Disclaimers: I do not own Lloyd in Space or Mass Effect.
A/N: Don't worry, I'm still working on my Draconic Neutral chapter.
Okay, first let me explain. This has been sitting my archives collecting dust for years, pretty much ever since I beaten Mass Effect Andromeda and I decided that I might as well see how it would do in the small fandom that is Lloyd in Space as a crossover. Pretty much I said, "Why the hell not?"
I remember watching Lloyd in Space when I was younger and found the concept of it quite interesting, especially with Eddie being one of three humans on that entire station and at first glance I thought that he was the main character. While he wasn't, I still found his character to be my favorite. I also thought that it should have been him and Brittany getting together instead of Lloyd and Brittany simply because I felt that their personalities went well together, plus Eddie is usually the one showing that he is not afraid of her though Lloyd had his moments as well.
Be aware that this story takes place long after even Mass Effect Andromeda has ended and only the long-lived main characters have a chance of being alive and even then they're at an advance age, so don't expect the majority of the party members to show up in present times, only in mentions and flashbacks.
Anyway, I don't expect much out of this story but it doesn't hurt to try.
One more thing, Cindy with through a change which you will find out about in this chapter. Also be aware that this story will not be updating frequently.
You should check out my other stories if you have the chance. You might actually like them.
Chapter 1
High School
Commander John Shepard chose destruction to finally end the Reaper threat in 2186 and the Milky Way galaxy was saved though at a great cost of life and with much technology being considered lost forever. The rebuilding effort took centuries and during that time, more and more races that were not completely wipe out by the Reapers came forth to join the Citadel and help recreate the galaxy in a new peaceful image, with more resources being devoted to peaceful technology and less toward military ones.
In fact, the alliance of races was even able to safety reverse engineer Reaper technology and use it to develop more advance faster-than-light technology which allow them to explore the stars without the use of the relays.
In time contact was even made with the Nexus Initiative in the Andromeda Galaxy about seven hundred years after it launched, bringing in even more races to join the newly reformed Citadel Senate and it was not long after that explorers from the Tsktskian Empire which laid within a third major galaxy, the Triangulum galaxy, arrive on the scene.
Meanwhile the System Alliance reach the peak of its power, with humanity standing out as a leader among the stars, laying claim to hundreds, if not thousands of worlds, and maintaining its role as a peacekeeper. With humanity at the helm, the Citadel Senate became a beacon of hope, peace, and prosperity among the rest of the known universe as it was able to rebuild far faster than the other known races in the Milky Way. With the turians and asari knock off their pedestal during the Reaper Wars, it was the System Alliance, now representing all of humanity both on Earth and beyond, that led the way in all things.
Eventually, over the centuries of recovery, the Citadel Senate became the Citadel Federation and it encompass the majority of the three afromention major galaxies, at least six minor galaxies, and countless races while also gaining a voice in the larger universe community as more and more galaxies became reachable, and despite more and more species constantly being discovered, humanity's light still shined the brightest.
But like a constant cycle that has been around since the first man walked on the Earth, humanity would once again devolve into its natural aggressive state and commence multiple wars with itself and others, accumulating in the destructive World War IX, which while victorious, brought the Systems Alliance to its knees and left it a pale shadow of its former self with its territory being reduced to nothing more than it's original solar system along with the nearby Proxima Centauri, Alpha Centauri A and Alpha Centauri B systems as well. Very few humans lived outside of this territory and for good reason seeing how nearly all of the Citadel races, including old allies like the turians, asari, and such label them as warmongers and discrimination against them was rampant.
But for one such human family from Earth, the Hortons, they had no choice but to go to the edge of Citadel Space in order to escape from danger. A danger that threaten the young couple, Frank Horton and Tess Horton's son's life. Their boy, Edward 'Eddie" Horton, who was a mere six-years old, was harboring long-lost technology within his body due to highly illegal and dangerous experimenting, so a mysterious benefactor whisk them away from human space to make sure that the wrong person did not get their hands on it and the child would not be used as a weapon. Thus the entire family were sent to the quiet Intrepidville Space Station where he met his best friend, Lloyd Nebulon, the son of the station's commander.
It is also where he met Brittany Boviak, a girl who would have a profound impact on his life.
The year is 2889 and Eddie's story is just beginning.
He should have notice something was wrong when the Solar Vista High School cafeteria went quiet and all eight of the other occupants at his lunch table had a look of surprise and concern etch on their faces as their eyes were focus behind him. Kurt and Missy stop discussing the latest "Puffy Star Princess" movie they went to see last night while Douglas and Charmaine put a hold on discussing a new black hole/wormhole theory. Lloyd and Cindy were stuck in the middle of casually chatting while Rodney and Cindi pause in the midst of their arm-wrestling contest.
"SAMEDI, give me something here", Eddie asks the collective AI that was harbored within his mind.
SAMEDI
Simulated Adaptive Matrix Enhanced Defence Intelligence
A combination of two extremely powerful AI's that help shaped humanity's destiny in both the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies
Consisting of SAM and EDI, it can turn a normal non-military trained person into a unstoppable solider and a severe risk to any electronic system.
"Going off the pheromones' in the air and accelerate heartbeat I am picking up, I concur that Brittany Boviak is behind you and she is not in a pleasant mood. I suggest submissive behavior in order to avoid the worst possible outcome", came the response in a voice that was both feminine and masucline at the same time.
"Thanks, SAMEDI, you're a real pal", Eddie replies before slowing turning around to face his apparent demise.
Dress in the Solar Vista High School cheerleading outfit and having all six arms cross across her chest, the Tsktskian was sporting a cold glare which would have sent a shiver down the spine of a lesser man or male alien in the general population of this part of the space.
"You. Have. Been. Avoiding. Me.", she merely says in a icy tone.
"Correction. I suggest making a quick getaway", SAMEDI states.
Luckily, Eddie decides to ignore this advice and instead decides to take the plunge.
"That's impossible, Brittany, for that would mean that I would have had been paying attention to you in the first place", he says.
The collective sound of hundreds of students sucking air through their respective teeth is heard as nearly everyone in the cafeteria instantly clear what was soon to be ground zero, including Lloyd and the rest of the gang. Brittany may be a freshman like the rest of them, but she was still on the varsity cheerleading squad and held a large amount of influence among the popular kids and therefore the student body.
"We have a history project due by the end of the month and you have yet to help me with it", Brittany says as her cold glare turns into a heated glare.
"I figure you could do it by yourself and I just take the easy "A" in the process", Eddie snarks as he stands up.
Now the entire cafeteria was vacant, including the lunch ladies, leaving only Eddie and Brittany.
"You got a lot of nerve.", the cheerleader hisses.
"Mom says I get it from my dad", Eddie retorts with a chuckle.
If there had been anyone left to witness this particular situation, they would have no doubt notice that Brittany was now breathing heavily, as if trying to keep her anger in check.
But instead of making any angry retort, Brittany merely glares up at Eddie who was at least half a foot taller than her thanks to his growth spurt. He was now the third tallest of the group behind Kurt and Missy at a impressive six foot one, just edging out Rodney by two inches.
"You better be at the mall food court after I'm done with cheerleading practice or there will be consequences ", she then says in a low tone before turning around and leaving.
"Can't wait", Eddie shouts back, mentally cursing Mrs. Bolt, who transferred to Solar Vista High School the same year they entered it, for assigning them as partners for their science project.
"I swear she followed us just so she could have some entertainment", he says to himself.
"That is highly unlikely as she is a professional educator and robot and therefore would go against her programming", SAMEDI interjects.
Eddie just lets out a sigh before surveying the vacate lunch hall,
"Two months into high school and I'm already at my wit's end. Just durfing perfect."
Later on after the final bell had rung, Eddie found himself at his locker, putting his books away and grabbing his stuff.
"So is it just you or do all humans have a death wish when it comes to facing their impending doom?", he hears off to his side and partially closes his locker door to come face-to-face with his former bully now turn friend, Rodney Glaxier. It was near the end of their seventh grade year at Luna Vista that the school decided that they had enough of the guy's bullying and not only kicked him off the crushball team, but also cracked down on his punishment which cause him to be alienated, no pun intended, by nearly everyone as no one wanted to associate with him for fear of receiving the same backlash.
Of course, it turns out that Rodney's species is not much different from humans in that they were highly social, if not aggressive, creatures and thus it started to take a physical, mental, and emotional toll on the guy. It was not until Eddie, after being told this by SAMEDI, actually took a pity on the guy and started talking to him whenever he sat at a table by himself during lunch. Of course, he was initially met with aggression from Rodney but eventually the bully got used to his presence. While it understandably took longer for Lloyd, Kurt, and Douglas to come around to the idea of including Rodney in their social circle due to their past experiences with him, it was not long before the group of four became a gaggle of five as Rodney found himself eventually hanging out with the group outside of school and actually found himself enjoying their interactions. He was still sporting the tough guy look, but beyond some light teasing and such, it was safe to say that his bullying days were behind him. So much that upon entering high school, he was allow to try out for the crushball team and was now the starting quarterback for the freshman team. While he was not popular due to this status he was content with it and even continue hanging out with the gang afterwards; particularly striking up a very "close" friendship with Cindi.
Anyway, back to the matter at hand.
"Funny words coming from the guy who bail on me the minute things got bad", Eddie replies before leading his head back and directing his attention to the rest of the gang that was behind Rodney, "That include you guys too."
Douglas throws his hands up in defeat, "Hey, we have all seen what happens when Brittany gets angry and we simply did not want to be caught in the collateral damage."
"See, Eddie, it was all about self-preservation. A natural things for mortals like us", Lloyd joins in with a laugh.
"Yeah, Brittany has gotten way scarier since we became freshman! Rumor has it that she can get the entire senior varsity crushball team to beat you up if you make her mad!", Kurt states.
"Brittany is popular, but I doubt she is that popular", Eddie retorts.
"I don't know about that, Eddie", he hears from his other side and he turns to he Cindy, Cindi, Misty, and Charmaine standing there looking at him.
"Oh look, it's the second half of the group that abandon me to my fate", Eddie points out.
"Hey, you set yourself up for that, idiot!", Cindi snarks.
"I think what my sister means is that you should have been helping Brittany from the start instead of goofing off", Cindy says.
Eddie looks back and forth between the two, still faintly amaze that up until a year and a half ago, they were still sharing the same body until they went through their species' version of puberty and split apart, their individual bodies regrowing all the limbs and organs that allow them to act like two separate entities though they kept their distinct personalities. The nice head stay known as Cindy while the not-so-nice- head simply changed her name to Cindi and they were officially classified by their species' government as sisters instead of one person.
Funny enough, Cindy was dating Lloyd, which was a given, while Cindi was technically going out with Rodney though the two would never admit it but Cindy says the two of them stay up for hours just talking over the phone about wrestling and stuff.
"What was that ancient saying? Birds of a feather flock together", Eddie thought for a moment before realizing that Cindy was talking to him.
"Brittany has a lot more sway then you think over the popular kids, especially since word in the hallway is that some of the varsity crushball team players have their eyes on her", Cindy says.
"What? They can't get a senior girl so they're trying their luck with a freshman?", Eddie laughs.
"Regardless whether or not that rumor is true, I would advise you tread on the side of caution when you go meet her at the mall, else misunderstandings could arise", Charmaine says.
"Yeah, there are some guys on the team that even I would have a hard time squashing", Missy adds.
"I'll think I'll be fine", Eddie says, "Y'all seem to forget that my dad is still the chief of police and therefore any assault on me would not be swept under the rug, no matter how rich someone is on the station."
"Plus there is a high probability you would inflict severe, if not outright lethal, wounds to your assailants should it come to that", SAMEDI states.
"True, but I'm not going to tell them that", Eddie replies as he closes his lockers and lets out a breath, "Well, let's get this fucking over with."
"Hey, one thing", Rodney replies, "Can I get your stuff after you're gone?"
Eddie leaves without saying a word, merely flipping the bird as he walk to the space bus loading area.
Eddie found a migraine starting to develop during the bus ride home and the main cause of it was sitting right next to him. While everyone else on the bus was whispering to themselves about the whole situation, they were all smart enough to do just that...whisper.
"Didn't you say had cheerleader practice to go to after school?", he asks, earning yet another glare from Brittany.
"I had to cancel due to the fact that SOMEONE hasn't been helping me with my project and we have a lot of catching up to do!", she replies, no doubt making sure that everyone heard her so no one would come to the wrong conclusion on exactly why she was sitting next to him.
"Okay, moving on to my next question. Why are you taking the bus which you haven't done since the eighth grade? Don't you usually have your family driver come pick you up?", Eddie inquires.
"Trust me, I rather be doing that right now than this, but I have to make sure you don't go running off to do whatever dork things you have plan for the day instead of helping me with this project", Brittany explains with a huff.
Eddie rolls his eyes, wishing that he wasn't the only one of his friends who didn't have a after-school activity to do. Lloyd did space baseball, something he found he had a knack for. Unfortunately, space baseball was considered the bastard stepchild of Solar Vista High after crushball and bounceball (space basketball) and thus despite being the captain of the freshman team, he was consider no more popular than Rodney, who also happen to be at crushball practice. The sisters had after school stuff as well as Cindy was in the Garden Club while Cindi was in the space auto shop club.
Kurt was in his cooking club along with Missy, something that surprises everyone when you consider someone like them being so large but great at something as delicate as cooking. Finally, Douglas and Charmaine had the chess/debate club.
Now that he thought about it, he only really hung out with friends at school and when the weekends or holidays hit.
"Maybe I should join a sports team", Eddie thought as he ignore Brittany as best he could as the bus near Intrepidville Space Station.
"That would be ill-advise. If you were to engage in above average physical activities outside of your physical education class, the nanomachines in your bloodstream would re-awaken and it would reveal that you are physically superior than any humans and most aliens. Something like that would garner unwanted attention", SAMEDI states.
"Yeah, you're right. But maybe I could find a non-physical hobby to get involve in", Eddie suggests.
"Well, seeing how I do not affect your mental capabilities, you are free to temporarily shut me off and pursue activities that would challenge your mind", SAMEDI says.
...
"If I didn't know any better, I would say you just call me stupid", Eddie accuses.
"Nonsense. I am merely pointing out your flaws", SAMEDI counters, "By the way, Brittany Boviak's irritation levels seem to be rising for she has been trying to get your attention for the past few seconds."
Eddie returns his attention back to Brittany who was once again glaring at him.
"Like, if I didn't know any better, I would say that you enjoy being the only freshman who can ignore me under your own free will. Like, it makes you feel special or something", she says.
"I wouldn't say it makes me feel special but it definitely gets a rise out of you, so that's something", Eddie replies with a chuckles, prompting Brittany to grumble something under her breath and while he could hear it thanks to his enhancements, he decides not to comment on it.
The bus comes to its stop and lets its passengers off, with Eddie leaving first and Brittany following behind him.
"Hey, durf boy, wait up!", Brittany yells at him as she comes up next to him.
"Seriously lacking in the insulting department. Be more creative", Eddie comments as he heads toward the mall, "Anyway, I have to pop into the police station and talk to me dad for a moment."
"By the twelve, can't you just call him or something?", Brittany groans.
"I could do that but I figure going to see him personally would tick you off even more than you already are", Eddie chuckles and once again promptly ignores the glare that Brittany sent him.
The two enter the elevator that would take them up to the mall along with a group of other residences.
"We'll be covering the Tsktskian Golden Age as the topic for this project", Brittany pretty much orders while looking straight ahead.
"I'm no Tsktskian, but I'm pretty sure that has been done to death", Eddie says.
"Hey, you get to pick the topic for a project when you decide to help from the beginning. Stop pissing me off and I just might think about letting you choose the subject for the next project", Brittany retorts.
"Bold of her to assume that we'll going to be partners again after this. If this happen again, I'm fighting tooth and nail to the very end to change it", Eddie thought before speaking, "I'm just saying we should cover something that at least affected the more than just one race, like perhaps the Reaper Wars."
"Like, the Reaper Wars only affected the Milky Way Galaxy. No one here in this galaxy cares about that", Brittany points out.
"Which means its something that someone has probably never done before", Eddie says, "Look, the Tskskians are one of the big shots in this galaxy and I'm sure your people's history has been cover plenty of times before."
"True as that may be, why would anyone want to hear about the war where your dirt ball of a backwater planet was capture so easily and it took the rest of your galaxy to bail you out", Brittany says with a scoff, "But yet your people claim to be a warrior race."
Eddie takes a deep breath before exhaling slowly. He then turns his full attention to Brittany.
"First off, the attack on Earth was the second largest concentration of Reaper's force with only the attack of Palavean being larger and that was due to the turians have a significant larger military than humanity. Second of all, the rest of the galaxy didn't just bail us out. Commander John Shepard had to go around and help each Citadel race with their own Reaper's problem before they could agree to lend aid to help take back Earth," Eddie explains, "And finally, humanity has never officially claimed to be a warrior race, we are simply better at war than most other races, there's a difference. That's mainly because we have no problem changing our military doctrines and adapting new tactics. Correct me if I'm wrong but the first military conflict between the Tskskian Empire and the Citadel Races ended in a overwhelming victory for the Citadel with the System Alliance inflicting the heaviest casualties in that campaign and even single-handily capture a number of your outlying planets and launching a raid on your homeworld, killing half your Grand Council in the process."
Brittany's face goes even bluer with anger and embarrassment, but Eddie did no seem to be just quite done yet.
"You can put down humans all you want, Brittany, I couldn't care less since that's what nearly everyone else has been doing ever since I got to Intrepidville. But do try and remember that despite our aggressive attitude sometimes and our tendency to be on the backfoot in a lot of conflicts; humanity has never lost a war with non-humans nor has Earth been attacked directly since the Reaper War and that was the only time it has ever been attacked. So as a recap, humanity loses battles not wars.", he concludes and turns his attention back to watching the elevator door.
"I must advise you that might have been a bit much", SAMEDI states.
"Don't care. Thanks to you, I have a first-hand account of everything Shepard and humanity as a whole went through during the war and even a bit beforehand. It's not something people, including other humans, can just scoff about", Eddie says in response before picking up on the conversation of the other people in the elevator.
"As much as I hate to admit it, the human is not wrong. Humans have yet to lose a major conflict with another race as far as I know."
"Doesn't mean he has to be all uppity about it. That poor Tskskian girl must be in tears now."
"The furthest thing from it", Eddie told himself as he spots the fuming face the poor Tskskian girl was making.
"How dare he talk to me like that?!", Brittany told herself, her inner thoughts rampaging through her mind. Tskskian were taught from a young age to never show their emotions in public, at least whenever they were around other Tskskians. Such displays were considered a weakness and could be used against them by their rivals; and when you are a Tskskian, everyone but your direct family was a rival and sometimes even blood kin could turn against you. Growing out here in Intrepidville as a single child had allowed her to be more open with her facial expressions and thus, more outgoing, but there were still times when she knew she had to keep a calm demeanor, at least vocally.
"Ever since kindergarten he has been like this! Never knowing his place!", Brittany thought as she remembers back to the first day she met Eddie when their teacher introduces him to the class, "What's the first thing he does upon get put in my class? Spills paint all over my clothes and didn't apologize for it!"
Safe to say that Brittany did not like Eddie, mainly because he was the only one who has never been afraid to speak his mind toward her. While most guys, including Eddie's friends like Lloyd, went completely gaga whenever she decides to even look in their direction, the human always kept a neutral expression when addressing her. He was almost just as good as masking his emotions as a Tskskian was. Of course, there were times when even Eddie lost his temper at her and she found it infuriating that whenever that happen, she could not do anything beyond the occasional insult or demeaning name due to the fact that despite all the wealth and influence her family has at the station; Eddie's dad is still chief of police and the station was a Citadel Federation project, not a Tskskian Empire's one, therefore he cannot do much beyond complaining. Plus with Eddie's best friend being the son of the station's commander, he had a great degree of protection around him and was most likely the main reason he was not intimidated by either her or the other popular kids on the station.
Even Rodney's bullying in middle school did not go beyond the name-calling phase. The guy was a thug but he was not stupid.
Though she was bit surprise that both of them were now friends with each other.
Regardless, she hated nearly everything about Eddie and the only minor thing she had the closet thing to respect about him was the fact that he was somehow seen as the "de facto" leader of the non-popular portion of the freshmen that included the geeks, nerds, and other non-sports students.
So in a nutshell, Brittany was the high queen of the popular freshmen while Eddie was the pauper king of the other half of their year.
As the two got off the elevator and went into the mall, they noted that it was mostly empty due to the fact the majority of its patrons were either just getting out of school or off work at this time. For some reason or another, the station police station was locate directly in the center of the mall so it was easily accessible from any of the four entrances.
Brittany takes the time to spare a brief glance at Eddie while he was focus on the police station before returning her attention to walking.
"He has grown quite a bit since Luna Vista", she thought to herself, remembering a time when she could almost look him directly in the eyes whenever they got into a argument, but now she had to crank her neck up a little to do that.
Speaking of eyes, she recalled another rumor she heard involving Eddie and that one girl, Sirenia, a Cenuniversian. It mainly pertain to the fact that the girl's "charming eyes" power did not work on him for some reason unlike the rest of the boys in school, but Brittany could not recall the details.
The two of them make it to the food court which was situate close to the police station where Brittany then promptly sat down.
"I'll be waiting out here for you. Do NOT take your time in there, we got work to do", she all but commands, prompting Eddie to roll his eyes in annoyance.
"As you wish, princess", he says as he heads to the front door.
Upon entering, he was greeted by the entry officer on watch, who simply waved at Eddie as he buzz him into the main lobby without so much as asking for his ID.
Being the son of the police chief had it perks sometimes, though Lloyd definitely had the same amount leeway with him being the son of the station commander. Folks on the station always found it ironic that the respective sons of the head of the civilian law enforcement element and the military one were the best of friends seeing how on other space stations they would be bumping heads just like their parents. This was usually because while the military dealt with external threats to the station, the police were task with handling internal threats, which sometimes could include the military personnel and that usually did not go over well.
But somehow it work here in Intrepidville.
As Eddie enters the main lobby, he spots a number of officers moving all over place at a leisure pace. Most of them only spare Eddie a glance, but do not bother him beyond that. The boy then turns his attention to a office at the other end of the station.
On the front of the door a sign read:
Chief of Police: Frank Horton
"Maybe I can have him arrest me and throw me into a cell until the assignment due date had past. A few comic books and some drinks and I should be good", Eddie told himself as he made his way over, weaving between the officers moving about, knock on the door as soon as he got in front of it.
"Come in!", a voice on the other side said and Eddie opens the door and walks in where he spots his father sitting at the desk talking to someone on the phone.
"Okay, I'll talk to you later", his father says as takes a look and sees his son standing in the doorway. He then hangs up the phone and looks at Eddie in silence for a extended period of time.
Finally, he takes a breath and says a mere two words.
"You're grounded."
"I'm sorry, what?", was Eddie's response.
"You're grounded", Frankie repeats, "For two weeks."
"May I ask why?"
"Your mom and I received a phone-call this morning from Mrs. Bolt in regards to you not working with your assign partner for this history project she gave y'all like a month ago", the police chief explain.
"Of course she would", Eddie says, "Honestly though, I'm surprise she waited so long to say something."
"On that we can agree. Guess she's losing her touch", Frankie comments, "Anyway, you're still grounded. You can only leave the house to go work with your project partner and school but that's it."
Eddie knew better than to argue but he still hated the fact that he was more than likely going to get the same speech from his mom when he got home.
"Well, ironically enough, I came to give you a heads up that I'm going to be working with my partner on the project today and might be a little late getting home", Eddie says.
"Just use SAMEDI to check in at the top of every hour", his dad said, "Speaking of which, are you having any issues lately?"
"Nah, everything is working at one hundred percent since my last checkup."
"Good to hear. By the way, I got a message from you-know-who earlier today as well", Frankie states.
"What she want now?"
"Nothing serious. Just a heads-up that you'll be doing more firearms training during this winter session along with hand-to-hand so they hope you have been practicing", his dad says.
"Two hours a day when I get home with the simulator along with live-action weekly practice with you at the station's gun range", Eddie says.
"Alright then, you best get along and get to work on this project", Frankie states before back to paperwork that was lying in front of him.
Eddie nods and then turns to the door, but just as he was reaching for the door knob, his dad speaks up once more.
"By the way, who is your partner?"
"Brittany", Eddie says with distaste in his voice.
"The Boviak girl?", Frankie question.
"The one and only", Eddie confirms.
"Is that right?", Frankie says, "No wonder you didn't want to do the project. You never did get along with that girl."
"Exactly", Eddie says.
"You're still grounded though."
"Damn it", Eddie grumbles as he leaves and heads out into the mall.
"Like, took you long enough. Could you be any slower?", Brittany tells him as Eddie comes up to the table she was sitting at.
"My apologies, princess. Next time I'll put you before my family", Eddie answers as he sat down.
"Whatever", came her response, as she stood up, "Let's go."
"Excuse me?", Eddie questions.
"As much as it pains me to say this, we're not going to be doing research in the mall", Brittany explain, "There are too many distractions here for your simple human mind to pay attention so we're going to the park instead."
Eddie moves to stand up and tear into the girl but SAMEDI stops him.
"The sooner you have this work assignment complete the sooner you can stop interacting with the Tskskian girl in this particular manner."
"Goddamnit", Eddie replies as he grabs his bookbag, "Well, then let's go."
"Well, it's about time you started seeing things my way", Brittany says with a laugh to which Eddie made no response to.
So focus he was on ignoring the girl that he fail to notice the seven figures that moved from their secluded corner of the mall and started tailing the two teenagers as they made their way to the station's park.
A/N: So Cindy is the nice head and Cindi is the mean head. I couldn't work with them being stuck together and since we never really saw another member of their race, I figure I might as well do the separating bodies bit. Mostly because despite the fact that in the canon, Lloyd had a crush on Brittany since he was like six, the minute he met Cindy (the nice head in the episode) he seem to be completely in love with her, so I wanted to run with that. Also know that the backstory between SAM and EDI combining will be explain whenever I get around to updating this story, but for now I leave this here to finish up my Draconic Neutral chapter.
P.S. I added Rodney to the group to make it a five-band group and he brings a new spin to everything.
