DARKNESS RISING PART 1 OF 5
It was another sunny evening in the desert of Jasper, Nevada. A purple muscle car drove over the hill. If one were to stop the vehicle and open the door, they would see that it has no driver.
The car spoke to someone. "So there I am on lookout when these high beams light up my rearview mirror. That's when it hit me, I'm illegally parked!"
In another part of the state, a white and blue motorbike was driving down the road with a female driver. "Another parking ticket?" The motorbike asked.
"Better, the boot." The muscle car corrected.
"Big metal tire, impossible to remove."
"Bingo! So the local police did their thing, and I let the Tow-Truck haul me all the way down the block. That's when I kicked off my shiny tires, and BANG!"
"New York's finest soil themselves."
"You know me, Airachnid. You mess with Wildspark…"
"You get the claws." Airachnid finished, causing Wildspark to laugh. "Not sure how that complies with Decepticon rule number one; keep a low profile?"
"What can I say?" Wildspark began. "Patrolling for energon in Dullsville can get lonesome. Almost makes me miss the Autobots."
"Like Jasper, Nevada's a party?" Airachnid retorted. "We're alone wherever we go on this rock, Wild."
Suddenly, a beeping went off in Wildspark's glove box, revealing it to be a radar. "I'm picking up a signal."
"Need backup?" Airachnid asked.
"Do I ever need backup?" Wildspark inquired before taking a turn.
He drove off the road and ventured for a few minutes before coming to a halt in front of a crater. Said crater was filled with blue crystals, energon.
"I just came across the jackpot." Wildspark cheered.
However, a large shadow covered the crater, the shape of it being a ship. It could only be one thing, the Autobot warship, the Hyperion.
Wildspark transformed into his robot mode. "Autobots." He decreed, looking up.
One of the turrets underneath the Hyperion fired, and a laser exploded near Wildspark, causing him to fall into the crater. Fortunately, he managed to land on his feet at the last second.
A large hatch underneath the Hyperion opened up, and out came Vehibot/Auto-Troopers, at least a dozen of them. They all stared down at the lone Decepticon.
"Uh, Airachnid. About that backup. I really need it like five Earth minutes ago." Wildspark said. He eyed his enemies for a few tense seconds before speaking. "Fair warning boys and girls, I'll leave a few cuts on ya."
With that said, the Decepticon transformed into his car and drove towards the rocks in the crater, accelerating. He flew into the air, transforming, then came crashing down on his enemies.
High above in the sky, in a different part of the world, a Tandem Rotor Cargo Helicopter was flying way up high. But it was no ordinary helicopter. It was gray, black and red, and it had two red insignia's on its sides. Seconds later, the vehicle received a transmission.
"Airachnid to Megatron! The Bots are back, Wild may be neck deep in scrap!" Airachnid shouted worryingly.
"Understood, Airachnid." Megatron said. "Laserbeak, does Soundwave have Wildspark's coordinates?"
In the middle of Canada, a group of fourteen mini-cons were patrolling the area while the purple female one was flying and was holding a stereo player in her talons that showed Wildspark's coordinates.
"Soundwave is locked on to Wildspark's coordinates, Megatron, but our team is scattered across the United States. Soundwave's initializing ground bridge charge up." Laserbeak said.
Megatron made a roll call. "Airachnid, Breakdown, Knock Out, Stinger, Steve, Shockwave, Starscream, return to the Nemesis and prepare to groundbridge to Wildspark's location to aid him!"
Wildspark was doing extremely well against the Vehibots, but their numbers overwhelmed him. One punched Wildspark from behind, causing him to stumble forward, allowing another Vehibot to kick Wildspark in the chest. Causing Wildspark to stumble again to another Vehibot that struck Wildspark, causing a claw finger to come off.
Wildspark crashed down into the crater, and the Vehibots jumped down, intending to finish their enemy.
"You want the claws?" Wildspark spat as he stood, converting his arms into blasters. "You got them."
He then began to open fire, striking down one of the Vehibots, then all of them returned fire with their own weapons. The shootout went on for ten seconds, then a Vehibot laser hit one of the energon crystals, causing a huge explosion. The last five female Vehibots then dragged the now mortally wounded Wildspark back to the Hyperion.
In the bridge of the Hyperion, there was a tall red Autobot with a hook for his right hand, who appeared to be in charge of the ship, watching a reply of the explosion on the main screen, and he was very angry.
"ARRGH, THE ENERGON IS NOW WORTHLESS TO ME!" He said.
A hatch in the floor behind him opened and up came the five Vehibots. They dragged Wildspark to him, then forced him on his knees, all while the Autobot turned around.
"Ultra Magnus, It's been a while." Wildspark commented before spitting out some energon. "So, where's your master?"
"NEVER MIND HIM!" Snapped Ultra Magnus. "I'M MY OWN MASTER!" Without warning Ultra Magnus buried his hook into Wildspark's chest, right where his spark chamber is "GOT IT?"
Wildspark's life began to flash before his optics. His thoughts went to his team, his family. "Airachnid... I'm sorry."
Ultra Magnus violently tore his hook out of Wildspark's chest, allowing the Decepticon to fall to the floor, lifeless.
"CLEAN THAT UP!" Ultra Magnus ordered the two Vehibots.
Down on the ground, the Hyperion vanished from view just as a green and white portal opened. In order, out came Breakdown, Airachnid, Knock Out, Stinger, Steve, Starscream, Soundwave, Laserbeak, Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, Ratbat, Buzzsaw, Garboil, Wingthing, Howlback, Glit, Enemy, Flipsides, Overkill, Slugfest, Shockwave, and lastly, Megatron.
They all had their weapons drawn, ready for battle. However, there was no one there but themselves, so they all either deactivated their weapons or retracted their weapons.
"An untapped energon deposit." observed Shockwave.
"What's left of it, anyway." replied Knock Out.
"This is the first Autobot activity in three Earth years since 2007." stated Starscream.
"That we know of Starscream." said Megatron grimly. "If they are scouting for energon, they must be preparing for his return."
The Decepticons advanced closer to the site and scattered to look around the area.
Suddenly, Ravage picked up a scent. "Megatron, I think I found something over here."
They all ran to where Ravage was and gasped in horror; there was Wildspark's claw finger. Airachnid gently picked it up before saying in a sad tone. "No."
"Soundwave, can you track his position?" asked Megatron.
Soundwave nodded, his mask showed twenty-four green dots. However one of them turned red, before fading away completely.
"No." Breakdown said sadly.
"The only thing we can do is give Wildspark's remains a proper burial." Megatron decreed.
With that said, the twenty-three Decepticons returned home, saddened by the loss of Wildspark, especially Airachnid. Wildspark was her partner, one of her closest friends... and he was gone.
Meanwhile on board the Hyperion, Ultra Magnus was monitoring the ship's scanners when an Autobot that looked almost like Soundwave walked in.
"Blaster, what is it?" He replayed the conversation between Airachnid and Wildspark. "So there is another. Why should we just slay one Decepticon when we can take down one more?"
At the Decepticon warship; the Nemesis which was submerged in Lake Dena, the twenty-three Decepticons were gathered in the bridge, sending off their fallen comrade. It was then Megatron gave his speech.
"We must not allow our anger over the loss of Wildspark to impair our judgement. As of today only we twenty-three Decepticons remain on Earth. We owe it to ourselves to the memory of Cybertron, to any Decepticons throughout the universe seeking safe harbor, to humankind. And we owe it to the memory of our fallen comrade to survive. Till all are one." Megatron finished.
"Till all are one." The Decepticons announced.
"Goodbye Wild. Till all are one." Airachnid said sadly.
Then she began to move away from the group. She couldn't deal with the loss of her friend. It was too much. "Airachnid?" Megatron asked, concern evident in his voice.
"If Wild's gone standing around here sulking won't bring him back. So unless anyone minds, I think I'll get back to protecting humankind." She said emotionally with tears coming from her optics. "I... I need some time alone." With that said, she exited the bridge while everyone else watched her leave and felt sorry for her loss especially Starscream.
"Megatron, helping humans will only result in more tragedy," said Starscream.
"Your statement has been noted, Starscream." Megatron replied.
SOME MONTHS LATER
After the loss of Wildspark time went by and the date was now November 26, 2010 and Ravage was scouting in Jasper, Nevada, then she decided to contact Soundwave.
"Ravage to base! Soundwave!" But there was no response. " Scrap! Signal Jammed."
Then she heard car engines from behind her, and saw a white and purple Urbana 500 car with two other cars with it and they began to fire at Ravage.
"Humans have a saying... 'Curiosity KILLED the cat' Well, I'm happy to oblige!" said the white and purple Urbana 500 car.
Ravage managed to avoid the blaster fire and make her way to the sewers. Then the white and purple car transformed into an Autobot.
"You missed me again Bumblebee!" said Ravage.
"GET BACK HERE!" shouted Bumblebee.
"I'LL TAKE YOUR SPINE! YOU LITTLE-" Bumblebee said, but got cut off by Ravage.
"That's supposed to make me want to come out is it? You really need to work on your persuasion skills. See ya around autobot!" said Ravage.
The other two Vehibots came up to Bumblebee.
"These drains come out in the town! Find her! TRANSFORM AND ROLL OU-" said Bumblebee but was cut off by someone on the com.
"BUMBLEBEE, WHERE ARE YOU?" said the autobot on the com.
"Oh, er, hi prowl. Now, I know what it looks like. I wasn't ignoring my orders...again." said bumblebee.
"Bumblebee." said prowl as a police motorcycle and a holographic image of a police officer riding him.
"I was tracking the signal, ok so, I might've been off course." said bumblebee
"Bumblebee," said prowl.
"But that had nothing to do with racing," said bumblebee.
"BUMBLEBEE, I KNOW ABOUT THE CON." shouted prowl.
"I'LL RENDEZVOUS WITH YOU IN THE SETTLEMENT, SHE CAN'T HAVE GOTTEN FAR WITHOUT WHEELS." said prowl over the com.
Meanwhile in Jasper, the life of all people continued normal, but everything was going to change for a specific teenage boy, a 16 year old boy named Jack Darby, who was working at a fast food restaurant called KO Burger.
"Hello. Welcome to KO Drive in, where every patty is a knockout. May I take your order?" replied Jack from behind the counter in the dullest, most monotone voice ever conceived.
"Eh? Two super combos, extra fries…"
"Ok, dos números two. Anything else?"
"Yeah, some advice: how do I get an awesome job as yours?" the customer asked sarcastically before laughing it up with his friends.
"So, that's two "We're not as funny as we think we are combos" with a side of "BITE ME!" replied Jack.
The customer stopped laughing at hearing that. "What did you say?!"
"$5.59, sir. At the window." Jack spat out.
A car drove up and when Jack wasn't looking, the driver took the meals and disappeared.
"HEY! I HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT!"
Meanwhile outside KO Burger, a 15 year old girl who moved from Tokyo named Miko Nakadai whose life would be changed forever by the same way, was sitting at a table while enjoying her super combo with fries and a soft strawberry milkshake while on her computer.
"No, come on, YES! There we go. so that's the problem, just a typo in the code, that's disappointing." said Miko.
Then Jack came out of the door furious and that startled Miko.
"WOAH! Are you alright?" asked Miko.
"Not exactly." replied Jack.
"Bad work shift?" Questioned Miko.
"Something like that." answered Jack.
"It's Miko right?" asked Jack.
Meanwhile Ravage was in the sewers when she spotted Jack and Miko and then she contacted Soundwave again.
"Soundwave?" whispered Ravage.
"(RAVAGE ARE YOU OK)." asked Soundwave over the com in a chattery sound.
"Yes, I'm fine." replied Ravage.
"(YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE WANDERED OFF LIKE THAT.)" Soundwave chattered.
"ALRIGHT! I shouldn't have wandered off. But my nose was right, there were Autobots about." said Ravage.
"(DO YOU NEED HELP?)" chattered Soundwave.
"YES, HELP! There are humans nearby." said Ravage.
"HUMANS? Oh no." said Airachnid.
"HOW MANY?" asked Airachnid over the com.
"TWO. AND I CAN SMELL AUTOBOTS ON THE PROWL." replied Ravage over the com.
Unknown to the humans, Bumblebee was behind them. But Jack and Miko didn't notice they were busy talking to each other.
"Yep, I'm Miko." said Miko.
"The exchange student?" asked Jack.
"Yeah, flew in last month...er...jake?" said Miko.
"Jack." Jack corrected.
"Look, I have a plan. You're not going to like it and Megatron's really not going to like it either." said Ravage to Soundwave and Airachnid, she then transformed into a tablet and hid in Miko's bag.
"Why'd you come here? Jasper isn't exactly the entertainment capital of the world. Nothing ever happens here." said jack.
"Exactly! There's way too many distractions in Tokyo." said Miko.
"Huh, well, how about I show you the town? It won't exactly take long." asked Jack.
"Alright then Jack, show me the highlights." replied Miko as she grabbed her stuff along with her bag which still had Ravage in it who was still in her tablet form.
"This store has the best ice cream in town." said Jack to Miko showing her the Jasper ice cream shop. But unknown to them they were being spied on by Bumblebee.
"BUMBLEBEE TO PROWL, I HAVE SOMETHING! REMEMBER THE REPORTS OF HUMAN ALLIES?" Bumblebee said to prowl over the com. He then began to follow Jack and Miko.
"Ok so this market is the only one in town." said Jack to Miko showing her the Jasper market before coming up to an abandoned part of the town.
"This part of town's been abandoned for years. My friends used to explore the old houses." said Jack to Miko showing her the abandoned buildings. But then she noticed that it was getting late.
"Well this has been interesting Jack. But It's starting to get late, so I need to call my host parents." said Miko.
Miko looked into her bag to grab her phone but then she noticed that there was something else in her bag, she then pulled it out and it was a yellow and black tablet with the Decepticon insignia on it's back.
"Huh, how did this get in there?" questioned Miko.
"What is it Miko?" asked Jack.
"This isn't mine." replied Miko showing Jack the tablet.
"Maybe you picked it up at school?" asked Jack.
"I'm sure I would've noticed." replied Miko.
Then bright lights shone upon them and they covered their eyes.
"HEY! WHAT THE-" said Jack.
There in front of them was a white and purple Urbana 500 car with the autobot insignia on both of its doors.
"HEY BUDDY TURN DOWN THE LIGHTS WILL YA?" yelled Jack.
"THE CAT!" said the car, then it began to transform.
Jack and Miko were surprised.
"Uh, Jack…" said Miko.
"Holy-" said Jack.
"HAND OVER THE CAT!" ordered Bumblebee.
"HUMANS! WHY ARE YOU JUST STANDING THERE?! RUN!" yelled the tablet.
So Jack and Miko ran while Bumblebee fired his blaster at them.
"This is amazing Miko. TALKING CARS! MYSTERIOUS TABLETS! IN JASPER OF ALL PLACES!" said Jack excitedly.
"ARE YOU SERIOUSLY ENJOYING THIS JACK?!" Asked Miko.
Then Bumblebee fired at the old building but the two humans evaded it.
"JACK?! CALL 911!" yelled Miko.
"NO MIKO SPLIT UP! IT CAN'T CHASE BOTH OF US!" yelled Jack.
So they split up but Bumblebee went after Miko.
"WHAT! NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO! DON'T CHASE HER!" Yelled Jack.
"Let go of me kid! I need to transform!" said the tablet.
"Oh, the kitty cat wants a fight. How cute-ack!" said Bumblebee when he got hit in the head with a rock.
"HEY SCRAP JOB! WHAT'S GOT YOU IN A BAD MOOD?! DID YOU LOSE A RACE TO A SHOPPING CART?! WOULDN'T SURPRISE ME! SO COME AND GET ME YOU OVERGROWN TRICYCLE!" yelled Jack.
That made Bumblebee so mad that he went after Jack.
"YOU'LL REGRET SAYING THAT FLESHBAG!" yelled bumblebee.
"Please be careful Jack," said Miko.
"DON'T STOP HUMAN! KEEP RUNNING!" said the tablet.
"I'm calling the cops," said Miko.
She found her phone and tried to call the police but there was no signal.
"OH COME ON WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO SIGNAL?!" yelled Miko.
"They're jamming it." replied the tablet.
"They? Who's they?" asked Miko.
"Autobots." replied the tablet.
"Is that supposed to mean something?" asked Miko.
Then she heard the engine of a motorcycle.
"WAIT! ENGINES...PEOPLE! HEY! HEY! STOP! HELP!" yelled Miko.
"OH SCRAP IT'S PROWL!" said the tablet.
The police motorcycle then transformed into Prowl.
"Finally, the cat and accomplice. Going to come quietly?" asked Prowl.
"Throw me." said the tablet.
"WHAT?" questioned Miko.
"THROW ME AND RUN NOW!" yelled the tablet.
So Miko threw the tablet.
"HOW'S THIS FOR QUIET!" the tablet yelled to Prowl.
The tablet then transformed into Ravage and started to attack Prowl.
"URF! GET OFF ME YOU ANIMAL!" shouted Prowl then Ravage looked back at Miko who was still standing there.
"I TOLD YOU TO RUN AND DON'T LOOK BA-AGH!" yelled Ravage when getting shocked by prowl.
"Now then, beast, tell me where your master is," said Prowl.
"I don't have a master!" replied Ravage.
"Alright then, tell me where Soundwave is," said Prowl.
But ravage didn't, she instead fired one of her missiles at Prowl but he dodged it.
"ENOUGH OF THIS!" shouted Prowl when cuffing ravage with stasis cuffs.
"ALLYING YOURSELF WITH A MURDERER. YOU DISGUST ME. YOU AND ALL DECEPTICON ACCOMPLICES-Wait! The human! WHERE IS IT?" questioned Prowl.
Miko was hiding behind a rock.
"OH COME ON MIKO, THINK! THINK! I NEED A DISTRACTION." Miko whispered.
She then took out her computer and saw a pile of rocks with a sign that said "CAUTION FALLING ROCK."
"OR MAYBE A TRAP." whispered Miko.
Meanwhile, Jack was still being chased by Bumblebee.
"BUMBLEBEE TO AUTO-TROOPERS. CONVERGE AT MY COORDINATES." said Bumblebee over the com.
"BUT, WHAT ABOUT PROWL?" asked the female Auto-trooper over the com.
"I DON'T CARE ABOUT PROWL! GET OVER HERE IMMEDIATELY YOU USELESS DRONES." shouted Bumblebee over the com.
Bumblebee tried to grab Jack, but Jack was too fast.
"GAH! YOU SLIPPERY LITTLE-" Bumblebee got cut off by Jack.
"YOU CAN'T CATCH ME. YOU'RE JUST THE ONLY...ONE." Jack said when he saw the two Vehibots approaching and then transformed.
Jack was surrounded by the autobots.
"YOU REVOLTING LITTLE FLESHLING! YOU DARE MOCK ME! THE FASTEST IN ALL OF THE AUTOBOT EMPIRE!" yelled bumblebee.
"Fastest huh? Are all the other 'warriors' segways?" Mocked Jack.
Bumblebee was furious but before he could do anything to Jack, they suddenly heard a beeping sound from behind them and a white and blue motorcycle drove up on bumblebee like a ramp with a radio on it's back, then the motorcycle and the radio transformed into Airachnid and Soundwave and the two of them attack the two Vehibots.
"WOAH!" said Jack.
Soundwave tossed one of the Vehibots over.
"OH SWEET!" said Jack.
"SOUNDWAVE! BEHIND YOU!" shouted Airachnid.
She then shot a web at Bumblebee covering his blaster.
"STAY BACK AUTOBOT!" said Airachnid.
"This is so cool! Is this like a giant robot fight club?! Are those anime shows based on you?! HEY!?" said Jack after Soundwave picked him up.
"There are humans nearby." Soundwave repeated what Ravage had said earlier.
"One of Ravage's humans, but where is the other one?" Asked Airachnid.
Soundwave then showed an Image of Ravage and a video recording of Prowl to Airachnid.
"ALLYING YOURSELF WITH A MURDERER. YOU DISGUST ME." The recording of Prowl said.
"Prowl has ravage? Scrap! Is she hurt?" asked Airachnid.
Bumblebee then turned his webbed blaster into a blade.
"HURT? I'LL SHOW YOU HURT CON!" yelled Bumblebee.
"Soundwave, go help Ravage. I'll handle this scout!" said Airachnid.
Bumblebee swung his blade at Airachnid but she dodged it. While Soundwave and Jack went off.
"WOW!" said Jack.
"SCOUT?! I am the mightiest of all autobot warriors, you insect. I was handpicked by Optimus Prime himself! I've fought at the battle of Velocitron, Axiom Nexus, Tarn, Corumkan-" Bumblebee got interrupted by Airachnid.
"DO YOU EVER SHUT UP?" yelled Airachnid.
"OOOH! Hit a nerve have I con?! Well THAT'S NOT THE ONLY THING I CAN HIT!" shouted Bumblebee as he shot Airachnid in the shoulder.
"HA! EASY! Poor little insect, you never stood a chance, did you? Oh! I can't wait to see the look on Prowl's face! Wait until he finds out I captured-" Before Bumblebee could finish, Airachnid shot her webs at him and transformed and went off to find Soundwave and Ravage while leaving Bumblebee all webbed up.
We then cut back to Prowl who had Ravage hooked up to a device that was attached to her stasis cuffs then he contacted the other troopers.
"Prowl to troopers, I have a prisoner." But there was no reply which made Prowl angry.
"WHERE ARE THEY?" yelled Prowl.
"Lackeys ignoring you bike-bot? WOW! This must be peak autobot efficiency!" said Ravage.
Then they heard a voice nearby saying, "HELP! CAN YOU HEAR ME?! PLEASE ANSWER THE PHONE!" Prowl then knew it was Miko.
"Huh? Fleshlings really can't stay quiet can they?" said Prowl as he began to follow the sounds to the source.
"Stay put, beast. Let's see where your pet got to?" said Prowl to Ravage.
"NO! WAIT! LEAVE HER ALONE! SHE'S NOT PART OF THIS! PROWL!" yelled Ravage.
Prowl got closer and readied his blaster.
"Alright human-con SURRENDER!" said Prowl.
But the only thing there was Miko's computer and it was playing a recording.
"A RECORDING. PRIMITIVE TECHNOLOGY. BUT CLEVER, I'LL GIVE YOU THAT, HUMAN. HAND YOURSELF IN NOW, AND I'LL MAKE SURE YOU'LL LIVE. I'LL EVEN ENSURE THE CAT IS SPARED." yelled Prowl and he crushed Miko's computer.
Meanwhile Miko was trying to get a rock to move to start a landslide above Prowl.
"URRH! MOVE! COME ON!" groaned Miko.
Then she got the rock to move starting the landslide Prowl then heard the landslide behind him and got buried.
"Woah. Did I just do that? That worked better than expected." said Miko as she slid down the landslide and made her way to Ravage.
But what she didn't know was that Prowl was still online. She then met up with Ravage.
"Uh hi." said Miko to Ravage.
"You? How? Where's Prowl?" asked Ravage.
"Buried. Er...Is there a way to release that?" asked Miko.
"There's a stasis link, a wire, pull it out." replied Ravage.
Miko did what Ravage said and uncuffed her from the stasis cuffs.
"Got it." said Miko.
"Thanks." replied Ravage.
"I've got a lot of explaining to do, have I-wait, do you hear that?" said Ravage.
Then a blast fired at her and Miko but she quickly grabbed Miko and lept to safety and saw who fired at them. There was Prowl all beaten up and half of his visor destroyed revealing one of his optics. He also had his blaster and shocker ready and boy was he mad.
"BIG. MISTAKE. FLESHLING!" yelled Prowl as he shot two blasts at them.
Ravage threw Miko onto her back.
"Whatever you do, don't let go!" said Ravage.
"But I...The rock fall...How?!" asked Miko.
"He's tough for a little two-wheeler, human!" replied Ravage.
"LITTLE?!" questioned Miko.
"Little by our standards." answered Ravage.
"ENOUGH!" yelled Prowl as he shot another blast at them but Ravage stopped just in time.
"Get behind me." Ravage said to Miko, and so she did.
"Something got your fender's in a twist Prowl?" said ravage.
"GET OUT OF THE WAY BEAST!" Prowl said when he saw something in the distance.
Prowl growled in annoyance and then transformed into his motorcycle and ran off to find Bumblebee and the other two Vehibots.
"What just happened?" asked Miko.
Then she heard Jack in the distance.
"Miko! Are you alright? I saw laser's!" said Jack in the distance.
Miko turned around and saw Jack being carried by Soundwave.
"Friend of yours?" Miko asked Ravage about Soundwave.
"Family." Ravage answered.
"You found one too?! Awesome! There were like five of them! You know, the big robot that chased us! I was concerned! Then there was this motorcycle-spider-lady, and this guy." said Jack.
Then Soundwave put Jack down and kneeled down to Ravage.
"Ok I know I made a bad call. I shouldn't have wandered off. And the kids...I...I didn't think the bots would assume they were involved. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to put them at risk." apologized Ravage.
Soundwave was silent at first then he hugged Ravage.
"(ARE YOU ALRIGHT RAVAGE)" Chattered Soundwave.
"I'm fine, honestly, just a few scratches." said Ravage.
"Hi err...sorry to interrupt. Miko here and quick question, WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON HERE?!" said Miko.
Soundwave then stood up and Ravage climbed onto him.
"To cut a long story short, I've managed to get you two caught up in an alien civil war." explained Ravage.
"YES! ALIENS! IN JASPER! HA! AND VINCE THINKS STREET RACING IS EXCITING!" said Jack excitedly.
"And as far as the rest of the planet is concerned, we don't exist." added Ravage.
"Aww, so I can't talk about it?" said Jack, disappointed.
Then Airachnid drove up and transformed into her robot form.
"Another motorcycle?" questioned Miko.
"Another robot." answered Jack.
Jack then ran up to Airachnid.
"HEY! THAT WAS SO COOL! I BET YOU FLATTENED THE OTHER GUY! WAIT, IS YOUR SHOULDER ALRIGHT?" asked Jack.
Before Airachnid could respond Jack's phone rang. It was his mom, June Darby.
"MOM. Oh dear...I think she's going to be really mad." said Jack as he answered the phone.
"JACKSON DARBY, WHERE ARE YOU?!" yelled June.
"Oh, err...Hi mom-WHAT?! GROUNDED?! But-Alright, oh and can you also take Miko home too?" said Jack.
LATER
"JACK! YOU PROMISED TO COME STRAIGHT HOME AFTER WORK!" yelled June.
"I was just showing Miko around, she's an exchange student. We-we just...lost track of time." said Jack.
"LOST TRACK OF TIME!? JACK, YOU WEREN'T FIGHTING AGAIN." yelled June.
"WHAT? NO! I had a bad shift, I didn't want to be grounded, so I talked to Miko. You said I should make new friends." said Jack.
"There's something you're not telling me," said June.
"Mom, I haven't spoken to Vince for weeks! Let alone start another fight. But mom Vince is a jerk. A bully. I-I just thought-I was trying to help." explained Jack.
"*SIGH* Jack. There are better ways of dealing with bullies than copying them." said June as Jack walked to his room.
"Erm...am I still grounded tomorrow, because I have baseball practice tomorrow morning and I don't want to miss it, please." said Jack.
"Fine." sighed June.
"Thanks mom," said Jack.
MEANWHILE AT THE HYPERION MEDBAY
"LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT. THE FOUR YOU ALLOWED A DECEPTICON PRISONER, A BEAST AND IT'S HUMAN PETS TO ESCAPE!" yelled Ultra Magnus at Bumblebee, Prowl and the other two Vehibots.
"THE CON WOULDN'T HAVE ESCAPED IF OUR SCOUT HADN'T COUNTERMANDED MY ORDERS. I had the cat subdued. Until Bumblebee ordered the troopers to IGNORE MY CALLS FOR BACKUP! However my encounter with this human allowed me to collect data on her." said prowl as he showed a picture of Miko, while Ultra Magnus smiled sinisterly.
AT THE NEMESIS MEDBAY
Soundwave, Airachnid and Ravage were explaining to Megatron about what happened last night while Knockout was fixing their wounds with the help of his Diagnostic Drones. "And the Bots would've been scrap if Ravage didn't get those humans involved." Airachnid wrapped up.
"Humans?" Megatron asked, interested and concerned.
"(ONE BOY AND ONE GIRL)" Chattered Soundwave and showed a picture of Jack and Miko causing Starscream to growl in annoyance and turn his attention to Ravage.
"The last thing we need is more human attention!" he said.
"HEY! I TOLD THEM NOT TO TELL ANYONE!" Ravage yelled.
"Oh yes, because children are great at keeping secrets." Knock Out said sarcastically.
"STOP! ALL OF YOU! This bickering achieves nothing. What happened?" Megatron asked Ravage.
"I hid in one of their bags," said Ravage.
"Very poor judgment Ravage." said Megatron.
"I know, Soundwave has already said...It gets worse...The bots detected me, and attacked the kids." explained Ravage.
"*SIGH* We're going to have to debrief them." said Megatron.
"Debrief, as in bring them here?" asked Airachnid.
"Correct Airachnid. Ravage, can you find them?" He asked.
"Yes, but I need someone for pick up." said Ravage.
"I'll do it. Let's go Ravage! And don't worry Soundwave , I'll look after her." said Breakdown to Soundwave in a Scottish accent.
Breakdown transformed into his alt mode and Ravage jumped in and Soundwave opened the groundbridge and Breakdown and Ravage went off to find Jack and Miko.
EARLY MORNING
Jack was at the baseball field when he saw Miko in the bleachers. But she didn't know that ravage was behind her.
"MIKO?" said Jack.
"OI! DARBY!" said the player.
"Oh right." said Jack and threw the ball.
LATER
Jack and Miko were walking down the sidewalk.
"Sorry for distracting you." apologized Miko.
"Ah, It's fine I got into the reserves. I was kinda thinking about robots anyway." replied Jack.
"Yeah about that. Thanks for last night, even if it was a stupid move." said Miko.
"Huh?" questioned Jack.
"The stone throwing, distracting the white one." answered Miko.
"Hey no problem! I still can't believe that happened! I mean this is Jasper! The back end of nowhere! Do you think we'll see them again?" asked Jack.
Miko was going to reply but when she looked to her side she saw a cat in the school courtyard staring at her and Jack.
"Miko?" questioned Jack.
"Is that cat staring at us?" asked Miko.
The cat then walked up to Jack and Miko and it spoke.
"It's me," said the cat.
"Tablet cat?" asked Miko.
"Ravage." corrected the cat.
"You're a normal cat now?" questioned Jack.
"No questions here. Just follow me." replied Ravage.
In the courtyard, a twelve year old boy named Rafael was drawing Ravage in her normal cat form in his notebook.
"Yes. A bobcat." He said then his phone rang and he answered it.
"Hi mama...drawing...at school...okay...just five more minutes?" He then hung up and continued drawing but when he lowered his notebook the cat, Jack and Miko were gone.
"Huh. Where did it go?" He wondered, fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on one's perspective, he spotted them walking down the sidewalk. So, he put his notebook in his backpack and grabbed it and then gave chase, unaware his life was about to change.
Jack and Miko followed Ravage to an alley, while Breakdown was parked across the street.
"In here. I need to talk to you." said Ravage.
Jack and Miko went into the alley and saw the cat disappear.
"Ok, what's going on?" asked Miko.
Then Ravage transformed from her tablet alt-mode into her yellow and black robot jaguar mode in front of Jack and Miko.
"Wow! How'd you do that cat-avatar?!" asked Jack excitedly.
"Holograms." answered Ravage.
"And how'd you even fit in that tablet?!" asked Jack excitedly again.
"Mass-shifting." answered Ravage again.
"Is this about those other robots? Are we going to fight more of them?!" asked Jack excitedly again.
"Woah! Slow down squishy!" replied Ravage.
Meanwhile, Raf arrived at the alley where Jack, Miko and Ravage are. Then Raf heard voices coming from the alley and went to see what it was. Breakdown saw Raf getting closer to the alley and he wanted Ravage to finish.
"After the stunts you two pulled last night you're both in serious trouble!" explained Ravage.
Raf then saw Miko and Jack talking to Ravage.
"THE STUNTS WE PULLED!? WE DIDN'T HIDE IN YOUR BAG!" Miko yelled.
"Yeah, alright, fair point. Look, my leader wants to speak to you." said Ravage.
Then they heard beeping from behind them and saw Raf.
"Scrap." cursed Ravage.
Moments later, Breakdown and Ravage were taking the kids to the outskirts of Jasper where the groundbridge would be.
"Are we there yet?" asked Jack impatiently.
"It's been ten minutes Jack!" answered Miko.
"Yeah, well, I can't see anything back here! You got the best seat Miko." replied Jack.
"Ravage picked the seat, not me!" corrected Miko.
"So...Er...Breakdown?" asked Raf.
"Yep, that's me." answered Breakdown.
"You're alien robots fighting other alien robots?" asked Raf.
"Aye." replied Breakdown.
"And I'm here because I saw too much?" Added Raf.
"I'm afraid so laddie." said Breakdown.
"Pullover Breakdown this spot is fine," said Ravage.
"Righto." replied Breakdown and he stopped and opened the car doors.
"Out yah get kids." He said and everyone got out.
"Uh, why here?" Asked Miko.
"We just need somewhere quiet to open the groundbri dge." answered Ravage.
Then Breakdown transformed into his robot form and Raf was surprised.
"Sorry for kicking yah out. People, mechanical or organic, can get a bit...queasy, first time bridging. And well...I wanna keep me floormat's clean." explained Breakdown.
"Er...Where is the bridge thing?" asked Miko.
Then the groundbridge opened and the three kids were surprised.
"There." Answered Breakdown pointing at it.
"Now that's what I'm talking about!" exclaimed Jack.
"This is awesome! Our very own 'take me to your leader' moment! Come on!" Jack said as he ran into the groundbridge.
"Is he always like that?" asked Raf.
"Seems so." answered Miko as she held out her hand for Raf.
"Hey It's okay." She said, "Let's find out what they want."
Raf was a bit nervous but he grabbed Miko's hand and they both went through the groundbridge and Ravage and Breakdown followed.
Soon enough they came aboard the Nemesis.
"Welcome aboard the Nemesis." Announced Ravage.
They were amazed to see the ship and even the other eighteen robots, two of them were Soundwave and Airachnid. Airachnid was hanging on the ceiling. Once inside Soundwave closed the groundbridge.
"Three? I thought you said there were only two, Ravage." Said Starscream.
"Haven't you heard Scream? Humans multiply." said Ravage.
"I'm Raf." said Raf introducing himself.
Jack ran up to Soundwave and Airachnid.
"Hey It's you two! I'm Jack, remember me?" said Jack.
"Hi." said Airachnid waving her hand at him.
"Can you change into anything? What's with the spider theme? Err...why are you up there?" Jack asked, not leaving time for answers.
"So which one of you is the leader? Is it you?" Miko asked Starscream.
"No, I'm the second in command. My name is Starscream." He said.
"So who's the boss then?" Asked Jack grumply.
"That, I suppose, would be me." Said a voice from behind the three kids.
They turned around and saw the tallest of all those robots, Megatron.
"I am Megatron of Tarn. Leader of the Decepticon Resistance." Introduced Megatron.
"Why are you here?" asked Miko.
"To protect your planet from the Autobots." answered Megatron.
"The Jokers who attacked you two last night." Airachnid said to Jack and Miko.
"Ok, but why are they here?" asked Miko again.
"A fair question Miko. They are here because our home planet Cybertron is now uninhabitable, ravaged and consumed by eons of civil war." Megatron explained crouching down to the children's height.
"Why were you fighting a war?" asked Raf.
"The main cause of the war was over political idealism: we fight for truth, freedom and equality. The Autobots fight for power, conquest and supremacy over other lifeforms. Secondly was for control of our world supply of energon, the lifeblood of all cybertronians, Decepticons and Autobots alike. The combat was fierce and endured for millions of years. In the beginning, the leader of the Autobots was one whom I considered a brother, he was humble and honest. But in war ideals can be corrupted, so he betrayed me in order to fulfill his own selfish lust for power. And it was thus that Optimus Prime, Warlord of Iacon...was born." Megatron explained carefully.
"OH! Bad-guy number one!" Exclaimed Jack.
"So, what does Optimus or any of this...have to do with us?" Miko asked.
"Optimus has not been seen or heard from in some time. But if his return is imminent, as I fear, it could be catastrophic for all of us." Megatron said.
Meanwhile on the Hyperion, Blaster approached Ultra Magnus for communicating something to him.
"Those transmissions are emanating from deep space. It could be a glitch and I would hate to waste the energon. Unless you are absolutely certain." Ultra Magnus said, earning a nod from Blaster. "Then lock on these transmission coordinates, and activate the space bridge." Ultra Magnus ordered an Auto-trooper.
Out in Earth's orbit a giant cybertronian structure was activated, creating a big green vortex similar to the ground bridge. Suddenly, an object drove through the vortex, a cybertronian heavy truck, purple and blue with the same purple emblem of the Autobots with a trailer transporting some kind of toxic green crystals. It transformed into a cybertronian jet and flew in the middle of the space bridge and then it transformed into a tall sinister robot with blood red eyes. The leader of the Autobots has returned: Optimus Prime.
"AUTOBOTS, I HAVE RETURNED!" He said triumphantly.
