Chapter 9: Kaleidoscope

After his battle with Blade, Garren, and Chalice, Junichi had retreated to a warehouse in the docks. There he made contact with his master, Dark Decade, to report what had happened.

Despite Junichi's failure to capture and secure Illya, Dark Decade was deeply intrigued by Chalice's appearance.

"I see. So, Chalice had made his move." Dark Decade said.

"Yes. But it was because of that, I failed to capture the Einzbern child and bring her to you. Please forgive me, my lord." Junichi said.

"You are forgiven, Glaive. If anything, I'm not mad about this, instead I'm more intrigued by this." Dark Decade told him, and Junichi blinks to hear that.

"You are?"

"Yes. Well setbacks like that can be common, I'm more interested in why Chalice would make his move now of all times." Dark Decade said.

Junichi then remembers how Chalice attacks him and how he came to Illya's protection when he attempted to capture her.

"I may have an idea about that." Junichi said, and that got his master's attention.

"Really? Then what is it?" Dark Decade questions him.

"If I had to guess, he seems rather close to the Einzbern child. This is only a theory, but he must have assumed a form of someone who's close to her." Junichi answered.

Dark Decade hummed in thought.

"If so, then that's all the more reason we need to get our hands on her. Because once she falls under our control, then it will only be a matter of time before the same happens with Chalice." Dark Decade said.

"Yes, of course. I happened to feel the same way. Please allow me to handle it, Master. I promise you; I will capture the Einzbern girl and bring her to you and I'll even bring the Sakatsuki child as a bonus." Junichi said and Dark Decade chuckles in amusement.

"Bold words but very well. You'll have your chance, Glaive. I expect good news from you soon." Dark Decade said before he ended the transmission.

After that, Junichi then thought back on how the Chalice of this world had interfered with his plans on capturing Illya. It reminded him of how the Chalice in his old world had interfered in his plans more than once, and how he ruined his plans of destroying Blade, Garren and Leangle by sacrificing himself which weakened him and gave the three Riders the chance to destroy him.

Junichi grits his teeth and punches the wall in rage. Guess he should be grateful for his servitude towards Dark Decade, because it gave him a chance to have his revenge by destroying the Riders in this world along with making Chalice suffer.

Junichi grins as he tightly clenches his hands.

"Just you wait Chalice…Because I'm going to make sure you'll suffer a fate worse than death." Junichi said before he began to laugh.

(Round ZERO~BLADE BRAVE by Nanase Aikawa)

The song starts with colored lights shining in a dark room, revealing Kamen Rider Blade, Garren, and Chalice who were kneeling before they stood up.

The setting soon moves into a similar place and all the main characters of the story so far are standing on separate platforms with black suits.

(Tatta hitorikiri kimi no sonzai ga) (The camera zooms in on a few of the characters before zooming in on Kouji Kenzaki, who took a bite out of an apple he was holding and smiled. Then it moves to Shinichi Tachibana who was kicking a soccer ball around.)

(Itsuka sekai no subete kaeru darou) (Then it moved to Illya who was spinning around with Ruby flying around her. Then we see Miyu waving her hand as Sapphire flies onto her shoulder. We then see Luvia doing her laugh which annoys Rin as she growls at her, which made Jeanne sigh seeing those two bicker. Then moves to Shirou doing a spin kick as he lands on his knee and foot before he raises his head up.)

(Koko ni aru mo no wa kibou? Zetsubou?) (We soon see Blade, Garren, and Chalice driving their bikes through a beach. We soon see Illya and Miyu wearing their magical girl outfits flying in the sky.)

(Round Zero hajimatteru) (We soon moved back to the Riders room where Blade, Garren, and Chalice were not far from each other and were next to their bikes, before they started practicing their weapons.)

(Shiranai to iu tsumi to shirisugiru wana) (The three continue practicing their weapons while we move to Illya and Miya doing the same using their Include weapons.)

(Ugokenaku naru mae ni ugokidasou) (We then move back towards Blade, Garren, and Chalice riding through the beach. Then it moves back to Chalice in the room practicing his weapon.)

(Kaze ni mekurareta Card) (The three Riders practice their weapons while posing. Blade was swinging his Blay Rouzer, Garren aiming his Garren Rouzer, and Chalice was swinging and spinning with his Chalice Arrow.)

(Uranau you ni warau. Mayowanai hazu mo nai sore demo ashita wo sagase) (We move to Albino Joker swinging in a separate room swinging his scythe around before he changes into the Kamen Rider Glaive practicing with his Glaive Rouzer as he swings it around.)

(Mekurumeku unmei. Koware sou na jidai ni.) (We then move back to Blade swinging his Rouzer upward. Then it changes to Blade, Garren, and Chalice riding down the beach.)

(Kirifuda wa kimi no naka togisumasareta yuuki ni shite BLADE BRAVE!) (Blade stops swinging his sword for a brief moment as he lowers his Rouzer and stands up, before the logo appears as Garren and Chalice walk next to him.)

It was now nighttime in Fuyuki City. The Riders and their allies were standing on the roof of a tall building where the 7th and last Class Card is located, except for Illya and Ruby who chose to resign from the hunt as she couldn't handle the fear of danger anymore.

"So I guess Illya-chan chose to stay behind." Garren said and Rin nodded.

"Yeah. I tried asking Ruby to reform her contract with me…But you know her." Rin said, Jeanne and Luvia nodded in understanding.

"That's to be expected. It goes to show how your crude personality has affected her." Luvia stated and Rin glared at her.

"Like you're one to talk! Didn't Sapphire leave you too?! Maybe you're the crude one!" Rin exclaimed and Luvia glared at her.

"Care to repeat that statement!" Luvia said as they growled at each other.

"Ahem."

Both Rin and Luvia flinched before they saw Jeanne giving them a dark look, so they instantly calmed down and bowed their heads.

"We're sorry." They said at the same time and Jeanne sighed while mending a temple.

"I swear…I'm starting to believe they'll never change." Jeanne said and Blade nervously chuckled.

"You're not the only one, and I only know them for a few weeks." Blade said.

"But Illya did give me this." Rin said before she brought out and showed the Archer Card. "It may not be much, but it should give us an edge."

"Besides the fact that it's useless, like you." Luvia said and Rin growled at her before they noticed Jeanne sharply looking at them which caused them to flinch and lowered their heads to apologize once again.

"We're sorry."

Jeanne sighed before she spoke.

"In anycase, we'll have to make do with what and who we have. And we'll have to be ready for anything that comes our way." The others nodded in agreement.

Blade then turns to Miyu.

"Are you sure you're up for this, Miyu-chan? You were hurt pretty badly." Blade told her.

"I'll be fine. Sapphire was able to heal most of my injuries. Besides, the sooner we finish this objective, then this long hunt will finally be over." Miyu told him.

"Alright. Just try not to overexert yourself." Blade said and Miyu nodded.

"I will. Sapphire." Miyu said.

"Hai. Forming limited-dimension Mirror Road." Sapphire said before she brought out the magic circle beneath their feet. "Beginning partial inversion of Mirror World Circuits."

"Jump."

With that everyone soon teleports to the Mirror World, but unknown to them is that Junichi was spying on them on top of another building and was using high-tech binoculars.

Junichi smiles before he lowered the binoculars.

"Now then, will I witness the end of Blade and his friends or will I see a miracle concur." Junichi said with some excitement in his voice.

The Riders and their allies soon found themselves in the Mirror World, and saw it was once again smaller than its previous size as it only surrounds the building they are currently standing on.

"Dang…You weren't kidding on how this place was going to get smaller." Blade said as he and the others studied their surroundings.

"Indeed. We'll have a greater disadvantage than before." Jeanne said.

"Well at least it's easier to find the Heroic Spirit this time." Luvia said.

"But where is it?" Rin said as she and the others looked for the Heroic Spirit in this area.

That's when Rin got her answer as they heard a loud crashing sound nearby.

Everyone looked and saw the Heroic Spirit standing on top of a higher platform.

The Heroic Spirit was massive in size with large muscles to match his physique. He had long and wild black hair, his right eye was colored while his left was golden-yellow. His dark skin and statue-like appearance almost makes him look like a black giant and has a large number of spikes on his elbows. The Heroic Spirit wears metal bands on his ankles and wrists along with a warrior kilt.

"I think we found it." Blade said.

"Way to state the obvious." Garren commented.

"So that's the last Heroic Spirit. Berserker." Jeanne said.

Berserker roars before he jumps down and attacks them; they soon get out of the way as Berserker's massive fist smashed into the ground.

"Shoot!" Miyu said as she and Garren fired at Berserker with their respective weapons.

But their attacks couldn't even scratch his skin, both Garren and Miyu were stunned by this.

"What the?" Miyu said.

"There's not even a scratch on him." Garren said.

Berserker roars before he charges at Miyu to attack, she dodges it by jumping above the massive Heroic Spirit, she was about to summon a platform to attack him from above but her back landed on the ceiling of the Mirror World.

"Oh, no. I've forgotten about the limited space." Miyu said.

Berserker then jumps at Miyu to grab, acting quickly, Blade pulls out and scans his Mach Card on his Rouzer.

[MACH]

Using Mach's power of speed, Blade dashes to Miyu before he jumps and grabs onto as they avoided Berserker's hand and soon landed on the ground.

"You okay, Miyu-chan?" Blade asked.

"Yes. Thank you." Miyu nodded.

"This isn't good. The smaller space here leaves us with a severe disadvantage. Aerial combat is near impossible." Sapphire analyzed the combat situation before Berserker turned to them and was ready to attack but Garren fired at with his gun to get his attention.

But just like before, Garren's bullet didn't even leave a mark on his skin.

"And long-range attacks don't seem to faze him either." Garren said before he avoids an incoming punch from Berserker.

"Then let's see how he'll handle these!" Rin said before she and Luvia brought out their jewels and threw them at Berserker, they exploded when they hit the Heroic Spirit creating a smoke cloud. "How'd you like that?!"

Then the smoke cleared, and Berserker showed that he was unharmed by their attacks which left Rin and Luvia dumbfounded.

"Eh?" They blink before Berserker roars and jumps at them to attack.

Acting quickly, Jeanne used her transmutation to create several stone walls in front of Berserker which saved both Rin and Luvia lives as his giant fist smashed into most of them.

"You need to move now!" Jeanne told them as Berserker was ready to throw another punch, both Rin and Luvia jumped out of the way as the Heroic Spirit's second punch shattered the stone walls and smashed into the ground.

Jeanne used her transmutation once again to create iron spikes at Berserker, but they shattered the moment they made contact with his hardened skin.

Jeanne curses under her breath before Berserker charges at her to attack and Jeanne avoids it by rolling on the ground.

"You, okay?" Blade moved to her side as Jeanne stood back up.

"I am." Jeanne nodded as they looked at Berserker. "I know this is going to be difficult, but I didn't imagine this. Our attacks can't pierce through that skin of his."

"Well…Let's see if it can handle this." Blade said before he spoke to Rin and Luvia. "Tohsaka! Edelfelt! Got any more of those stones left?"

"We do! But they're useless against this thing." Rin said as Miyu kept Berserker distracted as she avoided his attacks.

"I have an idea, just aim for the head!" Blade told them.

Rin blinks to hear that but nodded regardless.

"What the hell. It's not like we have nothing to lose." Rin said.

"As much as I dislike taking orders, there's no time to argue." Luvia said before she and Rin brought out their gems. "Miyu, get clear!"

Miyu jumps away from Berserker as the Heroic Spirit throws a punch at her, using that moment, Rin and Luvia throw their gems at Berserker's face as they explode.

Their attack managed to blind Berserker as his eyes were damaged and there was a smoke cloud around his head.

"Alright! It's do or die!" Blade said as he opened his Rouzer's Open Tray.

Blade pulls out his Thunder and Slash Cards to scan them on his Rouzer.

[SLASH]

[THUNDER]

[LIGHTNING SLASH]

Blade then assumes his stance as the power of the Cards went into his sword as lighting appeared around it.

Blade then charges at Berserker and manages to slash through his waist as his attack manages to cut the Heroic Spirit's hardened skin.

Blade then turns in front of Berserker and thrusts his sword into its heart, Berserker groans for a moment before Blade pulls out his sword and moves away from it as the Heroic Spirit falls to the ground.

Everyone then looks at the lifeless Berserker while still having some concern it was actually dead.

"Is it dead?" Rin asked.

Blade then pokes at Berserker's body a few times with his Blay Rouzer, and it doesn't respond.

"Yeah…Yeah. I think it's…" Blade said before they saw Berserker slamming his large hand on the ground and saw the once dead Heroic Spirit standing back up as his wounds began to instantly heal.

"The hell?!" Blade said in shock by Berserker's sudden revival.

Berserker roared and threw a punch at Blade, and it was too late to avoid it. Miyu quickly moves in and creates a shield to block his fist for a moment before it begins to crack up, Blade then grabs onto Miyu and jumps out of the way before Berserker's fist shatters her shield.

Blade and Miyu stood back up and turned to the once dead Berserker who was growling at them.

"How is this possible? I pierce its heart; it should be dead!" Blade said.

"Just what is going on?" Rin said.

Jeanne narrows her eyes at Berserker who was able to revive himself after being killed.

"Is it possible?" Jeanne said.

Berserker roars before he starts to attack the Riders and their friends as they avoid his attacks.

Blade counters by slashing on his leg but his sword wasn't able to cut through its skin before he was forced to jump away to avoid an attack from Berserker.

"Damn it! Now we're back to square one!" Blade said before he avoided another attack from Berserker.

"If only we had the Saber and Lancer Cards, they would've helped turn the tide!" Luvia said.

After hearing that, Garren remembers how Glaive had used the powers of the Saber and Assassin Cards with his Rouzer. That Garren had an idea as he looked at his own Rouzer, it was a long shot, it was better than nothing.

Garren then calls out to Rin.

"Tohsaka! Throw me the Archer Card!" Rin turns to him in shock.

"What?" She said.

"I have an idea! But I need you to trust me!" Garren said before he avoids an incoming attack from Berserker by rolling on the ground. "Now would be good!"

Rin thought about it before she looked at the powerful Berserker, she then brought out the Archer Card and turned to Garren.

"Fine! But you better give it back!" Rin told him before she throws the Class Card to him and Garren catches it.

"Thanks!" Garren said before he opened the Rouzer's Tray "Here goes nothing."

Garren then pulls out his Bullet and Fire Cards to scan them on his Rouzer along with the Archer.

[BULLET]

[FIRE]

[ARCHER]

After his third scan, flames soon appeared around his gun, and it soon took the form of a bow and arrow with the bow folded back.

Everyone was shocked to see that, including Garren.

"Huh…I wasn't sure that was going to work." Garren said before heard Berserker roaring and saw the Heroic Spirit charging at him to attack. "But better late than never!"

Garren aimed his gun and the bow's limbs spring out and the string of fire pulled back to the gun's rear.

Just as Berserker throws a punch at him, Garren pulls the trigger and fires his flaming fire on its chest which explodes. The attack sends the Heroic Spirit to the ground as he now has a hole on his chest.

Garren sighed in relief before he wiped his hand on his forehead.

"That was a close call." Garren said.

"That's an understatement. You've never been one to gamble like that." Blade said and Garren shrugged.

"First time for everything."

Garren then looked at his Rouzer's AP count and saw it was now zero.

"Though it seems like it's a one time attack only." Garren said before he looked at Berserker's lifeless body. "But I say it was a worthwhile gamble."

They then look at the now lifeless Berserker.

"Do you think it's dead this time?" Rin asked.

"Logically I would say yes, but we already saw this guy brought himself to life. Kouji, cut this thing's head off with your sword." Garren told him and Blade was surprised he would suggest that.

"Jeez! That's a little gruesome, don't you think?" Blade asked.

"Hey, it's better to be safe than sorry." Garren told him.

Before anyone could reply to that, they heard a loud footstep behind Garren.

Everyone, except for Garren, saw who made that loud footstep and were shocked by this.

Garren turned back to Berserker and saw he was now standing on his feet once again as the hole on his chest had fully healed.

"What the…?" Garren said.

Berserker then throws a punch at Garren and it was too late to dodge it as Berserker's large fist slams into his face and chest which shatters the right lens of his helmet along with pieces of his helmet before Garren rolls and crashes on and crashed into the railing.

"Shinichi!" Blade said in worry before he rushed to his friend's side and knelt down to him. "Are you okay?"

Garren wasn't able to respond as he groaned while coughing and Blade grabbed onto his hand.

"Just hang on! You need to stay awake!" Blade told him.

Berserker wasn't done with them yet as he charged at the Riders to attack them, but Miyu fired a shot on his head which made Berserker stop and turned at her.

"Over here. Come get me." Miyu told the giant Heroic Spirit.

Berserker roars before he charges at her to attack. Miyu dodges it by jumping above it and is right in front of Berserker's face, she is ready to fire at him but the colossal Heroic Spirit manages to catch her with his other hand.

Just by grabbing her, Berserker was able to deal her damage as she groaned.

"Miyu!" Everyone said in worry.

Berserker was going to crush her to death, Blade soon pulled out his Beat Card to scan it on his Rouzer.

[BEAT]

After absorbing the power of the Beat Card, energy channels around Blade's fist before he jumps at Berserker and punches him on the head, sending the massive Heroic Spirit to the ground and letting go of Miyu as Blade grabs onto her as he lands on the ground.

"Miyu-chan, are you alright?" Blade asked.

"I-I'll manage…" Miyu mutters as she is ready to stand up and fight but ends up groaning instead.

"Hey, don't force yourself." Blade told her.

Berserker was about to stand back up, but Jeane acted quickly and used her transmutation to break apart the floor it was on and send him falling into the building.

"Nice work, Jeanne." Blade said.

"Thank you, but he won't stay down for long. We need to retreat." Jeanne said and the others nodded in agreement.

Blade then handed the injured Miyu to Jeanne as she carried her and Blade rushed to the injured Garren and helped him stand up with his arm on his shoulders.

Just as Berserker was about to climb back up, everyone made a rush to the door to enter the building to hide from the Heroic Spirit but Blade moved slower due to him helping Garren stand and run.

"Just…leave me…I'll only slow you down…" Garren mutters before he groans.

"I don't want to hear that talk! We're getting out of here together. Besides, I won't want to break the news to your dad that he doesn't have a son anymore." Blade said.

They then begin to move down the stairs but they could still hear Berserker roaring as he smashed through everywhere around him to find his enemies.

At the Emiya house, Shirou is seen outside of his home as he was working on a motorcycle he had acquired a few days ago. He took an interest in these vehicles after seeing Blade and Garren riding on their own motorcycles.

"Such a fascinating and complicated vehicle. Yet strangely, I can't help but feel drawn to it." Shirou said before Sella called out to him.

"Shirou, dinner is almost ready!"

Shirou then put his tools away before he heard a loud car engine along with a crash.

"What hell…!" Shirou said.

Concerned about this, Shirou rushed to the front of his house and saw a car that appeared to be just fine despite the loud crash.

That's when he heard the driver trying to open the door but only to find that it's jam.

"Strange. I can't open the door. Oh well." The driver then begins to kick the door a few times and manage to force it open.

The driver then quickly steps out of the car and heads inside of the house while ignoring Shirou. Shirou saw who the driver was and was surprised to see her.

"Was that…?" Shirou said.

(Break line)

Illya was in the bathroom taking a bath. She still felt a bit guilty staying behind while her friends were fighting against the last Heroic Spirit but she was sure they could handle it.

"It's fine. I don't have to do anything. I'm sure Miyu and the others can handle it." Illya said before someone suddenly opened the door and entered the bathroom.

"Hiya, Illya-chan! Long time no see!"

It was the driver who made that loud car crash and entered the house.

She greatly resembles Illya right down to the color of her hair and eyes. She was wearing a red-maroon long sleeve shirt with a white skirt along with black leggins and white high end boots.

This is Irisviel von Einzbern, Illya's mother.

"Mama?!" Illya said.

Shortly after Iris entered the room, she took off her clothes and joined Illya in the bath as she was seated behind her daughter with a smile on her face while Illya was still a bit surprised by this.

'How did it come to this?' Illya thought to herself.

"I'm really tired from my long trip. This way, I can have my bath right away and enjoy some intimacy with my cute, beloved daughter. Two birds with one stone!" Iris said before she notices that Ruby was in the bathroom to enjoy a bath of her own in a bowl, but after Iris arrived she quickly remained still and acted as an inanimate object. "Oh, what's this?"

Iris picks up Ruby by her wing to look at her.

"Toys in the bath? You're still a little girl, Illya-chan!" Iris said with a teasing tone.

"Huh? Y-You think so?" Illya said before she quickly took Ruby out of her hand and put her in the bathwater and Ruby gurgled. "B-By the way, Mama. You sure came back without any warning."

Iris hummed before she pinched on her daughter's cheek.

"Oh? Is there a problem with me coming back without warning?" She asked.

"No, not really." Illya answered.

"My work's done for now, so I came back alone. Kiritsugu's still over there though, so I'll have to leave again soon." Iris explained to her daughter.

"I see."

"That's why I'm here to see how my daughter's growing-" Iris said before she suddenly touches Illya which caused her to be embarrassed. "I mean, to enjoy some intimacy."

"Isn't this a little too much intimacy?" Illya questions her.

Unknown to Illya and Iris is that Shirou was standing outside of the bathroom as he was standing beside the door and listening to their conversation.

After she was done with checking Illya's body growth, Iris then asked Illya a question.

"So…Did anything out of the ordinary happen while I was away?"

Illya flinched before she shook her head.

"No, not really."

"Oh, come on." Iris chuckled. "Something happened, right? Something really out of the ordinary."

Both Illya and Ruby grew concerned to hear that before Iris said this.

"I'm talking about that mansion on the other side of the street! I can't believe they built that in the short time I was away. I thought for a moment that I was on the wrong street."

Illya chuckles while being relieved that was what she meant.

"According to Sella, one of your classmates lives there, doesn't she?" Iris said.

"Oh…Yeah." Illya said before Iris placed her hands on her shoulders.

"What's her name?"

"Miyu."

"Miyu-chan, huh? She transferred in, right? Did you become friends?"

"Yeah."

"So, Illya. What's Miyu-chan like?"

"Let's see…Umm…Miyu is…"

The Riders and their friends were able to find shelter in a hallway several floors below the roof, but they could feel it shaking due to Berserker searching them by smashing through floor by floor.

Blade had placed the injured Garren on a wall to continue to check on him and Jeanne spoke to the former.

"How is he?"

"Not well. He needs a doctor." Blade said before he turned to Miyu who was seated on the floor with Luvia next to her. "Is Miyu-chan, alright?"

"Don't worry. I managed to protect her from the worst of it and I'm already healing her wounds." Sapphire told them.

"That's good." Blade said before they all heard Berserker roaring along with some smashing which shook the hallway they were in.

"But it would've been better if that Spirit wasn't so difficult to beat!" Rin said before the hallway shook once again.

"I quite agree. This may not be the outcome I hope for, but I now have an idea who Berserker is." Jeanne said.

"Really?" Blade said, and Jeanne nodded.

"Then who?" Luvia said.

"He's the demi-god, Heracles." Jeanne said and the others were shocked to hear that.

"Heracles?" Blade said.

"As in the greatest hero in Greek mythology?" Rin said, and Jeanne nodded.

"Yes. His resurrection ability could be his Noble Phantasm. According to the legends, it was once said that Heracles had undergone twelve labors and with each labor he completed, Heracles had died and was brought back to life." Jeanne said.

"And we already killed him twice. So we need to kill him at least ten more times until he stays dead." Luvia said.

"Yeah…" Blade said before they felt the hallway shaking due to Berserker's rampage. "Like that's going to be easy!"

"Indeed. We need to retreat and try again after we make a new strategy." Jeanne said.

"I hate to run and hide, but it doesn't look like we have much of a choice." Rin said.

"I quite agree even though I loathe to do that." Luvia nodded.

"Sapphire, prepare the jump." Jeanne told her and Sapphire nodded.

"I'm on it. Forming Mirror Road, now." Sapphire said and the magic circle appeared beneath them. "Jumping in three, two, on…"

But in that moment, Miyu raises her head and jumps out of the magic circle while leaving Blade and the others behind which surprised them.

"Miyu?!" Luvia said.

"Miyu-sama?!" Sapphire asked.

"I can handle things from here." Miyu told them.

"Wait, Miyu-chan!" Blade calls out before the circle transport him and the others back to the real world while Miyu stays behind.

"Miyu-sama, what are you doing! We have to retreat now!" Sapphire told her master.

"No, I can handle this by myself." Miyu told her.

"But you heard Jeanne-sama! This is the hero Heracles! A legend known for his strength and prowess in combat, not to mention he still has ten lives left! We can't defeat him just by ourselves!" Sapphire tried to reason with her but Miyu refused to listen as she still had one trick up her sleeve.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine. Since I still have this." Miyu said as she pulled out the Archer Card. She took this Card from Rin when she wasn't looking.

"Archer? But Shinichi-sama already uses that." Sapphire said and Miyu shook her head.

"No, he didn't. He only used it as a combo between his cards, he didn't use its true power." Miyu said.

"True power?" Sapphire said in some confusion.

Miyu then thought back on how Illya had transformed with this Card. It was a long shot, but it might be her best and only option.

Miyu then threw the Class Card to the floor and placed Sapphire on top of it and a magic circle appeared beneath her.

"Are you…" Sapphire said.

"I hereby propose. Thy body shall be mine, and why sword shall be mine to wield. Abiding by the summons of the Holy Grail, if thou dost accede to this will and reason, answer me!

During her incantation, Berserker had arrived as he smashed through the ceiling and soon found Miyu and charged towards her.

"Miyu-sama, he's here!" Sapphire told her but Miyu continued with her incantation.

"I hereby swear. I will be all that is good in the eternal world. Thou, the seven clad in Divine Trinity, come forth from the circle of constraint. Guardian of the Heavenly Scales…" Berserker throws a punch at Miyu before she finishes by shouting. "Install!"

A tornado soon appeared around Miyu which blocked Berserker's fist and pushed him back.

When the tornado disappeared, Miyu was now standing before the mighty Heracles in a new form.

Miyu's outfit for Archer was in a similar design as Illya's when she first used it with a few modifications. Miyu was wearing a red bandana with a black chestplate and her right arm was exposed.

"Trace on." Miyu uses Archer's power to create the black and white swords that Illya used when she battled Glaive.

Now armed with the swords, Miyu faced Berserker and was ready to fight him once again.

"Come, Hero Heracles. I'll put an end to your madness." Miyu said before Berserker roars and charges at Miyu to attack.

After her bath and receiving encouragement from her mother, Illya quickly runs out of her house and heads to where Miyu is fighting to help her.

As Illya ran for a short moment, a Rider riding on a motorcycle appeared as they jumped over and landed in front of her as the bike spun around.

Illya stops as she sees that the Rider was Chalice riding on his own motorcycle.

The motorcycle is based around a Honda XR250 colored black and red with large golden markings with two blade attachments on the sides on the head pointed forward.

This is Chalice's personal Rider Machine, the Shadow Chaser.

Illya was deeply amazed to see Chalice again along with seeing his own motorcycle. Chalice then spoke to her.

"Need a ride?" Chalice asked, and Illya blinked before she nodded. "Then get on. You need to help your friend, right?"

Illya was surprised at first and while she wasn't sure why, but for some strange reason, she was willing to trust Chalice. She then sat behind him on his motorcycle and he soon began to rev up the engine.

"Hang on tight." Chalice said and Illya held onto him before the Rider drove forward with his motorcycle as they raced to where Blade and the others were fighting Berserker.

Unknown to Chalice and Illya, one of Junichi's Albiroachies was spying on Illya and saw how she left with Chalice. It soon flies into the air to report to its master.

In the Mirror World, Miyu had to battle the mighty Berserker which seemed like an eternity. She was able to kill him three times using Archer's powers, but each time Berserker revived himself, he came back stronger and her attacks grew ineffective against him.

Now, Miyu had fallen on one knee and is left panting as she now wields a replica of Saber's sword Excalibur after she used it to behead Berserker to kill him once again but just like before Berserker resurrected once again and was now standing on his feet.

Miyu greets her teeth as she forces herself to stand back up.

"I…I have to finish this…Not just for my sake…But for her sake too!" Miyu shouted before she channeled the power of Excalibur as a massive golden blade made out of light appeared around the blade. "Excalibur!"

Miyu swung the mighty sword at Berserker which created a large explosion inside of the building.

Her attack left a large hole in the building and no trace of Berserker. Miyu pants for a moment before she reaches her limit and the Archer Card ejects from her chest and Sapphire falls to the ground, Miyu was now wearing her regular clothes as she falls on her hands and knees.

"Out of mana? Miyu-sama!" Sapphire said in worry as she sat up.

"Come back here, Sapphire. Replenish my mana right now." Miyu told her.

"Y-Yes." Sapphire said.

But then, Berserker's massive arm raised up from behind Sapphire before he grabbed onto the Kaleidostick.

Berserker growls as he climbs back on the floor and glares at Miyu who was looking at him in shock.

"No…way…" She mutters.

"M-Miyu-sama!" Sapphire shouted as she struggled to break free.

Berserker roars loudly while Miyu could only sit on the ground as she was now powerless to do anything.

'This…This is where I'll…'

Berserker soon raised his large first ready to finish Miyu off before he swung it down, Miyu could only close her eyes to await her impending demise…

But then someone jumps down to her rescue and swung a blade right down in front of Berserker before blood shot out from it.

Miyu saw that her savior was Illya, wearing her magical girl outfit and with Ruby in hand, as she jumped back and Miyu's eyes widened to see her.

"Illya?"

"Sorry I'm late, Miyu."

"Why?"

"Because, Miyu…" Illya said before she stood up and turned to her. "You're an important…friend to me!"

"Friend…" Miyu mutters.

Illya then saw that Berserker was now back on his feet as his wound healed, he was about to charge in to attack but…

[TORNADO]

Someone then fired wind arrow shots on Berserker's head which caused him to stumble back. Both Illya and Miyu saw it was Chalice armed with his weapon.

"You really shouldn't let your guard down like that." Chalice told her.

"Right!" Illya nodded.

After the wounds on his face healed up, Berserker soon saw three sets of magic stones heading towards and they were thrown by Rin and Luvia as both magus cast a spell.

"Gleipnir!"

Energy bindings then appear and restrain Berserker's body, that's when Jeanne jumps down and claps her hands before she slams them to the ground, she soon created iron chains that also restrain Berserker's body.

"It's working!" Rin said.

The bindings and chains then pulled Berserker to the ground. As he struggles to break free, a magic crystal then appears around the Heroic Spirit before the three magus stood in front of him.

"Magecraft of the ten-count level really does work on him." Luvia said and Rin chuckled.

"Yes. But this is still Heracles we're dealing with, we can't afford to lower our guard against him." Jeanne said.

Blade soon arrived before he rushed to Miyu to check on her.

"Miyu-chan! Are you okay?"

"Yeah…" Miyu nodded.

Illya then picks up Sapphire before Miyu stood up and spoke to her.

"Why are you here?" Miyu asked.

"Sorry." Illya said and Miyu blinked. "I was an idiot. I just went with the flow and fought without any resolve. I thought this had nothing to do with me and that none of this was real. But…"

Tears then begin to form on Illya's eyes as she continues on.

"When I realized this was real and something dangerous, everything became really scary."

"Illya-chan." Blade said in concern and Chalice silently stared at her.

"Illya…" Miyu said.

"But the really idiotic thing I did was run away without thinking of my friend's feelings. Even though I knew you were trying really hard, all alone, to make up for my absence!" Illya then turns to Miyu to bow her head. "So…I'm sorry! I know this is late, but I want to fight by your side again! I don't want to let my friend face danger all alone!"

Miyu blinks before she smiles in gratitude.

"Thank you. I want to fight by your side too. With my friend."

Illya then walks to Miyu to return Sapphire to her.

"Let's do this, Miyu." Illya said.

"Yeah." Miyu said as she grabbed onto Sapphire.

Blade along with Jeanne, Rin and Luvia smiles at them.

"Those two." Blade said.

"Well, looks like we've done our part." Rin said.

"Much has happened, but their relationship is finally how it should be." Luvia said.

"Yes. Though this wouldn't have happened if certain people I know had learned to control their anger." Jeanne said and Rin and Luvia flinched.

Rin then coughs in her hand.

"I was never really worried about that. The real problem is that I've used up way too many gemstones!" Rin said with tears in her eyes.

"Good grief." Luvia sighed. "Why would you complain about that now? You really are a peasant."

"Shut up, you upstart!" Rin exclaimed.

"Ahem!"

Both Rin and Luvia flinch before they notice that Jeanne gave them a kind smile with a dark glare over her eyes.

"We're sorry." They said as they lowered her heads.

Jeanne sighed before they noticed that Berserker was beginning to break out of his bindings and from his crystal prisons.

"Damn it. I should've known this would only hold him for so long." Jeanne said.

"I guess this is to be expected from Heracles." Rin said.

Berserker then roars.

"Rin, Luvia, how many gemstones do you have left?" Jeanne asked.

Rin checks and sees that she only had a handful of her gemstones left.

"I only have a few left." Rin said.

"Me too." Luvia said.

"Meaning we don't have any fair odds here." Jeanne said.

"Jeanne!"

"Rin-san! Luvia-san!"

Blade along with Chalice, Illya and Miyu jumps down to them.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." Illya said.

"Um…" Miyu spoke out.

"We have an idea." Illya said.

After telling them the details of their idea, the three magus were a bit surprised to hear it.

"Huh?!" Rin said.

"Are you serious, Miyu?" Luvia asked.

"Yes." Miyu nodded and Illya nodded back.

"Yeah, I even found it crazy and I barely understood half of it. But what's your say in this, Jeanne?" Blade asked.

Jeanne thought about it before she gave her answer.

"Personally I find this to be truly insane. But given who we're up against, I suppose we have little choice. Can you truly succeed Illya-chan, Miyu-chan?" Jeanne asked.

"We do." They nodded at the same time.

"Okay." Jeanne said before they all face Berserker together. "Then it's do or die. We make our move the moment when he breaks out!"

Then as the bindings on Berserker's began to shatter, the Riders and their allies soon got ready before he roared and shattered the crystal.

"Scatter!" Blade shouted as they spread out and moved in different directions.

Illya attacks first by firing two energy shots at Berserker before they merge into a single shot but Berserker shatters it with his fist.

Illya then jumps into the air and sends two energy slashes at Berserker, the Heroic Spirit blocks the energy attacks which created a smoke cloud, then Berserker jumps out of it and reaches out to Illya to grab.

Acting quickly, Chalice jumps to Berserker as he scans his Chop Card on his Arrow.

[CHOP]

Thanks to that, Chalice manages to land an enhanced energy chop on Berserker's arm preventing him from touching Illya.

Rin and Luvia then used this chance to throw their remaining gemstones right in front of Berserker's face to create a flash of light that blinded him.

Illya then landed on the ground and charged at Berserker to aim Ruby right in front of him.

"Maximum output! Full power! Feuer!" Illya shouted as she fired a powerful energy blast that sent Berserker flying up and smashing through the roof of the building before he crashed on the roof of the Mirror World.

Waiting for him were Blade and Miyu as they were standing on the latter's magical platform, Blade then brought out and scanned his Kick and Thunder on his Rouzer.

[KICK]

[THUNDER]

[LIGHTNING BLAST]

"Alright! Miyu-chan, throw me!" Blade said.

Miyu nodded before she grabbed onto his arm and swung Blade around to throw him at Berserker, with electricity around his foot, Blade soon aimed his kick at Berserker and his attack pierce straight through his body.

While Blade landed on his knee and foot, Berserker fell to the ground which created a large explosion.

When Blade stood up, the others soon arrived on the roof as they looked at the smoke and flames around Berserker.

"Did that do it?" Blade said.

But then Berserker's once again revived himself as he stood up once again.

"No way…" Illya said.

Berserker then throws two large rocks at his enemies, Jeanne quickly acts and creates a wall of stone which causes both it and the rocks to shatter into pieces.

Berserker then approaches the Riders and the allies.

Blade checks the AP Count on his Rouzer and sees he is now out of AP.

"Damn it…I'm out of AP." Blade said.

"And I'm gemstones too." Rin said.

"Same." Luvia said.

While Illya wonders what to do, she then remembers the time she lost control of her powers, but she grew worried to remember that. She then saw Miyu stepping forward.

"I'll handle this. Illya, support me from behind." Miyu told her and Illya saw the trusting smile on her face before she faced Berserker.

"No, I'm fine." Illya shook her head before she walked to Miyu's side. "Thanks to you, I think I've realized something. There's no moving forward if you abandon your friends."

Responding to Illya's spirit and resolve, Ruby lit up.

"I think I've realized something, too." Miyu said and Sapphire lit up just like her sister. "Together, you can accomplish what you couldn't alone."

Then both Illya and Miyu brought the Kaleidosticks to combine their power.

"I promise. I will never abandon my friend and run away again." Illya swore to Miyu.

"Yes. I trust you, Illya. My important friend." Miyu said before the Archer Card appeared and they shouted this together.

"Parallel Include!"

Both Illya and Miyu created a large magic circle above it along with seven Excaliburs.

Blade along with Jeanne, Luvia and Rin were deeply amazed and stunned to see that.

"Holy shit…" Blade said.

"H-How is this possible?" Jeanne said.

Both Illya and Miyu then created an Excalibur for themselves.

"Together, the two of us can do anything!"

"Yes, let's push forward!"

"Together!" Both Illya and Miyu shouted.

Just as Berserker charges at them, Illya and Miyu aimed all the Excaliburs at him and fired a golden energy blast from each of them which merged into a massive energy blast.

When the blast hits Berserker, the Heroic Spirit stood his ground against it as he roared and Illya and Miyu roared as they put more power into their attack, with that Berserker's body was completely obliterated, finally killing him along with his remaining lives.

With Berserker's destruction, the Mirror World then begins to break apart as the fragments turn into golden dust.

Illya and Miyu then smile at each other in their victory against the final Heroic Spirit.

(Later)

After the Riders and their allies returned to the real world, they took a moment to rest as they sat down on the ground while Chalice chose to stand with his back against the wall.

"Man…And here I thought that the Undeads were tough to beat." Blade said before he noticed that the sun had begun to rise. "And it's already…"

"It appears so…" Jeanne said before she yawned.

"All right, let's fire a gigantic blast to celebrate!" Ruby suggested.

"Wait, what do you think you're doing?!" Illya said.

"You'd disturb the neighbors at his hour." Miyu told her.

"Miyu-sama, you are kind of missing the point." Sapphire told her.

Rin and Luvia soon call out to them to gain their attention.

"Illya."

"Miyu."

"Huh?/Yes?" Illya and Miyu said.

"I know we dragged you into this without asking, but I'm glad you were there." Rin told them.

"We probably wouldn't have won without you." Luvia told them.

"Thanks for fighting all the way to the end." Rin said.

"I'd like to express my appreciation as well." Luvia said.

"What? No thanks for me and Shinichi?" Blade questions them.

"Yes, of course. You have our thanks too." Rin said before she turned to Chalice. "Same to you too."

Chalice silently turned away from her.

"Hmmm…the silent type." Rin said.

Jeanne then smiles at them, Rin and Luvia may have had a rough start but she was proud to see how they had matured from their quest to collect the Class Cards.

"You two…" Jeanne said.

"By the way…Where's the Class Card?" Blade asked.

They looked and soon found the Berserker Card on the ground and was close to them, waiting for someone to take it.

That's when Luvia and Rin dashed to the Berserker Card to be the first to get it and Jeanne sighed to see that.

"Honestly…Just when I thought they finally matured." Jeanne said.

Just as Rin and Luvia reach out to the Class Card to get it, a familiar Rider jumps down in front of them as he punches Luvia in the face and kicks Rin in the stomach, sending both of them to the ground.

Everyone then saw that their attacker was Kamen Rider Glaive.

"Glaive!" Blade said as he and Chalice moved in front of the others to protect them and face Glaive.

But then Glaive looks down and picks up the Berserker Card.

"Thanks for doing the hard work for me. Now I have six Class Cards for my collection." Glaive said before he puts the Card into his Rouzer's Open Tray along with the other five Class Cards.

"They're not yours! They're mine!" Luvia said.

"No! They're mine!" Rin exclaimed at her.

"No mine!" Luvia said before they growled at each other and Jeane punched both of them on the head.

"How many times must I keep telling you?! We have no time for your bickering!" Jeanne said as Rin and Luvia rubs their heads.

"Right…We're sorry." They said.

Jeanne then stares at Glaive as he holsters his sword.

"Now I see. You were waiting in the shadows hoping that we'll defeat Berserker while you take the Card for yourself." Jeanne said and Glaive nodded.

"Correct. As much as I hate to admit it, even I would have trouble fighting against the mighty Hercules. So I really appreciate the hard work you did for me." Glaive said.

But that was only the half of the truth before he eyed Illya and Miyu, even after Glaive attacked their school, he knew that Illya wouldn't stand by and let her friends fight alone. Hence why he had his Albiroachi spying on her when she was at home and saw her rushing into the building to help Blade and the others after receiving some encouragement from her mother and having some assistance from Chalice.

That's when he witnessed the miracle that both Illya and Miyu had created which they used to destroy Berserker along with all of his remaining lives.

'No doubt the master will be deeply pleased to learn about this.' Glaive thought to himself.

"So what now then? Are you going to get the Archer Card next? If so…" Blade said before he and Chalice pulled out their respective weapons ready to fight him. "Don't expect we'll go out without a fight."

Everyone, excluding the injured Shinichi, were ready to fight Glaive as well. But he just hummed in thought.

"Hmm…As much as I want to, I think I'll pass for once." Glaive said which really surprised his enemies.

"What?" Blade said.

"I say gaining the Berserker Card is a worthwhile victory. I could always get the Archer Card another time, besides beating all of you in your current states will mean nothing to me. Take this time to recover and get stronger. Until then." Glaive said before he raised his hand and one of his Albiroachies had appeared and grabbed onto his hand as they flew away together.

"Wait!" Rin and Luvia called out but he was already gone along with the six Class Cards.

Both girls then fall on their hands and knees as tears begin to fall from their eyes.

Blade sighed while rubbing the back of his head before he changed to his civilian form.

"Just great. After everything we went through, he's the one who ended up with the most Class Cards." Kouji said.

"I quite agree." Jeanne said.

That's when everyone notices that Chalice was leaving and Illya calls out to him.

"Wait!"

Chalice stops and turns to her as she smiles at him with gratitude.

"Thank you for helping me." Illya said.

Chalice only stares at her before he turns away and speaks to her.

"It was nothing."

Chalice was about to leave but Blade stopped him as he spoke out.

"Wait!" Chalice then turns to him. "Well I appreciate your help too, I think we all deserve some answers. Like who are you and how do you have that belt?"

Chalice thought about it and soon said his answer before he turned away from Blade and the others.

"My name is Chalice."

"Chalice?" Blade said.

That's when Chalice jumps off the building, Blade, Jeanne and Illya move to the edge and see he is now gone.

"And just like that, he's gone again." Blade said.

"Just who is he?" Jeanne said.

"Your guess is as good as mine." Blade said before he turned to the injured Shinichi. "But we'll have to worry about that later. We need to get Shinichi to a hospital."

"Right, of course." Jeanne said before she and Blade moved to Shinichi.

Illya continues to think about Chalice, ever since the day she first met him, she can't help but shake this feeling that he was familiar to her like she knew him all her life.

"Who are you? Why do you keep on helping me?" Illya thought out loud.
