"Wait, what do you mean by that?" Ishigami asked as he was still trying to figure out what Miko had just said. "Forget what I said, I wasn`t serious," said Miko as she turned red before running off. "What`s up with her?" Ishigami thought as he walked away.

"Now I`ve gone and done it," said Miko as she was facedown on her desk. "I told you it was a bad idea to lie about your arm," said Kobachi. "I didn`t think I would say something outrageous," said Miko. "What`s up with her?" said Rei as she approached them. "Nothing much, Miko said something crazy," said Kobachi. "Is that so? When isn`t she saying something crazy?" said Rei as she patted Miko`s head. "Now`s not a good time, can we talk about this later?" said Miko. "Sure, why don`t we get dinner after school, we haven`t had a girl's night in a while," said Kobachi. "I`m down," said Rei. "Sure, maybe it`ll clear my head a bit," said Miko as the bell rang, signifying the next period's start.

After School

"Everything okay on your end?" Miyuki asked as he walked up to Ishigami. "Yeah, the finances should be finished by the end of the day" Ishigami replied as he looked up from his laptop. "I see, something on your mind? You don`t seem like your usual self" Miyuki asked Ishigami. "It`s just that Miko said something strange, she seems upset that I`m not paying attention to her" Ishigami explained.

"That explains why Miko left a bit earlier than usual," Miyuki thought as he noticed something seemed off. "Since the girls left early to hang out, why don`t we get a bite to eat after everything is done? We can stop by the arcade afterwards," said Miyuki. "Yeah I`d like that, I still have a bit to finish," said Ishigami as he got back to work.

Later in the evening

"So what did you say to Ishigami?" Rei asked as they were at a hot pot restaurant. "She poured her feelings to Ishigami," said Kobachi as she scooped some vegetables on her plate. "No I didn`t, I just said I wanted him to pay more attention to me and not Tsubame-senpai," said Miko as she put some meat into the pot. "That`s a love confession basically," said Rei to which Miko turned red. "No it`s not, I never said I liked him," said Miko. "Well what you said showed that you were jealous of Ishigami fawning over Tsubame, if that isn`t a confession, I don`t know what is" said Rei. "Why would I confess to him? He`s fawning over Tsubame-senpai" said Miko. "Well, why would you be upset with Ishigami paying attention to another girl? He`s free to like who he wants" Kobachi replied as she scooped some vegetables.

"Realistically speaking, do you think you even have a chance with Ishigami?" Rei asked as she took a sip of soda. "What do you mean? Ishigami is even lucky that I`m paying attention to him" Miko said boldly. "Well considering the girl you`re going up against is the Madonna of the school, I`d say you have some tough competition," said Kobachi. "I`m not interested in any of that, the only thing I care about is maintaining order in the Student Council," said Miko as she devoured another plate of meat. "If she would just admit her true feelings," Kobachi thought as she watched her best friend turn into a competitive eater to clear her mind.

At the Arcade

"So what did Miko say to you exactly?" said Miyuki as the two played at a claw machine. "Well, she got mad at me for paying attention to Tsubame and not her," said Ishigami as he moved the claw. "I see, so what is Miko to you?" Miyuki asked Ishigami. "What do you mean?" Ishigami replied as he pulled out the prize he won. "I`m just curious, it seems that Miko is warming up to you more, when she first joined, the only thing I would see is you and her arguing constantly," said Miyuki as he put some coins in the machine. "We`re just fellow Student Council members that`s all, but that doesn`t explain why she`s been acting strange," said Ishigami.

"You realize the issue is that Miko is waiting for you to answer her, it could be that she sees you more than just a fellow Student Council member, why else would she be jealous?" said Miyuki. "I know that, but I don`t have a clear answer for her, I still have feelings for Tsubame" Ishigami replied as he pulled the prize out of the chute.

"I understand that, but if you don`t answer her, it will lead to more misunderstandings," said Miyuki. "Maybe I shouldn`t leave this to simmer, though I don`t know how to respond to her," said Ishigami. "That`s more like it, I want that prize, can you do me a small favor?" said Miyuki as he pointed to a prize to which Ishigami sighed. "All right then," said Ishigami as Miyuki put a few coins in the machine.

9:30 pm

"That was fun, wasn`t it?" said Miyuki as they walked outside the arcade. "Yeah, I feel a bit refreshed," said Ishigami as he sipped cola. "That was so good," said Miko as she and the others left the restaurant that was coincidentally beside the arcade. "Wait is that Ishigami and the President?" Rei said as Ishigami and Miko screamed as they pointed at each other.

"What are you doing here? Were you following me?" said Miko as she pointed at Ishigami. "As if, I was at the arcade with the Prez," said Ishigami. "The arcade? Student Council members shouldn`t be there after school hours" said Miko to which Ishigami sighed. "Technically there isn`t a rule that states we`re not allowed to be at the arcade, it`s frowned upon, but it`s not against the rules" Ishigami explained to which Miko sucked her teeth as Ishigami made a point.

"Seems like you had a fun time at the arcade," said Rei as she noticed the bags that the boys were carrying. "Yeah, we were gonna stay longer, but the arcade staff pleaded with Ishigami to take a week off playing the claw machines," said Miyuki to which Ishigami whistled in the background. "Yeah, I got too many prizes, you guys want some?" Ishigami asked as he took a bag off his shoulder. "Sure, I`ll take a plush, which one do you want Miko?" said Kobachi as the girls took some of the prizes Ishigami offered.

"It`s getting late, we all go back home," said Miko as her stomach growled. "Didn`t we just eat?" said Rei to which Miko turned red. "Cheer up, there`s a good soft-serve place nearby, why don`t we all get some," said Miyuki as he patted Miko`s head. "Alright, lead the way," said Miko as the gang walked together to get some dessert.

The Next Day

"Well, that didn`t help," Ishigami thought as he was on the rooftop looking at the view during lunchtime. "I`m already dealing with my dilemma regarding Tsubame-senpai and I still haven`t dealt with Miko, I just want to be happy with one girl, not a love triangle," said Ishigami as it seemed that Miko`s proclamation was still on his mind.

"I had a feeling I`d find you here," said a voice to which Ishigami turned around. "Oh it`s you Tsundere-senpai," said Ishigami as the voice was from Maki Shijo, Kaguya`s cousin. "I told you to stop calling me that, anyways it seems that you have something on your mind, no one comes up here unless they have something bothering them, tell your favorite upperclassman your issue," said Maki as she leaned on the railing. "Well you know about my situation with Tsubame right?" said Ishigami. "Yeah, what about it?" said Maki.

"It seems that someone new has entered the fray," said Ishigami. "Who? Fujiwara? Rei? Erika?" Maki asked. "No, it`s Miko, she got upset that I`ve been paying attention to Tsubame-senpai," said Ishigami. "I see, it must be nice being popular with the ladies," said Maki as she was jealous that her underclassman had better luck with romance than her. "I didn`t ask for this, I just want to have a happy romance, not some generic rom-com scenario," said Ishigami.

"I think she might have feelings for you," said Maki. "What? No way, this is Miko we`re talking about" said Ishigami as he was still in denial that his sworn enemy suddenly caught feelings for him. "Think about it, girls don`t get upset about a guy paying attention to another girl unless they feel a certain way towards them, there`s a saying that girls sometimes act out on purpose to get a guy`s attention," said Maki. "I suppose that`s true," said Ishigami.

How do you plan to deal with her? You know this screams I don`t want to just be friends," Maki asked. "Don`t know, I don`t have a clear answer for her, I feel like I have to let one person down whether I like it or not" Ishigami replied. "Tell her that you want some more time to think before you answer, it`s better than not giving her an answer and you`re not hurting anyone necessarily," said Maki as she patted Ishigami on the back. "I guess I`ll talk to her at some point, thanks for hearing me out, want some herbal tea?" Ishigami asked as he stretched himself. "I`d like that," said Maki as the two walked back downstairs.

Two days later

"Oh hey," said Ishigami as he entered the Student Council room. "Oh it`s you," said Miko as she looked up from her documents. "Wanna take a walk?" Ishigami asked as he put his bad down. "Sure, I guess," said Miko as the two walked out of the Student Council room.

"So what do you wanna talk about?" Miko asked. "It`s about what happened a few days ago," said Ishigami. "What about it? I told you to forget it" said Miko to which Ishigami stopped. "What are you doing? Have you finally accepted that you`re a deviant?" said Miko as Ishigami put her in a kabedon. "That`s rich coming from someone who said something so bold, stop dodging your actions," said Ishigami.

"Alright, I get it, can you get off me," said Miko as Ishigami loosened the kabedon. "But I`ve been wondering about something," said Miko. "What is it?" Ishigami asked. "Why are you fighting so hard for something that might not work out?" said Miko. "What are you talking about?" Ishigami asked seeming a bit confused. "I`m talking about you and Tsubame-senpai, she`s gonna be leaving in a few months, you guys will likely be strangers after that, long-distance relationships fail 90 percent of the time," said Miko.

"Tsubame is the reason that I`ve become a changed person, that`s why I`m not giving up if there`s a slim chance I can win her over, I won`t know unless I try," Ishigami replied. "She already rejected you once, what will happen if she rejects you a second time? Will you even be able to handle it?" Miko asked. "I want one last chance, if I don`t take this chance, I might regret this for the rest of my life," Ishigami said boldly. "I see," said Miko as she realized that Ishigami wasn`t going to change his mind for the time being.

"I want to wait until Tsubame decides for us first, then I`ll respond to your question," said Ishigami. "Sure, it`s not like you`ve lost feeling for Tsubame-senpai anyways, though you might not get your answer until graduation," said Miko as she shrugged. "By the way, you got upset with me paying attention to Tsubame-senpai. Do you want more affection or something or do you see me more than just a Student Council member?" said Ishigami to which Miko blushed.

"Me like you? Keep dreaming you slacker, maybe if you beat me in test results, I`ll consider it, you and me are Student Council members, and only that" said Miko as she brushed her hair. "Spoken like a tsundere, Maki might be right," Ishigami thought as it seemed that Miko was back to her old strict self.

"Let`s go back to the Student Council room, I think there`s a meeting soon," said Ishigami as he and Miko walked back into the school. "What`s it going to take to break the wall down? Although I should be a bit worried about my defenses being broken," Miko thought as Ishigami bringing up the subject of affection seemed to make her think Ishigami was catching on.

"Wait, does this mean that Iino likes Yu?" Tsubame thought as she listened to the conversation from a distance. "Yu has been so kind towards me, but should I let him down easy so someone who cares for him can fill what I can not? I need to answer Yu otherwise I`ll only be hurting others," Tsubame said as she walked away.

Results of Battle: Miko loses
