Following a Dangerous and Icy Lead
"This does not bold well for us." Celestia said while looking out the window with a firm and worried look on her face of her throne room.
"I can't believe something like this happened within our own city, our kingdom! Whoever has done this will feel the wrath of a thousand moons fallen right on top of them!" Luna was angered as she yells with her loud royalty voice.
"Believe me, sister. I'm angry about as much as you are, but we need to think clearly and try to understand the situation as to why this happened and what could've caused the six-legged bloodhound to go wild like that?" Celestia pointed out that they don't have all the facts yet.
"I believe Spike mentioned that it's been called the Savage Crimson Six-Legged Bloodhound now given that it changes itself into a stronger form." Luna mentioned.
"Which is something that should not have happened." Celestia stated.
Celestia went back to her desk and look over at the reports that was given to her by Twilight and another one from Spike himself, both telling her about what has happened since the incident with the bloodhound monster just yesterday and the Dragon Lord sharing his theory about an outside force having made the six-legged bloodhound attack the city.
"(According to the reports, Twilight and Spike took the bloodhound to Fluttershy seeing that it was forced to become like that through some dark magic.)" Celestia thought read the report.
"Is it still in the basement?" Celestia asked her little sister.
"If you mean the Savage Crimson Six-Legged Bloodhound, then yes." Luna answered.
"Let us go and see if we can help the poor thing." Celestia decided to help that monster in a way.
Celestia and Luna went to a sun and moon platform, it glows the mixture of their colors together for a few seconds then it raises up into a pillar for an instant as they teleported from their office and into the basement of their castle.
"I'm still surprised that nobody has thought about using teleportation magic through travels and such for the past few decades." Luna said.
"I know, but there was that incident with teleported every person in the world into random locations and it was a horrible event they went through, and that giant teleportation spell also caused them not be able to use teleportation magic again except for some magic items." Celestia reminded her of that.
"I know, glad we caught the culprit and execute him." Luna crossed her arms under her breasts.
"Now, let us focus on the bloodhound monster." Celestia said as they walk up to a large cage where Fluttershy is whispering to the creature calmly.
"How is the patient, Fluttershy?" Celestia asked.
"Greetings, your highnesses." Fluttershy bowed to the two princesses.
"This monster is being calm for the moment thanks to my skill, Peaceful Animal that allows me to not only talk to any animals and some monsters, but it also calms them down with my magic." Fluttershy explained about her Skill.
"But this one is a very hard case. My magic seems to only work temporary on him before he goes back to the rage and growls at me wanting to attack." Fluttershy looked back at the dog monster.
"But you two came here at just right time because I calmed him down again." Fluttershy mentioned.
"That's good to hear, Luna and I are going to try removing the dark magic that causes the six-legged bloodhound to become like this." Celestia nodded.
"Ah, the old Evil Removal spell. We hadn't used that spell in years, not since we helped that one wizard who was under an evil magic." Luna recalled that time and became good friends with him.
"Yes, I believe that was about 13 years ago." Celestia counted how long it has been since that incident.
"Please stay behind us." Luna ordered Fluttershy as she moves behind the two princesses.
"So, which one of us is going to do the spell?" Luna asked.
"How about we both do it? I don't want to take any chances that there could be a trap spell within this creature should anything tries to revert it back to its natural form." Celestia suggested, being a little cautious.
Luna nods and both sisters look at the dog monster who looks back at them, they hold out one hand each at the dog monster and glows gold and dark blue and black. Celestia and Luna close their eyes for a second and open them again with their magic aura reaching the dog monster covering the whole creature.
The princess sisters concentrate on finding the very source of the dark magic within the six-legged bloodhound though it didn't take long for them as they felt the darkness and grab it.
"Pull!" Luna yelled as they start pulling their auras away from the bloodhound monster.
It looked like a tough tug-a-war that the dog monster is struggling to hold its ground and the strange urge to not allow these women to take whatever is inside, but deep down it knew that this darkness is not a part of him and wants to be rid of it for good.
That wish was soon granted when Celestia and Luna manages to pull the darkness out of the bloodhound monster's body bring out the purple and black mist all out from the dog.
"Now for the container." Luna conjured her magic to bring a glass diamond-like bottle to appear.
Celestia and Luna move the mist inside the bottle making sure not to let a single one escape until it's all in and the Sun Princess seals it up with a cock and a magic sealing circle on top.
"It is done." Luna smiled.
"The bloodhound monster should return to normal." Celestia said as she looks at the bloodhound monster.
The six-legged bloodhound did shrink down to its normal size and the eyes are back to their normal color as well, but the rest of the extra features still remains for some reason though the dog is now calm and collective.
"Oh, it looks like the dog is still like that. Mostly." Fluttershy gasped a little.
"Looks like that dark spell has made it into a force evolution despite it being done by a strong dark magic, meaning that is going to be its new self from now on." Luna deduced the fate of this dog monster.
"Will that be alright with you?" Fluttershy asked the now newly six-legged bloodhound as it barks at her.
"Yes, yes, I promise you will be released into the wild so you can go back to your territory. Also, we promise to get back at the one who did this to you." Fluttershy nodded.
"Princess Celestia, would you mind sending him back to the forest outside of the city?" Fluttershy asked.
"Of course." Celestia nodded.
Celestia looked at the dog monster and her horn glows brightly for a moment as the dog monster starts glowing the same aura, then it vanished in an instant out of the city and back into its forest.
"Oh yes, me and Celestia are also the only ones who can do teleportation magic." Luna realized that just now.
"I hope it finds some peace at home." Fluttershy concerned for the Savage Crimson Six-Legged Bloodhound's well-being.
"It should be fine back home, and hopefully whoever did this to the dog monster won't even think about using him to attack the city again." Celestia assured.
"Just to be sure, you should check up on that dog monster a few times and so on just in case something like this happens again." Luna order Fluttershy.
"Thank you, I was already planning on doing that myself." Fluttershy smiled.
"Good, now we just need to think about the mysterious culprit and what their motives are." Celestia said.
"Maybe Spike can help, he mentioned that he's going to try investigate this case himself." Fluttershy mentioned about Spike going on his own case.
"Excellent, we just need to talk with him and hire him to find this person who would do such a thing." Celestia said.
"The only thing I could think of doing such a thing to the bloodhound monster would be an animal tamer, and a powerful one to even control monsters too." Fluttershy stated, as she is an animal tamer herself.
"At least that narrows down the search a little, no doubt that Spike have also realize this too." Luna said.
(With Spike)
"I have no doubt that the culprit is an animal tamer, just like Fluttershy also says." Spike said.
Spike and the three girls are walking together through the streets of Canterlot City in hopes to find something that could be related to the evil animal tamer that make the six-legged bloodhound attack the city yesterday.
"But how do we know which one we're looking for? We don't even know any other animal tamers outside of Fluttershy." Sunset asked.
"There's gotta be some place that has the best info though in a slightly private dark place where they don't have to worry about anyone else listening in." Spike said.
"I think I know just the place." Medios said, suddenly showing up to the party.
"Hi, Medios! What are you doing out here?" Pinkie asked.
"I'm on a little day off from the inn, so I decided to head to one of my favorite bars in town and the place may have something you're looking for." Medios answered.
"A bar, I was thinking of starting my search for the evil animal tamer and you just save me the trouble searching for one." Spike said.
"I'll be happy to help the mighty Dragon Lord with some troubling search for information, but I won't do it for free. You'll have to promise to do me one favor of my choosing anytime." Medios formed a deal with Spike.
"(I guess that's to be expected, back in the game when you want to get a special item or know what monster to go after, you gotta form an agreeable deal and this one will be easier without the choosing option.)" Spike thought remembered how hard it was to choose three options.
"Very well, this bar can provide me with the information I seek, and you shall have your favor." Spike declared the promise.
"Glad to hear it, I always knew you would be a reasonable dragon." Medios smirked while trailing a finger on his armor like she's touching his chest.
"(Shit, this woman is a master of seduction with just words alone! You better not show yourself, boner!)" Spike thought gasped and almost blushed.
"Don't worry, Spike has to do Twilight next in the chapter after this." Pinkie whispered to the Fourth Wall, giving the readers a wink.
"So, this bar." Spike said.
"Follow me." Medios gestured to the direction and starts walking.
"You know, I never fully get that woman." Sunset admitted.
"Me too, there is this mysterious air around her that is hard to see through." Twilight commented.
"Like me, but I'm the fun one." Pinkie said while skipping to follow Medios.
"I trust that woman, she hasn't been threatening to us since we moved into that inn and if she has any secrets then it's hers to keep unless it's something we really want to know." Spike stated, knowing the kind of person Medios is.
"Not let us not waste any more time with words and follow her." Spike said as he walks.
Sunset and Twilight look at each other for a moment and decided to trust Spike in this one since he seems to trust Medios.
The party follow Medios through the streets for a while until they stumble upon a part where they take a boat through the river street in order to get to this bar, it was a smooth ride as Spike does his best to leave as much room as possible for the girls to sit on the boat with Twilight on his laps.
"There it is." Medios pointed at the place with a sign.
"Dark Relief." Sunset read the sign.
"Oh, sounds spooky with the word dark in it." Pinkie commented.
"You should see the place when it's Nightmare Night." Medios said while paying the boat guy as they got off.
"There is a guy who comes here twice a month which is the second time today this month, he always loves to know certain things that pique his interest and make his business to get people curious on wanting to know that either paying by money or some drinks." Medios explained about the guy.
"You guys let me handle the guy and I'll have him talk to you." Medios looked at Spike.
They walked inside the bar which is completely covered darkness with the only light source being that of candles, and the fact that the people themselves are glowing each in different colors.
"I know this spell, it's for making people glow in the dark and the color would represent that person." Twilight was surprised at this.
"That's right, the owner wanted everyone to express themselves in a different way and this is it." Medios explained.
"(I don't think there was a bar like this in the video. Another big difference.)" Spike thought looked around, impressed with how this bar is.
"There he is." Medios pointed at one cat man who is glowing a combined color of purple and red as he is drinking from a big cup.
"Hey, Mr. Blake!" Medios called out, getting his attention.
"Medios, haven't seen you in a while. How have you been, still running that little inn with Chiffon?" Mr. Blake asked.
"I am, and it's been going great. We got ourselves four new residents which are these are, and they have some questions you may have the answers for." Medios answered and gestured to Spike's party.
"Well, I might give you something if you could give me a little something in return." Mr. Blake smirked.
"(This guy loves getting gossip information and getting people curious, not to mention he loves drinks and money. I think I have just the think.)" Spike thought held out his hand and a red jewel about the size of a baseball appeared.
"I believe this will buy you some drinks for a long while." Spike placed the red jewel on the table.
"WOW! If you're willing to give me this, then you must really want to know something!" Mr. Blake gasped.
"Yes, I'm looking for an animal tamer, one who has been doing dangerous experiments and using dark magic to make monsters go berserk even against their nature. Do you know anything about that?" Spike asked.
"Hmm, a dark animal tamer, you say?" Mr. Blake rubbed his chin a little.
"Come to think of it, I did hear about someone conjuring up some serious bad magic. In fact, it was about altering beings into more powerful but dangerous versions of themselves, a monster maker you could say." Mr. Blake mentioned.
"Do you know where this tamer is?" Spike asked.
"Nope, but I do know where I heard this from. A guy who does deliveries for unique things, but they're mostly for the black market. He lives about 7 blocks away from here in the Hoof Blood district." Mr. Blake informed.
(Hoof Blood District)
Spike and his Party arrives at the area Mr. Blake told him this salesman lives, they walk in trying to see if they can find the guy as Mr. Blake also told them the address.
But then Sunset notices something off such as several snowflakes coming in from one direction and looks over but then she gasps.
"Guys, I think we found out guy." Sunset alerted.
They look over to the unnatural snow coming from the alleyway to see everything is frozen within that area, and at the very end there is a man frozen with his body covered in ice along with an icy spear that has been impaled through the man's body.
Seeing this sight causes Twilight to gasp that she almost vomit, but she was able to hold it down while Sunset comforts her and Pinkie's hair deflated of sadness because of the man's cruel cold fate. Spike on the other hand is angry because someone clearly didn't want anything to be said to others even though this man didn't have any business with the tamer to begin with.
Spike steps forward wanting to free the dead body from the ice, but the moment he steps on the ice dozens and dozens of ice spears coming firing from the wall with the corpse at Spike who easily dealt with a powerful fire wall melting the ice and the ice on the wall.
"This just got more real than before." Spike said.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
Spike has decided to do some investigation about the mysterious evil animal tamer, and he may have gotten a lead, but that lead brought him to an icy grave of the guy who could've helped him track this person down because the tamer is making sure nothing get traces back to him. But that won't stop Spike one bit.
