AUTHORS NOTE

Here is the conclusion to the rescue training arc, as well as a showing of good faith that not all of 1-A is completely screwed or OC as some people put it. After all, when you change the circumstances and information presented to people it will create different reactions. That is why as much as I hate characters like Bakugo who never get punished in cannon, at least he is not easily swayed in his ideals… as twisted as they sometimes became. Now to be clear a character can be easily swayed. But only if they are shown to have a very limited view of the world they lived in up till then. That is why as much as characters like Ida or Momo annoy me, they can change drastically in a believable way if handled correctly. So, anyone who reads this and wants to say I am pulling shit out of thin air… just don't. I have spent multiple chapters setting up the things that occur in this chapter if you pay enough attention. I have said my peace, now on with the show folks.

IZUKU MIDORIYA POV

Surrounded by enemies I stood shoulder to shoulder with Tetsu and Kendo as we were at the forefront of the pack with my only friend who transferred from 1-A to 1-B with me at my back. Even so I saw no reason to worry for once in my life as I had my classmates, my friends by my side. Giving a subtle nod to Tetsu and Kendo after locking eyes with each of them by means of a sideways glance getting nods and smiles from both of them. "All right everyone… let show them that we are heroes, NOT THEIR PREY!" I told everyone as we ran into the fight before us in groups.

UA TRAINING GROUND ALPHA

DAMAGED BUILDING

THIRD PERSON POV

OBSERVATION ROOM

Momo was blown away when she saw how well Izuku was fighting and handling himself without using his quirk or at least minimal use of it. As up till now she thought that the quirkless applicants being allowed was just for PR purposes by Principal Nezu to be seen as more sympathetic.

But seeing how he took down Tetsutetsu and his attack with the doors turned riot shields, she felt bad for looking down on him on that first day. Thinking he would have never amounted to much, wishing he was there during the USJ attack after seeing how he handled himself here.

"Is there really something more important for being a hero other than your quirk?" Momo muttered aloud, continuing her questioning of what she was taught all her till this point. The questions itself began after the USJ when she experienced what Hagakure did during the first battle trial. All the way down to the two muscle headed idiots who did not know anything other than punch the bad guy till he goes down.

"Young lady…" the blond hair and clearly emaciated man said, getting the attention of Momo, giving off a surprisingly strong aura. His appearance seemed familiar to the heiress, however she could not place where she had met him before. "... your world view is incredibly flawed and in serious need of adjustment." He told her, making her almost fall backward at the harsh and disappointed look he held in his almost hollow looking eyes as they made eye contact.

Never before had anyone ever told her so harshly, and with so much disregard for her family reputation that she was wrong. Even when All Might and Principal Nezu scolded her along with her class, they kept it professional and respectful. Most likely due to her if their occasion focused glances on her during the lectures was anything to go by.

"A person does not get value from their quirk, rather it is the quirk that gets its value from how the person uses it. The most important thing for a hero is not their physical strength, but the strength of their heart. That is why anyone can be a hero despite their quirk, so long as they have the right heart then the only thing that they need to do is put in the effort to do so. Until you fix that then you will never properly learn how to be a hero." He continued after she regained her balance and was focused again.

The way the man spoke… it was as if he spent acquiring literal decades of hero work under his belt, but there was something else there as well. Almost as if he was also reprimanding himself for making the same mistake he said she was making. Momo however could not remember a hero that looked like him, but that did not matter much when compared to his message.

"Thank you for telling me, I will make sure to learn from this sen… I'm sorry sir but are you a teacher? I don't recognize you." Momo started after shaking her head lightly before she realized halfway that she had not seen them around the school before.

Fortunately for All Might who was now in the middle of internally floundering and was almost about to do so externally in front of her, Vlad King spoke up. "Actually, he is new here, though not a hero he has worked closely as an assistant to heroes over in America. Nezu thought it would be good to have him here to help after the USJ incident, that way All Might can focus solely on future attacks." the blood hero told her, hoping All Might could handle the rest on his own.

"Th-that is correct, my name is Toshinori Yagi, so feel free to call me Yagi-sensei whenever you see me in the hallway." All Might told her as he held out a handshake for her to accept.

"I hope you will be patient with a foolish student like me." Momo responded by shaking his hand properly. She was highly excited and feeling more assured after hearing what she was told Principal Nezu had done. Before she could fire off the dozens of more questions she had for the man, she noticed something on the screen. "Is she actually going to-" She was about to ask when she was cut off by the teacher of 1-B.

"No, she is not, I can assure you she will not make it." Vlad King told her, already seeing where this situation on screen was going. Putting a great emphasis on what he said, giving off an aura of obsolete certainty that told her to trust him. It was also something that proved him right for placing Hagakure where he did on the two teams between the heroes and villains.

TENTH FLOOR

Izuku was focused on keeping an eye out for Kendo at the front when he felt that sudden stinging sensation again coming from behind. "SETSUNA IS ATTACKING US!" Izuku shouted, alerting his teammates. Causing Awase to notice her despite her flying in from just outside his range of view and around a corner for extra caution.

Even with the element of surprise gone, she still continued with it, focusing her kicks first to push down Awase shield on an angle. This then allowed her punches and headbutt to reach Kamakiri a moment after, forcing both his arms to block the punches occupying them. Finally, was her head and chest, one of which was aimed clearly as it was accurately at Izuku's face, making him go red in the face.

"WHA ARE YOU OOING!" Izuku said with his words not being heard quite right by the others due to the breasts blocking his mouth. Though it was close enough for them all to figure out, making Setsuna snicker.

"Giving the baby my milk, what else do you think I'm doing?" Setsuna asked mockingly, gladly taking advantage of the exercise to tease him like this without Ibara around to restrain her. However she forgot two things, the first thing was that even though she could control her detached limbs her nervous system was not fully functional during these moments. The second thing she forgot was that due to that she could not feel someone grabbing her limbs, like an angry Kamakiri.

Not wasting the moment, she looked away from him to tease Izuku, Kamakiri quickly pinned her arms on top of each other with two blades against the wall. Hearing this she turned her head around immediately to be met with a headbutt followed by a powerful kick into the depths of the hallway where Kendo was.

"Hold still!" Kamakiri yelled lightly at the panicking Izuku who was failing to get Setsuna's chest off his face with one hand. Finally getting it off after a full minute of struggling, Kamakiri opened the door to the room beside them, throwing it in there before shutting the door. "You done Awase?" He asked him as he turned around to see the classmate using his quirk to stick her feet against the wall.

"Yeah I'm done, now let's take down Kendo and end this." Awase said giving Izuku a missing feeling, but the green haired wonder did not say anything as they could not figure out what they were missing.

"Alright, you go back around and approach from the right in case she tries to escape from behind us." Kamakiri told Awase, now realizing their rushed mistake just because they heard Kendo opening and closing the door earlier.

Going the other way by himself was Awase, though not much of a planner was smart enough to follow along with such a simple combat strategy. With the rooms in the middle of them, there was no way for her to escape making this an absolute pincer attack.

All of that aside, if it was any of the others sent by themselves, then they might have complained. But he knew that unlike Izuku he could jam up the hallway with his shield long enough for those two to arrive. Besides, with the threat of a surprise attack from all sides now gone, Izuku could easily ditch the shield to pick up the pace.

Back with Izuku and Kamakiri they were carefully going through the doors. With Kamakiri opening them while standing behind them, while Izuku stood in front with the shield held tightly expecting an attack. After three doors without anything they came across the head of the unconscious Setsuna.

Letting out a sigh was Kamakiri who shook his head while Izuku made a tiny almost mouse-like squeak as he remembered her earlier attack. Picking up her head was the exasperated Kamakiri who tossed it behind him, then he nudged Izuku forward. This was when they heard fighting on the other side, making Izuku toss his shield aside as he ran ahead of Kamakiri.

What Awase was in the middle of was his best attempt to hold back Kendo against the wall as she had jumped out of the room he just checked. When she popped out from behind the door she used her enlarged fists to do two quick yet devastating palm strikes.

But to her clear surprise he stood his ground. Even so she quickly snapped out of it doing the same double strike again to try and push him out of the doorway. But this time he sidestepped the left after taking the right hit, pushing her back into the room onto her back.

"EVEN IF YOU ARE FASTER THAN ME! YOUR ENLARGED ARE STILL SLOWER THAN YOUR NORMAL SIZED HANDS!" Awase proudly declared as she got up, turning round to face her after he quickly used his quirk to set his shield on an angle with the handles facing the inside.

This was a realization for Kendo, who never considered what her more powerful strike sacrificed to achieve that kind of power. Though in hindsight she should have realized it sooner, much sooner back home before coming to UA. Obviously her enlarged hands would take her longer to move, even if only by a mere half-second or full second of time. But since she sparred with her classmates without using her quirk for the previous combat training, some of them like Awase who had an eye for detail would notice this.

"You really think that you can take me down without your shield?" Kendo asked as she began a repeat of palm strike using her enlarged fists, intent on pushing him back and out of the room.

When she managed to push him out of the way, she could then leap out and run down to the next floor, as the fire escape on this floor was blocked by a window. A window mind you that was jammed shut. Now normally they could have just broken it themselves before, but the jammed window also blocked the enemy from using it, so they kept it intact to be safe relying on their traps.

Once again to her shock due to Awase she was dumbfounded. Despite taking a total of twenty strikes, ten repetitions for each hand, he was still standing tall albeit bruised with a bloody nose. "I may not be able to take you down myself, but that's fine, my job is just to hold you back for Kamakiri and Izuku to capture you." He told her grinning as she realized panic must have filled her eyes.

Hearing the running of the other two she realized she had no time left and had to rush him. Despite the chance for him to bind her via her costume and his quirk, she rushed forward. Hitting two quick punches to his stomach as she squatted down to dodge his hand, she then uppercut him, sending him tumbling back over the shield.

Hopping over the shield she saw Kamakiri and Izuku make it to where she was, looking ready to take her down. Running as fast as she could she tried to escape the two against one she knew she could not win given her two opponents. However, she was not fast enough and got taken down with a combination of two small air blasts from Izuku with Kamakiri tripping her with what she thought was a missed throw from him.

Getting over her was Kamakiri who bound her hands smirking at the defeated class president. "Looks like we took you all down, so will you surrender instead of making us knock you out?" He told seeing her smirk back in response, causing his to disappear.

"You didn't take all of us down, looks like you forgot someone rather important. Sorry but the heroes are going to lose this time." Kendo said happy to wipe the smirk off Kamakiri face and seeing the look of realization dawn onto Izuku made her understand Midnight... just little bit.

"KOMORI!" Izuku shouted as he realized what the bad feeling in his gut up till now was.

"Komori?" Kamakiri asked, confused as they never saw her when they first entered the floor.

"We never saw her. Remember the mushroom spore quirk used for the trap was hers." Izuku told him as he also realized their mistake, hopefully the others could stop her instead. It was a few moments later when Vlad king would declare the heroes the winners, ending the exercise.

SEVENTH FLOOR

Hating herself for running away instead of fighting, Kinoko forced her self-loathing down to try and win this for her team. However, the fire escape was not an option for an escape to the first floor as she was told to exit through the front door only. That means her only chance is to try to push past everyone left guarding the entrance, as bad as the odds were.

The ninth floor was easy due to it being aired out and her knowing where the remaining traps were hidden. Though the hero team got rid of most of them already, so none were in her way. When met with the eighth floor, tiptoeing was required for the floor. It was badly damaged even before the fighting between Midoriya and Tetsutetsu, so she was not surpised. With only two near trips while running, she successfully got to her goal which was the staircase of the seventh floor.

"Just a little bit more and I will reach the point where I need to probably force my way…through?" Kinoko said to herself as she was running down to the sixth floor, seeing Toru carry Tsuburaba causing her to fade off in a stupor.

However, she only saw a strangely standing Tsuburaba as Toru's new costume made her completely invisible. As such all she saw was the victim in this instance was mostly able to walk on his own with only a little help for balance needed. This odd sight was what had caused her to become confused, as she forgot that today was the unveiling of Toru's new costume.

This resulted in Toru being able to carefully drop him and quickly blind her mushroom themed classmate in a single moment. However, this caused Kinoko to aim randomly around her, so Toru could not get close to her, well physically anyway. It was due to this confused attack that Toru had accidently discovered a new attack. One she would eventually, though not now, that she would use it on a certain 'manly' person.

TENTH FLOOR

Kendo was looking smug just moments ago and was now looking more like a sad clown after hearing the villain team lost with Kinoko capture.

"To be fair, even if she got to the fourth floor she still would have been caught due to that front door rule." Kamakiri told her in his attempt to cheer her up… well partially, he mostly just wanted to rub salt into the wound for always scolding him.

"Well at least we are done with the breast attacks now…" Izuku said wearily not wanting to try and block that awkward attack a second time.

"BREAST ATTACK!" Kendo yelled back in surprise seemingly not aware or rather surprised for some reason that Setsuna did that. A few moments of silence passed before… "WHAT DID I TELL YOU WOULD HAPPEN THE NEXT TIME YOU DID SOMETHING DIRTY IN THIS EXERCISE!?" She loudly called out, the recipient of said remark obvious for all three boys.

"I REGRET NOTHING!" Setsuna yelled as she panickily flew away with bits of broken wood covering her chest. All while in the background Monoma woke back up just as the defeat was declared.

However, he felt like he had no presence in the room when compared to his… extremely unique classmates to put it politely. As such no one noticed until they were almost at the entrance as Kendo had run after the fleeing Setsuna to catch her before the teacher could.

Perhaps this bad feeling he gets from fading into the background was why he sought the attention of others like Hagakure… all be it in a more extreme and aggressive form that is. In a different universe similar to this one, he would likely have held a deep hatred for 1-A if Izuku was there instead of in 1-B to show him how to be a better person.

OBSERVATION ROOM

Except for Tsuburaba and Kuroiro, everyone was gathered in the observation room for an after-exercise review. Also, upon entering Setsuna was being held by Shiozaki in a crucifix pose while being scolded for her perverted attack.

However, before Vlad King could get her to put down Setsuna so he can get to the review. There was a bombardment of questions directed at Momo Yaoyorozu and the deflated form of All Might. Granted, the questions directed to the young heiress were steeped in anger unlike the ones for the blond man. With a select few voices standing out compared to all the others.

"ARE YOU HERE TO CAUSE TROUBLE AGAIN YOU AWFUL SINNER?!" Shiozaki questioned with great emphasis before being held back by a hand on her shoulder.

" YOU BETTER LEAVE MIDORIYA AND HAGAKURE ALONE!" Tetsutetsu told her, not hesitating to stand up for his classmates as he believes a man is supposed to do.

"IF YOU WANNA GO A ROUND I WOULD BE HAPPY TO YOU PONYTAILED BITCH, SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?" Kamairi asked her before getting slapped upside the head by Kendo who also likes to do her hair in a ponytail.

Fortunately for Vlad King, All Might was just as much of an expert at getting a crowd to calm down as he was when it came to getting them excited. "Please wait and listen to her first children, as both an adult and a faculty member I can assure you she isn't here to cause trouble." All Might told them in a minor panic, which was only indicated through his slightly wild arm movement and not his measured clear voice.

"I'm sorry sir, but… who are you exactly?" Jurota Shishida asked the emancipated man, who clearly was not a hero even though he claimed to be a staff member. As a matter of fact, there was only one student who seemed to recognize the man. Given that it was Izuku who seemed to recognize the man this raised a few questions along with an obvious one asked by Kamakiri distracting everyone from Izuku.

"Where is All Might? Wasn't he watching us with you?" Kamakiri asked, noticing the lack of a symbol of peace in the room.

"He had something urgent come up, so Mr. Yagi here had come to take his place." Vlad King responded quickly, hoping it would end there, however…

"As a former assistant to heroes in America, Principal Nezu hired him to help teach us until the leader that attacked us at the USJ is caught. That way All Might can be ready and more focused to catch them." Momo declared happily, not realizing the internal screaming of the two grown men behind her as they barely managed to keep the panic from showing on their faces. After all, they only made that up on the spot to appease her curiosity, so they still needed Nezu approval for that deception.

"I see." Kendo said with slight confusion before pulling herself together. "I am Itsuka Kendo of class 1-B and the class president. I hope we will get along well, Yagi-sensei." She told him kindly, making sure to make a good first impression on the man. Even if she and almost all her class had serious doubts he could teach them that much due to his obvious health problems.

"That doesn't explain why SHE is here." Setsuna said with her bitterness towards the heiress clear for what she did to Hagakure. "OW!" was her response to being smacked upside the back of her head by Ibara. An angry Ibara who had her currently bound in a sitting position on her knees using the vines growing from the head of the sometimes-hypocritical class saint.

"I'm… I'm here to say something to Hagakure and Midoriya." Momo responded, causing everyone who was not Setsuna and Ibara. Fortunately for the heiress, the two people everyone was trying to protect had stepped forward.

"Midoriya… Hagakure?" Tetsutetsu asked them, impressed by their manliness to not hide but still worried about them.

"What exactly is it you wanted to say?" Izuku asked her, standing just barely in front of Hagakure to step between them just in case. Granted, he was hopeful that a talk with All Might, even under an alias would have taught the clearly remorseful looking girl a thing or two.

"I regre- No… I am so sorry for how I treated both of you. I judged you both too fast and too quickly, when I should have talked properly to you both first before making assumptions of your abilities." Momo told them bowing her head deeply to them, holding the bow and almost in tears before Hagakure put a hand on her shoulder.

"I need you to explain to me as to why you had the sudden change. I doubt it was just being attacked by villains that caused you to change like this." Hagakure told her, though willing to give her another chance like Izuku did, but confused as to why she suddenly came to apologize to them.

What followed was a tale of Momo going through the exact same thing Hagakure did with the exact same people. As well as the pep talk that the new teacher they were just introduced to gave to her. Letting out a sigh, Hagakure responded properly to her resolve to seek her out to apologize and change her ways. This also caused everyone to change their views of the almost skeleton-like man who clearly was able to at least guide them onto the proper moral path.

"I… I can't say I can completely forgive you yet, but I can at least forgive you enough to give you a second chance. So please raise your head Yaoyorozu." Hagakure told her, helping to straighten her posture.

"Hagakure is right, there is no need to bow like that." Izuku told Momo, seeing her break down into tears as he then had to help Hagakure comfort her.

Little did they know that these two forgiving Momo would start a domino effect to tear apart what remained of 1-A. Giving the HPSC the greatest resource to use to try to take down Nezu and gain complete control over UA, as well as the future of hero society.
