it, so I wanna see it for myself," Brock said.
"Yeah, they been preparing for it for the last four years with their parents teaching them everything," Kairi said.
"Hey ash, Sora! Dinners ready" said Serena calling out to them, the brothers end their spar before coming to them with their Pokémon. "Guess we lost track of time." Said Ash. The group went inside and since Brock's dining room was big for Nebby who was released. The kids were in awe of seeing a Legendary Pokémon in their house.
"Amazing so you raised Nebby since she was a baby?" Asked Brock to Lillie.
"Yeah..Nebby didn't want to leave me so I caught her after she evolved" said Lillie. The Pokémon ate the food Brock provided and all of them had smiles on their face. Even staryu enjoyed the food and Cosmog who ate from Ashs lap.
"Wow Brock…your food is Delicious." Said Sophocles.
"Thank you Sophocles." Said Brock with a smile.
"See my big brother wants to become a Pokémon Doctor/Breeder but since our dad is in the hospital due to Heart problems. Brock had to take on the responsibilities of the gym and taking care of us." Said Forrest.
/that's terrible to not be able to pursuit his dream because he has to care for the gym and his family./ thought Ash feeling a bit sorry for Brock who couldn't go for his dream. Later that night, Serena and Fennekin were up in the kitchen since she asked Brock if she can use his kitchen which he was okay with, "shhh, Fennekin" said Serena putting the tray of cookies into the oven,
"Fenn(gotcha. Being quiet)" said Fennekin.
"I hope they turn out alright" said Serena before closing the oven door.
the very next morning, Sora woke up and came downstairs to have some breakfast. He saw Kairi cooking the meal for everyone.
"Good morning, Sora," Kairi greeted.
"Morning. Where's Brock and his family?" Sora asked.
"Brock and Forrest went ahead to the Gym to get ready. Lola and the rest went out somewhere," Kairi said. "So, I asked Lola to cook breakfast for you guys, she didn't seem to have a problem." The breakfast consisted of eggs, over easy, crispy bacon, wheat toast, and some orange slices. She poured a glass of orange juice for him. She placed Sora's plate in front of him. She placed her own plate down and sat down.
"Wow, this looks great," Sora said. "Now, for the taste test." He took his fork and cuts some of the eggs, and he took a bite. "And that's a pass."
"I'm glad you liked it, Sora," Kairi said. He always praises her cooking since he was bad at cooking. he couldnt even cook a frozen pizza without it burning. Soon everyone else came down to eat breakfast that was made by Kairi before heading for the gym which was right next to the house. The group enter the gym.
"Welcome Ash and Sora," a familiar male voice said. The lights came on. Brock sat with his legs crossed. He then stood up. "Just before we begin, this is your very first Gym battle, so don't expect it to be easy."
"Then well have to do it the hard way," Sora said.
"Bring it on Brock. We're ready" said Ash
"I like your spirits but Spirit's not enough to make it in this battle," Brock said. Forrest stepped in, standing at the podium.
"Forrest, what are you doing here?" Serena asked.
"I'm acting as referee for the upcoming battles. You guys are welcome to watch" said Forrest. The group minus Sora and Ash stood to the side to watch the brothers first gym battle.
"Good luck you guys" said Serena with a wave, Ash smiled but blushed a bit seeing Serena cheer for him which was caught by Brock and Riku who grinned.
He stood far back from Sora letting him go first.
The Gym battle here in the Pewter City Gym is about to begin! Sora, since this will be your first Gym battle, I should explain that each one of the Gyms has their own set of rules for battle. For example, this will be a two-on-two Pokémon battle! Also, you will be permitted to make substitutions anytime during the battle, and the Gym will not! There is no time limit either. Also, the battle will be over if two of either Trainer's Pokémon is unable to battle, and if you shall win, you will be rewarded the Boulder Badge!" Forrest explained.
"Well said, Forrest," Brock said. "Sora, do you understand the conditions he has explained?"
"Yeah, I do!" Sora said.
"Good," Brock said, taking off his shirt. "Now, let's get this battle started!" He took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Geodude! Go!" His Pokéball opened and out came a brownish-gray boulder Pokémon. It has bulging, rocky eyebrows, trapezoidal, brown eyes, and a wide mouth. "Geodude!(let's rock!) Its arms are muscular with five-fingered hands. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned it.
Geodude, the Rock Pokémon, ARock/Ground Type, Geodude are often mistaken for rocks and boulders, and as a result, they're either stepped on, or tripped over. Geodude also holds contests by bashing into each other, seeing which one is the hardest.
"A Rock-type and a Ground-type, so I know who to send out," Sora said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Bulbasaur!" His Pokéball opened and Bulbasaur appeared.
"Bulbasaur!,(Let's get this party started) " Bulbasaur said stomping his feet. Rose came oit of her pokeball to watch her brother battle. Kairi picked up Rose and Sprigatito is on her shoulder. "Whoa that's a big Bulbasaur" said Timmy.
"way bigger than the last one we saw" said Tommy
" I thought you would start up with Bulbasaur. You made a wise move by picking a grass type Pokémon to counter my Geodude, but it's not enough! Geodude! Use Tackle!" Brock ordered. Geodude charged at Bulbasaur.
"go in for a Take Down attack Bulbasaur!" Said Sora. Bulbasaur is covered in a white aura before he goes running towards Geodude using Tackle. The two Pokémon clash in the middle of the arena before both Pokémon were forced back to their respective sides. Bulbasaur took recoil damage before shaking it off. He was just getting warmed up. Sora said. "Now use Curse!"
"Bulba!(right!) said Bulbasaur before a ghostly aura comes over him as he lowered his speed to increase his attack and defense. /Curse? Very interesting he taught his Bulbasaur a ghost type move. Curse raises the users attack and defense up but lowers its speed/ Thought Brock
"Geodude use Mega Punch!"." Said Brock
"Geo,Geodude(Here comes my Mega Punch!" Said Geodude surrounding his fist in a black orb of energy.
" Bulbasaur Use Vine Whip!" Said Sora. "Bulbasaur!(Vine Whip attack!)" said Sora's Bulbasaur extending his vines and smacked Geodude stopping his attack
"a direct hit! now lets use Razor Leaf!" Said Sora.
"Saur!(Razor Leaf!) said Bulbasaur firing Razor Leaf.
"Use Defense Curl!" Brock ordered. Geodude curls itself into a ball, protecting itself from Bulbasaurs Razor Leaf. . "Use Mega Punch again!" Geodude dashed at Bulbasaur with his Mega Punch. Geodude then lands a punch on Bulbasaur. "You alright Bulbasaur?" Asked Sora.
"Bulba(I'm fine!)" said Bulbasaur.
"alright use Sludge Bomb!" Said Sora.
Bulbasaur opened his mouth to fire Sludge Bomb towards Geodude. Brock was ready for the counter "use Defense Curl"
Geodude curled itself into a ball again and took the hit from the Sludge Bomb. "Now let's use Rock Throw!"
Geodude releases circular multi-colored waves from its body, white orbs of aura appear in front of itself, before rocks form inside the orbs, leaving a white glow around the rocks. It then shoots the rocks towards Bulbasaur.
"Alright let's use Leaf Storm" said Sora.
"what!" Said Brock.
Bulbasaur is covered in a green glow before he roars to the heavens as a cyclone of leaves surround him. The leaf storm heads right for the rocks clashing with them before it goes though them and straight for Geodude. Geodude is hit by the full force of the attack dealing a lot of Damage. geodude then falls down defeated.
""Geodude is unable to battle! Bulbasaur wins!" Forrest announced.
"good Job Bulbasaur!" Said Sora.
"Saur!(Thanks Sora!)" said Bulbasaur with a smile
Brock called back Geodude and he smiled.
"Get some rest, Geodude. You've earned it," Brock said kindly. He smiled at Sora. "Well done, Sora. I'm impressed. You're a whole lot better than I thought you were. Now, to use my second Pokémon is my partner." He took out another Pokéball and threw it. "Onix! Go!" The Pokéball opened and Onix emerged from inside and gave out a loud roar. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned Onix.
Onix, the Rock Snake Pokémon, aRock/Ground type,Onix burrows at high speed in search of food. The tunnels it leaves are used as homes by Diglett.
"Onix sure is much bigger than in person I thought. But like they say, the bigger they are, the harder they fall," Sora said. "Bulbasaur! Use Vine Whip!"
"Onix! Use Bide!" Brock ordered. Onix endured the Vine Whip attack from Bulbasaur. "Is that all you got?" Asked Onix in the pokelanguage to Bulbasaur.
"Leaf Storm Bulbasaur!" Sora ordered. Bulbasaur let loose his Leaf Storm attack before the leaves struck Onix. Onix's body gave off a red glow from each hit.
"Fell for my trap. Each time an attack his Onix after using Bide, power builds up and then releases depending on the damage Onix took," Brock said in his thoughts.
"Use one more Vine Whip!" Sora ordered. Bulbasaur sends out Vine Whip again making Brock smirk. "Now unleash Bide!" Onix fired a powerful, white beam.
"look out Bulbasaur!" Said Sora.
Bulbasaur was too late to dodge the attack as the white beam struck him dead on before sending him flying. He crashed down defeated. Rose cried to see her brother get defeated by Onix.
"Bulbasaur is unable to battle! Onix wins!" Forrest announced. Sora goes over to Bulbasaur a d pickecd up the grass type "you okay Bulbasaur."
"Bulba, Bulbasaur(I'm sorry Sora, I lost)"" said Bulbasaur.
"you did Awesome buddy, get some rest" said Sora recalling him to his pokeball. He looked at Onix who roared for the next challenge, "I should have said, the bigger they are, the harder they hit," Sora said. " He looked at Litten who nodded to him before going out to the field.
"A Fire type like Litten is weak against rock and ground types so he's at a very big disadvantage against Onix" said Kiawe.
"Let's see if their training paid off" said Riku crossing his arms, Kairi could only be silent and watch.
"Use Scratch!" Said Sora. Litten runs towards the towering Pokémon with his speed. "Onix use Bind!" said Brock
Onix goes right for the small cat but Litten jumps onto the back of Onix much to the shock of Brock and his siblings. "You fell for my trap! Litten use Double Kick!" Said Sora.
"what!" Shouted Brock. Litten when he reaches the top kicks Onixs face with Double Kick dealing a great amount of damage to the rock snake. "Clever" said Brock after Litten lands back and Onix recovered. "That last attack took me by surprise….well done Sora"
"Thanks…Litten been working on his double kick all last night and we got it down" said Sora.
"Meow!(that's right!)" said Litten.
"We'll that won't work again! Onix use Rock Tomb!" Said Brock. Onix becomes outlined in white energy and raises its head. Multiple gray rocks outlined in white energy then form around its head in the shape of a ring. The glow around Onix then fades, causing the rocks to fall down on the ground.
"Use Double Kick to destroy the rocks!" Sora ordered. Litten then uses double kick to destroy the rocks before going right at Onix
"Use Bide!" Brock ordered. Onix's body glows red once again. It was too late to call off the attack, so Litten lands a hit on the Rock Snake Pokémon.
"Shoot! Onix is using Bide just like the last time! Every time I attack with it, Onix builds up energy, and then shoots it out. Got no choice but to attack. Litten! Use Double Kick again!" Litten jumped and gave Onix a smack with another double kick. It builds up even more energy. "One more time!" Litten gave Onix one more Double Kick, and it lands a successful hit.
"Now!" Brock said. Onix fires a white beam of energy right at the fire cat.
"Use Ember!" Said Sora…Litten then takes a deep breath but instead of using Ember unleashed a powerful Flamethrower attack that clashes with the Bide attack.
"No Way! Litten learned to use Flamethrower!" Exclaimed Kiawe.
"It's blocking the Bide attack" said Mallow. Brock, Misty, his siblings and the Others are in shock that Litten learned to use Flamethrower.
"Litten has been Soras for many years…now that he can finally train him as his partner….Litten can now unleash his full strength because he wants to win" said Kairi.
The attacks cancel each other out and Sora seeing how tired Onix was said, "now Litten, go in for the finish with Double Kick!"
Litten then goes right in running up Onix massive body before striking the rock snake Pokémon really hard with double kick.
The Rock Snake Pokémon then fell backwards on the ground, making the ground shake.
"Onix, get up!" Brock called out. Onix tried to get back up, but Onix was too exhausted to do so before collapsing.
"Onix is unable to battle! Litten wins! The winner of the battle is Sora from Pallet Town!" Forrest announced. Sora was awestruck by how he won it.
"I don't believe it! I won! I just won my very first Gym battle!" Sora exclaimed with joy. Sora ran towards Litten and he ran towards Sora. He picks up the fire cat before hugging him . "We did it, buddy!"
"Meow(we did!) said Litten with a smile.
Yes, you two did," Brock said, calling back his fallen Onix. "You exceeded my wildest expectations, worked together. The unity between the two of you is what brought you victory." Brock smiled. Forrest walked up to his brother and took out a small chest. Brock opened it to reveal a badge that is a simple gray octagon. "As proof of your victory here in the Pewter City Gym, I present you with this. The Boulder Badge." Sora took his Gym Badge and he smiled.
"My very first Gym Badge," Sora said. He placed it in his Badge Case before going over to his friends and they all congratulated him and Litten.
"My turn" said Ash stepping forward. He was glad he gave Serena his egg to hold.
"I have tow other Pokémon that belong to me so I will be using them…the rules are the same as it was the last match" said Brock.
"Fine with me Brock" said Ash.
"Alright then my first choice is Lycanroc!" Said Brock releasing a midday form Lycanroc.
"Lycanroc huh….then I'm going with Pikachu!" Said Ash sending out Pikachu."pika(alright let's fight)!" Said Pikachu,
"Lycanroc use Acelerock!" Said Brock. Midday Form Lycanroc surrounds itself in a white aura and then slams itself into Pikachu at a high speed sending the mouse flying. "Ohh that's gotta hurt" said sora.
"Oh no Pikachu!" Said Serena.
"Hey Pikachu you okay?" Asked Ash.
"Pika(I'm good!)" said Pikachu with a thumbs up.
"Great use Quick attack to get close to Lycanroc." Said Ash. Pikachu was quick to use quick attack to get a little closer to Lycanroc. "Use Stone Edge!" Said Brock. Lycanroc slams its front legs on the ground to create large sharp rocks out of the ground as they close in towards Pikachu. "Use Iron Tail to cut though the Stone Edge!" Said Ash.
Pikachu swings his tail and breaks the rocks with Iron Tail before he smacks Lycanroc with his iron tail.
"A direct hit! Use thundershock!" Said Ash. Pikachu then let's loose a thundershock attack towards Lycanroc. "Rock throw!" Said Brock. Lycanroc is covered in a white aura before flicking its tail towards Pikachu throwing more rocks towards him. "Use Quick Attack to dodge Pikachu." Said Ash.
"Pika(Running)!" Said Pikachu using quick attack to dodge the rocks before getting in close to Lycanroc. "Now use Thundershock one more time!"said Ash.
"PIKACHU!" Shouted Pikachu unleashing a full thundershock on Lycanroc shocking the wolf Pokemon knocking it out,
"Lycanroc is unable to battle…the victor is Pikachu" said Forrest.
"Nice work Pikachu…come on back" said Ash. Pikachu goes right back to Ash and the two high five. Brock recalls his Lycanroc before he said. "Thanks Lycanroc…take a good rest."
"And my final choice shall be you!" Said Brock releasing a bipedal tortoise-like boulder Pokémon with a spherical body covered by a shell of plated, green rocks. Its body is so hard that even dynamite cannot scratch it. Its head protrudes from the center of the shell. The head has a flat snout with two pointed teeth in the lower jaw and red eyes. It has short arms that have three claws and two legs with feet that have four claws in front and one in back. The head and limbs are light brown in color."Golem(bring it!)"
Ash pulls out his Pokédex to scan the new Pokémon, (Golem, a Megaton Pokémon. A Rock and Ground Type, Once a year it sheds its bedrock shell and grows larger.)
"So that's a kantonian Golem" said Kiawe.
"What do you mean? Are golems different in Alola?" Asked Sora before pulling out his Pokédex to reveal a golem much different than the one Brock has. In the Alola region, Golem has much shorter forearms with two claws. The feet have only two claws as well. Its face attracts iron sand, creating the appearance of a mustache, eyebrows, and a large black beard. Jutting out of the top of its body are two large, black rocks with a smaller rock in-between, forming a shape of a cannon. On the inner edge of the larger rocks are three golden dots.
(Golem, Alola Form. The Megaton Pokémon. A Rock and Electric type. It uses electricity to launch rocks and stones, and its eyebrows and moustache are gathered iron filings.)
"So that Golem is a Rock and Electric type while the Kantoian is a Rock and Ground Type." Said Serena.
"Alright I know who I am going with…Froakie I choose you!" Said Ash sending out Froakie who appeared ready for a fight.
"You were well prepared with bringing a water type like Froakie against my Golem but it won't be enough….Golem use Rollout!" Said Brock. golem tucked itself into its shell before rolling straight for Froakie. "Froakie use quick attack to avoid that rollout" said Ash, Froakie hooped as fast as he could to avoid being crushed by Golem who then turned around to continue to chase. /Rollout gets stronger the more times it's used. I need to stay on the safe side until I get an opening/ thought Ash
"Now Froakie use Double Team!" Said Ash.
"Froakie!" Said Froakie before creating copies of itself before Golem rolls right at a copie destroying it…"Keep it up with Rollout Golem and destroy the clones !" Said Brock.
Golem destroys all of the fakes before stopping to look around. "Where is it?" Asked brock.
"Now Froakie use Dig!" Said Ash
Froakie came out of the ground underneath Golems face before smacking the Megaton Pokémon in the face.
"Now finish it off with Water Pulse!" Said Ash. Froakie formed his water sphere attack before throwing it towards Golem. golem is then sent on its back knocked out.
"Golem is unable to Battle! Therefore the victor goes to Ash Ketchum of Pallet town." Said Forrest.
"Way to go Froakie" said Ash as the frog came back to him and high-fived. Brock recalled his Golem before he said "exellent work Golem…dad would be proud of how well you fought."
Brock came over to the raven haired teen before he said, like your brother, You exceeded my wildest expectations, worked together. The unity between the two of you is what brought you victory." Brock smiled. Forrest walked up to his brother and took out a small chest. Brock opened it to reveal a badge that is a simple gray octagon. "As proof of your victory here in the Pewter City Gym, I present you with this. The Boulder Badge."
"Thanks Brock" said Ash looking at the badge before putting it inside his badge case.
"A well done battle to all of you" said a voice. Everyone turned to see an older looking man with the same hairstyle as Brock but was grey no the same eyes. He was accompanied by Lola.
"Dad? What are you doing out of the hospital?" Asked Brock.
"I'm finally better son…. Now I have come to retake the position of Gym Leader so you can go live your dream of being a Pokémon Breeder/Doctor." Said Flint.
"You leave everything to us" said Lola,
The gang decided to leave the family be before they headed out of the gym. "So the next gym is where again?" Asked Sora to his brother with his hand behind his back.
"Cerulean City….that's our next destination" said Ash. Misty was silent which was caught by Lana but before she can say anything. They all heard. "Hey wait up!" The gang turned to see Brock with his Lycanroc beside him with his bag. "Brock what are you doing here?" asked Ash. "I'm coming with you guys on your journey" answered Brock.
"Sure…the more the merrier" said Kairi.
"Yep. It's a lot better traveling with others than alone" said Sora. . With their new friend Brock did the gang continue on their quest.

"Master Yen Sid." Said King Mickey, Mickey is an anthropomorphic mouse with black fur, round ears of the same color, and a thin, long, black tail. The fur on his face is cream-colored. His usual outfit in the Kingdom Hearts series is a modified version of the one he wears in modern Disney cartoons. He wears a short-sleeved jacket with white lining. The top half of this jacket is black, while the bottom half is red, and there are two yellow straps dangling in front of it. His pants are red and sport a zipper going down the front of each leg. Each leg also has a yellow pouch with a black strap that partially cover the zipper, as well as a blue strap on the outer side of each pant leg. Mickey wears very large, yellow shoes with grey backs and two orange, intersecting straps attached to the front of each shoe.
The King of Disney Island had come to speak with his mentor about the latest Heartless attacks and the fact more people are disappearing with each passing day. He had brought with him Donald and Goofy.
Donald is an anthropomorphic duck with white plumage, a yellow-orange bill, legs of the same color, light blue eyes, and a short tuft of feathers on his head, visible under his hat. His outfit is a modified version of his original blue sailor's suit (in fact, he wears his original clothes in the opening of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories). His blue hat, which resembles a beret, has a belt in place of a normal brim, and sports a zipper that spans the length of the hat. His high-collared jacket is navy blue with sky blue lining and cuffs. There are three pouches, all of which are blue with yellow lining, along the middle of the jacket; the center pouch is secured by a flap, while the other two use silver zippers.
Goofy is an anthropomorphic dog with black fur and droopy ears. His outfit in the Kingdom Heartsseries is a modified version of his basic outfit in the modern Disney cartoons; in fact, he wears his normal outfit in the opening of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. He has two bucked teeth and three short hairs coming out of the top of his head, just in front of his hat. Goofy's hat is orange (save for a blue band in the middle) and the top is an odd shape, resembling a teardrop placed on its side. There is a small pair of red goggles around the bottom of the hat as well (strangely, the lenses of these goggles seem to be quite a bit smaller than Goofy's eyes). Goofy wears a green turtleneck sweater with sleeves that bell out slightly and a blue arrow-shaped strap on each cuff. He wears white gloves with a brown band around each wrist. Over the sweater, he wears a sleeveless, black combat vest with grey lining and four pockets of the same color. Goofy's pants are yellow and secured by a thick, black belt. They have rather large pockets and a pouch on each leg with a silver zipper. The legs of his pants have a peculiar style, with the bottom rims (which are dark orange) being pulled upward in the front by a brown strap. Goofy has very large shoes which are brown with steel toes on the outside.
"Mickey. It is as I feared….The Door to Darkness has been opened." Said Yen Sid.
"But who would open the Door of Darkness!?" Asked Mickey. The retired keyblade master closed his eyes before he replied. "I do not know but I do know that we must act immediately."
"what do we need to do?" Asked Mickey,
"The Door of Darkness has two keys that must be brought together….one of light and one of darkness….one we already know where it's at…..The Kingdom Key." Yen Sid said.
"that's Sora's keyblade." Said Goofy
"I know. Its twin brother…the Kingdom Key D is located deep within the Realm of Darkness." Said Yen Sid showing the three another copy of Kingdom Key except it had a golden blade and silver hilt.
"the Realm of Darkness. The home of the Heartless." Mickey replied. Donald and Goofy shivered at the mention of the Realm of Darkness.
"Mickey, Donald and Goofy. Go seek out Ryo and tell him of the current situation." Said Yen Sid.
"of course master" said Mickey before the three bow to the retired master before heading for the door. "May your heart be your guiding key"
